MADNESS 28 "Sogrin vs Broad"

Prelims Preview

40b27.jpg Vs 35w8.jpg

Eric "Blade" Brooks Daniel "Bruiser" Mikkasan

(1-0-0) (3-1-0)

Brooklyn, USA Bromley, UK

Kicking the preliminary card off is a Light Heavyweight bout with two guys looking to put themselves on the map at 205. Eric Brooks only has One Pro fight but it was an impressive start as he ended Yorgan De Romero's Night with a one punch KO in the first round of there QFC circuit match. As for Mikkasan he carries a respected 3-1 pro record with his only loss coming in his last fight, which was his Madness debut. Now Daniel looks to earn his first Win here as he welcomes the newcomer Brooks to the MAD Cage.

10b7.jpg Vs 15609725464425.jpg

Ricardo Milos Chip "The Scoop" Nickel

(2-1-0) (2-1-0)

Sao Paulo, Brazil Miami, USA

Now we head to the Middleweight division as we will be treated with a Strikers showdown. These are two bright prospects looking to position themselves into some big matches in the near future. Ricardo is 1-1 at Madness, 2-1 overall, his only loss is two the event headliner Konstantin Sogrin. Milos is coming off a vicious KO victory though over Janis Blums and is looking to keep the ball rolling. Chip Nickel Was a star even before he signed his Madness MMA contract, the former freelance Journalist turned pro fighter made a successful debut here with a one punch KO victory over Marcus Hagler. I expect this to be a huge test for both of these talented 185er's and the winner will surely have a well deserved W.

15498550357933.jpeg Vs 38w2.jpg

Hiroshima"Ground Zero" Nagasaki John "The Psycho" Gibson

(2-1-1) (2-2-0)

Kyoto, Japan Sydney, Australia

Next up back to Light Heavyweight where two guys meet who are currently going in the opposite direction. Nagasaki is on a two fight winning streak, and the former League of Madness Contestant has done so in dominant fashion with two straight first round KO's. As for John Gibson he looked like he would surely be fighting for the belt early in his career winning his first two fights at Madness MMA, but since then he has dropped two straight all be it they where well contested decision losses it has still been a bit disappointing for "The Psycho".

37b31.jpg Vs 15064985134473.jpg

"Happy" Happier Happiest Jason Carter

(4-2-0) (2-1-0)

Happy, UK New York City, USA

Moving on we see two more exciting Middleweights looking make a mark. Happier has been action packed in his two Madness fights winning them both by Unanimous Decision and taking home "Fight of the Night" Honors in them as well. Meanwhile Jason Carter is also 2-0 at MMMA his route has been a little more destructive though as they both ended in round one, in fact his last fight was all of 11 seconds as he obliterated Ilpo Pallero with a One punch KO.

15b1.jpg Vs 13w1.jpg

Xmus Jaxon Flaxon Waxon Paavo Sienipesu

(3-3-0) (3-3-0)

Pittsburgh, USA Salo, Finland

In the Feature Prelim fight we will see yet another 205 pound bout when two of the more experienced Madness fighters square off. Waxon had his two fight winning streak snapped at the hands Caloggero Turturro at Fright Night 17. The former League of Madness personality is looking to get back to his winning ways and expect him to look for another finish as well. In the opposite corner Paavo has snapped a two fight loosing streak with a KO Victory over Roundhouse Luke, which also earned his first Performance bonus of his career. Both of these guys have heavy hands only Xmus prefers to land his bombs from a ground position while Sienipesu likes to stand and bang.

Should be a excellent start to a great event a preview for the Main Card will arrive shortly.

Cheers!!!

The Lightweight Title is on the line this weekend.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15233351583990.png vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14957755079067.png

Pinero Chai Olyn Seran

(4-0-0) (4-1-0)

The Champion looks to make his first title defense against a formidable challenger in Olyn Seran. These lads are managed by two well known Gents, (At least for me anyway) so rest assure there gonna be ready for a war.

Chai: A former KT fighter whom made a smooth transition and holds a perfect 4-0 MMA record. Chai is Muay Thai Specialist and has only been taken to one decision in his career. Pinero Captured the Lightweight Title at Madness Insanity 15 with a 3rd round KO over Southern Goon, the fight also garnered his second "Fight of the Night" bonus. A former New York Golden Gloves champion has came along way since his early beginnings as a crack dealer in Yonkers.

Seran: is on a hot streak as of late winning four straight fights, this coming after a loss in his debut to Cung Wo Par. It should be noted as well that Olyn has managed to win these fights quite impressively showing that he is one dangerous fighter where ever the fight goes. "The Conjurer" Has split his last four fights all by finish but two of them by way of one punch KO and the other two via Submission. He just seems to be toying with his opponents as of late.

