MBennet
Hey, the basics first: This fight - http://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=741789 This fighter - http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=264157 This manager - http://mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=102620 Those were my sliders before this fight - http://i.imgur.com/2uUEs7T.jpg Question - why did my fighter made 3 (three) moves when his opponent made 15 (fifteen)? That's five times more. That shouldn't have happened, I think. That must be a bug.
GBK16
One explanation could be that your opponent's wresling is a lot better than yours, meaning he could gain a better position from which to aggressively attack. You might also have just gotten a bad roll in the engine, but I think the Wrestling advantage influenced it a lot.
MBennet
Enough to make 5 times more moves during a fight? (7 times more if you only count clinch)
duphus
It's about energy, the guy with more energy will always do more moves. Too start off you missed one standing strike that was thrown with massive damage that probably zapped some energy right there, then it goes to the clinch: 1 shot for you 1 shot for jones he came in low on energy but both fighters are probably equal on energy now at this point 1 body shot for jones 1 miss for jones 1 shot for jones 1 shot for jones You're probably really behind on energy now and not going to throw as many shots at this point he takes over and rock's and gas's ya. Some of the beginning can just be unlucky rolls on who does moves as it's somewhat random short term but over the long run will average out do to agg/counter settings
MBennet
You mean it's not a bug? If it's not a bug, it's a bs. Makes me think it's 100% luck and 0% sliders and skills.
Bwang
Those were my sliders before this fight - http://i.imgur.com/2uUEs7T.jpg Wow you came out wanting to throw haymakers! And loads of them. Ballsy. If it's not a bug, it's a bs. Everyone hates to lose! 1
Skap
Id have avoided the clinch and once in the clinch done everything to get out... Im also not a fan of spamming headshots or going to high on damage. I agree with GBK's post above his wrestling killed ya.
MBennet
Thanks for responding, guys, but none of you answered my question. I'm not asking why I lost, I'm not mad I lost (as Bwang suggests), I'm simply asking if it's normal to make 7 times less moves in clinch than your opponent, when you're going high aggro (most likely higher than your opponent), simply because he has a bit better wrestling (I don't think he has better clinchwork and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have better physicals). That is the question I asked. The answer should be either: - No, it's not normal, it's most likely a bug. or - Yes, it's perfectly normal and quite expectable, I might add. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
Skap
Its normal considering what youve been told above...
GBK16
Read Duphus' answer, that's about as in depth an answer as you will get Yes it is normal since he had an energy advantage, not a bug
MBennet
Then I don't get how energy works (yes, I've read all there is on the wiki about it). I do not get how my fighter here got energy drained so quickly nor do I get why it is so drastic (a little energy advantage makes your opponent don't do any moves at all, weird). catako
Beside energy, verry important in the clinch is your fighters skills: Clinchwork, wrestling, strenght (mostly strenght) For example: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=740403 It's 50 times more then my fighters tried to connect. And I set the sliders to 0% stall and 50/50 on the agressive/counter slide Since it wasn't met for that tournament I went and put max for 1 or 2 basic skill and I didn't have wrestling at a good level, and also my strenght was 1. Therefor I don't blame the engine, as the other fighter could easily controll my fighter and he drained quick my energy with body punches
