Striking Masters 5 (932697)

Preview & Predictions

What we need to know about that event first? There are a lot of different new faces who have a big chance to win, record doesn’t matter (first time ever).

MAIN CARD – IMPORTANT FIGHTS

Piger Whok – 3-1 in kickboxing - is the man who can easy be named as a striking master. He won 3 times (3 KO’s) in a row in the organization and lost only once, last time in the ring by unanimous decision with Mick Green who was 1-0 in Kickboxing at the time. He is wonderful in Muay Thai and his level in striking game is really high.

Wei Peng is a fighter who is 1-1 in kickboxing and was fighting once in the organisation when he was beaten by Mick Green by majority decision. The fight was really, really close and after all most of the people thought about a draw or win for Peng but the judges had a different opinion. Since this time Peng was fighting with one more guyEmeritus Forge in Amserdam KT who was 0-1-1 in kiboxing at the time and Peng knocked him out at 0:40 of the first round. Everyone who love fast and powerful war must see this fight.

Favourite - Whok

Jory is a definitely on big hype. He is the guy who knocked out two guys in first round and his record is 2-0 in kikboxing in Striking Masters. After beaten Arlovsky and Gorce he is going to test his skills with the Robert Brownie Jr who clearly is the guy who is a good opponent for him and that could be a big step for a first title fight in Striking Masters history. Brownie Jr is 1-1 in kickboxing and Striking Masters – one win by decision with Tonissaar and lost by decision to Bisping.

Favourite - Rosewarne

Abramo Silva vs Mike Tyson Fury - MAIN EVENT

Abramo Silva, Frank Branch is a one of the most dangerous fighter in Striking Masters. He is 3-1 one in the org (2 wins by KO, 1 decision). He finished Marques, Quick and Misipati. Lost only to Maui. Fury is a great boxer who knocked out Ueda in his pro debut. That could be a fast fight and anyone can win that contest.

Favourite - Silva

MAIN CARD – IMPORTANT FIGHTS

145 Lbs

Piger Whok's Clinch game throws off Peng in a truly dominant fashion taking the fight on all scorecards.

Piger Whok by Decision

50-45!

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w12.jpg

Piger wanted to fight in the clinch and Peng wanted to keep a distance. Two different styles of Stand up clashed, but Peng's ability to keep a distance and break the clinch was no match for the now 4-1 Whok. Piger advanced on Peng all night and landed several shots from all angles either by punches, elbows, knees high or low. Piger successfully controlled 5 of 7 clinch attempts as Peng had no answer. Credit to Peng for being a tough SOB, as he took the punishment all in vain.

205 Lbs

Jory Rosewarne v Robert Brownie Jr

Rosewarne ends Brownie Jr's night with fantastic KO at 1:55 of the 1st Rd.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14964391959005.png

A fight that got all the fans on their feet as a back and forth battle where both warriors went toe to toe until one was out. Rosewarne seemed to have more technical strategy and great footwork as he was able to out duel the game Brownie Jr. The fight started quick with some aggressive punches and missed combinations, but it wouldn't take long before the shots started to land. Rosewarne landed the heavier power shots which cut open Brownie Jr, and then it was like a switch that set him off as he walked down Rosewarne trying to answer. Brownie Jr gets caught with a left and falls, he immediately gets up but is not all there and a massive right hand ends the fight. Both fighters had high landing percentages as the fight rocked a 100% rating by the fans.

265+

Abramo Silva vs Mike Tyson Fury - MAIN EVENT

Fury's game plan troubles Silva, Silva weathers the storm to put down Fury twice, fails to answer the count.

Abramo Silva TKO's Mike Tyson Fury in Rd 2

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15742040702353.gif

Mike Tyson Fury seemed to want to wear down Silva against the ropes in the Clinch, but Silva dished some of his own out as Tyson couldn't produce the results. In the 2nd round both fighters face off at striking distance and went kick for kick, and punch for punch until Fury became a little too aggressive and out of control missing big strikes and there was Silva with the power in the counter to the temple sending Fury down. Fury gets back up, but he is a kitten in a Tiger den as Silva sends him crashing down with an uppercut. Fury fighting to stand can't reach the count and the referee calls a stop to the contest by TKO.

With the victory Abramo Silva moved to 4-1 in KT in Striking Masters, but sadly he signed with Madhouse MMA after the bout.

