bjornmma1
I was looking over the current top 10 p4p, as I could not really remember any huge KO`s this year at the top level. Turns out that the top 10 p4p has the following record this year: 101-27-4 Out of those 101 wins, they scored 39 stoppages. That it is not that terrible is mainly thanks to two men: Puno (77,78% of his wins by stoppage in 2017) and Defoe ( 76,92% of his wins by stoppage in 2017). Without those two, the percentace would look way worse. The total percentage of stoppage wins for the top guys would then not be close to 39%, but would be a very poor 27,85%... So a big thank you from my part to Puno and Defoe for all the high level entertainment!

Puno lands with a right and another and another! Joestar is in big trouble! Puno lands again and this time it's lights out for Joestar! A quality knockout there for Puno. Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kajun Puno! --------------------- De Gaul is holding his hands too far apart here. Puno throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! De Gaul is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot! Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kajun Puno! --------------------- Puno lands an uppercut, right on the button! Curran tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kajun Puno! --------------------- Zuma tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Puno counters with a right hand from hell and Zuma is out cold! A vicious knockout! Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kajun Puno! --------------------- Puno ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Turpin out cold! The fight is over! Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kajun Puno!

GBK16
Since the Defore vs Verama fight is the only valid nomination (Can't nominate yourself), I'm throwing in some more before Voting poll go up Kajun Puno vs Jordi Joestar http://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=866811 Puno avenges the loss he suffered at the end of 2016 with a KO after a back and forth battle over the beginning of the fight. Snow Man vs Dante Boudain http://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=899703 Boudain was on a hell of a winning run in Madness MMA, but found himself hitting a brick wall in Snow Man as he dominated Boudain in his favoured clinch position to end his run. Evil Nixon vs Grigol Pandahammer http://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=888767 The 3rd fight between these two and personally my favourite. Pandahammer dominates the first 3 rounds, and even rocks Nixon in the 4th to look like he is on his way to a win either by Knockout or Decision. Then Nixon scores a flash Knockout from out of nowhere to earn the win and send shockwaves throughout the arena.
