Tyson Law is wondering why he gets no love? Who does he need to submit to hear his name in recognition? After earning sub of the night, he's starting to wonder what he has to do to get noticed. 5-1 record, 2-0 in CC, and waiting for the next man up.

Jake "Full" Mount

the next man up is unfortunately not a man but more of a BoogeyMan, i'd like to challenge Tyson Law and i promise you he will have flashbacks of his fight with Pistol Pete. thats if he remembers any of it ;)

- Checkmate Hunting Gold Finale Preview -

Logopit_1592549938040.jpg?width=331&heig

This card holds the potential for a great evening of fights that include

(265) - Olusola Oni (3-4) vs Admir Bosnic (6-4)

(145) - De Jo (1-0) vs Craig List (0-0)

(185) - George Berry (2-0) vs Bert Fat Boy (0-2)

(170) - Pedro Vela (3-2) vs Exeudo Oni (5-4)

(205) - Omir Stalingrad (3-1) vs Alen Zalac (3-1)

(170) - Nick Gracie (2-0) vs Juan Christiano (3-1)

(205) - Jonty Egburt (2-0) vs Zhang Wu (3-1)

Before I get to the Co-Main Event and Main Event preview I wanna give a big spotlight to a possible title eliminator fight between #2 ranked middleweight Manco "The Good" Unknown (5-1) (1-0 in CC) X #7 ranked Roku "Six" Takenaka (4-3) (0-0 in CC)

The winner of fight could very well be expecting an offer sent over to challenge for the title against newly crowned champion One Wonder, with big stakes on the line, both fighters will look to bring their all for this fight and leave an impression on the matchmakers of Checkmate to rally a talk for the shot!

- Co-Main Event - Checkmate 205 Title Fight -

Logopit_1592630738105.jpg?width=331&heig

In our Co-Main Event of the night, we will see who will become the first 205 Checkmate Champion when we see "Lord" Lukasz Wieczorek (4-1) (3-0 in CC) take on Mason "Mushaboom" Edwards (7-0) (1-0 in CC)

I think I can speak for everyone when I say, this fight is gonna be one you do not wanna miss! Wieczorek is coming off a huge victory over Gabriel Creed who looked unstoppable in his fights and some thought he would take the whole tournament... That was until raging contender looking for a shake the bracket "Lord" Lukasz Wieczorek got his hands on him. Wieczorek had cut and dropped young Creed early in the first minute of the first round, and then right as Creed was getting his wits together and landing his shots BOOM Lukasz dropped him with a HUGE right hand and then shortly after that landed another big shot that ultimately ended the fight in the first round by TKO. Even before the biggest win of his career, Mr. Wieczorek had already been making big moves in Checkmate's 205-pound division, with a KOTN spinning back fist knockout over 205 staple Willy Graham back at Checkmate Fight Night 8. Confidence is something Wieczorek has never lacked, after he made good on his Checkmate debut back at Checkmate Fight Night 5 he was already calling for a title fight. 2 fights later his call for that title shot will finally come true, and not only does he have the chance to become the champ, whoever wins this bout will be THE FIRST Checkmate Light-Heavyweight Champion!

But in order to make those dreams reality, he must do what no one has done before and take out Mason "Mushaboom" Edwards (7-0) who will be looking to do everything in his power to not let that happen. Edwards signed at Checkmate Championship with a flawless 6-0 record, and with that, we decided to give him a spot in the Hunting Gold 205 bracket, and he proved he deserved to be in the tournament after handing Choctaw Bloode his first Pro MMA career loss in the first round of the tournament by way of second way submission, but the win didn't come easy, Edwards got dominated in the first round and got hit with some real damaging elbows that lead to him getting cut early in the fight, but did that stop him? No, in fact, it might've just ticked him off cause after some success in the takedown/grappling department late in the first round as soon as the bell rang for round number 2 he countered a missed head kick attempt by his opponent with a beautiful takedown and quickly went after a kimura attempt and ultimately got the tap! But aside from fighting inside the cage, Edwards has had to fight in his personal life as well. The Squalor Native was raised by a single mother and had to fight for every dollar he ever had, but the fighting didn't end there, when he made his amateur debut he faced his older brother where he submitted him with rubber guard, but through all this hardship he never forgot the woman that raised him. After he made good on his Pro MMA debut he took his mom out for a nice dinner for a thanks for everything she has done. He has also begun training under legend GSP and has taken him as his mentor, GSP just doesn't know it yet, but maybe after a big title win, he will finally realize it. A touching story, but he has not let his dark past outline who he is and some have even heard him say that now he is living the dream and a quote that he has said has been spreading around saying "Someone get me a belt because I'm headed to the top.". He has also wasted no time using those poetic words to spit some harsh words at his opponent Wieczorek, but the question is, will that get into his opponent's head or will it only fuel him to try to finish him quicker? We will find out tomorrow evening!

