Fighter Appreciation Award

This months award goes to

Do Ho Joy (308543)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14494373316324.png

Do Ho Joy has been one of 3 NSC fighters that have 3 consecutive wins as an NSC Fighter. Of the 3 nominated he is the only one without a title as of yet and he and his manager has patiently waited and responded with loyalty to the situation with NSC owner. While waiting on top contender Artur Osinen to come back online, he choose to keep busy and potentially lose his top spot for the 155 lbs title fight this past week by fighting organizational new comer Antonio Salieri. It was a really tough fight that went all five rounds where Salieri was a tough game opponent and Joy pulled off a spit decision victory. Now still waiting on the 4/16 results of Tom Rivers vs. Gary Day fight to determine who he shall face in the title fight, I am pleased to announce that Do Ho Joy is recognized as our 1st fighter appreciation winner.

Winner receives 1 pair of NSC apparel kit from Helsinki Xtreme Fightwear as a gift as well as the personal biography done below. Its not much, but I take time to recognize great achievements and loyalty within our organization.

Do Ho Joy

13-4 Record (3-0 NSC)

Ranked 473 P4P

Randked 62 in weight class

Sponsors- None

Top Hyped Fights won- Haislan Garcia (300694) X 2, Antonio Salieri (305609).

Titles- None

Title Fights- 1, vs. Ephram Urani (304688) Loss by Dec- Extreme Fighting Association

Manager- Bloody Gutz (3074) Record 996-576-29 (3 NCs)

Born- South Korea

Base- Helsinki, Finland

Training- Secret Lab, Helsinki

NSC's top 155 lb fighter has great experience fighting and has the edge in many close battles. The 27 year old from South Korea is a world class boxer that has good wrestling and can bend like a rubber band. Entering NSC, he turned a back to back slide into a 3 fight winning streak and the verge of his 2nd title fight appearance. Joy definitely has made his mark early on in the history of NSC, and hopes to become the 1st ever champion.

Oof. What the hell is that Emelianegro fight?

Well right now `The Last Emperor` has no challengers lined up and after toying for 4 rounds with Action Jackson RISE brass doesn`t expect any takers.

Emelianegro vs Hip Hop super fight was an idea but that went away when Alex sacked him, he was picked up by an even better manager but his fight with DJ was already booked as main event.

Fedor can`t catch a break :( all hope of the First MMA wedding fell through when Jose Canseco`s manager refused to turn him gay like Carter Jose de La Cus so even if he wins and they fight they will not be sealing their love in the cage with a proper I DO message in the post-fight section :(

So Fedor is depressed and taking on 600 lbs. Simon seems like the best way to promote North Star and keep everyone busy.

Just try not to kill the poor bloke, OK. Don't think the arena has crane access if you do.

Post event - NSC 12 and 13

Brutus Leagatius wins Heavyweight Title with Decision over Colin McLauhglin.
Mclauhglin's 1st title defense did not go his way today as Leagatius was on another plane as he connected and landed at will in the 5 round fight. McLauhglin had an opportunity once he got the takedown and tried to get a quick submission, but Leagatius was ready and defended long enough to survive the round. McLauhglin never had a better chance again for the rest of the fight, even though he had that puncher's chance Leagatius kept the pressure on til the final bell.
Jim Bob McDonald wins by KO (Strikes) over Ajax Athanas in 1st rd
McDonald uses great footwork and agility to out box bullish Athanas. McDonald was precise and effective in taking out huge talent Ajax Athanas is a little less than 2 minutes. McDonald was landing powerful flush shots as Ajax never could get his footing in the fight and took enough punishment at the end to justify the intervention by the ref.
DJ Maximus head kick cemetery's Hip Hop's head wins by fantastic KO
Hop landed a variety of shots including leg kicks, but Maximus bid his time and countered nicely and violently to win by head kick KO in 34 seconds. Hip Hop was fluid and moved well landing the 1st 3 strikes, and even finishing off a combination's last hook punch before Maximus let out his response. Great fight, violent finish, fans were more than pleased with both warriors going toe to toe.
Simon Udovich use meat hammers to take out Fedor Emelianegro in 1st rd.
MMA Tycoon's largest fighter is on a 2 fight win streak as he hammered Emelianegro in 40 seconds that all started with an uppercut that nearly sent Fedor into the air, after that a right hand was all he needed to seal the deal. Emelianegro never recovered after that uppercut, but he took that and kept fighting. Udovich improves to 2-1 in the NSC.

