philofthefuture Posted August 7, 2018 Report Share Posted August 7, 2018 Off the top of my head, since we're going strong with our recent creation tourneys and I see that a lot of managers are into tournaments. I'd like to see a "veterans tournament" wherein fighters below 260k (or 280k) ID with below 2000 P4P ranking go on a league type structure. At least 8 men round robin will do (or 2 group round robin with 5 fighters each) then final four will go on to fight in a playoff bracket. This will be for the goal of old fighters going back to the limelight before they retire. Can be a comeback tournament for forgotten fighters or a boost for old fighters who can't seem to find their way up the rankings. A possible twist would be in that they should train in 1 gym (or not) and with enough activity on smack talk and back stories we got ourselves a great storyline. Would be great to have this one but I'm not sure if we have enough fighters that qualify to the criteria and managers that are interested. PS: Need an org to handle this too if ever. There is a high chance though that these fighters are signed by orgs so maybe some convincing for release to org owners will be required if ever.
