  1. No voting council last year. All noms and votes were community. I did the threads and tallied the votes then told mike the results. Also reminded him he didnt hand them out. He still didnt do either before i left.
  2. Mike. I already sent him all the winners before i left. He legit just has to hand then out
  3. Yeah i organized them last year but seems nobody decided to take over after i left. The plan (stated last year) was to have it during summer so its technically not late yet. I was accused of using it to boost syn fighters hype and pop for supernova so wouldn't want to do that again.
  4. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is incorrect, RISE and K-1 in Japan the biggest kicboxing leagues. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenshin_Nasukawa_vs._Takeru They just did a show with 500k PPV buys Also did a 25 million dollar gate. https://blog.awma.com/tenshin-nasukawa-and-takeru-segawa-make-martial-arts-history-with-the-match-2022/ Both Takeru and Tenshin made 2.5 Million for that fight Takeru signed a deal after that to make 750k a fight plus PPV points ONE and Glory could not touch those numbers in their wildest dreams.
  5. Dont agree on star rating swap. Why would i want fighter skill to be represented by just primaries when the skill estimator takes into account everything? Oversparred triple elite red belts would always look like a lopsided matchup to well trained guys with lower primes
  6. Yeah there was a draw of 4 each actually. Nobody did too well lol.
  7. Synchronicity Hall Of Fame Class of 2023 Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Synchronicity Hall of fame class of 2023. This is our first annual Hall Of Fame ceremony in which we honor the legendary fighters and managers of our past. Let us start our inductions! Sergiy Skylar Our first inductee is an undersized underdog from the Ukraine that became a two division champion, let’s hear a round of applause for Sergiy Skylar ladies and gents. He’s a former 3x time Synchronicity Bantamweight champion and won an Olympic Silver Medal representing syn. Shortly after losing his title in a razor close majority decision, Skylar moved up not one, not two... But THREE weight classes all the way up to Welterweight to capture the world title. He went on to be a 5x Synchronicity Welterweight champion. Known for his ultra dominant style he would constantly look to take opponents down and smother them with ground and pound. His overall syn record stands at 12-3 including 8 title wins over 2 weight classes Congratulations to Sergiy Skylar Iconic Rivalries: Yang Tao After moving up and capturing a title at 170 Skylar droped the belt in a closely contest decision to Yang Tao. He went on to dominate the next two fights in the trilogy winning 9 out of the next 10 rounds they fought. Wilder Wein The next inductees to the class of 2023 is one of the most succesful middleweights in synchronicity history. Give a round of applause for Wilder Wein! Wilder Wein is one of the few men in synchronicity history to win championships in 2 different weightclass. With 8 middleweight chanpionship wins and an additional 3 at Welterweight he stands above his peers as an 11 time world champion in one of the toughest eras the sport has seen. For everything Wilder lacked in power he made up for in sheer grit and grind, pushing opponents to the brink fight in and fight own to win 19 decisions under the SYN banner. With a 20-5-2 record in syn he joins an elite group of men (38 out of 2771) to have 20 or more wins in the promotion Congratulations to Mr. Wilder Wein, you definitely deserve this honor sir. Iconic rivalries: Ricky Rocker After he captured his 5th Middleweight championship Wein moved down to take on #1 p4p King Ricky Rocker in a dreamfight for the ages. Wein won a closely contested Majority decision to take both Rocker's P4P status and world title. The two had an immediate non title rematch that was even more controversial as this time it was a decision in Rockers favor. Unfortunately we never got the rubber match between these two men. Nick Shamrock Moving to our third inductee for the class of 2023 we have one of the most fearsome punchers in the history of the Featherweight… Everybody please welcome Nick Shamrock! Sporting a 12-6-0 record in syn many would argue that Nick Shamrock doesnt deserve to be inducted but a closer look at his resume tells you the exact opposite story. Shamrock started his career in syn rough going 3-3 to start his run. He finally broke out when he shifted his style from point fighter to devastating puncher in his finish over Dohn Jodson. He went on to win his next 7 contests all being title fights, 6 of them coming by way of stoppage. He set a new featherweight record for world title finishes while beating 3 SYN HOFers in said run and taking the #1 P4P spot (Paakea Built, Blake Green, and Manny Puno). He is by one of the best featherweights to ever grace Syn, so congratulations Mr. Nick Shamrock, a rightful recipient of this prestigious honor! Iconic Rivalries: Manny Puno These two men will forever be linked together by the 14 rounds of absolute mayham they had together. Nick Shamrock took the first contest with a 4th round TKO win over Puno. Puno eventually went on to win the 2nd and 3rd fights via decision in what many considered a passing of the torch moment. Just Whymer For our Final inductee in the Synchronicity Hall of Fame class of 2023 we have arguably the greatest light heavyweight to ever step foot in the cage. Please welcome our headlining fighter for the evening Just Whymer! With a staggering syn record of 26-14-3, Just Whyner ranks #1 for the most wins at 205 in synchronicity. Whymer was know for his slick stand up abilities, dominating opponents from the outside leading to 14 wins coming by way of (T)KO . His 10-6-1 record in title fights in also very impressive, capturing the title on 5 separate occasions and defending it 5 times. He was able to capture and defend his first championship against back to back synchronicity Hall of Famers Kassim Magufuli I V and Evil Nixon, besting them in back to back unanimous decisions. Congratulations to Mr. Just Whymer Iconic Rivalries: Simon Gustafsson Although he had a great rivalry with Kassim Magufuli I V his trilogy against Gustafsson stands apart. After winning a back and forth contest by TKO with just 17 seconds left Whymer went on to fight Gustafsson in two highly contested split decisions. Gustafsson took the second fight at SYN 900 in Whymer's final title fight before they finally settled it at SYN 911 where whymer was able to take the highly contested third fight. Billy Arseworth (74054) Not many managers are as beloved as the two time "Manager of the year" Billy Arseworth. He is easily one of the most dominant manager in the history of the game. He managed 2 all time great fighters in Evil Nixon and Kassim Magufuli I V. As of this time he has 45 World title wins in Synchronicity and ranks second all time on the Synchronicity "greatest manager of all time" rankings. he continues to dominate the Tycoon world as he most recently took home the 2022 manager of the year. Congratulations Billy Arseworth, one of the all time greats! Keyshawn Stacks Alright thats all our inductions for tonight. Thank you for coming out and we'll so you guys next year for our 2024 class. Goodnight!
