bjornmma1
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/144688237210gd6xc.jpg NY Fight Nights used to be one of the best ID-orgs at the time and its succes was mainly based on a few stable pillars: 1) loyal managers 2) hype team (posters, write-ups, blog,...) 3) passion for the game Running a full time org is not an option for me anymore, due to a lack of time and also commitment to be honest. However, I have always said that I would come up with a fun special tournament from time to time when I could. The NYFN legends creation tournament was a great succes and provided a fun experience for all managers involved and even for those on the sidelines. The rules for signups/invitations and the tournament have been determined, but will be announced later this week. For now, I am just happy to tease you with the name of the tournament. The announcement poster is a custom design by Mr. Roger Kint and as always a true piece of art.We have made package deal for the tournament, so any further designs will all be by the hand of the master! Without any further ado, I am proud to hereby show off the tournament announcement as a teaser.....

Alfred
Yeah right. Good luck with your little elitist non inclusive gathering of "so called" top managers. I'm sure it'll be just what the game needs /sarcasm. I didn't want to join in anyway. Unless the entry rules are somehow open so as I could join in which case disregard everything I said and of course I would absolutely LOVE a spot in your tournament old bean. 3
Marky
Do a ground fighting tournament so some people would actually experience that side of the game as well...
thb
This sounds like a breath of fresh air, something the game really needs right now. Can't wait to read more about it

JakeF
Nice idea, but there are only 12 fighters in the game to fit the David criteria, good luck getting 8 of them 1

bjornmma1
Only had a couple of signups via PM, so will have to pull the plug out. Very dissapointing, as I hoped to bring some fun and activity back to the game with this one.
KingEpicity
It's no secret I dislike you very much but this game needs all the events it can get. You should/should have revised the critea to fit a much larger pool of fighters.
Rambo
Don't think it's a great idea to feature a tournament that will highlight one of the biggest engine flaws in the game when lighter wc take on heavier wc. It'd be like David vs Goliath if David was on EPO and Goliath was in a gimp suit.

Davids would have fought Davids and Goliaths would also only have fought their own `sort`, as can be read in the rules.
The1rstSaint
Top 1000 pfp honestly may be the more reasonable route to go. It is hard enough to get a creation tournament. Great idea though i would be interested if it is 1000 pfp,
imcool
Ye, I like the format, but the fighter pool was way too shallow.

Great idea though i would be interested if it is 1000 pfp, Anyone who is interested can copy the format and run it with a lower p4p limit. I personally do not care though about running such an open tournament, as it would then lose its attraction to me. But I am just a sentimental old fart. 1
Rambo
Tournaments these days are less for established fighters unless the prize is ridiculously large, like 10 million, and even then it'll take a while to fill up. Creation tournaments are easiest to organize imo.
