http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1359327112fallen%20championsI.jpgHello everyone, Merlin here bringing you updates from Camelot and the Fallen Champions! The Festival got kicked off with a BANG Wednesday night, with the opening ceremony and the first night of fights! The ceremony starting with dancing bears, jogglers, and I think I even saw an elephant or two! Then King Arthur addressed the crowd...."After the dust cleared from the great victory over the Saxons, I looked around and to my dismiss I realized that all of my most trusted Champions had fallen in battle. They were some of the Bravest and Skilled Warriors in all of the land, and my heart is full of sorrow for their loss. How can I ever replace them......Then I decided to put on the Grandest of Festivals, and invite the greatest warriors from all over the land to compete in a hand to hand contest to help me find my new Champions. The Contest will take place every week in front of the great Camelot crowd and myself! The warriors will be split of based off of weight, and the Knights Code Rules shall be in place. Once a warrior has set himself apart from the others then he will be named a Champion and be given the Sword of Camelot to wear at their sides at all times. To keep my champions at top skill level tho, they will be required to defend their Championship against any worthy challengers! Once a Champion has proved himself to me, and defeated all challenges he will be given a Kingdom to rule beside me along with all of the riches you can imagin! Good Luck to everyone, and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!"

That speech was followed by about a 15 minute long chant of "LONG LIVE THE KING!", once the crowd subsided, the contest got under way. The first scheduled fight of the night was suppose to be a contest between Gawain Lot and Magnet Furtadores at 170lbs, but apparently Gawain went out and had too much Mead the night before and couldn't make weight. Maybe we'll see them two fight at a later date. So the actually first contest was two Heavyweights in Sergio Tyson and Charlie Scene, it was a pretty good fight Tyson took the fight down early and often and earned himself a TKO victory. Next was a a Lightweight contest with Lunchmeat Sandwich and Kay Ector, Sandwich wasted no time taking the fight down and had Ector locked in a Americana before his back even hit the ground. Daniel Cormier and Mikka Kinnunen did battle at Heavyweight next with Cormier showing his superior wrestling skills and ground n pounded his way to a TKO victory. Two Featherweights in Kevin Quinn and Tristan Blancheflor went the distance in the next contest with Tristan getting the nod after 20 minutes of battling.

The Main Card of the Event started off with the Bantamweights Jean Claude Van Damme and Henry Glover, Glover put his opponent on his back from the opening bell and kept him their before locking up a Submission to win a $1000 bonus. Next we had Heavyweights Charlie Clock and Percival Pellinore, Pellinore was able to get the fight to the ground and Ground n Pound his way to a Victory. Matt Kinghorn and AkoSii MangJose went to a $1000 bonus winning war for 20 minutes, with AkoSii getting the Decision. The Co Main Event featured Welterweights Brynjar Skjeggestad and Bentley Downer, and Brynar made it a grappling contest before locking up an Armbar. The Main Event saw David King and Uno Decaf at Lightweight, which ended in a bonus winning KO for King.

Well there you have it, I would like to thank the main Sponsor of the games in Pirates Powder. Make sure to check out the games next week...

Hello All, Merlin here bringing you coverage of another great day of Fights from King Arthur's Fallen Champions Festival! We started off the Festival Last week with some tough match ups, so lets see if this weeks contests can keep this great crowd and the King himself entertained.....

We started off with two of the Big Boys going at it, when Uliczny Fajter and Tor Pellinore faced off. Tor wasted no time taking this one into the clinch and absolutely brutaulized Fajter before finishing him off with a big knee. After that very exciting fight we saw Ed Dalsworth and Taran Widow take to the Ring, Ed wanted to work his clinch game early on, before Taran got the fight to the ground and showed off his superior grappling skills. The first round ended with Taran felt pretty confident with his game, then the fighters came out for the 2nd round and Ed found his groove with the clinch and wore Taran until he caught him with a big head kick to finish the fight. Next Willie Everride and Amr Pendragon battled it out at Bantamweight, this one stayed on the feet for most of the fight in a pretty loopsided fight with Amr getting the nod from the judges. Next up we had Lancelot Du Lac and Shelby Toe at Light Heavyweight, the fight started off with Du Lac getting the better of the stand up before Toe was able to clinch up and drag the fight to the ground where he showed his grappling prowess working some nasty ground and pound before getting a TKO stoppage.

