Monsieur.Camara Posted June 9, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 9, 2019 Here is our breakdown on the 8 fighters participating in our 205 Grand Prix : vs Miro Tynkkynen (4-0) : This amazing wrestler is undefeated and he was next in line for the title fight before the former champ decided to take a break from fighting. To many experts Miro Tynkkynen would have been easily a 3:1 favorite over the former champ due to his fighting style as well as having a much more seasoned management team. We get to see if he can beat the rest of the field in the 8-man Grand Prix. He drew a tough first round opponent as his first fight too ! Denis "Hurricane" Mamaev (6-2): This tough Russian is one of the best boxers in the 340k bracket. He needs to hurt Tynkkynen early and look for the KO fast or the Finn will just take him apart via his superior wrestling. This really comes down to who can impose their fighting style. He is a superior boxer-wrestler who relies on his heavy hands to absolutely wreck his opponent. All his 10 fights have ended in a KO ! Fred Jones was on his way to fighting KT but changed his mind in order to challenge the former champ, who then went on a hiatus. This fight ahould not need the judges to be decided. Managed by the great (yet underrated) Harry Bagofdonuts he is the dark horse of this 8-man tournament. At only 20 years old he already has 9 KO`s to his name and he meets Jason Knight in the first round of this amazing tourney. Jason Knight actually has a better boxing pedigree than Sol and has only lost to the absolute elite in Venom, Mamaev and Hopkins. All long reigning champs or challengers. This is going to be another standup war but our money is on, Prediction: Fitzsimmons by 3-round decision. vs "Big Salami 2.0" Giampaolo Turturro (12-6) vs "The Devil" Tony Riot (8-4): Giampaolo Turturro did great on The Island and gathered an incredible fan base. His style is well known, a pure grappler that will look for the first opportunity to take it to the ground and twist a limb. The problem with that strategy is "The Devil" also brings a purple belt to the table and 7 submissions. To his advantage, Tony Riot he can also decapitate you with his Strong Muay Thai. Prediction: Riot KO (Head Kick) , 2nd Round. And there you have it fans !
