This has recently been a decent discussion on the improvement forums and we would like to get your opinion in a little more detail to see if the masses would like to see this improvement. Let us know what you think.

We understand some want a complete game engine overhaul or a third training session ect. While these would be good, they are a larger project that maybe awhile before the come. Something like the knee/elbow improvements is a quick fix and would enhance the game. Now i know we are going to get the negative nancys on here, but lets try to focus on improvements not hindering.

Knees are already strong enough in the clinch imo, just not effective in isolation because that's not how knees work in MMA.

I would say yes to any improvement, I think the question only becomes interesting if you put different improvements in a poll and ask which one most people want.

Knees AND elbows are widely considered useless in the clinch compared to punches - which creates a weird, unreal environment where guys are slugging it out in the clinch like it's Frye vs. Takayama every time out. IRL punches are shit in the clinch.

or avoid Clinchwork training and Muay thai sparring like the plague, just to keep points from spilling over into those skills.

when I get the chance, I always say out loud that making knees and elbows more effective than punches in the clinch should be the first thing to do regarding the fight engine.

Not so much that they're useless in the clinch as they're not better enough that you sacrifice other skills for them -- what's weird and unreal is we've got guys who are superstar K-1 fighters with Olympic tier wrestling who couldn't throw a knee to save their lives.

actually knees will beat punches in a clinch if there elite and the other guy has elite punches .I like to see the option of throwing elbows knees outside the clinch They could be like combos they dont land that often  but when they do they do damage
