cardio-training-energy loss

So as fur as I am conserned cardio reduses the energy needed for any training session. My suggestion is change that a little bit so that cardio isnt the most importart physical anymore. So how about the higher u have a skill the less energy u loose? Maybe make it 50cardio-50xskill but i feel like the current system should change as it is by no means realistic that having good cardio will reduce my energy loss when lifting weights