It's almost criminal that Podcast dude is not covering this and other great orgs out there :(

I mean just take a look at some of the characters on this past card lol:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14091581529139.jpg

Proper Communist (307637)

Like, seriously nobody cares about Old Fart Orlando Diggs losing to the same guy for the 11th time already and it's not like Karter is gonna get better at sliders after 10+ years lol

Very excited that DJ Maximus is getting a title shot next :) He came sooo close at CEC a bunch of times and he is definitely up there in age.

Man, all you had to do was not get hit and he would've given himself a heart attack. He knocked you out and HE had less energy after the fight

9/10 Fedor wins that fight. Simon only has about a minute before he becomes a sitting duck lol

Win or lose, he's a fun novelty to have.

Also, the irony of a dominant fighter named Fedor doing a freak show fight i thought was funny haha

Power takes 205 title

McGuire throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Power.
Power lands a leg kick that knocks McGuire off balance momentarily.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Geordie Power.
I think Power has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.

Agnarsson gets title shot with TKO over Penn

Agnarsson cracks Penn with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Penn falls to his knees and Agnarsson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Grimur Agnarsson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hannibal Barca!

Barca will now get a date vs. Champion Nielsen

Day wins and will challenge Joy

Rivers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Day to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rivers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Day pulls down on the head and he's put Rivers to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Gary Day!

Bobo Nielsen is the new featherweight champion!

Twborg takes out Glozman!

Twborg flashes Glozman a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Glozman's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Glozman crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Twborg punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Twborg!

NSC 16 & 17 Post Fight

Harris wins by decision to take Welterweight Title

And that's the end of the fight!

I would just about give that final round to Robert Munson.
Well Harris has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
Judge Arvi Lind scores the fight for Anselmo Harris!
Judge Ben Zyskovitsi scores the fight for Anselmo Harris!
Judge Tarja Halkonen scores the fight for Anselmo Harris!

Anselmo Harris wins by unanimous decision!

Anselmo Harris is the new welterweight champion!

Harris used a critical clinch game and dirty boxing to out strike and out land the game Munson in a five round affair.

Salvador dethrones Pekkarinen in his 1st defense

And that's the end of the fight!
George Salvador comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Salvador has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.

Judge Ben Zyskovitsi scores the fight for George Salvador!
Judge Tarja Halkonen scores the fight for George Salvador!
Judge Johanna Lukiainen scores the fight for George Salvador!

George Salvador wins by unanimous decision!

George Salvador is the new middleweight champion!

A great fight with a stand up battle, but the Champion falls to the leg kicks of Salvador. Salvador landed 42 out of 66 leg strikes that seriously limited Pekkarinen as the fight continued. Pekkarinen got a takedown late and missed his opportunity for a ground finish as it was at the end of the round. No doubt Pekkarinen will want to have another shot, but for now Salvador looks forward to defending against Pave Hunt next.

Hunt continues to impress, dismantles Rayburn in stunning fashion

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/knockdown.gif

Hunt sends Rayson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hunt is motioning to the referee to let Rayson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/rocked.gif
Rayson is rocked!
Hunt lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Rayson crumples to the floor! Hunt milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pave Hunt!

Pave Hunt now 2-0 in NSC, both wins come by way of head kick KO will get his opportunity to fight for a title next when he takes on George Salvador on 5/14.

Other notable winners

Cleon Wright wins his 2nd consecutive fight after starting with a loss in NSC.

Oliver Queen wins his 2nd straight at welterweight, will get date with Champion Harris.

NSC 18: Ribbler vs Salieri (921996) Pre-Fight Notes

Bornholm vs. Po

Bornholm is 7-5 overall and is riding a 2 fight win streak at NSC. The 29 year old fighter has beaten DJ Augustus and Kenny Knight both by decision as he faces an equally dangerous opponent on his own run in the NSC with Po. Po is 7-7-1, but also with 2 wins at NSC by defeating Tyga Laxx and Eric Ashton, the latter by head kick knockout. Po is older, but the winner here will be up next for the champion. George Salvador recently won the title over Pekkarinen but will defend on 5/14 vs Pave Hunt. So whoever the champ is will get this fights winner.