Other Notable Victories for the Future of SM

"Boy" George Michael Bisping (351762) Defeats Groce by Spinning Backfist, improves to 2-0 KT @ 185 Lbs in SM. Hopes to get a new contract soon.

Bane "Big Rig" Darwin (353024) wins by KO against Fumiaki. At only 19, SM may want to re-sign this big prospect for another couple of fights in its shallow division.

"The Oroville Outlaw" Denzil J Kenny (353125) KO's Vanorden with a series of cracks to win his 1st KT fight. Another 19 yr old prospect, SM needs to bring back the young ones!

Stay Tuned for Big Fight Card announcement!

Striking Masters next top prospect: Dru Quick

BIO:

Quick was told hed never leave the hood unless he became a rapper or an athlete. After a disastrous first career as Lil Quicky, Dru realized he could probably use his 265 lb, Mike Tyson esque frame to knock some dudes out. Yeah, that probably should have been his first thought.

SMAnnouncers.jpg

Mark Blaze: Well what an event Striking Masters 6 turned out to be, I am Mark Blaze and alongside me is Derek Stryker and we are here to breakdown what just happened.

Derek Stryker: That is exactly right my good man and holy smokes it turned out to be an easy night for the judges with only two fights managing to go to the distance.

Mark Blaze: We were LIVE from New York City for sixth installment of Striking Masters and we could not have asked for a more explosive start to night when KJ Foster took on "The Last Stander" Isadore James in the Lightweight division. It only lasted 25 seconds before Isadore James was able to turn the lights out on Foster.

Derek Stryker: Isadore James looked great in his Striking Masters debut and straight away he nailed Foster with a beautiful leaping left hand which hurt Foster who to his credit tried to clinch once he was hurt, but James was having none of it. He shook him off and went straight back to work. Foster tried to avoid shots but ended up walking straight into a BIG right hand which sent him to the floor.

Mark Blaze: To Fosters credit, he did manage to beat the 10 count but unfortunately for him James was ready to go in for the kill.

Derek Stryker: Foster not only got back to his feet , he tried to fight his way out of trouble but James cought him with a devestating hook which sent Foster face first to the floor and that was the end of his night. A vicious Knockout win for Isadore James.

Mark Blaze: A Vicious Knockout indeed, the next fight saw two Heavyweights making their Competitive debuts as Peter Andrei Arlovski took on Dave "Davan" Donnovan. This one may not have been as quick as the opening bout but it didn't last too much longer.

Derek Stryker: The VERY first punch of the fight dropped Donnovan as Arlovski slipped a Jab - Cross and countered with a HUGE right hand. Donnovan got back to his feet but the damage was already showing. Donnovan then found himself in Arlovski's clinch and that was nothing but bad news for Davan.

Mark Blaze: Bad news indeed, Arlovski was able hurt Donnavan with some stiff punches and once he was able to create enough space he hit something straight out of Street Fighter.

Derek Stryker: Sagat would have been impressed with Arlovski as he cracked the chin of Donnovan with a leaping upper cut. I thought it was over right there and then but somehow Donnovan managed to get himself to his feet before then 10 count but he was clearly rocked and Arlovski was able to take full advantage of it with a lead left hook which sent Donnovan crashing to the floor, out cold, Peter Andre Arolovski your winner 57 seconds into the first round.

Mark Blaze: Impressive stuff from the debutant, another man making his Striking Masters debut was Arjen Robin Van Persie, he took on Andre Groce who was looking to earn his first victory after losing his first two fights.

Derek Stryker: Unfortunately for Groce, his losing streak extends to three as ARVP was able to do most of his work from the clinch as he went to work with some nasty shots to the body and some stiff shots which sent Groce's head snapping back.

Mark Blaze: Groce was able to make it to Round 2 but the end came when ARVP created enough space to nail an Uppercut from hell which sent Groce down for the count.

Derek Stryker: A devestating shot and Groce showed his heart as he tried to fight his way to his feet but ended up face planting into the canvas and the referee waved this one off 38 seconds in Round 2, Arjen Robin Van Persie the winner via Technical Knock Out.

Mark Blaze: Next up was a Heavyweight battle between "Iron" Mike Tyson Fury versus Tafa "Mutant" Misipati, this one was another bout which was contested mainly in the Clinch.

Derek Stryker: That's right Mark, another battle from the Clinch which quickly turned into a one sided beat down as Fury was able to use his Strength to dominate. Fury went searching for the Knockout but Misipati showed how tough he is and when we arrived in Round 3, you could see that Fury had to change his game plan as he started to gas out.

