My boss told me to say well done on publishing the rankings, awesome job but it makes me sick to see that freak "The creature" Leif Olofson sat at the top of the division with my belt. He may well be on an impressive win streak and has only been defeated once but that will all change some day soon when I get my chance to step back in the cage with him. I'm coming for you Olofson!

The rematch is there whenever you want it, IF you want it?

It will be a different fight with different conditions, but the outcome will still be the same.

There is 3 reasons you cant beat me

1 im better looking then you.

2 your punches are to light.

3 theirs nothing in this world i cant tear up.

So i can assume that if Wax beats Westlund on Dec 10th and Olofson beats Gallagher on Dec 17th we have a rematch agreed ?? Underground is going to Knights Court (18000 seats) on Jan 7th and this would be a welcome addition to the card

If.... sorry, when I beat Westlund I'm happy to accept a re-match. I don't care how good looking he thinks he is, how light he thinks my punches are or if how many paper bags he can tear, I'm still gonna reclaim what's mine and walk away with the belt. Make it happen Boss.

Loke "The Laughing Agony" Westlund

I got some bad news for you Jamie, their won't be much of a fighter left of Wax after our fight. When he wakes up from his slumber inside the cage, and starts to remember things from the fight. Wax will be a scared, broken and toothless ex fighter only good for wiping spit of the canvas from other fighters.

Wax the best thing you can do right now is to sign a damn good insurance.

Hey Mr Wax, you must be proud of that boss of yours! You know what he is most skilled at, ducking! Every time he is offered a chance to see one of his special little boys like yourself step into the cage with real talent, he runs for the hills faster then Bjorn begs for more training time, oh wait, that's right, that's his other excuse, his chumps need more time in the gym we can't be doing that fighting thing! After I take out Bruce "Batman" Wayne (well if he ever accepts the dance offer that is) I can easily drop down a couple pounds and meet you, cue the excuses...

You're on dodgy ground comparing me to this Bjorn character.

What's that saying about glass houses and throwing stones? I see your boss has a roster full of fighters but only a handful brave enough to sign a contract and fight.

I can't say I've ever fought a Ladyboy before but I'm sure it can't be as difficult as my current opponents. If you want to put an end to your lack lustre career you best lay off the cakes and get yourself down a weight class. It should also give you enough time to fight some more guys as you don't seem to popular with the crowd......but then again why would you be looking like that. They come to see MMA not a circus freak show. Anyway, who cares - let's dance Marry Ellen.

I think me and doc should fight for tittle shot-Connor Brazier

Doc Dykstra is fighting for the title on December 10th but i will find a different opponent for Connor asap, i cant promise the next fight will be a title eliminator though as he is only 7th in our heavyweight rankings

"Dutch Gold" John Brophy

6-2-0 MMA, 1-1-0 KT

3-0-0 Underground

So after being robbed of a KO Of The Night award at UGD 26 where I knocked Greg Plitt out with a Superman Punch, I finally get the award for knocking out Stacker Pentacost this past weekend. I mean, I don't wanna sound like I'm a big deal. but nobody has the diverse striking that I bring to the cage.

3 people down already, and I'm looking forward to demolishing Luciano Bizarria in just over 2 weeks.

To start the year with a bang Underground will attempting to smash our attendance and event rating records, on January 7th we will be using the 18000 seater Knights Court arena and trying to book the most stacked card possible with at least 4 title fights.

I am also considering making the event PPV but dont know enough about it so i cant commit to it yet, if anybody has any experience in staging a PPV event or just understands the process your help would be greatly appreciated.

Finally thanks for getting involved in this page as its a great morale boost when things we do get positive feedback, on the flip side if you think we are slacking in any area or just plain suck then please speak up and we will consider all opinions.

Nice one guys

PPV Update

Sadly we wont be in a position to stage our first PPV on January 7th, it will 100% be happening in the near future but due to the financial risk we need more time to build our finances.

I think our current roster is strong enough to make the jump now but Undergrounds future should be the main focus, too many orgs have folded lately and i dont plan on seeing us follow suit due to something avoidable.

Rest assured Underground is healthier than ever and we will continue to push towards our goal of breaking into the top 10, the January 7th card is still going to have a stacked card that breaks our records.....it just means the fans will have to be there in person to witness the greatness !!!

UGD 35: Wax v Westlund

Your favourite up-and-coming London-based MMA organization, Underground, is back at the Camden Grounds on Saturday night for UGD 35: Wax v Westlund.

Tickets are still available, so break open the piggy bank, borrow from your mum, steal your dog’s lunch money - do whatever it takes to get you in the doors to see an action-packed night of fights.

