  1. I think Dave is going to train beer and chicken for his next fight. Lots of beer and chicken.
  2. I think my guy will be in the record books for fastest KO on the Island, that being 5 seconds into the first round. Too bad it was my guy that got knocked out.
  3. Dave can't wait to scrap with y'all. I was buying clothing an item or two at a time so as not to blow all my money. Logged in to find he is on his last fresh set of clothing and the once full stores are sold out. Heh. "But considering our luck We'll get busted by the cops Instead of sex we'll go to jail Another lesson learned and failed" ("The Ballad Of Wilhelm Fink" by Green Day)
  4. Love the clothes Deuce, thanks for sponsoring Dave "The Destroyer" Makeshian and saving my ass. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/6/6b2.jpg
  5. Deuce7, you are the MAN!!!! I just joined Cozad's and will do it right this time. Thanks for the help!
  6. So I paid $750 to be at the gym, but got booted since that put me under $200. $750 burned. I had switched to part time, so when I got booted, it didn't auto switch to full time work, Another $200 gone. Can't sign up to a new gym so my guy is just sitting there. From #2 p4p, #1 HW to who knows what now...pretty discouraging.
  7. Set it to part time last night as I thought I'd get the $200 at the same time as the training slots changed. My goal was to do it before paying the weekly gym fees.
  8. Actually, I just got booted from the gym since I only have $39. So now I can't even train it seems. I went part time last night in order to have the $200 required to stay at the gym. Can someone explain what happened please? You do get $200 when going part time correct? [edit] As per the wiki: "Part time training (they will get an income of $200 and 6 training slots per week)" So how come I didn't get the $200?
  9. I paid the $50 for the basic gym, then switched ($750) as the basic gym was dirty and overcrowded and I didn't want my morale to drop. Should have just stuck at Cozads or whatever. Now I went part time, and I'll probably end up going back to the first gym anyways when my cash runs out. Live and learn.
  10. That's why I was confused when I saw a guy with around $3500 a few days in, which to me, is rich for the Island considering the time frame. I imagine he got say, $300 from winning a fight, and two $750 sponsors or something but how did companies afford to give him that much?
  11. How are some guys supposed to compete with rich fighters on the Island? I ask because my guy can barely afford to train (I guess I should have been part time from the start, at a cheap gym?) while other fighters have thousands of dollars. I saw a guy with over $3000 and only one fight under his belt. Where did all that cash come from? Insane sponsorship or something? I have two sponsors; Ace of Spades paid me a nice amount but my other one, Atlantis, only gave a discount on supplements. If someone could let me know how to get a few grand quickly, it would be very helpful.
  12. I just tossed some of those coins into your hat.
  13. I'm all for a million dollar give away, but I think 10 x $100,000 or 5 x $200,000 or something like that would be better.
