Preview for HFC 108: Jackson vs Kid

HFC 108 is the date where you don't want to be late, mate. For Hardcore Fighting Championship is going to sell out the Saku Dome. 7,000 fans stand to expect a stacked card, heavily injected by new blood out of the now defunct Rio Fight League. Many former RFL fighters have found their way to to the HFC and will now test themselves on new soil. Let's look at the main card in total.

Romulus “The Victor” Fietsora (13-4, 1-0 in HFC) vs. Holger The Dane (8-4, HFC debut)

Welterweight bout

The opener will be between Romulus Fietsora, who won his first fight for the HFC recently, and Holger the Dane, who would like nothing more than to secure a successful HFC debut of his own. Both men are strikers, first and foremost. But Fietsora may have a slight edge in the ground department, which he may seek to exploit. Especially given that Holger The Dane has struggled on the ground in the past.

Yes Man Sanchez (14-7, 4-2 in HFC) vs. Iosue Nicu (17-3, 1-0 in HFC)

Light Heavyweight bout

In the next fight, Rumanian standout Iosue Nicu will be put to the test. This sensational MMA striker has collected 205 gold in two orgs already and now is determined to add the FC Light Heavyweight strap to his collection. Standing in the path of such ambitions is the battle tested Yes Man Sanchez. A man, who just fell short of securing the 205 HFC Championship himself, when he lost against Champion Devon Bailey. This is an extremely competitive fight, which will have the eyes of everybody with aspirations of going anywhere in the HFC 205 pound division glued to it.

"Brooklyn Bruiser " William Burns (34-11-1, HFC debut) vs. Eldar “The Giant” Smith (10-6, 2-1 in HFC)

Heavyweight bout

The Brooklyn Bruiser was once recognized as one of the most dangerous heavyweights on the planet and holds notable victories over a who-is-who of yesterday. Now that he is 40 years old, it may seem tempting to write him off. But William Burns is still running surprisingly strong, having won three out of his last five, he still is very consistent. And he still can knock people out! Should he do it against Eldar Smith, he would collect his 30th career knockout! A milestone that many fighters never reach. Eldar Smith however, is a tall order. A 2,15 meter large order with a 100% knockout ratio of it's own. That is both, in MMA and in Kick Boxing! And he is 13 years younger. A potentially dangerous fight for Burns. But then again, Smith himself has suffered virtually all his career losses by knockout. That also holds true for his kick boxing record (4-5). So if this trend continues, somebody will be flattened! And Burns definitely has a massive edge in experience.

Zdravko "Hrvata Sokol" Saric (7-3, 4-1 in HFC) vs. "The Dinosaur" Barney Rumble (8-0, HFC debut)

Heavyweight bout

The Croation Zdravko Saric has gained tremendous second wind during his HFC stint as of late. After a bumpy start to his pro career, greatly belying his actual ability, he has found his own rhythm in HFC, it seems. He strung together a four fight win streak in the organization. Saric is best described as a Muay Thai specialist with dangerous hands, very technical and tough as nails. He has yet to be beaten decisively. And all his seven wins came by way of knockout. But now he is in for the biggest test in his career. His opponent Barney Rumble is a perfect 8-0 in MMA and 8-3 as a kick boxer. Included within his flawless MMA record are three victories at Super Heavyweight. He boasts a 100% knockout rate in MMA and an 87,5 one in kick boxing. Given that Saric has no real grappling pedigree, he will have to take Rumble at his game. Not that he would have it any other way. This is an absolute fight of the night candidate!

"The Children Of The Sea" Michael Jackson (19-4; HFC debut) vs. Bill "Bonney" The Kid (20-10; HFC debut)

Welterweight bout

This main event is one that many fans of the RFL would have loved to see there. But the company closed it's gates before it could happen. Now it is going down! Here in the HFC! Michael Jackson vs. Bill The Kid!