Mark Blaze: Ironically the more cautious approach worked out for Fury as when he was forced to pick his shots, he picked the right one which brought an end to the night for Misipati.

Derek Stryker: I thought that Fury may have gassed himself out going for the Knockout, but he proved us wrong when he continued to the Leaping Uppercut trend of the night and "Iron" Mike found himself back in the win column.

Mark Blaze: "Iron" Mike Tyson Fury your winner in Round 3 via Technical Knockout. NEXT, it was time for the MAIN CARD and first up was a Welterweight bout between Raymon "Ronnnie" Dekkers and Thomas Hearn. Both men were making their Striking Masters debut and what did you make of this one ?

Derek Stryker: This was the first fight to go the distance and it was a fight which I feel Thomas Hearn lost due his game plan. Hearn was doing well on the outside , landing Punches and Kicks to head and body and he seemed to be doing well. Then, he decided to continuously try and Clinch with Dekkers. When they did Clinch, Dekkers was able to get the better of him.

Mark Blaze: Dekkers was able to land more shots in the Clinch and ultimately that is what impressed the Judges as they scored it 30-27 across the board.

Derek Stryker: This is a fight that I would like to see run back because I want to see how this one would play out if Hearn was to stay on the outside and pick his shot instead of insisting on being in the clinch. I really feel this decision cost Hearn a win in his debut. Raymon "Ronnie" Dekkers your winner here via Unanimous Decision.

Mark Blaze: Next up was a bout in the Feathweight Division which saw Viktor Vasylchenko take on Serious Dark, Vasylchenko was looking to remain undefeated as Dark seeked a debut victory.

Derek Stryker: This one was another fight which I would like to see a rematch but further down the line. It was a very back and forward fight as both fighters were able to land from the outside. It was competitive until Vasylchenko decided to bring this battle to the clinch. Once he did that, it was all one way traffic.

Mark Blaze: Vasylchenko landed every single Punch he threw from the Clinch as Serious Dark struggled to keep up. Vasylchenko just did not let Dark get a chance to catch is breath. This was more than enough as the Judges awarded the fight to Viktor Vasylchenko via Unanimous Decision.

Derek Stryker: Nathan Morris versus "The Oroville Outlaw" Denzil J Kenny was up next as both men put their undefeated Striking Masters records on the line.

Mark Blaze: And after two Decisions in a row, we were treated to a beautiful Knockout. Similar to many of our fights earlier in the night, this one was supposed to take place in the Clinch ... well that is going by the Nathan Morris game plan.

Derek Stryker: He tried to get this fight to the Clinch, so much so that it cost him big time. Morris was unsuccessful in all his Clinch attempts and Denzil J Kenny made him pay for each one. Kenny landed vicious shots to head and to the body as Morris came forward. A beautiful Liver Shot hurt Morris and Kenny followed that up with a Right and a Left to the temple, this sent Morris to the ground.

Mark Blaze: Morris was able to beat the count, but he charged forward again looking for the Clinch and this time he would pay the price.

Derek Stryker: And pay the price he did, as Morris rushed forward he rushed straight into a HUGE Overhand right which landed flush on the jaw and that Knocked Morris out cold. An impressive victory for the Oroville Outlaw, Denzil J Kenny your winner by Round 1 Knockout.

Mark Blaze: Our Co-Main Event was up next in the Light Heavyweight Division when "The Warlord" Jory Rosewarne looked to move his Striking Masters record to 4-0 as he went one on one with Dennis "The Dream" Dentler.

Derek Stryker: The Warlord has looked like a Champion in the making, he has been so impressive in his previous three Striking Masters fights, winning all of them by First Round Knockout. Could Dennis Dentler be the first man to beat him, or could he even be the first man to make it to the second round.

Mark Blaze: That question was answered TWENTY SIX seconds into Round 1 as The Warlord continued his dominance in the Light Heavyweight Division.

Derek Stryker: The first strike of the fight dropped Dentler as Rosewarne landed a beautiful left hand right on the chin. Dentler got straight back to his feet, but he did not remain their long. Dentler tried to land but Rosewarne was able to plant his feet and nail a three piece combination which Knocked Dentler out COLD!