With the Prelimanary Contests out of the way, Loholt Pendragon and Oring Smegma started off the Main slate in a Middleweight match up. These two grapplers wasted no time going to the ground, and both guys starting working for submissions. Loholt won the battle finally locking up an Armbar to finish off his opponent. Joe Reilly and Jon Jones were next up with Jon Jones scoring the Knock out of the night. Frank Mir and Master Sifu faced off next, and it didn't take Sifu very long before he clinched up and opened a nasty cut on Mir. Like a shark in the water Sifu smelled blood and worked his inside elbows until the Chiurgeon was forced to stop the contest. The Co Main Event was next with Heavyweights Nick Robinson and Jeremy Thompson squaring off, Nick put Jeremy on his back early and often before securing the Submission of the night. The Main event was a good welterweight battle between Ted Moscato and Kyrie Perry, Ted wanted to take the fight down but Kyrie had other plans and controlled most of the fight by striking at distance. The Judges awarded Kyrie the victory.

Once again I would like to thank the Fallen Champions Festivals main sponsor in Pirates Powder, where you can go to get all of your Meade and potion needs. I'll see you all next week with a bring you another review from Camelot!

Fallen Champions III Review

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1360471365fc3.jpg

265+ lbs - Tjemu Van Dijk vs Rod Flanders

In the main event of the evening the fiery prospect Tjemu Van Dijk put his impressive 7-1 record on the line against a sturdy grappler fresh to the MMA scene by the name of Rod Flanders. This contest did not last long at all as Van Dijk landed a hellish kick to the head right off the opening bell, knocking Flanders down and putting him in some serious peril. A dazed and confused Flanders was waved back to his feet and got tagged with a beautiful and fatal superman punch rendering him limp and putting a dramatic and swift end to the one sided bout. Amazingly all of this happened within the course of a few seconds and Van Dijk claims an impressive victory at an official 0:05 seconds of round 1 by KO (Superman Punch).

265lbs - Galahald Du Lac vs Jackie Chan

The co-main event witnessed another grappler vs striker bout in pure form as Jackie Chan looked to halt the rising 5-1 prospect Galahald Du Lac in his tracks. Both fighters each actually enjoyed a healthy amount of time in their chosen fields of battle. Chan ate an incredible amount of punches trying to impose a ground battle and actually ended up taking his foe down 2 times and dishing out some solid ground work. As Chan's gas tank faded, so did his output on the ground and the ref stepped in to reset the fighters on their feet late in the 2nd round. Du Lac really punished his foe with laser accurate punches in the latter portion of that round and did enough to claim a victory. Du Lac is victorious by way of Unanimous Decision after an exhausting 20 minute battle.

155lbs - Jim Jom vs Lunchmeat Sandwich

Lightweight gladiator Lunchmeat Sandwich really poured his soul into this fight and truly left it all in the ring trying to fight in his comfort zone. Jom incredibly defended a staggering and flawless 17 takedown attempts in about 4 minutes and was basically perfect in his counter assault. A gassed and demoralized Sandwich was basically a punching bag near the end of the bout and the referee really saved him some serious damage. Jom looked unbelievable in his grappling defense and his smooth and decisive boxing lead to a highly impressive finish via an overhand right. Jom wins via TKO (Strikes) at 4:38 of round 1.

135lbs - Bo Lawal vs Ikaika Paulo

The south african king Bo Lawal looked highly impressive in his organizational debut as he was able to take down and dominate a brown belt in Ikaika Paulo which is quite an accomplishment. Paulo must of been up all night drinking the day before because he didn't put up much resistance as Lawal pounded the living shit out of him with some crushing ground and pound. Lawal did all his work from the half guard in which he landed after a swift takedown. A crippling elbow strike sealed the deal at the 0:55 mark making Lawal the victor by way of TKO (Strikes).

145lbs - Malcolm Master vs Tristan Blancheflor

A very crafty grappling match was enjoyed by fight fans as Malcolm Master and Tristan Blancheflor rolled around on the canvas in a thrilling exchange of submissions and transitions. Master initiated the battle with a takedown into guard and then it was a rollercoaster ride to the end. Armbars, triangles, guillotines and leg locks were employed albeit mainly by Master. After defending a solid 18 submission attempts Blancheflor finally succumed as he was caught in a slick triangle that forced him to tap out. Master claimed victory right before the bell by way of Submission (Triangle) at the 9:58 minute mark of round 1.

185lbs - Lorenzo Von Matterhorn vs Mervin Uybanua Ruiz

Some heaty middleweight action ensued as relatively well rounded combatants Mervin Uybanua Ruiz and Lorenzo Von Matterhorn clashed in a pretty competitive fight. Ruiz who is only a blue belt showed no interest in going to the ground, stuffing several takedowns and landing some nice low kicks that had his foe breathing pretty hard. Matterhorn persisted with his ground assault and managed a takedown which proved fatal as he employed his superior jiu jitsu skills. Although it took him a few minutes, Matterhorn was able to lock up a shoulder and force a tap in the very first round. He is victorious by way of Submission (Kimura) at the 4:59 minute mark of round 1.