Dalton vs. Harding

The undefeated Dalton is 12-0 with 9 KO's. At 31 years of age its hard to imagine he has had only 12 total fights, but he has demonstrated great championship caliber as a former 6 time Devestation World Champion in the past beating then highly ranked Soylent Green. Dalton looks to make his second NSC fight one to remember and put him up for a chance for a title. Harding will fight anyone, and even though he does not have the experience or record, he has the skills and courage to fight Dalton. At only 2-0, the 27 year old brit wants to show the world that he is ready to take out a true undefeated champion, and if he can do so in spectacular fashion may see himself high on the list to fight next for the belt at NSC.

Ribbler vs. Salieri

The main event is two highly known fighters who are looking for a fresh start in Helsinki.

Ribber was once a touted champion who at the time was 10-3 and a champion at GAMMA PROVING GROUNDS. He switched over to Cage Coliseum where he lost a title fight and the downward spiral began, going 0-1-5 in his next 6 fights. Determined to change it up, his manager staying by his side he signed on for 3 fights at NSC to see what he has left. Ribbler has 9 wins by KO, but of his losses, 6 are by decisions which is a good thing that they weren't by serious KO's, but also something he has to be wary of in leaving it in the hands of the judges. Salieri signed on last month and took a short notice fight with NSC's top lightweight Do Ho Joy who was 2-0 in the division. The fight was razor thin sharp as Joy escaped with the victory by a split decision. Salieri even in defeat was excited and knows he can win against the best. Determined to get a win streak under his belt he hopes to get another shot at Joy in the future, who fights Gary Day on 5/7 for the title. Salieri will not need to take Ribbler lightly as he has lots to prove and will look to make his mark at NSC.

NSC 19: Leagatius vs Maximus (922266) Pre-Fight Notes

Jackson vs. Morgan

Two rising stars face off with both winning their debuts at NSC. Jackson at 2-1 despatched Fernando by decision in his debut as he outworked with tremendous stamina and volume, He is a world class boxer with great wrestling abilities to help him keep the fight standing. Morgan is 10-8 and took out Byler in his debut with some brutal ground n pound that saw him land all but one of his 11 ground strikes for the KO victory. The winner here will be sitting next to Cleon Wright at the top of the division with streaks.

Singh vs. Castillo

Two heavyweights looking to go on their 2-0 streak in the division. Singh dropped his 1st fight to Ricco Torres who left NSC after his original 3 fight contract, but has since recovered by defeating former title challenger Dude Yu by decision. He will take on a former Aspire and Dignity Heavyweight Champion Ricardo Castillo. Castillo only looking at his 2nd fight in almost a year is 15-5-1 and won his debut with a crushing KO that sent Bruno Brown into hiding as his manager left and he was released from the promotion. The winner here will move up the NSC divisional ladder, as it is getting crowded at the top while we wait on Leagatius and Maximus to duke it out, and Johnny Twborg will get dibs on the winner.

Leagatius vs. Maximus Heavyweight Title

Leagatius went 3-0 at NSC and defeated 1st ever divisional champion McLauhglin by decision. He is 15-5 with 12 KO's. He is looking to defend against DJ Maximus who defeated Ricco Torres and Hip Hop to get the opportunity. A legend who just turned 37 years old, has had his ups and downs but looks to show he has grit left in his tank as he looks to win a title for the first time since he was with Aggressive Damage back in 2017. Johnny Twborg awaits the winner as there are plenty of predators in the division, so anyone going on a title defense run will definitely have their work cut out for them.

Post event - NSC 18 & 19

Salieri wins by decision over Ribbler

I've got Salieri winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.

Judge Arvi Lind scores the fight for Antonio Salieri!
Judge Tarja Halkonen scores the fight for Antonio Salieri!
Judge Marco Blurström scores the fight for Antonio Salieri!

Antonio Salieri wins by unanimous decision!

Salieri most dominate in main event match at NSC 18 as he out struck his opponent that had trouble getting his game plan in action. Salieri kicked and mixed up his strikes high and low well and when Ribbler got to the clinch he was unable to get the takedowns while taking a few nice shots from Salieri.

