You can read the press conference for Dominance 49 in there.

What will happen tomorrow? Will Dustin Douglas continue his reign of terror, or will he be destroyed by the hottest fighter in MMA right now?

Dominance 49 – Douglas vs. Hess

"The Giant With Attitude" Jon Hess vs. "Rasta Lion" Dustin Douglas – 265lbs SUPERFIGHT

Hess’ mouth got him into this fight and he got the Lion to take the bait. Now we all eagerly await to see if Hess can walk the walk and we will find out if the “Rasta Lion” has got Hess in his head for this fight. The man needs no introduction, Jon Hess, he has knocked out 9 opponents in a row on his way to capturing the Dominance title. An accomplished KT fighter back in the day, he transitioned to MMA to fight the biggest names and he is now facing the biggest name currently going. Douglas is a KO machine, 12 of his last 13 wins are via KO and he has shot to the #1 spot in almost every ranking possible. Douglas is 10 years the elder of Hess and they are very similar style of fighters with a well-rounded and deadly stand up game. Both have chins carved from diamond and are very tough to put away. Douglas has proved himself over and over again and yet he still has his haters, Hess chief among them. It will be a good fight but I don’t see it going the distance one of them will be put away and I have a feeling that Douglas is old and it’s his time to pass on the torch to Hess, the future. Although if Douglas once again prevails I wouldn’t be surprised and have a feeling these two may meet again in the future.

Prediction: Hess via KO round 3

Damien "ToXic" Sepultra vs. Bo Juggernaut – 265lbs

Another fight with the big men of MMA. Former Dominance 256lbs Champion, Sepultra, looks to rise again and fight for the title. He has been very vocal in his bid to get another title fight and his manager has had some strong words to say to Dominance owner about receiving another title shot. He also has stated at a press conference that Bo is his ‘stepping stone’ towards a fight with reiging 265 champion, Jon Hess. Juggernaut is in a similar situation as his last loss came to Hess for the belt but he is still in a position to get himself on track for another title shot. Bo has taken a more relaxed approach to this fight, he missed a press conference as he was getting a tan on a beach and porking up on some ribs and beer. Both men are very hard hitters with 26 (T)KO wins between them. Juggernaut may be the better boxer, but Sepultra has the better ground game. Will he look to use his ground game tonight? I feel that Sepultra will mix up his striking and his grappling and eventually score a victory via TKO in round 2 after wearing his opponent down.

Prediction: Sepultra via TKO round 2

Parmalee Sackett vs. Tonton Hong – 205lbs TITILE FIGHT

The only title fight on this epic card is for the Dominance 205 Title, currently held by Parmalee Sackett. He has built himself a successful career due to his great boxing skill and the power he possesses in his fists. Sackett and Hong have been very respectful to each other in the build up to this fight, with both men just wanting to be recognised for their achievements rather than building up bad blood between the two. Hong is also very skilled in each area and has made his name feared at 205 due to his boxing skills also. Worth noting is that Hong has a black belt in BJJ Both men prefer to stand and both have equal skills standing up. I feel that Sackett will pull out the W due to his experience fighting the better guys.

Prediction: Sackett via UD

"Tovarich" John Travoltavich vs. "Shape Eyes" Samart Payakaroon – 205lbs

Another fight at 205 sees rising star Travoltavich face off against experienced wrestling specialist, Payakaroon. Travoltavich has some deadly stand up skills and he blends his kicks and his punches very well. He is a training partner of Jon Hess but he is taking a quieter route to the top. Payakaroon’s striking game is still a work in progress but he does have some very crafty ground skills. The way for him to win this fight is to get the fight to the floor. These two have fought once before and it was Payakaroon that took the fight into the clinch and made Travoltavich tap out and taste the only loss of his career so far. He will be eager to avenge that loss as he has improved leaps and bounds since then, Travoltavich has got two wins since then and he will look to improve that to 3 come this evening. I feel that he will.

Prediction: Travoltavich via TKO round 2

"The Cock Fighter" Jorge Washengtoneo Bandairrezz vs. Brandon Hale – 170lbs

Both men have been quiet in the build-up to this fight preferring to leave the limelight to the main event and hone their skills in preparation. Bandairrezz is a former champion for Dominance at 170lbs and he has shown some well-rounded skills during his time fighting for Dominance. Most of his wins come from decision as he looks to wear opponents down in the clinch, adding in the occasional takedown here and there. Hale himself was the first 170lbs champion for Dominance, defending the title 4 times before losing it. Since losing it he has had his eye on nothing but regaining the title. He wins mainly using his excellent boxing skills and he uses his great combination of speed and power to overwhelm his opponents. I feel that Hale will take this fight as he seems to have faced better opposition and have better finishing power.

Prediction: Hale via KO

Dean "The Bromley Bad Boy" Wakefield vs. Jack Hoffman – 170lbs

Wakefiled has expressed his remorse in losing his last fight and he has vowed to leave the cage a winner. Wakefield likes a good ol’ brawl and it shows as he had picked up 9 (T)KO wins but when he cant get the finish he falters and he gets finished himself. He certainly has good skills, but it’s putting them together that is holding him back. The man who will be stepping into the cage with him is Jack Hoffman, he has some flashy KO’s on his record; spinning back fists, superman punches, he has KO power as 11 of his wins are (T)KO. His fault lies in his chin as it has failed him on more than 1 occasion, 5 to be precise. He’s been shown to wilt under constant pressure of strikes and his chin hasn’t held up. Against a guy like Wakefield that’s a bad sign indeed. I expect Wakefield to get the victory with his hard-nosed attitude to fighting.

Prediction: Wakefield via KO round 1

Nice write up wolf but Travoltavich is a dead man once he steps foot into the cage with Payakaroon once again. Only chance he has at making his way out of the cage is if Hess can manage to take a break from eating kittens back stage, and carry Travoltavich lifeless body out of the cage ;)

Maybe if he stopped filling his lungs with dangerous (and illegal!) marijuana smoke and started huffing gasoline like a real man he'd actually have the lung capacity to fight Hess.

Tonton Hong:

Most people didn't think I could win. I guess I proved you guys wrong. Oh, and hats off to Parmalee Sackett that guy hits like a brick. It's a pleasure being in the ring with you.