The first title challenger has already been decided and is eagerly awaiting the crowning of the champion so he can get his shot at him and that man is none other than Conquest MMA's 205 champion Blake Phoenix "Version 2.0" (4-0) who has been eagerly waiting for his title shot since being brought over to Checkmate. and will soon get that title shot. But against who is the real question? Who will become Checkmate Championship's first-ever 205-pound champion and become the Hunting Gold 205 tournament winner???

- Main Event - Checkmate 170 Title Fight -

Logopit_1592556383602.jpg?width=331&heig

Now wipe those tears away because we have two men itching to rip each other apart in our MAIN EVENT of the event when we see Joad Cressbeckler (4-0) (0-0 in CC) take on Ispa Perkele (5-0) (1-0 in CC)

Firstly before I get into the preview I would like to state, even though these men don't have extensive records/record at all with Checkmate Championship, don't doubt their championship quality, BOTH of these men came from org affiliates as CHAMPIONS. Cressbeckler took the title from NoBrain Mentally in Conquest shortly before Conquest merged with Checkmate and got a bye in the first round of the tournament. Perkele was the champion of Medieval Combat (Formally known as Rural Champion before undergoing new ownership) and he was a perfect 4-0 over there and won his first round fight by TKO. Now with that let's get into the preview.

Cressbeckler will finally make his highly anticipated Checkmate Championship debut and boy what a better way to big splash in the org then to win the first Welterweight title and that's exactly what he can do! The 20-year-old United States Native is a perfect 4-0 in his Pro MMA career and looks to add another big win to his record by defeating his fellow undefeated opponent tomorrow, but before we get to him lets take a closer look into Cressbeckler's Pro MMA journey. He made his pro-MMA debut back in 12-24-2019 and has been busy taking out all opponents put in front of him. Most recently he found himself in a title fight for Conquest MMA's 170 title. He came into that fight as the challenger and left getting his hand raised and walking out with the belt wrapped around his waist. After cutting and rocking NoBrain Mentally in the first It only took him 54 seconds in the second round to take the belt from the champ by way of Submission (Strikes), and shortly after that was brought over to Checkmate during the merge, and we are sure lucky to have him here and can't wait to see him fight! Cressbeckler was also the 2019 CPAC keynote speaker and has stated he " isn't fixin to put up with you yeller bellied britch soilers. Stuff your sassafras into some other malarkey magnet.". And whatever that means, I am gonna take his word and try not to get on his bad side... I think?

Standing across the cage from him will be Ispa Perkele who also has a perfect Pro MMA record but his stands at 5-0, and as stated above he also knows what it feels like to be a champion. Perkele was born and raised in Sjk Finland before relocating to London to train for his passion for MMA. Ispa found a home with the org now known as Medieval Combat and went a perfect 4-0 there taking out the likes of Tom Get Jacobsen by way of TKO, The Hitman by way of TKO and Jeff Roberts via TKO before finally getting a title shot and taking out Niki Ge by way of TKO and claiming his throne over his home org. However now Perkele has moved over to Checkmate and after making good on his debut in the first round of the Hunting Gold tournament by taking out First Officer Chakotay by way of TKO in the third round in a one-sided affair fight, he will now look to take Cressbeckler from the ranks of the unbeaten and claimed his throne yet again, but this time under the bright lights of Checkmate Championship's cage. Who will walk out the king of the welterweights and Hunting Gold 170 tournament winner?????