265lbs - Daniel Cormier vs Sergio Tyson

Some heavyset grapplers locked horns in battle as proficient love making master Sergio Tyson battled Daniel Cormier in a contest of skill. This was an interesting grappling collision as Cormier was able to defend his opponents takedowns and score his own at will in very impressive fashion. Tyson was squirmy on the ground and managed to attempt a couple of submissions but the powerful volume of strikes Cormier was hailing down proved to be too much to handle. Cormier wins via Unanimous Decision and perhapd Tyson should consider retiring and taking up a career in the pornographic industry.

205lbs - Diego Russell vs Payden McGee

Another one sided bout was written into the history books as Payden McGee absorbed a mean beating at the hands of iron chinned Diego Russell. The fight started with a slick takedown into side control from Russell which set the tone of the fight albeit randomly interrupted by the referee at one point.. Russell wasn't phased though and immediately took his foe back down and continued his punishing assault with ground strikes. Some collossal strikes forced McGee to wince and turn to his back, forcing a referee stoppage and giving Russell a sweet victory by way of TKO (Strikes) at the 3:48 mark of round 1.

155lbs - Zachariah Wampler vs Nate Tua

In probably the most evenly matched bout of the night, Nate Tua and Zachariah Wampler ensued in an absolute war which would probably get my vote for fight of the night. Tua's gameplan was to stand and bang and disengage from any sort of battle on the ground. Wampler employed a blitzkrieg ground assault which made for a really crazy fight. Stuffing a huge amount of takedowns and landing a sufficient amount of strikes was not enough to survive the assault of Wampler. Wampler threw over a hundred ground strikes and even had rocked Tua at one point which he recovered from rather nicely. The wrestling defenses of Tua were deficient and costly as Wampler picks up a Unanimous Decision victory through hard work and determination.

185lbs - Huard Slavokavich vs Chael Sonnen

Power punching boxer Huard Slavokavich put his skills on display as he scored a swift and decisive shutout stoppage over a battered Chael Sonnen. It was obvious that Sonnen was trying to pick his shots and land that clean counter strike but Slavokavich never let off the gas. Some clean and brutal punch combinations landed on the bread basket of Sonnen putting him on queer street and basically primed for the killshot. A leaping lead hook rendered his foe unconscious and Slavokavich scored a clean and brutal victory by way of KO (Punch) at the 0:24 second mark of the very first round.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1360474348FC4.jpgHello all Merlin here to bring you another review from the great city of Camelot and King Arthur's Fallen Champions Festival! This is the fourth week of events and the rankings in each weight class are really starting to come together, I would say a few more events and we may have our first Champions crowned! Alright enough making you wait here we go, we started the night of a match up that was suppose to happen at the very first event. Well Gawain Lot apparently didn't stay out all not drinking this time so he made weight for his match up with Magnet Futadores, and what a fight it was. This fight of the night was a very exciting display of skills, Lot wasted no time taking Magnet down and pepper him with ground and pound for the whole first 10 minutes. The bell for the second round rang, and the fighters met in the middle of the ring with Magnet getting the better of the exchanges. Lot feeling the pressure and getting rocked with a great combo, took the fight to the ground and immediately looked to lock up a sub which he was successful with. Next up Mikka Kinnunen and Charlie Scene went to war, Scene came out and keep getting the takedown but had a hard time keeping Mikka on his back. Finally Scene was able to lock up and Sub at just 2:19 in the first round and the Sub of the Night award. The lightweights Matt Kinghorn and Uno Decaf were up next, both guys looking for their first win. They started out with Uno looking to strike at range, and Kinghorn was finally able to clinch him up and drag him down to the ground where he was able to secure dominate postion and finish his opponent with strikes. Next with had the two heavy handed welterweights Bentley Downer and Matt Todd, everybody was expected to see fireworks, but it was a pretty lackluster affair with both guys looking to clinch up against the ropes and wear their opponent down. After 20 minutes Bentley Downer was awarded the victory by the judges. Two of the Big boys met next, as Myke Hunt took on Tor Pellinore. Tor was picking his opponent apart with strikes before Hunt was able to get the takedown, which everybody thought was going to be bad new for Tor but he was able to land a sweep and get ahold of one of his opponents arm for an armbar victory!