Michael Jackson has so far put together an impressive 19-4 record, relying mostly on his Muay Thai based kicking game, educated hands and dirty boxing in the clinch, to do so. The runner up of the last Island season's welterweight tournament has been criticized for soft matches after leaving the Island. But there will be little room fur such criticism as far as it concerns Highland Games veteran and former Middleweight fighter Bill The Kid, who hasn't anything soft about him. His big right hand hand has secured him a 90% knockout ratio. And knocking a guy like Michael Jackson out cold would sky rocket his current standing. He is however five years the older and never was seen as somebody with the most trustiest of chins. This one could go either way!

Andretii "Black Bull" Kazadorez (281226)

on fighting Sami "The Vatman" Vatanen (284876)

@

HFC 108:Jackson vs Kid (886585)

Reporter- How do you feel about this fight?

Andretii- Man I tell you what Sami beat me up in our last fight, props to him, but I'm a different fighter now.

Reporter- In what ways are you different and what happened before?

Andretii- Well I've changed managers and my camps have been tweaked, I can't say much on that. In our last fight I got a "Rich Franklin Deal" like he was some damn Anderson Silva clinch monster.

Reporter- So, we will see a different fight this time?

Andretii- I will finish him....period. I just can't wait to be across the cage from him so I can look him in the eye. I've got a lot to prove in this fight.

Reporter- Is this a personal revenge fight for you?

Andretii- Not revenge, redemption. I have to prove to myself that I can still do this.

Reporter- Sounds like you have really focused on this fight?

Andretii- This will be my 20th fight of my career, yet I'm only 25. I've done a lot of fighting with injuries and sustained lots of cuts which lost me some fights. Look at all these scars, I can't be a damn model when I retire anymore. So, to me when I'm healthy enough like I am now its time to prove to myself that the ride is not over yet.

Reporter- Thank you for your time, and we hope to talk to you again after the fight.

Andretii "Black Bull" Kazadorez (281226)

on his loss @ HFC 108

Reporter- Can you tell us yours thoughts on your loss against Sami Vatanen?

Andretii- I feel terrible, and my face continues to be scarred. I felt good the first couple of minutes, landed some shots and defended well and got out of his clinch, but as the round went on his defense was better and getting cut again really sucked. His clinch game was too strong.

Reporter- What are your plans for returning to the cage?

Andretii- Well, even though I fought better this time, Sami definitely is better. I don't think there is much of a future for me here at Hardcore. I'm a veteran of the division, and realistically a gatekeeper. There are many fighters here better than me.

Reporter- Are you thinking of retiring Andretii?

Andretii- I'm not sure yet. I've got a couple fights left on this contract and I feel that I can either finish it out or ask for a release. I've talked to my manager and we are in discussions with the owner about my future. Sometimes, sticking around may be doing the HFC a disservice.

Reporter- Thank you Andretii, no matter what you decide to do the fans will know you came to fight and gave it your best.

Andretii- Chao

Randy Curran - the Heavyweight champion of HFC - suffered a brutal 1st round knock out loss to the #1 P4P fighter in the world, Kajun Puno.

Puno lands an uppercut, right on the button! Curran tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space!

He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kajun Puno!

He was evacuated from the cage on a stretcher and delivered to Hardcore Fighting Championship's HQ in St. Petersburg.

Preview for HFC 109: Mangrove vs Yaj 2

The Kazan Sambo Center, St. Petersburg is in for an other fine line-up of prize-fighting action. As HFC 109 once more graces it's native soil. A title fight and a rematch of a fight, that didn't produce a winner the first time around, await!

Alka Mangrove (15-6-1; 3-3-1 in HFC) vs Eon Yaj (14-2-1; 0-0-1 in HFC)

Lightweight bout

This rematch pits two fighters against each other, who already squared off not too long ago at HFC 105. It ended in a draw. But this time around Alka Mangrove and Eon Yaj will go for broke. Yaj is the more busy striker of the two, which was in full display in their first fight, where Mangrove troubled his opponent with an absurd amount of kicks, possibly just doing enough to keep him at bay, so that the judges were thinking: “Draw … LOL”. Because that was pretty much all that happened in the first fight, since neither fighter managed (or cared to?) impose his will in the clinch or on the ground to any meaningful degree, other than exerting a bit of control. It was a stand up affair for the most part. Now it is back to the drawing board for both fighters. All in order to see who made the right adaptions to win this time. No questions asked!