This card is gonna be crazy I can already tell! Let me know who you got!

- Checkmate Contenders 3 Preview -

Logopit_1593162854132.jpg?width=331&heig

Firstly we know for this card to be a contenders it has got to have some contenders! Lets take a quick look at the lineup of contenders and what they could hold for the divisions!

(170) - #2 Trey Wittman vs #6 NoBrain Mentally *This fight could lead to big things in the welterweight division to the winner!

(265) - #7 Dalton Swas vs #8 Mike Kownacki *Two undefeated on the rise contenders!

(185) - #3 Raffaele Callegari vs #5 Pierre Nikolas *A HUGE fight for the middleweight division!

(170) - #7 Jorge Adesanya vs Mohammed Samir

(155) - #5 Greg Connor vs Steven Pelican

(145) - #9 Leon Johnson vs Sammie Conner

We will also get to see some unranked talent in

(185) - Abayomrunkoje Oni vs Bhishma Chontamenti

(145) - Chevvy Bridges vs Ripper Stallone

In our Co-Main event on the card, we have two ranked Light-Heavyweight Contenders that are looking to make a statement in the division when we see #6 Bobby Bryant (5-0) (0-0 in CC) takes on #10 ranked Orvar Odd Lodinkinni (3-1) (3-1 in CC)

#6 LHW Bobby Bryant will step in the Checkmate Championship cage for the first time, and with a number already beside his name, he will look to put on a performance on a lifetime to show the crowd why he was giving that very rank. He is a perfect 5-0 in his pro MMA career, all coming by way of first-round KO/TKOs. He also has had a good kickboxing career where he is currently 2-1 in KT. This heavy-handed Detroit native Muay Thai specialist is looking to take full advantage of this co-main event slot and give the fans a treat!

The man opposite of him will be Checkmate Championship Vet and #10 LHW Orvar Odd Lodinkinni who has spent all of his pro MMA career under the bright lights of Checkmate, the Norway native is coming off an impressive 1st round KO win over Karl Weathers, He also has a win over Light-Heavyweight up and comer Nicholas Dienekes back at Checkmate Fight Night 5. Orvar looks to have the boxing advantage in this fight and he has also finished all his wins by way of first-round KOs.

When these two fast-paced Light-Heavyweight fighters clash we know we will be in for a treat!

Now for the moment, we have been waiting for! A high-level Heavyweight fight between two of the best in the division when #3 HW Jax Chambers (4-1) (1-0 in CC) clashes with #4 HW Augustin Cauchy (8-2) (0-0 in CC) in the MAIN EVENT of the night!

Hailing from Charlottetown Canada the walking boxing clinic #3 ranked Heavyweight Jax Chambers is coming off the biggest win of his career since defeating former Conquest champ and now #9 HW Jingky Bacolod in his last outing where he got a first-round KO over the highly respected heavyweight, but Jax says he is not done there, now he will be looking to make yet another statement in the shark tank that is the Checkmate Heavyweight division by trying to take out yet another heavyweight prospect in his opponent, Jax is currently on a 4 fight win streak. After losing his pro-MMA debut he really turned up his training and it has shown in his fights by finishing all of them by first-round TKO/KO and now will look to add another name to his list.

#4 Heavyweight Augustin Cauchy is 8-2 in his pro MMA career, with both of his losses being in title fights he has shown he can hang with the best even in defeat. He is coming off a title fight loss against Jingky Bacolod. With that behind him Cauchy will be looking to take a step up and redeem his last fight, how is he doing that you ask? Oh, I don't know, maybe by facing the very man that has given Jingky Bacolod his first and only loss in MMA. Cauchy has never turned down a big fight and he is showing that here once again, Cauchy is a BJJ brown belt and with all of his 8 wins coming by way of submission I will take a wild guess and say he will look to get Jax to the ground and force his will there and force Jax to submit. He is undefeated in non-title fights and will look to add to that number in this bout.

Neither of these fighters has ever seen the second round in their pro MMA careers, will this fight be the first time that happens? or will it be another 1st round finish for one of these gladiators?!?!?!

This fight card could shake up the rankings of the divisions and I can't wait to see the results!

