Standup commentary (KO/TKO)

Recommended Posts

Please submit your standup commentary in this thread. Read the commentary guidelines thread before submitting your entries. Thanks.

Notes

- Don't mention cuts in your commentary. Cuts are worked out seperately from this type of commentary.

- Please keep it relatively short. Try and keep it down to about 3 lines max, when you're typing it into the forum box.

- Make sure your submission fits in with the tactics. Make it a KO by punch OR knee OR head kick etc... Don't do a punch, then a flying knee, then an elbow because the manager might not have set them to do those things. The only real exception is "punch combo". I don't mind slipping in the odd low kick to that. It might not be 100% accurate towards tactics but it's close enough :)

- No counters please. Just one attacker at a time. The counters work a bit differently.

here's some things that I feel are missing from the commentary ^^

Joe Rogan style:

Ya... it looks like he's developing a mouse under his (right/left) eye

It looks like someone's bleeding.... yup its __________

He's got some blood trickling out of his nose now, but it doesn't look to be affecting him too much/ he might have trouble breathing through his nose now

Greak strike! Looks like he's cut/bleeding under the (right/left) eye / forehead

Wow! _______ just cracked him with a _______!

something about a guy getting cracked and losing his mouthguard

Wow! what an impact! (body slam)

Mike Goldberg style:

that shin dug right into the meat of the thigh

His ribs are looking really raw from all those blows

I'll think of more later... i'm not expecting these to go in word for word.. but you know what i'm gettin at

Some Michael "The Voice" Schiavello for you guys.

It's the big Kabosh! Goodnight Irene!

He was laid out on his back faster than Jenna Jameson in front of a camera.

Missed with such ferocity he almost uppercut a bird!

Connects with a hard body shot that sends the belly button to the back.

He is getting lit up more than fourth of July fireworks.

He's scoring more than Tommy Lee at a boat party.

A female groupie would have a better chance picking up backstage at an Elton John concert than this guy has of winning this fight.

I just set up a Myspace Page for this guy under the name ‘Man Who Doesn’t Jab’ – he’s already got 40 friends.

He's going to have to pull a Wynona Ryder and steal the round.

He's been on his back more times than my ex-girlfriend...which is a lot.

If punches were people...He'd Be China!!

He's Throwing more strikes than a bowling alley.

He's wearing more leather than the village people.

He has taken more hits than a Cheech and Chong movie.