Key's to Victory: Chai is the better striker so he will look for openings and keep his distance as he tends to do in his fights anyway. As for Seran he has showed both ground and stand-up skills so look for him to give it go on the feet but if things start to get ugly for him he can always rely on clinch game and try to take the fight to the mat.Pinero has a strong opponent in his title capturing fight against Southern Goon but i believe Olyn is gonna be on another level and will be a great test, they both will be tested in this one.

Who takes it The Champion Pinero Chai or the Challenger Olyn Seran????

14957755079067.png def 15233351583990.png via 1rst round Submission (Triangele)

Congrats to the New Lightweight Champion Olyn Seran, he exploited the champ for the first time in his career. Lets be honest though Pinero Chai will be back and still posses possibly the most dangerous Stand-up in the division. Back to the gym for both of these warriors.

In other News i want to welcome three of are newest fighters to the Organization. (And yes there has been more and your all very praised for signing)

First off are biggest signing, since Slash Slingin the one and only Alex Ferreria who will be fighting in the Heavyweight Division.

14505198565277.png

Alex is Coming to us from a well respected org and was there Heavyweight Champion. I expect real big things from Mr. Ferreira!

Also not quite as big a name but still a force to be wreckend with is undefeated Welterweight Barnito Mustacho.

19w17.jpg

"El Senor Vorpal Kickassso" as he is known, will join a jam packed 170 pound division and looks to be a threat for that belt that will be awarded really soon.

And Finally another undefeated prospect that is fighting at Lightweight we will see Vladimir Kosmanov fight inside the Madness Cage real soon.

15345492352113.gif

Vladimir is 2-0 with 2 first round Knock Outs. The 20 year old Russian adds more depth and a little violence to the 155 pound class!

This Preview is brought to you by Andy Down

Undercard

135lb Fight

Demarcus Jackson vs Yoshihiro Koyama

Kicking us off this evening on our double title fight night is Jackson vs Koyama. Both fighters are coming off losses, look for them to come out aggressive to try and impress Madness owner Butch and get back in the rankings. I imagine Jackson will take his standup advantage and test Koyama's chin, while Koyama wants to put that brown belt to good use.

155lb Fight

Seung Kwan Choi Vs Metta WorldDestruction

Our second fight of the night should help get the juices flowing, with Madness veteran Choi looking to make statement bounceback win fellow standup fighter WorldDestruction. Both are known to have heavy hands, most of Chos finishes coming in the first round, while Metta put away his first opponent who has a chin made of rock. Look for an early finish from these aggressive fighters.

145lb Fight

George Patton vs Cung Wo Par

Just like these next fighters, looks like Butch is trying to keep the crowd on their feet as well because this could end quickly. In our next bout we have George Patton Vs Cung Wo Par, two stand up fighters trying to make a name for themselves. You might not want to blink, because when these two connect, one of them might go down. All of their finishes come swiftly in the first round, Par has his eyes set on another 'KO of the Night' Bonus.

170lb Fight

Teddy Taylor vs Primo Volto

Up next we have two submission specialists, Taylor vs Volto. Taylor appears to be a more aggressive fighter on the ground, but Volto would argue hes the more confident one with his quicker submissions. He'll want to prove why he has the better BJJ belt

185lb Fight

Shamus Murphy vs Sabotage Rex

Up next we have a slugfest between two up and comers in the middleweight division, Shamus Murphy and Sabatoage 'The Pussy Melter' Rex. These two young fighters have been training standup most of their early careers, and it shows with their recent fights both finishing their opponents under a minute, and they will look to do the same again tonight.

Main Card

185lb Fight

Bruce Jenkins vs Nicolas Osmo

For the next bout of the night, we've got another middleweight fight, but this time on the ground. Red hot Osmo will look to keep it rolling against recent newcomer Jenkins who is also coming off of a submission win. Osmo will look to keep his undefeated streak going, maybe call out the proceeding fighters to get his name in the title mix if he.

185lb Title Fight

(Champ)Malik El Shabazz vs Pate Mfer

A title fight that isn't a main or co-main? Must be one heck of an event! We've got undefeated Malik defending his middleweight title aginst fellow undefeated Pate Mfer. I'm expecting sparks to fly in this one, with two undefeated young stars on the rise on a big show, I think their managers may push the pace to really put their fighter on the map with a lights out finish.

Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi Final

Worf Son Of vs Boris Krylov

Up next are two future stars of the organization, Worf Son of Mogh vs Boris Krylov. Worf will look to keep his undefeated streak going and keep an eye out on the winner of the co-main event as the winners of this and the next fight will go to fight for the vacant title. But he is going to have his hands full against Boris who is managed by by former #1 manager Jake Fury who will look to use those heavy hands and test that solid chin of Worf.