Tyrone Spong (10-2-2; 6-1-2 in HFC) vs Oleg "Black Tiger" Nemkov (17-14; 13-13 in HFC)

Middleweight bout

The co-main event will be between one of the HFC's rising stars and one of it's most recognizable characters. Tyrone Spong only suffered defeat once in his nine fights for the HFC. And the two back-to-back draws during this run were against Kostya Tszyu, who now happens to be the Pulse Middleweight Champion. Such a resume within the organization has brought 25 year old Tyrone Spong at the forefront of the fans attention. Many fancy him as a future champion. A title he had in his grasp already, only to suffer his sole loss in the HFC at the hands of (back then) defending champion Vova Klimov. But ever since drawing twice in a row against Kostya Tszyu, Tyrone Spong won four out of his last five and two in a row in the HFC. Now he is in for a classic gatekeeper scenario. For he is about to face Oleg "Black Tiger" Nemkov. Or should we say Oleg "Mr. HFC" Nemkov? For Nemkov has not only fought for the HFC 185 strap multiple times himself, but he has fought in the HFC a grand total of 26 times. And he started doing so as early as HFC 2 and is already a Hall of Famer! Nemkov is no fun for anybody, since he is not particularly reliant on any specific path to victory and is also arguably the more experienced grappler than Sponge. Sponge will have to be on point for a test, that is much sterner than it appears at first glance.

Also on the card

Li Kong Ho "Tsekwa" (21-7; 3-1 in HFC) vs "The Journalist" Damiao Marcos (8-3; HFC debut)

Featherweight bout

Li Kong Ho is seen by many as a fighter, who is still developing. And yet he already has 28 fights worth of experience, which is a lot more than many other 27 year old fighters could claim for themselves. And there are voices, who see him as a clear contender in the 145 title picture in the HFC. But recent changes in management and a decision loss versus Ben Miller, bringing a three fight win streak to an end, left some wondering if Li Kong Ho is really up to it. He will seek to win over all doubters in defeating HFC debuting Damiao Marcos. A fighter of not as much experience but certainly of comparable talent like Ho if the pundits are to be believed. Both fighters have shown various ways to victory in the past. So this one could go either way and any way.

Gustavo "The Russian" Santos (18-9; HFC debut) vs Veikko Kulkunen (10-1-1; 1-0 in HFC)

Bantamweight bout

Given that Gustavo Santos' nickname is “The Russian”, one has to wonder what took him so long to make his way to Russia's leading MMA promotion. Now he is here. And he will meet a man inside the cage, who is just going into his second HFC fight himself: Veikko Kulkunen. Kulkunen is as pure a grappler as one will find on this level of the game. He secured eight of his ten victories by way of submission and has yet to be beaten decisively. The 33 year old is a BJJ black belt and a sensationally good wrestler in addition to that. “The Russian” however, has an equal grappling pedigree. And in addition to that, a perfect 8-0 KT record. This is where many feel the big difference lies. Santos has proven hands (and feet) whereas Kulkunen doesn't. Should this one remain standing, then Kulkunen will be in for more of an uphill battle than he can probably stomach. That is if Santos can resist his takedowns (53% success rate) and overcome Kulkunen's yet-to-be-cracked chin.

Kern Dignity "The Student" (13-7; 1-1 in HFC) vs Karol Mirowski (9-3-1; HFC debut)

For the HFC Bantamweight Championship of the World

Kern Dignity once was regarded as a certain up and comer. Under the tutelage of former top ranked manager Diablo Escovar he seemed destined for greatness. But frequent lapses and changes in management as well as mixed success left him in unexpected obscurity. Now he has set up shop in the HFC. And a silent arrival, it was not. The trash-talking American seems to be the perfect villain, that Russian audiences just love to hate. This new persona has turned things around for him tremendously, as he now finds himself all of a sudden in a title fight for the vacant HFC 135 belt. His opponent will be Karol Mirowski. The Pole so far has made a decent career, but was much like Kern plagued by inconsistencies in management. And being six years the older (31 to Kern's 25 years), Mirowski will be damned if a foul mouthed Yankee should deny him the opportunity to shizzle his name into title history.