Our first fight on the Main Card was Buddha Buddhasson and Steve Ninjaman, coming in to this one it was believed that Steve was the one packing the bricks in his gloves but Buddha proved that wrong, only taking 41 seconds to knock Ninjaman out cold winning the Knockout of the Night. Kalei Iziarry and Kevin Quinn, two top ranked 145ers went to war next. Kalei was all over his opponent from the opening bell, dragging him down and tapping him out! Next we had two more 145lbers in Lance Stevens and Caius Lehtonen, Stevens come out like a ball of fire and overwhelmed Caius, finishing him off just 31 seconds into the fight. The Co Main Event Featured 205lbers BJ Penn and Thiago DeJesus, Thiago for some reason took this fight down to the ground with the more skilled grappler being Penn. BJ stayed very active off his back always looking for subs and to advance position, Thiago did a very good job controlling but wasn't able to get any sort of offense going even when he mounted Penn. Penn was finally able to work his way back to full ground, and lock up a Guillitine and putting his opponent to sleep. And Finally the Main Event, David King and Robert E Conan met in the ring to the roar of the crowd. This was a really back and forth battle, each fighter was looking to clinch and batter the other, before Conan was able to land a takedown and work his way into mount, finishing King with strikes.

Well there you go fans, make sure to check out our main sponsors store, Pirates Powder. And make sure to tune in next week for more coverage from the great contests at the Fallen Champions Festival.

Dev Vasilios and Ivan Korben went to war, Korben looked to take the fight to the ground early, but it was Dev who showed his grappling skill and was able to lock up a sub of the night. Light Heavyweights Thiago DeJesus and Blagoi Ivanov were next, Ivanov just had his way with his opponent in this one, working the clinch to start with before taking it to the mat and pounding DeJesus out! Severino Bernardo vs Jose Dimagiba was on tap next, Severino took his opponent down and worked his ground n pound to a TKO victory.

Our Main Card started off with a Heavyweight match up between Chris Staehlin and Bones Norris and this contest was an absolute blood bath before it was stopped due to a cut on Norris. The Main Event was between Heavyweights Solofa Fatu and Nick Robinson, this fight went pretty much everywhere with Robinson seeming to be the aggressor looking to clinch up and take his opponent down. Fatu was just waiting for his moment to explode, and he did that the second time Robinson put him on his back locking up an arm for an armbar!

It was a great night of fights, and here is another review of Lost Legends II....

Gram Prodigy and Oring Smegma started the night of with a good battle, both guys were looking to show their grappling skills but Gram was just alil better getting the decision win. Suleman Pokong and Magnet Futadores were up next, Magnet just had his way with Pokong before tapping him out with a Kimura. Bantamweights Ikaiko Paulo and Danny Greene went to war with Greene locking up a sub early. Next we had the Fight of the Night with Henry Glover and Andre Jones squaring off, it went back and forth for the whole 20 minutes but the judges thought that Jones did enough to get the win. Mike Alvarez and Matt Kinghorn were next, Alvarez said before the fight that he was going to knock Kinghorn out, well....he put Kinghorn on his back and looked for submission after submission, and finally locked up an armbar victory.

The Main Card was lead off with a Lightweight match up between James Madness and Jim Jom, Jom looked to work his striking early on, but Madness was able to land the takedown early and often. He was finally able to work his way to mount, but got reversed with going for an armbar. Jim should have took that as his opportunity to get the fight back standing but he waiting too long and gave up a triangle late in the first round. Master Sifu and Gegardio Musasio went to war next, Sifu started working his clinch game early looking to open up a cut with some nasty elbows. Musasio after several attempts was able to pull guard and immediately locked up a bonus winning submission. Welterweights Kid Kong and Alan Belcher were up next, the first round saw a lot of grappling with both fighters sweeping each other and trading positions, The second round was all Kong who quickly worked his way to full mount and starting dropping nasty punches before the ref stepped in and stopped the fight. The Co Main Event pitted Super Heavyweight Kingpin Tjemu Van Dijk and Matthew Beaver, Van Dijk took no time showing off his improved boxing just picking Beaver apart before landing a massive Head Kick that won him the KO of the Night Award! The Main Event was a number 1 contender fight between Ben Askren and Shelby Toe at 205lbs, Toe showed that he wants that first title shot, taking his opponent down and ground n pounding him to victory!

And after the dust of battle has settled it will be Galahad standing the victor, and he will be spoiled with all of the women and mead that his heart desires!

Lee Jackson:

Galahad, you do make me laugh. I eased past you the first time and since then I have only improved. My boxing is hugely underrated as well so I fear not your only skill. I shall be the rightful champion and host a feast that shall be fit for only kings and whores. You, Galahad will not be attending that unless you would like to serve me wine and turkey all night. Besides, the only reason you are gettin a title shot against yours truly is because that fat young choir boy Solofa Fatu has been ducking me for too long. Every time I walk past him I can small the shit in his pants! It is clear that everyone in this division is terrified of the almighty Lee Jackson, apart from you, however foolish that is of you it is also some what admirable. I respect you for willingly fighting me and signing a death wish!