Charlie Wax (15-4, 3-1 UGD) v Loke "Laughing Agony" Westlund (10-1, UGD Debut)

The main event will see two fiery competitors finally face off and release some of the steam that has been building in recent months. Cincinnati’s Charlie Wax has been vocal since relinquishing his Lightweight Title to Leif Olofson at our tent-pole event, UGD 25. Olofson’s countryman and teammate, Loke Westlund, was quick to step in and answer the call for battle. Westlund will be making his debut for the org after a dominant title run in VCL and a rise to title contention at GENERATION. Westlund possesses a meat-and-potatoes striking style, but one that is incredibly athletically and technically sound. It should also be noted that the Swede’s only career loss is to well-known juicer, Herger Ysengrin. Wax successfully rebounded from his title loss with a fantastic come-from-behind victory, landing a crushing overhand right in a fun FOTN contender. In fact, Wax has been a finalist for FOTN in every one of his UGD appearances, a testament to his aggressive style no matter where the fight lands.

**HW TITLE FIGHT** “Dangerous” Doc Dykstra (12-3, 6-1 UGD) v “Honey” Roy Palmer (9-4, 0-1 UGD)

The only thing separating these next two contenders from UGD gold has been a cheating opposing manager, so we’re extra proud to give the fans what they deserve in our co-main event. Doc Dykstra has been practically flawless in his UGD tenure with six finishes in his six victories, including four Knockout of the Night bonuses and one Fight of the Night bonus. The Texan loves to stay at distance, leaping in with crushing right hands and head kicks and is a dangerous opponent for a man of any size. That last bit will be key, as his opponent is a man who carries a lot of it. Standing at 6’7” and nearing 300 pounds while out of camp, cutting to 265 is just part of the game for Roy Palmer. The man may love his snack cakes and be a fan favourite on Buzz, but don’t mistake that for a weakness. Like Dykstra, all of Palmer’s wins have come by vicious stoppages. “Honey” isn’t afraid to get dirty in the clinch, however, and that may be the difference in this one.

Billy West (11-3, 4-1 UGD) v Cruz “C Dawg” White (13-5, UGD Debut)

The next fight has got a lot of people excited and is expected to be a #1 contender fight in our ultra-competitive Light Heavyweight division. Minneapolis’ Billy West has had an excellent run since jumping over from UGD’s original parent organization, UPF, with his only loss coming in a nip-and-tuck Split Decision loss to current champion, Ed Ruth. The wrestle-boxer loves to come forward with punches to set up his takedowns and brutal ground and pound. His opponent, Cruz White, is a hometown favourite making his UGD debut. The London born and bred striker has had a whirlwind of a career that has seen a number of ups and down. The former SPI: Helsinki champion and CFC title contender originally got his start in the famed GoNY tournament, a move which would eventually lead him to some controversial ties with possible gangs and a budding rap career. His unpredictable personality bleeds into the cage, as well, making him one of the most dangerous LHWs in London.

Felix Strurm (13-5, 7-3 UGD) v “Charming” Charles Richmond (19-11, 11-10 UGD)

Hometown hero, Charles Richmond, will look to move into second place on the all-time UGD appearances list in what may be his last fight for the promotion. A veteran of 30 fights, Richmond was already Hall of Fame’r and tournament champion in the Choke promotion before gracing us with his presence. The always-charming London native has been here even longer than his manager, Jamie McKenna, the UGD owner. It’s a demonstration of Richmond’s devotion to the organization, as well as his willingness to fight anyone, anywhere. Germany’s Felix Sturm has had a rough go at things in his second run for the promotion with one win in three fights, but a closer look reveals that both of his losses were to current and dominant champs of two different UGD divisions. Expect Sturm to come out guns blazing in Richmond’s possible UGD farewell.

Manuel “The Roo” La Bor (17-7-2, UGD Debut) v Karter Kinshaw (10-4, 0-1 UGD)

Opening our main card is a featured Lightweight bout between a pair of relative newcomers. Boise, Idaho’s Karter Kinshaw will look to get his first victory for the promotion and halt his current three-fight win streak, one that started after a dominating title run in the GKNY promotion. The American fighter has relied on his chin and defensive grappling in the past with his sprawl-and-brawl style, but the chin is beginning to fail him. He’ll need it as he goes toe-to-toe with an experienced New Zealand striker with over 25 fights. Making his UGD debut, Manuel La Bor comes in a veteran of the CFC, Legacy and Havoc organizations. With a granite chin and workmanlike striking, this Kiwi is a tough out for anyone. I expect a gruelling back-and-forth affair in this one.
