Younger Brother Don Diego has won the Slaughterhouse FC Middleweight Title. Overcoming the odds again, defeating another much larger opponent by KO in the 4th round. Diego controlled the fight with huge power shots that kept Gabe Christianson backpedaling and looking to avoid getting knocked out. The reach and size advantage was used well by Gabe to keep Diego at a distance and use his jab and low kicks well, but Diego kept throwing bombs until the final shot landed, and it was all over, New Champion Crowned.

Christianson pushes Diego up against the cage in a clinch.
Christianson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Diego lands an uppercut.

Diego lands a hook to the side of the head.

Christianson is rocked!
Diego unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Christianson! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Diego is unloading with more strikes now! Christianson drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Diego!

Don Diego is the new middleweight champion!

"The Fox" Don Diego has his next Slaughterhouse FC opponent, defending his Middleweight Title for the first time since KO'ing Christianson in round 4 after a dominating performance. Diego has now won 3 straight fights by way of TKO, but all of them have been in separate weight classes, 170lbs, 205lbs. and then 185lbs. Diego has been gaining weight and likely will not have significant speed advantage, but the weight disadvantage will not be in play anymore either. We asked Don a few questions regarding his upcoming Title defense and a few other topics.

Q: How is training, how is the weight gain?

Diego: "Training is great, learning nicely, improving myself always. I feel muscular, but I also feel quick, sharp and on point 110%."

Q: Henkka Seppala, your next challenger, what do you expect from him?

Diego: "Well, we already know he is a decent wrestler and doesn't want to stand with me, he will try and take me down, but I'm ready and I will KO him easy. Just another man I have to put down, and put to sleep."

Q: What do you think of the success of Dicky Dirty as of late, pretty impressive as your manager says right?

Diego: "Uhm, yeah the dude is on a good run, much respect. It's nice to say I have a previous win over him but that was along time ago. I'm thinking in the future we can meet again maybe at catch weight, but he and I both have Titles do defend right now so I'm sure when God wants us to fight again, the fight will happen and it will be fireworks. I'd love to have a KO victory over him this time around."

Looks like the fans will have to wait and see what cans Grunge keeps crushing to keep his padded fake record perfect. Chris Severn, a top fighter under Sean McDonnell stepped up and challenged Diego respectfully, one which Diego accepted immediately.

"I didn't expect Grunge to take the fight, he's been ducking me for literally years now, but Severn is a real fighter and stepped up like I did, he's a good opponent for me. I will win by KO, and move onto a great Title Championship run, mark my words."

MEANWHILE

DOM Diego has an upcoming rematch with Sotiris, for the Championship again. Their first fight was very close and they split rounds before Diego was caught with a shot that sent him down and the ref stopped it. Diego promises the result will be different and that he will get that Championship Gold around his waist.

"Totally Different game-plan, I had it all wrong our first fight and I almost won. I'm here to knock his ass flat out cold this time, no more playing around, he can't hurt me again, I will make sure I punish him for ducking me so long the first time.."

"I have a lot more respect for my next opponent, Goodbarrel. This guy comes to fight and he brings it. I'm happy I get to smash another tough motherfucker and prove I'm the fucking best. I got my groove down and I'm fucking up everybody. I'm thinking Goodbarrel will try to outpoint me but in a 5 round fight he won't survive, it doesn't matter what his gameplan is because his chin won't hold up."

Rare Interview with MMA SuperStar Don Diego

Q:Great performance in the Syn Middleweight Tournament first off, I was sad to see that the second fight with Wien was only 3 rounds, it was very close. Your thoughts on the fight and what's next?

Don Diego: I felt I won the fight, but Wien is an sick fighter, the dude can take a punch and he hits hard. His management is one of the best in the game and his camp and training partners are top notch. I was happy with the fight to be honest, losing to him, like that, wasn't that hard to take. I hate losing, but my success speaks for itself and losses happen, but I'll be Champion.

I'm done though, I don't like interviews much, I stay away from media as much as possible and just train and fight and live happily. Thanks for listening."

Dom Diego

DOM DIEGO has since beaten Laar by dominant decision but then lost in his jump to Heavyweight for the Title against William King, a hard hitting veteran like Dom. Rumours were confirmed by The Diego and Burns Camp that he indeed did have a major staph infection a week prior to the fight but refused to pull out. His performance showed as he looked sluggish and slow, and was KO'd in round 2.

The rematch is set.

This is what he had to say this week

"I was in rough shape going into the first fight with King, he hits hard but I was all out of it because of the medication I was on, it was a really bad month and fight for me, tough to take.

I asked for a rematch and was granted it, I believe I can defeat King and grab that belt. I am getting old and starting to feel it, but I still feel I can compete and win at a high level. With age comes wisdom, and with experience I've become an animal who won't give up my territory anytime soon. Is old Lion is going to show the world I'm still here.."

BREAKING NEWS, CORRUPTION IN HILO!

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14262661931255.jpg

Dom Diego

After 5 rounds for the HW Title in Hilo. Dom Diego dominated the fight for 5 whole rounds, putting on the best showing of his whole career, outclassing King striking out landing him and dominating with takedowns and ground and pound. King was on the verge of being finished multiple times, and looked like a defeated fighter.

King executed a takedown on a tired Diego late on the fifth and dug his fingers into Dom Diego's cut even more, opening it up. It was a nasty cut, but nothing too serious and there was only a minute left. Diego complained to the ref but King continuously punched and gouged at the cut from top guard.

With just 4 seconds left in the fight, the confusion took place that shook the MMA community. The referee decided to stop the clock and stand the fighters so they could check Diego's cut. Diego and the Burns Camp were furious and very worried that something very corrupt was about to happen.

The doctor whiped the blood from Diego's eye and CLEARED HIM TO CONTINUE and the crowd and Burns's camp explode in happiness as they believe they have 4 seconds before they are the New Champion. The referee asked Diego twice if he is okay to continue, and Diego looks as he says "yes" and gives a thumbs up, but miraculously and ludicrously the referee waived off the fight with 4 seconds left before restarting the fight for no reason apparently. King somehow retains his Title as the fans throw garbage, chairs, and beer into the ring as the decision is read. "Bullshit" was chanted, the ref was assaulted, and Diego was humble to King in defeat, but visibly upset and stunned.

There was an immediate investigation into the matter, and Hilo Athletic Commision(HAC) issued the following statement

"We are very concerned and shocked to find there are fight fixing allegations towards HAC. After reviewing the fight video in full, we agree unanimously that Diego was treated unfairly and that the fight was stopped unjustly. The doctor in charge was aware and cleared him to fight. The referee stopped it unjustly giving King an unfair win.

The referee has been suspended and is being charged with taking a betting bribe to have King win. That is all we can comment on this matter. Unfortunately, the decision cannot be overturned as HAC rules and regulations say results are absolutely final after being read after a fight."

As Diego and King embraced, Justin Credible(King's manager) and CEO of the org, SP told Diego and texted Bradley Burns that he was also upset about the decision and thought it was very bad. Credible appolgized profusely and swore they would take action, which they have.

Again, Diego was stopped by a weak cut on his face after dominating his opponent after the King fight.

DOM initially said he was done, and he retired but since has been convinced to give it one more shot. He left Hilo immediately and stated he loves SP, but hates Hilo as a fighting city now, after it used to be his home for years.

Hopefully in Montreal he will get a fair shake from a referee and doctor.