Lee Sang Seok Vs Philip Gallagher PREVIEW

By Alika Webb

This preview is brought to you by Urban Fighter, the number one clothing store in New York and the official sponsor of the submission wizard Lee Sang Seok.

Hardcore Fighting Championship

HFC 111 - Lee Sang Seok (14-3) Vs Philip Gallagher (18-12)

In St Petersburg’s number one organization, one man has been wreaking havoc in the lightweight division. Lee Sang Seok’s only defeat since joining HFC has been a title fight against then lightweight champion and current featherweight champion Cristian Tavares. That loss snapped a four fight winning streak but now the grappling standout is back on track with three consecutive wins under his belt. To keep walking the path of victory he’ll need to overcome the talented striker Philip Gallagher. A man on a mission looks to rebound from a sour defeat and to establish his dominance in his promotional debut. Gallagher has been a mainstay for over a year in the Underground organization but he decided to make a career switch as a title fight ended in bitter defeat. Now he will be baptized by fire as he is set to debut for HFC against the greatest foe the division has to offer. Will Philip Gallagher be able to rise to the challenge or will he be fed to the wolves as he takes on grappler extraordinaire Lee Sang Seok?

A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu red belt, Lee Sang Seok has a stunning number of ten submission victories on his resume. Never does he take the long road, this energetic young warrior lives and breathes grappling and he doesn’t waver in his quest to take you down to the ground. He may not be mistaken for a one trick pony though, strikes with tremendous speed land with superb accuracy and there is no quit in Lee Sang Seok, no matter how much trouble he faces. Nevertheless, it is on the ground where he should be feared the most. Pulverizing ground and pound strikes land with lethal intent and open the gates for slick submissions to finish the job.

Facing the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu red belt is the pure striker Philip Gallagher, making this a classic striker Vs grappler match-up. Gallagher’s style can only be described as brawling in its purest form. He stands in front of you and unloads on you with a multitude of strikes until only one man remains standing. The distance he strikes from is irrelevant as he can take some tremendous amounts of punishment and is always ready to dish out some of his own. He strikes with all his weight behind it and is never afraid of taking a risk if it comes to finishing the fight but will he still be able to take such risks when Lee Sang Seok is on the prowl for a takedown?

HFC 110 brings you three title fights from the sacred soil of Mother Russia's fighting capitol, St. Petersburg. And if the line-up is any indication, it will be a night full of exciting fights, crushing knockouts and just all-around mayhem. Let's take a look at the complete main card in all it's glory!

Orpheus "Big Guy" Boagrius (19-4; 2-0 in HFC) vs "El Padrino" Estafan Atunes (8-6; HFC debut)

For the HFC Super Heavyweight Championship of the World

The main card starts with one very frightening specimen of a man. Enter Orpheus Boagrius. A massive, violent man, who amassed a 19-4 record. A strong winning record, especially at 265+, where defeats are dealt frequently by massive hands. Speaking of which: Boagrius has a 100% knockout rate to his name. The majority of which coming in round number one. Across the cage will be Estefan Atunes, a Super Heavyweight journeyman with plenty of reason to shit his pants. Should he win this one, this fight would become a mainstay on many “greatest upset ever” lists to come.
Chris "The Belgian Beast" Bellum (12-5; 8-3 in HFC) vs Starling Silva (12-5; 7-4 in HFC)

For the HFC Middleweight Championship of the World

The next fight will be for the vacant 185 HFC Championship of the World. It was vacated after it became obvious, that up until now champion Aedan Declan was too busy loitering around, taking drugs and hanging around in strip clubs with his recently lazy manager, Sean McDonnel. What a waste of talent ……. damn shame. And what good news it is for the two men, who will now fight for the title. Chris Bellum fought for the 205 strap twice, but was put away both times by the HFC's 205 kingpin Devon Bailey. Now he jumped down a weight class to maybe snatch the Middleweight belt right away. Looking to spoil his arrival is Starling Silva, a man who already went the distance in five rounds with former Champ Aedan Declan and has bounced back with a three fight winning streak since then. This time he wants to grab the gold. This is a fight between two men, who have been denied gold in the past. Expect things to become intense really fast!

