  1. BJJ and a bit of Muay Thai since my gym offers that, too. No intent on doing any amateur fights, just a fun hobby and a valuable skill.
  2. IFC7 - WAR GAMES Welcome everyone to IFC7 – WAR GAMES in Hard Knocks Arena on The Island, Saturday, July 15th! We are featuring 10 amazing matches. First three events of the night are Bantamweight matches, the first being between McHough and Pacheco; two fighters who are both 3 and 1. McHough being a remarkable muay thai fighter with two TKO’s and a proficient wrestler to boot. Whereas Pacheco is a Brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu who has had no trouble translating that skill into a submission in an MMA match. Will the BJJ experience be enough to even out his poor striking game? Next event is between Bell and Obata. Bell is a Respectable wrestler with a Brown Belt in BJJ, undefeated with 4 wins, 3 from submissions in the first round! Obata, an undefeated 3 and 0 fighter on the other hand is a superb muay thai fighter who has used his strong wrestling background to keep his fights standing, controlling from both distance and within the clinch. Neither fighter will want to compromise on where they want the fight to go in a round that will for sure be a cult classic! Last from the Bantamweights is Jacobs vs. Verhoeven! This is another striker vs. grappling match. Both fighters are coming off of two losses in a row, both hungry to win representing their style! Up next in the Lightweight match is Destructon Man vs. The Savage Samaritan. Two wonderful grapplers with differing means to finish off opponents, this one is sure to be anyone’s game! In the first Heavyweight match of the night is between Stiffy and Kruger. Two humongous fighters coming off of a loss. Stiffy is a superb boxer, whereas Kruger is a remarkable muay thai fighter. Both fighters have taken their wins from brutal TKOs, so it is sure to be lights out for one of the two! In the first Light Heavyweight match of the night is two well rounded fighters, North vs. Donderson! Both should be ready to take it to each other in any position given their diversity of skills! In the Welterweight match of the night is Push, a 1 and 1 grappling style fighter vs. Schreave, an 0 and 1 Muay Thai fighter hungry for his first professional victory! Schreave won’t have to worry about being knocked out via strikes in this match, so this will be a test of his ability to avoid Push’s submission based game! The second Light Heavyweight match of the night is between two great up and coming boxers, Manchinha and Jones. Manchinha used to harvest shark teeth with his bare hands, and has had no trouble using them to achieve two wins. Jones, while being a great boxer in his own right, also has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Sink or swim, this fight is sure to make a splash! In another Heavyweight fight, we have Braithwaite making his professional MMA debut against Lee. Braithwaite is a Purple belt in BJJ, and a proficient Muay Thai fighter. Lee on the other hand, is a towering hulk of a man and a remarkable wrestler. Lee recovered from being knocked out in his debut and wants to return the favor to this newcomer! Finally, in another Light Heavyweight match we have Downdin making his MMA debut against Maximus. Downdin is said to be a remarkable Muay Thai fighter, and so is Maximus. Maximus is coming off of two losses, but has a respectable wrestling background and is hoping to bring it the newcomer despite his past shortcomings. Both are sure to be hungry for a victory, and hungry means dangerous!

  5. Hello, just joined and tossed in about 10 bucks for that 90 day VIP. The short: I want to set up a plan for sustainable training program while managing both fighter energy and finances. Any advice? I have only used the Los Angeles location for my fighters so far, in a gym that is 500 a week. I assume if I can take on 3 fights a week, I can earn that back through fighting. If this is unfeasible, how else can I keep my fighters at this gym? How can I ensure my fighters get adequate rest on a consistent basis?
