- CHECKMATE FIGHT NIGHT 1 PREVIEW -

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1577938395PSX_20200101_230641.jpg

Checkmate Fight Night 1 will be held Jan, 5th 2020 at the Micro Arena (400) in the beautiful City of Amsterdam. We have 18 fighters that can't wait to start the game of human chess.

The first two fighters to step into the Checkmate Championship cage will be Marv "Ecstasy" Nemera (0-1) and Ramo "Celo" Jabenjas (0-0)

This bout is very important to CC (Checkmate Championship) because it is our very first fight and hate to sound cheesy but for that, we would like to thank all the fighters on this card for making that happen and we hope these two savor this moment for it will never happen again.

Now on to the preview...

Nemera is coming off a submission loss in his PRO MMA debut and wants to turn his record around starting right now, he has a purple belt in BJJ and will be looking for that sub, across from him will be Ramo "Celo" Jebenjas who will be making his PRO MMA debut. he has remarkable boxing and will be seeking that KO punch, who will get their way?

In the second bout, we have Willy "The Wrestler" Graham (0-0) VS Shao Khan (0-0)

This bout is a classic striker vs wrestler. If the nickname doesn't give it away already, Willy "The Wrestler" Graham is a wonderful wrestler who is looking to out power his opponent, standing across from him will be high-level boxer, Shao Khan, with his wonderful boxing he is gonna look to keep this fight on the feet and KO his opponent, these fighters both share the same manager and this was requested by him, so my guess is these two are fighting to be the favorite.

Next we have Demetrious "ColeTrain" Coles (1-0) VS Martin "Digger" Chandler (0-0)

Coles is coming off his successful PRO MMA debut where he won via Unanimous DEC back at the end of 2019 Chandler looks like he has a wrestling background, but we won't know until he steps into the Checkmate Cage.

In the fourth bout on the night we have a superstar matchup with Hollywood Hitter (0-0) taking on Eriks "KB" Podkalns (1-1)

Hollywood Hitter is currently the leader in hype and pop in the heavyweight division, and with his strong boxing style as well as a blue belt in BJJ he seems to be well rounded, but on the other side of the cage will be the second leader in hype and pop in the heavyweight division Eriks "KB" Podkalns, he is coming off a KO loss in his last fight and does not want that to happen again, he has wonderful Muay Thai and a blue belt in jiu-jitsu, this fight promises to be a clash worth watching. The question is, who will extend their hype train?

In our fifth fight of the night, we will see Craig Jordan (1-0) VS Rubber "Bender" McBendy (1-1)

Jordan is currently 1-0 in PRO MMA and has no plans on getting a loss on his record, he has superb wrestling along with a BJJ blue belt and his win inside the cage came via submission in the first round. However, McBendy has his BJJ purple belt and would love for this fight to end up on the canvas with his win inside the cage also coming via submission. excited to see how this fight takes place.

Now we will see Yuwanah "Ligma" Buhlshk (0-0) VS Rand "The Dragon" Al Thor (0-1)

Buhlshk is a Wonderful Muay Thai fighter fighting, born and raised in Bulgaria he looks to make good on his PRO MMA as well as his CC debut. Looking to stop that dream is Al Thor who is coming off a loss back in DEC 2019, he has earned his BJJ purple belt and is only 18 years of age, that's a hard accomplishment, I look forward to this striker vs grappler showdown.

Next, we have a bout in the 205 division where Gustav "Gus" Rinaldi (5-11) VS Schwifty "Schwifty" McIrish (0-1)

The PRO MMA vet Gustav is coming off a win after going on a steep losing streak, McIrish is coming off a loss in his PRO MMA debut but looks to make good on his Checkmate Championship debut and is hunting for his first win.

Up next we have our CO-MAIN EVENT of the night where we will see TwoPiece Soda (0-0) VS Rocky "The Falcon" Falcone (1-1) in the Lightweight division

Soda is looking to "pop" off in his debut. he is currently a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also has some decent boxing to go with it. a well-rounded fighter? or are the papers wrong and he is a specialist in disguise? nonetheless, Falcone wants to end this fight as soon as possible, he is coming off his first PRO MMA loss where he suffered a KO loss, before that he made good on his PRO debut where he won via Unanimous DEC. A hungry debut fighter VS a fighter wanting redemption. who gets the nod?

In our MAIN EVENT OF THE NIGHT, we have a highly anticipated Welterweight clash between Urban Fighter sponsored Dave "Turbo" Bauwe (1-0) VS Van "Bones Jr" Der Veer Jr (0-0)

Bauwe is coming off a dominating debut where he won a Unanimous 30-27 x 3 Decision back at the end of 2019, he has wonderful boxing and I fully expect we will see that on display in this bout. Standing across from him is the debuting grappler Der Veer JR, he is making his move to PRO MMA after he tested waters in TWGC 27 grappling tournament where he was up on points but got caught in a submission and was forced to tap, however, I expect him to have the grappling edge over his opponent, which sets this bout up to be a classic striker vs grappler, who will oppose their will first?

Checkmate Fight Night 2 Preview

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1579298374Logopit_1579245372190.jpg

Checkmate Fight Night 2 will be held in the great City of Amsterdam and will be held inside the Paddy O'Malleys Bar (700)

In our first fight of the night, we have Jaxorus "Jaxor" Imendos (0-1)(0-0 in CC) VS Ramo "Celo" Jebenjas (0-1)(0-1 in CC)

Both fighters are returning after losing their Pro MMA debuts and are looking to get their first win inside the Checkmate Championship cage!