- Checkmate Contenders 4 Spotlight Preview -

Logopit_1593310311571.jpg?width=331&heig

What would Checkmate Contenders 4 be without some ranked fighters?!?!? Let's take a look at some of the fights and ranked contenders we will get to see tomorrow before we get to the Main/Co-Main headers!

Ranked fights!

185 - #1 Marc Vos vs #4 First Name

155 - #8 Carlos Rogan vs #9 Manja Sha

185 - #8 Ispa Murska vs Tony Dentist

145 - #8 Ieuan Thomas vs Ben Sheeran

155 - #10 Kyosti Pietilainen vs Paulo Correia

Unranked fights that will be opening up the card!

*Never underestimate the unranked fights! They could steal the show!

170 - Arriorus Adee vs Van Der Veer Jr

145 - Nou Hematopoye vs Walter Sobchak

170 - Janis Blums vs Riddim Lewis

Now onto the Co-Main and Main event previews!

In our Co-Main of the night, we will see the #1 heavyweight contender Brian Snow (8-2)(3-2 in CC) take on up and comer #10 contender Jeshwua Gentry (4-1) (1-0 in CC)

Brian Snow is at an all-time high after putting on the best performance of his pro MMA career in his last bout where he took out top-ranked contender Test Run and gave him just his second loss in professional MMA. Snow has always been a high profile fighter ever since signing with Checkmate, he was the runner up in "Checkmate The Crowning" tournament where he fought for Checkmate's inaugural 265 title fight in the finale against current champ Jon Nolan. Even though he came up short in that fight Snow was the first and still the only man to extend the champ to a second round, and many believe he won that first round before ultimately getting stopped in the second round, but he has since put that fight behind him and looks to keep proving he is one of the best in the division.

The man that will be looking to ruin that dream is #10 ranked heavyweight Jeshwua Gentry, Gentry has a record of 4 wins with only 1 loss. After making good on his Checkmate debut back at Checkmate Championship 1 where he took out The Crowning contestant Magnus Iii Karlson and sent him into retirement he looks like he could really be a force for the division, and what better way to prove that then to take out the #1 contender of the division. Gentry started his pro MMA career up a weight at 265+ but since has moved down to his natural weight class of 265, where he has gone a perfect 2-0 so far. Jeshwua has proved he can win a fight wherever it goes, he has 2 wins by decision, 1 by KO and 1 by submission. The 27-year-old United States native has a big task in front of him but he fully believes he can pull it off, and with that confidence, I think he has a shot!

Now in our, give me a second to clear my throat... ok here it goes...

MAINNNN EVENNNNTTTTT, of the night we will see 205 pound Alliance World Championship winner #2 L-HW Zane "The Bedtime Story" Alexander (6-1) (0-0 in CC) take on #10 ranked, "Checkmate Hunting Gold" contestant Choctaw Bloode (3-1)(0-1 in CC) in an exciting matchup that we will be fortunate enough to see!

Zane "The Bedtime Story" Alexander has earned the main event spot in his Checkmate debut for his work that he put in outside of Checkmate, winning his respective division for the "Alliance World Championship" Tournament where he has to face some very tough competition but prevailed and finished all of his wins by way of TKO, he has since gone under new management and will look to put on a performance of a lifetime to keep his high ranking in the division and put everyone on notice! The Australia native Zane is currently on a 5 fight win streak and all of them have cam by way of TKO, 3 of them being in the very first round! He has looked impressive in his MMA career so far and he will try to look even better under the bright lights of Checkmate!

Bloode will be doing everything in his power to make sure that doesn't happen, but MMA was not the first choice of occupation for the Oklahoma India native. Bloode first had dreams of being a lawyer, when that career was shut down he had to return to a, quote "penniless and without prospects to the patch of dirt he had called home as a child. All that was left was a hatchet and his grandfather's tattered feather headdress. Into the plains he rode." and since then he has become a successful fighter, he came to Checkmate a perfect 3-0 before his debut where he met Mason Edwards and lost by way of submission in the second round, Bloode had dominated the first round and gave Edwards a nasty cut before getting caught in the second. A redemption story is what his life has been built on and now he will look to do the same with his MMA life, but can he do it? or will Alexander improve his winning streak to 6?

