Energy Levels VS Training

Always keep energy above 90% when training.

I currently train every session including 2 CT's, 2 sparring and 8 whatever else im training at the time. Currently with sensational (14) cardio minimum on all my guys but I think you can get away with that at wonderful (12) cardio too.

So for example if im training an 18yo project he will train 4 def grap, 4 striking defense, 2 CT's and say 1 box spar and 1 wrestling spar a week. I always start my projects with wonderful cardio so i can pretty much use every session from the start. Also, don't spar back to back always have at least a 1 session gap.

use to be a major drop off in learning if energy was below 94% -- dont think it has changed but could of been -- this isnt with physicals though just other skills

not questioning you but I've never heard of this. can other people confirm? Just good old fact-checking.

I've never heard of this either. I do not notice any significant drop off below 94% in any case.

I mostly agree with everything that TJ just said also. Me personally, I start my fighters with minimum skill points in both Strength and Conditioning, however. The reason for this is that, while, yes starting with Wonderful Conditioning will allow you to train most things all week, it also means that a lot of skill points went into Conditioning and possibly Strength instead of the other Physicals. That is a common school of thought, but I disagree with it. I prefer to start my projects out with no points in Strength and the minimum of 10 points into Conditioning. While this does mean that, initially, my fighter will not be able to train non-stop all week, but after a mere 28 sessions he will have Wonderful or better Conditioning and all those points I spent on the other skills will mean less time training those skills up.

Strength and Conditioning are the easiest skills to raise on any fighter (even 25 year olds) because you can take supps that give performance boosts in the gains you get from training them. Neither school of thought is necessarily better than the other one, but I just think, in the long run that you will do better with those skill points spread among the other Physicals, more then by dumping a bunch of them into Strength and Conditioning.

Otherwise I agree with the statement that you should never train below 90%. Once you have at least Wonderful Conditioning you shouldn't really need to worry about that though. My fighters are usually at a minimum of Sensational Conditioning and Strength though.

I like Warwynd's approach to the spreading of points on creation. Learned it from a certain Don of the game. From my experience after 5-6 months the guy who started with minimum Conditioning will surpass the one who started with Wonderful Conditioning (I compared this with two of my projects but I didn't test their exact learning speeds).

Also I believe with Wonderful Conditioning, if you include only two CT or Sparring sessions you will end up missing at least one training session during the week. When I'm patient enough, I build their Conditioning to 13/Exceptional then start secondary training and CT's which will eventually boost their Conditioning to Sensational.

Thanks Guys,

Its bit of catch 22 really though. You need decent enough of cardio to get sessions in but i do agree if you are going say fight straight away spread the points around.
how long did it take for your projects to start seeing some high stats. iv got 2 16 year olds, and knowing now that i have infact stuffed up with creation skills and points but i love to learn.

Anyone got good feedback on training sessions which develope a range of skills. e.g. striking defence could also train boxing for example or something along those lines.
