The excitement is building for next weekend’s first ever Pay Per View for JAG Battle League who are stepping up to the big leagues now. There is two mouth watering events topping the bill with the 170lb and 185lb titles up for grabs. The headline event is the 170lb match between Benedetti and DIck with McConnell & Neuer duking it out for the 185lb belt.

Now let's get down to business!

Mario Benedetti Rick "The Prick" Dick

Record 14-2-0 (W-L-D) Record 12-2-0 (W-L-D)

These two animals are fairly evenly matched on paper with Benedetti having a slight advantage in boxing and MT and DIck is only slightly better at wrestling but there is not really much between them. Benedetti is the current belt holder in this class and has defended his title on two occasions since winning it back in August of this year. He is insanely flexible some of his opponents have said trying to hit him is like playing one of those ‘whack a mole’ games in the carnival with a blindfold and after drinking two bottles of whiskey! He is a strong stand up fighter and has a tendency to try to use his flexibility to dodge while taking considered potshots against his opponent he prefers to stay standing and likes to work the head and the body equally and of his fourteen wins he has won nine by way of T(KO)’s so he knows how to hit. Benedetti is not afraid of clinching either but prefers to stay at a distance.

The challenger to the throne is Rick the Prick who has 12 wins under his belt and only two losses. He has won 10 of the bouts by way of T(KO)’s and and therefore has a similar record to Benedetti in this regard. He is also known to be insanely flexible so should be interesting to see if these two warriors manage to hit each other at all on Saturday! While Rick the Prick has a similar TKO record to Benedetti they have a very different style of fighting with Rick preferring to take fights to the ground where he will tends to aim to move into better positions before pounding his opponent into oblivion.

The two different styles here should be interesting but I slightly fancy Benedetti to shade this one.

The next title fight to take place is the pairing of McConnell and Neuer who is taking a break from his professional soccer career to enter the octagon and see how he gets on.

Dalton "MC" McConnell Manuel Neuer

Record 10-3-0 (W-L-D) Record 11-4-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26b2.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/38/38w20.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20191111204229FlCgWzm.jpg

Dalton is the current holder here when he unbelievably took the title from the previously unbeatable Phol Boxaaja who had a real hot streak until losing his title recently, and then McConnell piled the misery on him when taking the title back off him shortly after he won it back! MC is a simple man and just loves punching people constantly, he doesn’t care if it’s head’s or bodies he loves punching both equally! On paper these lads are even enough except in BJJ where Neuer is miles ahead with his black belt so MC will need to be careful if this fight goes to the floor. MC definitely will want to keep this fight standing and will need to be careful in the clinch (which he is a fan of) to make sure that Neuer doesn’t successfully take him to the floor where the fight could be over very quick!

Neuer is the exact counterfoil for MC in that he is so scared of standup you would swear he had a glass jaw! He is quick so expect him to rush MC and go for immediate takedown to end this fight quick or he is in trouble. He has not thrown and punches in anger in his previous bouts and has relied on his ability as a BJJ specialist to get him his wins with 100% of his wins by submission he really is an expert ending fights this way and expect more of the same on Saturday, I hope MC has been working on his Takedown defence!

If this fight drags on MC will win but I have a sneaking suspicion that Neuer might win this one in the first round!

Honourable mention of the night has to go to the best named fighter entering the octagon on Saturday from Keith Flotence's stable and fights under the name: "A Mixed Martial Artist Fighter That Competes in MMA", can see commentars having some difficulty with that one!

Best of luck to all the fighters taking part and I will be putting odds up on the fights soon so feel free to gamble to your heart's content.

Also I’m going to make a shameless plug here for the JAG Battle Gym in London, JAG Battle Gym (4261) which has exceptional coaches and great clean facilities and fully stocked vending machines with some of the best coaches and sparring sessions so if you have fighters in London please join up if you can

Thanks

This is what I was proposing to all of the managers I spoke to over there. We take turns holding events between our org. I wanted to do it for my end of year event. But, I'll talk to them and see if we can't make something shake.

Hey Camara, can you contact me in game?

Hi, Gabe here

I designed the new belts and the new logo, I noticed the logo (having been copied on mobile, and thus compressed) is still a little pixelated.

Here is the clean version, just copy link location if you need to use it in future posts

All the best with the org and best of luck to the managers!

(19-3) "President Elect" Donald Trump: Not to worry. Just set everything up with King Epicity and as long as the fight is 3+ weeks after our last fight Humors and I will fight.

This is better decided between org owners though, once management gets involved it gets messy.

You guys set it up and let`s have some awesome events. Camp Camara is good to do for belts, no belts, etc. Again: Epicity decides that, the belt is his not ours. When he is not on heavy drugs creeping on barely legal chicks he seems like a reasonable dude with just enough IQ to be able to work with.

Good luck ! MAGA !

Massive night this weekend to round off a fantastic year for JAG Battle League which due to the great efforts of owner and the fantastic contributions of the magnificent fighters on the books has brought this fight org into the top 10 in the world. Many thanks to all the fighters and players that helped make this possible.