Co-Main Event
Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi Final

Mankar Camoran Vs Anthony Rodgers

In our co-main event, we've got two young heavyweights, but don't let their age fool you as they are managed by respectively former #1 and #4 managers. Camoran will look to keep his three win streak going and try to expose Rodgers ground game that hasnt been seen yet. Rodgers has vicious KO power and will look to catch Camoran trying to rush in for the takedown and stay undefeated.

Main Event
145lb Title Fight

DAngelo Hawkins vs (Champ)DeShawn West

For our main event, we've got a good one in DeShawn defending his belt against DAngelo Hawkins. West is a heavy handed machine, running through his opponents all in the first round, and hes looking to do the same tonight as he's defending his belt for the first time against submission specialist DAngelo Hawkins. West knows Hawkins chin has been cracked before, but if he recovers will he respect his BJJ belt and look to keep it standing? I expect a quick finish with Hawkins trying desperately to get this to the ground where he shines, or West by one of his ferocious hands.

Madness Fright Night 21

Main and Co-Main Event "Preview"

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/18/18w21.jpg Vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15672623741239.png

Obama Filth (3-1-0) Kron Gracie (3-2-0)

The evenings Co-Main event will be a Featherweight bout And one of these young gents could very well position there self for a #1 contender fight next. Obam "The" Filth comes from Kenya, USA which is small village in Texas i believe and has a 2-1 record at Madness MMA, 3-1 overall. Filth disposed of Aiden Steve his last time out, dropping some vicious Bombs on his falling foe which all started with a nasty Straight Left that sent him to the canvas. Obama is primarily a striker but i would expect he has some ground game, and he will need it in this one. Kron Gracie is 3-2 at Madness MMA and he simply fights the best of the best in the division with wins over Hassildor, Furry and Gorgon Patriot thi Rio de Janeiro native is always a threat. Gracie is a Good wrestler and holds a Brown Belt in BJJ currently, all three of his victories have been by way of Submission. This is gonna be a great scrap between two 20 year old prospects, i hate that one of them will end up on the loosing side but that's the way she goes!

Antonio Nagashima(5-1-0) Peter Petersson (7-1-0)

In are Main event we will head to the Heavyweight Division with two former undefeated prospects that are both looking to get back on track and ultimately get back in title contention. Nagashima entered the Heavyweight title Tournament with a target on his back as he was the #1 seed for Block A. He had a great start beating his Opening round opponent and earning a Performance bonus in the process. He unfortunately fell short in the Semi Finals against eventual Block A winner Mankar Camoran loosing by Unanimous Decision. As for Petersson he had a fairly similar run in the HW tourny winning his opening round fight then loosing in the Semi Finals to Anthony Rodgers. Petersson has a lengthy resume of Knock Outs as he has managed to earn a (T)KO in each of his 7 victories with only one of those bouts making it out of the first round. Nagashima has a more balanced attack and has proven he can finish the fight on the ground or on the Feet, he also has gone the distance all be it in a loosing effort. This fight is key for both of these guys as the Heavyweight Title Tournament is nearing it's end we will crown a new champion very soon.

The Current Heavyweight Title picture has some very strong contenders involved starting with the Tournament Finalist as Mankar Camoran will meet Boris Krylov for the belt. As for the next contender it is pretty obvious that newly signed Alex Ferreria has the hype and credentials to be the next guy in line, he will have to beat the dangerous striker Anthony Rodgers to do so though. Then we have a couple guys whom are both making names for themselves set to face one another as Olli Lindholm meets Demir Kocak. Now just add in Petersson and Nagashima plus Worf Son Of and we got quite a field of Heavyweights vying for the top spot here at Madness MMA.

Cheers all and good luck to all the fighters!!!

Looking forward to this Weekends event a nice one form start to finish, filled with interesting fights and Personalities. The Madness "Fighter of the Year" Mohammed Kahn defends his Light Heavyweight Strap for a second time against his stiffest competition to date in the Vicious striker and "KO Artist of the Year" Joao Andrade. In are second title fight of the evening will be Bernie Sanders who is set to make his first Bantamweight Title defense against Qfc Tournament (possibly a Multi).

Another fight i am stoked for is between Joe Davis and League of Madness Alum Luke Davidson In what could very well be a Title Eliminator. So many other names on this one so keep an eye out for the Preview this weekend. The ole Asshat Douche McBaggins may be here in time to cover this asskicking fiasco.

Also want to hype up a fighter who will be returning to the Madness Cage soon, i feel its great timing considering his all out war with Kahn. If you haven't heard of him yet, trust me you will when he returns. Whom you say Ralph McGuire who has been in an intense training camp in the wake of his League of Madness Finale defeat.