Oshan "Red" Jackson (13-4; HFC debut) vs Azumah Nelson (12-6-1; HFC debut)

Bantamweight bout

This Bantamweight bout will see two very interesting additions to HFC's Bantamweight division collide. Oshan Jackson was the Underground's first ever Bantamweight Champion of the World and has become an astute Bantamweight fighter. Notoriously tough, he threatens with his striking on the feet as well as on the ground. His opponent, Azumah Nelson, once was a champion in primal but had only mixed success ever since. However, he is every bit as tough as Oshan Jackson is. So this one could quickly escalate into an all-out slugfest.

Petro "Roshen" Poroshenko (17-5; HFC debut) vs Zdravko "Hrvata Sokol" Saric (7-4; 4-2 in HFC)

Heavyweight bout

The co-main event will see Zdravko "Hrvata Sokol" Saric return to work early. A versatile, tough striker, Saric just got dealt his first KO loss at the hands of Barney Rumble. Looking to add to his own 100% knockout ratio, he was hellbent to bounce back as fast as possible. His opponent will be HFC debuting Petro "Roshen" Poroshenko, a Ukrainian mauler, who has been knocking out opponents left and right over the course of his career. A career, which saw him become a two time PFC Heavyweight champion. And he would love nothing more then to go down the same path in HFC. But he will have to go through Saric, first.

Russell "Bully" Northrop (12-2; 4-1 in HFC) vs Bill "Bonney" The Kid (21-10; 1-0 in HFC)

For the HFC Welterweight Championship of the World

The main event of the evening also sees a guy, who is eager to return to action, given that he just fought on the same card then the aforementioned Saric. Bill The Kid, after defeating Michael Jackson in his HFC debut, is now hellbent to become the HFC welterweight champion. He had his wish granted and is now fighting Russell Northrop, who is holding this title for the second time in HFC. Bill The Kid will be in for an uphill battle in this one. He may be a very good striker but the champion is also a fairly decent puncher and has by far the better ground game. And taking The Kid down is something, that was proven to be perfectly doable time and time again in the past. So unless he hasn't beefed up his game in that respect, the champion will provide a massive threat on the ground.

Preview for HFC 111: Bailey vs Dolla

http://s019.radikal.ru/i610/1708/7a/75a2b3856e90.gif

HFC 111 is all about invasion. For not only s the HFC invading the University Park, Los Angeles. There will also be an influx of fresh blood invading the title picture right away, when several high profile additions to the HFC's roster look to prove that they belong right up there: By competing against some of HFC's finest! Fresh and intriguing matches await!

Devon "Bam Bam" Bailey (19-4; 10-1 in HFC) vs Crenflow "Pimp" Dolla (14-5; HFC debut)

For the HFC Light Heavyweight Championship of the World

Without a question one of the most dominant HFC champions, Devon “Bam Bam” Bailey will put his gold on the line against an opponent, who comes with gold around the waist himself: Caged Combat Rio's light heavyweight champion, Crenflow Dolla. Devon Bailey is HFC's record 205 champion, being the only title holder, who defended this belt five times straight! He did so by virtue of his outstanding MMA oriented punching game and really heavy hands, which won him 16 out of his 19 victories by way of KO/TKO. Looking to snatch the crown out of these very hands is Crenflow “Pimp” Dolla. He boasts a nearly identical KO ratio (over 85%) and is, just like Bailey, a striker first and foremost. Albeit with the more active kicking game. On the feet he is a very worthy match for the champion. But it is questionable if he can also resist Bailey's highly active dirty boxing in the clinch. He may have the skills to do so but generally doesn't spent much time in the clinch. And Bailey may force his hands.