The last event of the year is another massive PPV event with not one, not two but THREE title bouts on the card. Expect the London Camden Conference Centre to be bursting to the seams for this festival of fighting!

The 170lbs title bout sees current champ Mario Benedetti square off to Lee Roy, 185lb title is being defended by Dalton McConnell against Valentin Saric and last but not least the 145lbs title is being defended by Brayden Point (who also by the way holds the 145lb title as well!) against Jason Arlington.

I’m going to start with the 145lbs title battle

Brayden Point "The Righteous" Jason Arlington

Record 15-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 7-1-2 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15322662702091.jpeg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15277166797724.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20191111204229FlCgWzm.jpg

This could be a tough fight for Arlington against the current champ and the man who doesn’t know how to lose ! Point is 15 wins on the bounce and the holder of two belts for JAG Battle League. He has 13 wins by (T)KO to his name with 2 wins by submission to vary things around a little bit. Analysis of Braydens past performances tend to suggest that he is more comfortable when standing rather than on the floor and this is where this fight might be interesting in that whilst Arlington has only half the number of fights under his belt compared to Point he has had 3 wins by submission and is the stronger BJJ fighter. I would suspect that Point may try to keep a bit of distance between himself and Arlington for maximum success in this fight. Point definitely loves punching the heads off opponents and tends to focus on this aspect of his ability both when standing and in the clinch and is probably least comfortable on the ground… That said he has come up against better BJJ opponents in the past and beaten them as well so he is no pushover. Buuuuut hopefully he worked on his takedown defence in the last couple of weeks for this one. Arlington has a big night ahead of him to try to take down this champ but he is no shrinking violet when it comes to dishing out a beating as he likes to soften his opponents up before trying to break their limbs when he gets them on the floor I would expect him to try to get into clinches with Point before trying to get his side control working to his benefit and finishing the fight. Might be tight but think Point has just enough to win this one but as Arlington would say himself “take pride in how far you have come and have faith in how far you’ll go”, I can see a great future for this young man.

Next title is the 170lb division pairing of Benedetti and Roy

Mario Benedetti "Hill Daddy" Lee Roy

Record 15-2-0 (W-L-D) Record 7-2-1 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39w4.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/7/7w16.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20191111204229FlCgWzm.jpg

Current champ Benedetti has ‘owned’ this division since he took the belt off Belyakov back in August 2019 and he will be hoping to carry the belt over into 2020 on Saturday when taking on Roy. On paper not much between these lads and Benedetti is a slightly better boxer but Roy shades it on the MT and Wrestling side (only just though!). Benedetti is more comfortable standing up but is a decent wrestler and can grapple on the ground when needed he is however more defensive on the ground and tends to move around a bit to try to get back to his feet rather than try to finish the fight on the ground. This is where Roy may have an advantage over the champ on paper but history doesn’t tend to suggest that Roy is keen to take fights to the ground either as in his recent fights he has done well on the ground but he has not been the one to bring the fight to the ground, he will have to change this on Saturday as I think that if he stays toe to toe with Benedetti he is in trouble. When Roy gets on the ground however is a more aggressive than Benedetti and tries to strike and sub the end the fight (more strikes than subs given his excellent boxing ability). Roy can take a hit is known to have a granite chin and he will need it on Saturday. My verdict is Benedetti

Next on the agenda is the 185 lb title.

Dalton "MC" McConnell Valentin "Tintin" Saric

Record 11-3-0 (W-L-D Record 7-2-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26b2.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15170027963346.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20191111204229FlCgWzm.jpg

MC is the current champ here when winning the belt back in September when beating Randy the Show, he has defended the belt twice since then with on of his successful defences coming against the magnificent Boxaaja (who owned this title from December 2018 to June 2019). The MC train is pretty impressive and you either have to brace yourself, or get off the tracks when it’s coming for ya! MC has 6 of his wins by way of (T)KO’s and he really knows how to punch, he does love a good clinch as he loves to get up close and dirty with his opponents however he does tend to favour punches over everything else so if Tintin is watching out for this he might have an advantage. On paper MC is the better boxer and MT fighter but Tintin is the better BJJ fighter (and substantially better in fact). MC’s most recent defeats (admittedly going back to June 2019) were by way of submissions so this might be Tintin's strategy for the night! MC will throw punches all night long so Tintin will need to watch this. Tintin has a solid chin and will need to get it ready for Saturday as it’s gonna take a pounding! Tintin has however defeated a recent opponent of MC - Neur which may give him some confidence in what how to beat MC at the weekend. Tintin in recent times has clinched up against opponents but he will need to be careful if he tries that against MC how is very comfortable in the clinch and may punish Tintin if he gets too close. If Tintin can get the fight to the canvas its’ all over for MC but I can’t see a seasoned campaigner like MC getting dragged down too easy so I’m gonna say MC slight favourite on this one.

Best of luck to all the fighters at the weekend and thanks for making JAG the great fight org that it is.

Setanta King.