This is gonna be Checkmate's first midweek event and I am pumped to see the results!

Disrespected bubba wallace ain't on these heavyweight rankings... I turned down big offers to come here and it's not a good start

I apologize for that, I was gonna send a message/post out soon about how the rankings will work. Since we now have a full set of rankings it is required that the fighter have at least one fight in the org before receiving a ranking, the fighters that are ranked but haven't fought for us yet have been ranked for a few updates before this rule. I truly appreciate Bubba signing with us and I believe he can be something really big. He already has the most hype + pop in the division and 8-0 record is insane, that's why I set him up with the #3 ranked guy. Win or lose Bubba will get a ranking next to his name, he just has to get that first fight in. I honestly was even thinking about going ahead and ranking him in this update, but since this week has been super busy and the fight is next Saturday I figured I would wait to do it then, but like I said, win or lose he is a big draw and should be taken seriously by the division so he will be ranked. There is also a 205er named Ivan "Bricks" Kalcevski that I am waiting for the same thing with, he is 7-0 and is currently second in hype + pop for 205 but just needs that first fight in the org.

- Checkmate Championship 2 Preview -

Logopit_1593760006964.jpg?width=479&heig

Checkmate Championship 2 will be held in the wonderful city of Amsterdam inside the Hard Knocks Arena (3,000) and we have 20 fighters that are eager to get into the cage! With that being said, let's get to the previews!

In our first bout of the night, we will see a Lightweight clash between newcomer Samuel Jordans (0-1) (0-0 in CC) take on Checkmate vet TwoPiece Soda (2-3) (2-3 in CC)

Jordans will be making his Checkmate debut in this bout and he will be looking for redemption after coming short in his pro-MMA debut in a title fight in another organization. He is a well-rounded fighter in the striking department and has proficient wrestling and is a purple belt in BJJ, he will now be looking to display his skills and make an impressive debut and take out a man who has been in the Checkmate cage for his whole pro career.

That man is TwoPiece Soda who has had a rocky ride here at Checkmate and has been in some really tough fights, but he always puts up a fight, his most recent memorable fight was the fight of the night performance back in the first round of "The Crowning" tournament where he just barely came up short in a decision, but with that in the past can he start to turn his pro career around and break his 2 fight losing streak?

Next up we will see two Featherweight's who will be looking to pick up their first Checkmate win when we see Pull "Antt" Plugger (2-2) (0-1 in CC) vs Bronson "Wolf" Komaroff (1-3) (0-1 in CC)

The 19-year-old Finland native Pull "Antt" Plugger will be looking to pick up his first win in Checkmate after being apart of the very first Featherweight fight in Checkmate when he fought now #4 ranked Featherweight Siete DiMaio back at Checkmate Contenders 2. Having already fought one of the best in the division I have to imagine that gives him a big boost of confidence that he surely bring into this fight to try to make a statement!

Across the cage from him will be a fighter with the same goal, the "Wolf" will also be looking to pick up his first win after losing his debut to a now ranked fighter in the division. Komaroff made his debut back at Checkmate Hunting Gold RD#1 against now ranked #8 Anderson Beach Boy. Like his opponent, Komaroff will also be carrying a BJJ purple belt in the cage with him. Both of these fighters have one finish by way of submission so by the looks of it I think we are gonna be in for a grapplers delight of a fight!

Next, we will see two Middleweights who are looking to claim their first victory as pro-MMA fighters when Shane Lewis (0-2)(0-0 in CC) will face An Si (0-1)(0-0 in CC)

Both of these fighters are very early in their pro careers and both will be searching for their first wins inside the cage, and what better way to pick up your first pro MMA win than to do it under the bright lights of Checkmate! Both of these fighters have a blue belt in BJJ and both have a good standup game, this fight could truly go either way and I am excited to see who will come out on top!

Up next in the Middleweight division Bunta "Tofuro" Fujiwara (0-2) (0-0 in CC) will be taking on Mitch Malone who will be making his pro-MMA debut!

