popart Posted October 30, 2019 Report Share Posted October 30, 2019 Hey all, Seems to me that there is a massive need for middle tier open ID orgs, particularly with the recent closings of NSC and Empire. I'd like to see if we can get a team together and offer something to middle ground open ID fighters. I would open one myself but I don't have the time to oversee all functions of an org and I don't have any experience working for an org. However, I would be more than happy to just recruit or match make, with a team around me. Unless you like losing money or have a lot of loyalty, it's never going to be successful. I really hope we can bring these out, but the game is really restricted ID or PPV. The reason I never executed my "Bum Fights" idea was because almost all self respecting managers don't keep guys with poor hiddens and bad records, so i'd be dealing mostly with noobs, which is always risky. Short contracts for sure. still, if something like that is desireable to the community, and I can feasibly not lose money on it, i'd be happy to do so. Any other ideas for orgs, i'm all ears. The other option is a feeder org for one of the big fish, and hope that they'll finance it. I don't think that's what people want, though. Whatever the community wants, i'm open to doing, so long as I have some people to help out. Or, if someone more experienced wants to start one, I will gladly help. Alfred Posted October 30, 2019 Report Share Posted October 30, 2019 I've made decent money with both an open weight unrestricted org and a semi open weight iD restricted org. My mistake with the main org before was having too many events. You can make money with a maximum of 2 events or week. More than that and you need to offer very small contracts (10/10 Max) which would be fine for low ranked fighters. The last org I made was something of an experiment to see if I could make money with the leftovers not wanted by other orgs.