Mark Blaze: A battered and bloodied Dentler was helped to his feet but he may NEVER be the same again after that one. "The Warlord" Jory Rosewarne your winner by Knockout twenty six seconds into Round 1. Then it was time for the MAIN EVENT, which saw Kyle "Trial By Style" Kovingten took on Thom "Lung Lung" Tharrier and this one was an interesting bout which saw Kovingten give up a nearly 100 lbs in weight.

Derek Stryker: What a show Kovingten put on, a 100 lbs disadvantage and he was able to still walk away with the victory. Kovingten was cut from the very first strike Tharrier landed as the the Power difference quickly showed. But the Speed advantage became evident as Kovingten began to get in and out , constantly landing shots before he worked his way into the Clinch. From here, it was one way traffic as Kovingten began to damage Tharrier with Uppercuts and vicious Body Shots.

Mark Blaze: To Tharrier's credit, he continued to battle on until Round 3 when he knew he needed a Stoppage to salvage this victory and he came forward looking to land that big shot.

Derek Stryker: That he did, Tharrier was down 2 rounds to Nil going into the final round and he was looking for that Game Changing Shot but as he looking for that, he walked straight into a beautiful Head Kick which dropped him to the canvas. Lung Lung was able to get back to his feet but he did not remain there long as Kovingten stunned him again and as Tharrier fell against the ropes, he bounced right into a leaping Lead Hook and that was all she wrote.

Mark Blaze: Kyle "Trial By Style" Kovingten the winner by Knockout in Round 3. What a night Striking Masters 6 turned out to be, so many awesome fights, so many beautiful knockouts, I can NOT wait for our next event which takes place Live from New York City as SM-1 presents Striking Masters 7. We will have the Breakdown for this card later on in the week, but for myself and Derek Stryker ... Goodnight & Goodbye!!!

Interview with "The Last Stander" Isadore James (354203)

15691705531343.png

Place: Sacramento, CA

Interviewer: Jake

Jake: Hi, Isadore!

Isadore: Hey man, whats good.

Jake: Can I name you new 'Best Striker in the World'?

Isadore: Pssh, not quite yet. Let me win a couple belts and a few more fights, then we'll talk. I may be the best, but I've got to earn that title.

Jake: What is the secret of your success?

Isadore: Hard work, genetics and the right teachers. You've gotta be born for this, live this, and want this man.

Jake: Have you got advice for young people who want to train Kickboxing?

Isadore: Find a gym, get some cardio, bulk up a little. If you can handle that you might have a shot. Find a coach, or a class. Stick with it, thats the key - If you get your ass kicked some other kid, and you feel like quitting, thats the make or break moment. Get back in there, get better, then kick their ass.

Jake: What about healthy lifestyle? Is this important for you?

Isadore: Haha! Part of the job, I drill sparring a few times a week, keep cardio and strength training in check, running, biking, hitting the bag - Thats all outside camp mind you. You treat your body like you treat any other factor of life - keep it in check - And you will reap the rewards.

Jake: So, are you ready to be a future Striking Masters Champion?

Isadore: Tune in and find out.

Jake: Thanks, mate. Good luck!

Isadore: Thanks very much.

"I told everybody I wasn't playing games this time around. The belt is...home...where it belongs!

Tayu is a great fighter and his manager is a real stand-up guy, I love them both, but man, when it's time to throw down, it's time to throw down...and the way we fight...somebody's going down!

Last night it was Tayu, and I plan to hold onto this here hardware for a bit...who's next?"

So what's going on with this? Is this dead? Roman has been on, but I haven't gotten a response to anything in a while and there's been days upon days in between logins. Shinobi, his assistant, has now been gone since 5/3. There are no events set up, but no word on what's going on and the entire roster is just sitting there stagnating...?

Anybody know anything???

This is my absolute last time dealing with Roman. I've tried to be nice and help him out here and there, he has opened up at least 3 different orgs up since I've become a member and its a reoccurring pattern. I'm sorry I even tried to help him at this point. There are some managers on here that seem to like starting up orgs and run them for about a month or so and just disappear. Liam Davidson is another one that just starts stuff up and disappear. I would advise most people to avoid both from now on.

It happens. It takes a team or a one man army. One man army's tend to burnout. If you can max out staff at an org, communicate and all chip away when you can, makes life easier.

Speaking of that; I need a team at Danzai. If the 350k KT fighters can be patient I can organize KT events for them over here. Will be running some tournaments in the future with VIP and large pools of in game cash rewards when I can find a reliable tournament host.