Bunta "Tofuro" Fujiwara has yet to pick up a win in Pro MMA but he is still very early in his career, Fujiwara has had some very tough fights earlier on in his career and will now be looking to put his great stand up game along with his remarkable wrestling style on display for the whole world to see and look to get the win in whatever fashion he sees fit!

Standing across from him will be a fighter making his pro-MMA debut in Mitch Malone. The 20-year-old United States native will be looking to put his Wonderful Muay Thai skills to the test and try to use them to make a dominant debut in the world of professional mixed martial arts!

Now we will see debuting Potemkin Izmaylov (0-0) take on undefeated Patrick "Fighting Irish" O'Malley (2-0) (0-0 in CC) in a Welterweight bout that you will not wanna miss!

Although Potemkin Izmaylov will be making his pro-MMA debut on this card, he will have the number 9 ranked manager Whymer Van Mastodon by his side, which makes me think that he will be prepared for any and every possible way the fight could go, he might be looking to put his amazing standup game on display in his first fight with Checkmate, or perhaps he tries to use his wrestling game!

The man that will be across from him and try to make sure that doesn't happen is undefeated Patrick "Fighting Irish" O'Malley who is a perfect 2-0 in his pro MMA career, who will also have a great manager to back him in Arno van Rensburg who currently has two undefeated fighters inside Checkmate Championship! O'Malley is a very well rounded fighter with wonderful boxing skills and a BJJ purple belt, but it seems like he chooses to keep that in his back pocket as both of his wins have come by way of first-round TKO/KO!

Next up we will see two Heavyweights that are looking to pick up a big win in the shark tank that is the Checkmate Heavyweight division when we see Big "Body" Thompson (1-1)(0-0 in CC) vs Deontay DJ (1-2) (0-0 in CC)

The Paris native Thompson will be looking to improve to 2-1 in pro-MMA, after picking up his first win in his pro career in his last outing in just 0:35 seconds he has become very fond of that feeling and will look to add another win to his record.

But that will be no easy task, as Deontay DJ also tasted victory for the first time in his last bout and does not wanna end his win streak early. DJ has fought in other orgs in the 265+ division for his whole career, but now in his Checkmate debut, he will also be making his 265-pound debut.

Both of these fighters are very evenly matched and this could very well be a great back and forth bout!

In our next bout, we will see a Welterweight clash between Alex "Never Quit" Steel Ii (1-2) (1-0 in CC) and Blackout Mane (2-1) (0-0 in CC)

Steel Ii had an impressive first-round KO in his first fight with Checkmate Championship and with his first fight under the bright lights over the "Never Winter" Canada native will look to shine brighter than any light and add yet another win on his resume!

But in order to do that he must face Blackout Mane who is on a two-fight win streak and has no intentions to let that go to waste, he has two back to back armbar submission victories, but he also has a great stand up game, which means this fight can end everywhere at any time!

I am personally very excited to see this next fight when these two ranked Lightweights go head to head with #5 Bastian "The Basmanian Devil" Berzerker (5-1 in CC) (3-1 in CC) taking #7 Volodymyr "The Truth" Pravda (3-1) (1-0 in CC)

Bastian "The Basmanian Devil" Berzerker is a highly respective Checkmate vet that has been fighting in our org since Checkmate Fight Night 3, he has been a top contender ever since joining Checkmate and in this fight, he can really prove to the fans why he has always been a high-level competitor. He is coming off his one and only defeat in pro-MMA in his last fight when he fought now #1 ranked Lightweight contender Carlos Villarreal in the second round of the "The Crowning" tournament. After the loss, he took some time off to train a lot more, and now he is ready to show the world what he can do.

Volodymyr "The Truth" Pravda is currently on a 2 fight win streak and he will be looking to add to that number by picking up the biggest win of his career, Pravda made good on his Checkmate debut at "Checkmate To The Throne RD#1" where he took out "The Crowning" competitor Magnus V Karlson by TKO in the first round, Karlson later retired after that fight. Pravda also has a win over AWC runner up Diego Diaz outside of Checkmate. "The Truth" Is a brown belt in BJJ but has finished all 3 of his wins by way of TKO. The Ukraine native will do everything in his power to get his hand raised. But will it be enough?

