  1. Someone has to be the heel, otherwise nobody buys a ticket.
  2. If there was a decision of the night award Khalifman would win it every time.
  3. The F stands for footlong. You can figure out the rest.
  4. This discussion brought up a question I've always had: What's the difference between quality levels? Since you guys have posted some 159 info, I decided to check my fighters that are using 151 or 156 Proof Recovery. 8 were training, the other two were resting or working cardio so I just checked the 8. I figured results should be slightly below the 159. All fighters started at 100% energy, for the Monday AM session 1/4/10. 1. 19 yr old, Remarkable+, using 151, Takedowns (2) - used up 1.20% energy. 2. 19 yr old, Remarkable++, using 151, Striking Def (3) - used up 1.14% energy. 3. 19 yr old, Remarkable++, using 156, Def Grap (3) - used up 1.17% energy. 4. 19 yr old, Exceptional--, using 156, Def Grap (3) - used up 1.13% energy. 5. 19 yr old, Remarkable+, using 156, Takedown Def (1) - used up 1.19% energy. 6. 19 yr old, Wonderful-, using 156, Takedown Def (3) - used up 1.17% energy. 7. 18 yr old, Wonderful+, using 156, Punch Tech (3) - used up 1.12% energy. 8. 18 yr old, Remarkable+, using 156, Striking Def (4) - used up 1.14% energy. So there is a little variation. My guess is going from 18 to 19 adds about .02% energy cost for each session. I would also suggest there may be a small random factor. Still, in my entirely unscientific comparison the difference between 151, 156 and 159 is pretty small. Maybe .02% per session. I might start a new thread on this to accumulate data.
  5. Ok, so you help fighters by giving them sponsorship cash. That's fine. I help fighters by having them spend less cash. A lot of them are the same people you mention. Low level fighters, 0-0 fighters, and so on. Maybe they take your money and buy my product with it.
  6. If you want to prove your argument, you should. Prove the current system is flawed by destroying it. Otherwise it just sounds like you want to protect your current pricing and profit level. Do it for one month. Do it for one day.
  7. There are 100 nutrition companies, of all sizes. There seems to be plenty of room.
  8. I just find it interesting that the people complaining are those with 158-9 product out. But hey, let's continue. The order limit of 2500/month and 3-day delivery for out of city rules prevent the "a few companies dominate everything" concern Rollins had. There are more companies now than there were three months ago. The other argument (if prices were low before, no one would have released a 152) is certainly not true. How did Blitzkrieg release a 159 just recently? Prices are low now, but they released their product. Moving costs up will not do anything but up the price. However, it'll still be cost + 10 wherever you go. And if you want to fix selling price too, well, it'll be a nice tycoon game then won't it? (Manage your own government-regulated public utility!) ******** If Nonstop, Blitzkrieg, Gorilla, etc., really want to prove that the current situation is unacceptable there is an easy way to do it. Lower all your prices to $10, and see what happens.
  9. Maybe no one thought of it? When 152 was the best thing, no one was selling even half-decent product for low prices. It wasn't even considered. q130 was going for $50-75. But if you want to point to something for the high quality stuff of the last month or so, look at the manager to manager loans. Any company can have $100k at start now. That's a q153 product right there, and it only requires $3k in weekly sales to cover the payments. So now there's q153+ all over, and so prices are low. Did you expect to get monopoly profits forever?
  10. The main argument that has been posted on this thread is that new nutrition companies would be harmed by having established nutrition companies selling at lower prices. How can there be more nutrition companies now than three months ago if that is the case? Lower prices are not a recent thing. Also, let's remember what Mike wrote in the summary section of the create-a-company screen. The world of MMA Tycoon is functioning just fine without the company you plan to set up. If you create a company, it is in no way guaranteed to succeed! In fact, somebody is already doing exactly what you plan to do and is probably doing it quite well. You will have to prove to the world that your company is valuable. You will have to do something original and effective. You will have to get through a difficult beginning and plan sensibly. If you think you can do that, good luck and welcome to the world of company ownership within MMA Tycoon. There are no promises in the nutrition business, and nothing is forever.
  11. So the scientists spend $160k to tell me the secret is adding more alcohol. Go figure. Proof Supplements in Sydney now offers 156 Proof Recovery. Now I could charge $50-$125 for this, but where's the fun in that? So I'm selling it for $20. 156 quality for $20 is, I think, the best price/performance worldwide. Also, we have some 151 remaining, which is discounted to $10. The 130 is now only $5. Proof of Quality will be on the page shortly, so highstreet it over to Sydney and take a look. 3 day delivery outside of Sydney.
  12. Just wanted to thank everyone who has purchased 151 Proof Recovery from Proof Supplements. Over 5000 bottles have been sold - was it the 151 quality or the $20 price that brought so many buyers? Probably both. I am hopeful that by end of month I'll be releasing a new product that offers an even better price/performance ratio. In the meantime, there are about 1000 bottles of the 151 waiting for purchase at: http://www.mmatycoon.com/nutritionpublic.php?ncid=338 So buy some if you have the chance - for the cost of one week in an elite gym, you could buy enough 151 for a year!
  13. As soon as someone uses the product, it'll be evident whether it is good or not.
  14. Would I do that? What would all the people selling 156 for $100+ do?
