I predicted him to lose in the last round as well, and he ended up winning that in the first round. To be honest, this is a fight I am a huge underdog in, and if I do somehow manage to win it is a contender for Upset of the Year given not only the manager difference, but also the skill difference between the fighters.

I think your guy has better changes than you think. You can win it, if you land few great shots at beginning. At 205 fighter that gets energy advantage at beginning is usually winner.. Your guy has weaknesses, but you still got ok changes to take this.

Even 150cm Pulkkinen was able to strike with Sacket before he gassed.

You are either underestimating your own fighter or trying to keep the pressure off. Yes, Barn Sackett is an elite manager and his fighter seems better, but your guy is lighter and has good ko power as well. You are certainly not out of this fight yet. Enjoy being the underdog, that's what I did in the tournament so far with Dickie:) I actually beat his 155lbs fighter in the first round. Anything can happen, all you need is some luck.

Before we get to our featured fighters of the evening I would like to echo the words of Hetfield and say this has been one hell of a great tourney and even though the semi final event blew the roof off the joint the finals will be even more amazing!! I can imagine we will destroy the event rating enjoyed tonight and once again light it up on August 1st!!! Now without any further adieu, here is to 2 of tonight's big winners...

Well folks that was a real nail biter oh my good golly!! I had a gameplan going into this one, and let me tell you I followed it to a T and Charles Grace just kept coming!! Much respect goes out from my camp to his on an amazing fight. Grace, even though you are named after some has been of a Canadian lumberjack boy you gave me one of the toughest fights of my career! Now where do we go from here eh? Back during the early stages of this event as preparations were being made the name of a couple fighters were mentioned as possible favorites, and one name I kept hearing was Nolan Sackett, a man who I have been chasing now for close to one full year!! Well boy the time has come for you to stop hiding from me and meet me in the middle of the cage!! I say we make this one worth even more then just a tourney win, I know management may not be of the same opinion however in what will easily be the biggest fight in the history of this company, seeing a pair of Insanity's own do battle for the right to claim all that Mad Cash, what do you say Champ, because I say we headline this history making event by throwing down for the...

Wow, how can one possibly follow that up...I know how, there is this guy I keep hearing flapping his gums all over the place and even though he has shown some skill, he simply can not match up with my will and determination. Today I went to battle against what could have been my toughest challenge and man I gotta tell you, he threw everything at me but the kitchen sink but I found a way to win, it wasn't pretty but I found a way to win, just like I will in the final against Dickie Dirty, hell who in there right mind likes to be called a dirty dickie, that's just wrong on so many different levels!! This will be a good fight, but it will be one that I will come through on top again!! Hey Dicky, I hear your manager is scurred of my main man Louie is this true?? I hear he is already looking for an excuse to back out of this one, well guess what, there is no backing out, there is no excuses there is only time to finish this off!! Hope you get your training time in boy cuz I am coming for you! And when we meet, you wont know what hit you and you will be wishing you ducked out of the semis!!

Dickie "The Dirt" Dirty

Tell your manager that he is a bit childish Mr. Gracie. Does he have nothing better to do then to think that I am scared of him?! I had my fingers crossed the entire time that you would win, so that I would be facing him in the finals. When the tournament started, I messaged your manager and said that I looked forward to meeting him in the finals, so you should tell him to check his mailbox before talking shit.

I am not happy with my semi-final and I hope to give the fans a far better show in the finals. When we meet in the octagon, it won't be pretty either as I'm going to dismantle you . Calling yourself a Gracie when you are not even really related to them is just sick. I'll gladly toy with you during the fight to show how useless you are. Eat your vegetables, eat and train well and show up to fight or you've in for your worst evening ever.

Insanity’s Mad Cash Tournament

THE FINALS

Live from University Park in Los Angeles!

In association with DC Unrivaled!

http://i.gyazo.com/ea635f8e2b2f1c5aa583755e32422041.png

Our next fight is the finals of the Lightweight Mad Cash tournament as Mateus Gracie takes on Dickie “The Dirt” Dirty for the grand prize!

Mateus Gracie is currently on a 6 fight winning streak, and in the last round of the tournament defeated Chad Didion via Unanimous Decision. Gracie showed impressive striking in that fight, as while he was only able to get the fight down once, he used that time well to grind his opponent down and dominate him from striking range following that. He holds a slight height advantage, but it is clear he will be looking to get this fight to the ground, and if he can he should dominate from then on.

Dickie Dirty meanwhile is in a 10 fight winning streak, and 5-0 under his current manager. Mainly known as a Decision specialist, he has 2 (T)KO and 3 Submission wins also to show he does occasionally take the risk of going for a finish. His main advantage in this bout is his striking, and he will be desperate to avoid the takedown in this bout, as if it hits the ground, he will be in real danger of being finished, but standing, he should be able to score the points to win the rounds.

Overall, I wouldn’t be surprised to see either fighter win, but the big factor in this is whether it hits the ground. If it does, Gracie should be able to win the fight, if not at least win the round. But don’t underestimate Dirty’s grappling, as he can survive quite well, and will need to in order to come away with the win.

Prediction: Mateus Gracie to win via Submission in Round 2

The Main Event of the evening also serves as the finals of the Middleweight Mad Cash tournament as Nolan Sackett takes on Octavio Saades!

Nolan Sackett is currently riding an 8 fight win streak, and reaches the finals after defeating Pika Chu in the last round. Dominating the initial round, Sackett went to work in the second as he landed a number of punches and kicks to work Chu down, before ending the bout with some Ground and Pound after knocking Chu down with a combination. Sackett will be looking to his striking again in this bout, as his great record of 16 (T)KO’s from 19 wins shows he has the power to end anybodies night early. With a Granite Chin, he also has survivability, and has only ever been beaten once in his career, and he avenged that loss already to show he can beat any man he steps into the cage with.

Octavio Saades is also on an 8 fight win streak, having defeated Charles Grace in his last bout to reach the finals. He used a good combination of striking and takedowns to control the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the fight, and he will need to dominate the position once more in order to win this fight. His opponent has the better showing hidden, and that doesn’t bode well for him. He will need to hit his takedowns and control to wear Sackett down, and if he can, then he will be looking for the late takedown.

Overall, having looked at the two fighters in more detail, I feel Sackett has the edge going into the bout. With a Granite Chin and a proven (T)KO record, he will be troubling Saades in the fight, and should be able to get the finish.

Prediction: Nolan Sackett to win via (T)KO in Round 3

That’s all from me, and that’s it for the Mad Cash tournament. Best of luck to the participants, and be sure to look out for the results with the winners each receiving $3m in prize money! For now, that’s all from me and until next time.

Dickie "The Dirt" Dirty

What a night! I had a great performance and really enjoyed the fight. My opponent was very strong, but I was never in danger. Nothing but respect for my opponent and his manager!

Thank you to Insanity for setting up this great tournament and doing such a great job with it. It ran very smooth and I obviously enjoyed it a lot. After this fight I will get released and I will wait for contract offers. I haven't decided yet if I will jump straight into the pool with the top guys or do a contract at an ID restricted org first.

The prize money and VIp days already arrived, so once again a proof of the smooth running of the tournament. Congrats to the organisers!

When is the next tournament? I want in!!! I didn't hear about this until way to late.

Great tourney can't wait if you do another one.

I have no immediate plans for a tournament - I did before The Mad Cash tournament to do a team based tournament - but wanted to do 220k for this and with the ITFL going on, it would be a bad move right now. I may do another creation tournament though, but not in the near future.
