Welcome to London, England where at Hayashi's Lounge we will have some exciting cage fights for you this evening as the Ultimate Combat Federation sponsored by: Juggernaut And Gladiators(90% Laundry) (5186) brings you ten total fights inside the cage. My colleague Mike Doldberg and I will give a quick review of the top 3 fights of the card, along with predictions. So lets get it started!

MAIN EVENT

Rei Bourke (330768) vs. One Punch "KO" (336207)

155 Lbs

Rei Bourke (18-2), a former Beach Fights Champion, who with a staggering KO/TKO percentage of 94.4% in 20 fights total looks to win his debut in the UCF tonight. A violent striker whom many has fallen at his dangerous combination of boxing and muay thai skills will look to continue the trend. With a strong defensive wrestling base, Bourke needs to assert himself in his game plan as the one disadvantage he has is he is the physically smaller fighter as a natural featherweight fighting up a class. One Punch "KO"(6-2) sounds like he is looking for one thing, to knock the other guy out! One Punch is slightly smaller, but is heavier and almost a welterweight walking around. If he has the power to go along with his polished boxing he could upend Bourke with an inside fighting style to get up close and batter his body to set up close quarter strikes. Both have general defensive wrestling, so I assume this will stay on the feet. One Punch is also making his debut and is riding a 3 fight win streak. A great fight for the UCF.

Prediction: Bourke by KO

John Bravo (330605) vs. Dek "The Tek" Tanningfield (337701)

265 Lbs

Two trees swapping limbs..... or swapping hammer fists! Bravo vs. Tanningfield is heavyweight fight that my colleague said they are "Virtually Identical". Bravo (9-2) is a former heavyweight champion from the Island's Beach Fights and has a lot of experience on his opponent. Both fighters have purple belts in brazilian jiu jitsu, but from their past fights they both want to take the fight down and use the old ground n pound style. Too bad headbutts are not allowed! Tanningfield (3-1)is riding a 2 fight win streak and trains his ass off at hands factory in Rio and has taken it easy over the month of October while Bravo has been busy splitting a couple of fights in the same month. Bravo though for some reason is not training at a gym..... I wonder how motivated he is for this fight?

Prediction: Bravo gets tired, wins by decision

Cornelius "Crash" Burns (330911) vs. Mikhail "The Werewolf" Popkov (332479)

205 Lbs

This fight looks like it has FOTN award all over it! I absolutely love this match up as we have got a fight on paper that looks fun! Burns (9-1) is on a tear by going on a 7 fight win streak with last 3 all by KO/TKO in the promotion. Burns is deadly with his stand up and will also get down and dirty in the clinch as well. Popkov (5-1) is slightly taller and has a better reach than Burns, but also employs many of the same techniques in both boxing and the clinch game. One advantage is if Popkov may have an ace in his shorts if he gets that call for a counter takedown where his purple belt is likely to cause some problems for Burns who doesn't like to go down to the ground and trains defensive wrestling for that purpose. A great fight for the fans to see!

Prediction: Burns by TKO

There you have it folks, a quick review of UCF 17 Top 3 Fights!

Don't go betting on my predictions! But if you do and win, send me some over!!!