Bornholm gives PO a KO Head Ache

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/rocked.gif
PO is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
PO drops his hands momentarily and Bornholm needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips PO just on the top of the head. PO drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in PO - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Daniel Bornholm!

Bornholm ends a fantastic fight with a spectacular goodnight kiss and ends Po's streak. Gets a date for a title shot when Champion Salvador faces Hunt in mid May. Rest easy and gear up for war!

DJ Maximus is too much for Leagatius in a fight for the heavyweight strap

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Maximus! Leagatius is out on his feet! Maximus rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Leagatius is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Leagatius is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DJ Maximus!
DJ Maximus is the new heavyweight champion!

Maximus at 37 years old still has the ability and skills to win it all, in a short fight where Leagatius had barely gotten into a rhythm Maximus stole the show and the revolving door continues at NSC with its 3rd straight new heavyweight champion. Maximus will be looking to take on Johnny Twborg in May while Leagatius is down, but will have plenty of opportunity to get back in the picture.

Singh knocks out Castillo

Singh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Castillo can pounce on him.

Castillo throws a poor cross that misses
and Singh counters with a right hand from hell and Castillo is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yuvraj Singh!

A great fight where both fighters went toe to toe where a moment of triumph turned into defeat as Castillo look to pounce upon a floored Singh, he counters with a right hand glowing from the depths of hell. Fantastic finish by Singh and is now riding a 2 fight win streak at NSC. For Castillo, he lives another day.

NSC 22 & 23 Pre-Fight Notes

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1557582354Dhs0gns.png

Tarlac vs Cadman

Tarlac is looking for his 3rd straight NSC victory as he defeated both Gniewek and Heart by decisions. Tarlac is looking to make a case for a title shot with a win vs Cadman. Cadman is 2-1 in the NSC, with a pair of wins on either end of an ugly loss to former top contender Osinen. Cadman can push his win total here and make one step closer to a title with a dominate win over the tough Tarlac.

Miller vs Stralman

Miller is 1-1 in the NSC where he recently won via TKO strikes vs Zamora. He looks to get a streak going with a very tough opponent in Stralman who is 2-1 in the NSC and on a 2 fight win streak defeating Norris and Coutinho. Stralman has the opportunity to fight for a title if he can secure the victory, while Experiment and Agnarsson fight again after their title fight ended in a draw for the 1st 135 title.

Main Event- Power vs. Frost 205 Title Fight

Power looks to make it 4-0 in the NSC as he won the 1st light heavyweight title in NSC's history over McGuire by decision. Defeating McGuire, Escobar, and Wright he has made a name for himself and looks to continue his reign, but he will have to fend off Frost. Frost a 43 years old warrior has won 2 straight in the NSC, but is riding an amazing 7 fight win streak as he continues to turn back the clock and looks to capture his 1st title of his career, better late than never. Frost was mostly a kickboxer but has transitioned nicely to mma going 7-1. This will be an excellent title fight and should be entertaining for those wanting Power to defend and for those wanting to pull for the old guy.

Zuma vs Trowning

A heavyweight scrap with great implications as 1-0 Zuma dispatched Boston in his debut via TKO and the younger Trowning who also won his debut destroying West also by way of TKO. Zuma has great submission skills and may look to stay out of Trowning heavy hands and equalize him on the ground, while Trowning will more than likely want to add another knockout to his record. The victor moves to 2-0 in the NSC where there are great potential opponents awaiting.

Harris vs Queen 170 Title Fight

Harris will make his 1st defense of the title against Queen in this exciting match up. Harris went 3-0 and won the title after defeating Munson by decision in late April. Queen won 2 straight where he stood out as the clear #1 contender based on NSC rules. Queen also like Frost, is a 44 year old contender looking to turn back the clock and he has the tools to do it. Both fighters win mostly by decisions as of late, so we could expect a grinding war where minimal risks are taken and it could be who loses the fight of attrition 1st.

Main Event Salvador vs Hunt 185 Title Fight

Salvador 3-0 in NSC won the title vs Pekkarienen in late April and will look to defend against a great opponent in Hunt who owns 2 wins that won KOTN awards with both coming by head kicks. Salvador will need to be ready to avoid those because i'm sure it will happen at some point. Hunt is having great success and still young at only 32 years old, is looking for his 1st title since 2017, is this his redemption or will Salvador make his 1st defense.