With the main event of this card being for the Lightweight Title you know both of these ranked Lightweights will be looking to really put a stamp on their performance to try to impress the matchmakers and the crowd! They both have great managers behind them and I believe they are gonna give it their all! Which means we should hold on to our hats because I think this fight could very well be FOTN.

Now for the Co-Main event that is for the Checkmate Featherweight title! We have defending champion & Checkmate "To The Throne" tournament winner, Rikuto "The Dragon" Ryuunosuke (5-0) (2-0 in CC) taking on the #1 ranked Featherweight contender Magnificent Chulalongkorn (3-1) (1-0 in CC) in what we all know will be an electrifying Co-Main event!

The champ Rikuto "The Dragon" Ryuunosuke is a perfect 5-0 inside pro-MMA and is currently 2-0 inside the Checkmate cage, and in those two fights he has already managed to take out two of the top Featherweights inside Checkmate, has won the "To The Throne" tournament series, won the inaugural Featherweight belt and is already tied for third-most submission in the org! Rikuto is coming off a submission of the night victory in his last fight when he also won the 145-pound strap. He has finished 4/5 of his fights by submission and has a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Rikuto was also the 145 champion in Conquest when we merged, so being a champion is nothing new for "The Dragon".

However, what is new, is the contender he will be facing, a man unlike anyone he has faced before, a man that has moved up 5, yes 5 weight classes to take on a new challenge. Magnificent Chulalongkorn moved all the way up to 205 to face Blake Phoenix (who now is ranked #1 in our 205 division and is challenging for the title soon) and Chulalongkorn was the first and still the only man to take Blake Phoenix Decision, now Chulalongkorn did come up short in that fight but it wasn't without a fight, it was a fantastic fight and he had some great moments! After that we merged with Conquest and Chulalongkorn was signed to our 145-pound division where he defeated respected prospect Charles Manson, and that victory is what earned him this very title shot. Chulalongkorn is an extremely well-rounded fighter and will need every trick in his toolbox to try to dethrone the champ!

A feared submission artist vs a man with no fears, who comes out on top of this fight? And still or and new??????

ANNNNNNDDDD NOWWWWWW, THE MOMENT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FORRRRRR, THIS IS THE MAAAAIIIIINNN EEVVVVVEENTTT OF THE EVENING!!!!

You better hold on to your seats because this fight is gonna be good! We have 155 pound Champion Chief "Crazy" Aztec (9-0) (7-0 in CC) taking on #3 ranked Yut Han (4-0) (1-0 in CC) this fight is gonna be crazy!

Chief "Crazy" Aztec has been one of, if not the most dominant fighter in the organization, he is a flawless 9-0 overall and 7-0 in Checkmate. He won the 155 division of the tournament "The Crowning" and he has also taken out some of the best in the division, he has defeated the #1 contender twice, just defending his belt against #2 and will now be looking to add the #3 contender to his list, he has got some insane power in his hands and has finished every single one of his wins by TKO/KO and 3 of those were KOTN bonuses. I was fortunate enough to get to sit down and get an interview with Chief a little earlier and that will be its own post so keep your eyes peeled for that but I can tell you he has made some bold predictions for the fans and betters out there!

His opponent is no slouch, in fact, he is probably gonna be one Aztec's hardest fights to date. Yut Han is a perfect 4-0 in pro-MMA, 3 of those wins coming by way of the first-round TKO. Han made a statement when he had his debut fight with Checkmate, taking out top contender Manja Sha by a Unanimous Decision, after a performance like that we thought he had to be next in line for a shot at the title. He has wonderful wrestling and can pretty much take his opponents down at will, and when he gets you down, you better know how to protect your face because he some vicious ground and pound. all 3 of his TKO wins have come by way of ground and pound, and once he gets on top of you it is virtually impossible to get back up but getting his opponent down will be the biggest challenge if he can do that, he might can take down the giant that is Chief "Crazy" Aztec.

A Lightweight Title fight for the ages! Two undefeated fighters that will do everything in their power to keep ahold of their 0s. One a dominant champion, and one a hungry prospect, who will leave with the belt around their waist?!?!?