Cristian Tavares (15-3; 7-1 in HFC) vs Lil Wayne (50-11-2; HFC debut)

For the HFC Featherweight Championship of the World

After tasting defeat in going the distance with Vinny Hopkins twice in a row, Christian Tavares' 145er title now is under attack as well. And again a veteran has set his sights on him. Lil Wayne is debuting in HFC to fight with Christian Tavares for the HFC featherweight crown! Being a veteran with over 60 fights to his name and having held multiple titles in three different weight classes (from bantamweight to lightweight), Lil Wayne is one of the most recognizable names in the lower weight classes for sure. And despite being undersized at featherweight and certainly at lightweight, he has become one of the most capable strikers in these divisions. Well en route to become a similar recognized name is the current HFC featherweight champion Christian Tavares. But his two losses in a row have cost him a bit of his luster. Having been praised for a long time as one of the most potent up and comers and being of incredible versatility, Christian Tavares has more to defend than “just” a title in this one.

Also on the card

Lee Sang Seok (14-3; 5-1 in HFC) vs Philip "Lip" Gallagher (18-12; HFC debut)

Lightweight bout

Having won three in a row, Lee Sang Seok is on the edge of getting the nod to fight for the 155 title once more. But he has one more challenge in front of him. In the shape of yet another high level HFC debutant. Former UG lightweight champion Philip Gallagher is coming to HFC with title aspirations of his own. And a win over one the division's aces in Lee Sang Seok would definitely make a case. This is a potential eliminator fight between two fighters, who both are just a win away from becoming the top contender! And it also is a fight between a capable volume striker (Gallagher) and one of the most prolific stretchers on this level of MMA (Sang Seok).

Manny "El Dorado" Machado (31-15; 0-1 in HFC) vs George "Circle Pit President" Moshington (25-11-1; HFC debut)

Lightweight bout

Two 37 year old veterans of the game with a combined 83 fights will face off in this fight. Manny Machado will seek to bounce back from a loss in his HFC debut. But that may prove to be a tall order. For he will fight against HFC debuting George Moshington. Moshington may be as old as Machado, but it is justified to speculate that Machado has more wear and tear on him. The offhand impression is that he was just in quite a few more fights, which has to be a factor as both fighters are clearly getting up there in age. But looking at the latest results, Machado did way better, winning four out of his last five. This one is likely to come down to who has the better game plan, being all about the experience. Something that both fighters have in spades!

Too scared to fight me and then once you got the belt, leave with it. Dickhead!

lol and another example of Bjorn making up shit to suit him

^ Clearly established there I had no issue with fighting Conrad, but the date offered was an issue since I wasn't around properly for the period of time the fight was offered. What did happen however is you threw your toys out of your pram and requested a release because I wouldn't fight you on the date you wanted.

As for Boagrius leaving HFC, lack of competition in the division (Best ranked opponents were Trew who I just smashed and a Steel Penn fighter), and a desire to fight better ranked opposition. For a guy who loves calling me all sorts, and loves making a narrative I fight low ranked competition, you seem to be really upset I decided I would fight better ranked opposition rather than fight the same 2/3 people constantly and rack up an easy record.

End of the day, staying in HFC would have done nothing for me, I have a fighter in Syn, CEC, and Underground's heavy divisions already, and I haven't ever had a fighter in GAMMA. Made the most sense in terms of testing Boagrius since I would rather test him against higher ranked opposition (Without calling them out while they are way above my rank I might add) and see how well he can actually do in the game.

I have no issues with HFC, despite my past conflicts with them, and it seems to only be you who has an issue with it since you seem to be transforming into the resident SJW.

I am sympathetic to his choice and I really do not have this problem, you just chose what would be better for him.

Hello all friends!)

I'm forced to report with sadness that I close HFC.

I'll explain why: I put a lot of effort and time into HFC, I got a lot of fun and not much pride, that without experience with a minimal budget I was able to bring the organization to the top 10, of course there were managers without whose help I could not do it.

My decision to close due to the fact that I can not in recent times provide quality work for the organization, many of you are top fighters and deserve a quality organization.

I also have a lot of work in the real world, I try to develop my business and it takes all my time.

I hope each of you will treat this with more understanding.

I know and I am very glad that many fighters from the roster will be the top fighters in the world, and some even the best in the world!

Thank you everyone for being part of this movement, it was cool!

All fighters will receive a contract from my friend Jamie McKenna, the owner of the wonderful Underground organization, there you will be in safe hands!

Good luck to each of you!
