We’re back baby this time we are going to be with this org for a long time and arnt going to be leaving anytime soon. It’s been a long ride and we are super excited to see that RISE has came this far and into the top 10 fight leagues in this game. With Unchained MMA though we plan do the same. We will have a gym that will be made soon in London so that our 345k+ fighters can keep grinding and improving. We also look to make a clothing company and maybe even a nutrition company coming in the future but we will see about that later. Right now we are staying focused on trying to make this org into the best org that it can be and grow its rep like we know we can. Thank you to everyone that has been with us through RISE and welcomed me and humble on the comeback. We hope to see tons of new fighters coming into the org and to see all these fighters grow and make this org into something big. #UnchainedMMA

We are also going to try and get in a bunch of interviews and podcasts with fighters so that everyone in the org will be able to speak out and say what they have to say. If you have any suggestions on what we can do to make this org better please PM either Humble or Me on what you have in mind. This is only the beginning. We are also on the lookout for anyone that can make us a new banner.

Unchained Podcast Episode 1 - Looking back

Unchained_Podcast_E1.jpg

“Welcome welcome to the first ever episode of the Unchained Podcast featuring one of the founders, Neon Richards, where we will look back on his managing career after such a long break. I am very excited to get this started and get these rolling, so let’s get started by welcoming Neon Richards!”

[Neon Richards walks into camera view and shakes hands with Humble before sitting down onto the guest chair]

Humble: “Welcome, Neon! How’s it feel to be back in the MMA world?”

Neon_Richards.jpg

Neon: “Feels amazing it’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally happened. And coming back and seeing all the progression that has happened since I’ve been back is amazing. I’m glad to see RISE is part of the top 10 orgs in the game and knowing that you worked so hard for it to be in that spot it’s crazy to see it actually happen. This is just the first step we came back and now have a new org and a new gym that we are going to invest a lot of time money and effort into. Can’t wait to make that staple impact on the game like I know we can.”

Humble: “You've got the confidence for it that’s for sure. Do you miss the rise brand knowing you were largely involved with it? How do you feel it affected your career?”

Neon: “The RISE brand for me was never at the same level as it did to you of course being the creator and devoting a lot of time into the org to try and make it into that top position for best orgs in the game. Being with you coming up with the name and sending out those contracts to get all those new fighters in which some went on to be champions and even into the orgs hall of fame. RISE will always have a place in my heart and I will forever remember the day that you made it and seeing how far it has come is only going to help me strive to create another org that is just as successful.”

Humble: “Those were the good days and RISE will always have a place in my heart as well. It is being well taken care of, however, and im proud to see it thriving. But, looking back before you and I both took a break from managing, who would you say your favorite fighter on your roster was? Does anybody stand out?”

Neon: “Well I have to go back to my main fighter the one that really brought a name to myself and got everyone to know me as a gm in the mma tycoon world. “The Tyrant” Thomas Kortez, the keyboard warrior that could back it up in the cage has got to be my favorite fighter of all. I’m just happy on what he has done and I will always know him for what he has done to not only his name, but mine as a manager.”

Humble: “Do you feel that you could have another fighter possibly take that mantle in the future?”

Neon: “I don’t really know if I will ever have another fighter like that again. I do hope that I will have many fighters in the future that come out to have better records but the legacy that Thomas put on buzz will forever be remembered. Everyday people in the mma tycoon community got onto buzz and could always see the roasts that Thomas brought to everyone that got in his way. At one point I’m sure people just checked buzz to see Thomas go off on people or be in another fight with Mark Tyme. He carries on a legacy that not many have been successful at. We’ve seen many people get on buzz and roast but not like Thomas Kortez did.”

Humble: “The fan favorite, the tyrant, Thomas Kortez was insane and I’m glad I was able to witness some of his fights as well. But moving on to the future, you have opened a new gym called Unchained Gym, and congrats on that. Would you like to tell the world what your plans are with this gym?”

Neon: “The gym has got some big plans coming to it. We hope to get more coaches put into the gym and open it up to the public in beautiful London and expand the unchained name. As for now it’s a work in progress just getting everything set up, but it will be opening soon and I hope that we fill and can make this gym into one of the greats as well.”

Humble: “I fully believe that you are capable of doing so. Thank you for coming here and sparing some of your time for us. We’ve run out of time for this interview unfortunately, but I hope to speak with you in another one very soon. Thank you.”

[Humble and Neon chat inaudibly as the screen fades to black, finishing off the brief pilot episode]

Unfortunately, due to school, I was only able to do the Main Event and Co-Main Event. Regardless, I hope you enjoy this preview for UMMA 1!

UMMA 1 Preview w/ Predictions

By: Humble Greco

UMMA1.jpg

Main Event

Jessy “Big Boy” Dentler (4-0) vs Allhedoes Iswin (2-0)

Super Heavyweight Bout

Coming in for our MAIN EVENT on the first ever Unchained MMA card, we have two undefeated super heavyweights that are now ready to move from the QFC to the Unchained MMA scene. In this fight, we get a classic battle of striker vs grappler, with Dentler being the striker in this bout and Iswin the grappler. Let’s view this matchup:

Although we have seen Dentler mess around with some grappling in his fights, he is going to have to try his best to stay up in this one, for one takedown could lead to a quick finish for Iswin, unless Iswin plans to do what he did in his last fight where he held his opponent on the mat for three straight rounds (which I don’t think anybody really expects to repeat) Dentler has some power to his hands and despite proving he can go the distance, I feel that he’ll need to go for an early finish to win. Nobody has really been able to test Iswin’s chin, and I’m sure Dentler is eager to try and test it himself.

Iswin is a wonderful grappler and took both of his previous opponents down to the ground with ease, and he’ll obviously need to do that again if he looks to win this fight. The ground is where Iswin feels at home, and I feel that we could see a submission victory early on in this one if Dentler allows it. The key to victory for him is activity on the ground, and we gotta hope we see more of it from him come fight night.

Somebody is going to stay undefeated at UMMA 1, and I cannot wait to find out who it is!

Prediction: Allhedoes Iswin by Submission, Round 2

Co-Main Event

Ashad “The Boat” Cae (1-0) vs Randy Smalls (0-0)

Light Heavyweight Bout

Moving on to our Co-Main Event, we’ve got two newer, popular fighters getting themselves even more out there with this bout. Ashad is the favorite heading into this one, and it’s easy to tell why. He’s already proven that he is a natural striker after finishing off his first opponent in a dominating 24 seconds. He’s gotta be feeling confident heading into this one after scoring that type of victory, especially against a fighter making his debut. BUT let’s not count Smalls out of this one. His experienced, veteran manager is in his corner for this fight, and he’s had to have helped Smalls prepare greatly in his training leading up to this event. With his knowledge and tactics, Smalls has the opportunity to turn some heads and surprise a number of people, mostly depending on his mental state in this fight. It will be a tough one for him, but we all know that he’s got to be up to the challenge. There’s not much information on these two for this fight, but here’s my prediction. Let’s see if I’m proved wrong here.

Prediction: Ashad Cae by TKO, Round 1