In our second bout of the night, we have returning victors Van "Bones Jr" Der Veer Jr (1-0)(1-0 in CC) VS Rand "The Dragon" Al Thor (1-1)(1-0 in CC)

Veer Jr is coming off a main event submission victory back at our first event, that win has motivated him to keep thriving inside the CC cage, Al Thor also made good on his CC debut with a submission victory in the first round back at our first event, seems like this will be a grapplers delight!

Next up is Exeudo "The Frightmare" Oni (2-2)(0-0 in CC) VS Greyson Snow "Storm" (0-1)(0-0 in CC)

Both of these fighters are gonna be stepping foot inside the CC cage for the first time, who can control and overcome the nerves?

Now we will see Rendi "Babo" Kurton (0-1)(0-0 in CC) VS Tank Abbott Tribute (0-0)

Not a whole lot I can say about either fighter, Kurton is coming off a loss and Tribute is making his pro-MMA debut, so all I can say is keep an eye out for this fight because they are both looking to prove themselves.

Next, we will see two fighters undefeated inside the CC cage with Martin "Digger" Chandler (1-0)(1-0 in CC) VS Marv "Ecstasy" Nemera (1-1)(1-0 in CC)

Both of these fighters made good on their Checkmate Championship debuts and now are looking to continue running with their wins. Chandler won his CC debut with a dominant Dec win, Nemera didn't let the judges get a say in his fight, where he ended it short and sweet with a beautiful armbar in the first round.

Next up is Clinch King "Razor" Smash Machine (0-0)(0-0 in CC) VS Willy "The Wrestler" Graham (1-0)(1-0 in CC)

not much can be said about Machine as he is making his Pro MMA debut under the bright lights of Checkmate Championship Octagon, Graham, on the other hand, has already stepped foot in the CC cage and knows exactly how to handle the pressure, he showed us that back on Checkmate Fight Night 1 where he won via TKO in the second round!

Now we will see Mirza "Bradati" Beg (1-0)(0-0 in CC) VS TwoPiece Soda (1-0) (1-0 in CC)

Mirza won his MMA debut by way of submission (RNC) and says he wants to get his arms around the neck of Soda and end the bout early, Soda made good on his Checkmate Championship debut and is looking to continue his winning ways, with his win also coming by way of submission (RNC) he says that he is gonna be the one sinking in the submission in this match.

Next up we will see Alen Zalac (1-0)(0-0 in CC) VS Federico "Granite" Moore (3-1)(0-0 in CC)

Both fighters are making their CC debut and neither wont to take a loss on their promotional debuts, Zalac in coming off a unanimous decision win in his last outing and looks to pick up another win, Moore is coming off three first-round KOs, since losing his first Pro MMA fight Moore has been perfect inside MMA and is looking to continue his win streak and make his name known inside the Checkmate Promotion.

In our CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING! We will get the pleasure of seeing Joe Nolan (2-0)(0-0 in CC) VS Eriks "KB" Podkalns (1-2)(0-1 in CC)

The Paraguay Native Nolan is fresh off of two impressive back to back first-round knockout wins and says he will be looking to knock Podkalns block off as soon as the bell rings to make a statement in his Checkmate Championship debut, but there's somebody that doesn't like that idea, and that is none other than "KB" Podkalns, he is coming off a loss in his CC debut at our last event and says he will not let that happen again, Podkalns win has also come by way of knockout, however, I fully expect him to try to get the KO artist Nolan to the ground where he will have a grappling advantage, can he do it? can he be the first fighter to give Nolan his first Pro MMA loss? or will Nolan make quick work of him as he has with his last opponents? Only time will tell.

And NOW THE BOUT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING TO SEE, THE MAIN, EVENT, OF, THE EVENING! We have two undefeated Pro MMA fighters who are both ready to put it all on the line and keep their perfect records when we see Adrian Burnham (2-0)(0-0 in CC) VS Craig Jordan (2-0)(1-0 in CC)

Burnham is a hyped up and comer in Checkmate Championship who has made quick money off of his last opponents by finishing them both in the first round, however, the Tajikistan Native walking boxing clinic will be moving up in weight class for this fight, he insists that will have no effect on the fight, and I believe him, he is going to be showcasing his boxing skills as soon as the round starts so don't blink, across from him will be another up and comer Craig Jordan, Jordan made good on his Checkmate debut where he won a unanimous decision over Rubber McBendy, 155 is his home weight class and says he is gonna make Burnham feel every extra pound he will have over him, this fight will most certainly be a barn burner and keep fans on the edge of their seats! What a main event!

- Checkmate Contenders 1 Co-main/Main event Showcase -

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1583549288Logopit_1583542752233.jpg

Checkmate Contenders 1 will be held in The Underground - Amsterdam (1,000) Arena!

We have got 20 fighters (13 of which are ranked contenders!) that are all hungry for a shot at the top!

let's go straight to the Co-Main and Main event of the night!

In our Co-Main event of the night, we will see #4 LHW Willy "The Wrestler" Graham (2-1)(2-1 in CC) VS #1 LHW Clinch King "Razor" Smash Machine (2-0)(2-0 in CC)

This is our only Light-Heavyweight fight of the night and boy is it a big one! A rematch of two of the top-ranked contenders in the division, both of these fighters have spent their whole Pro MMA career inside the bright lights of the Checkmate Championship Cage, but no fight has been bigger for these two fighters then this, the fight to prove who deserves that #1 rank spot.

The last time we saw these two fighters clash was Machine's Checkmate Championship Debut back at Checkmate Fight Night 2, Graham was 1-0 at the time, coming off a second-round TKO win against Shao Khan. In their first bout, Graham made the mistake to clinch with the "Clinch King" and it resulted in a nasty cut and vicious knees that lead to the TKO stoppage, however, Graham has brushed that loss off his shoulders and returned at Checkmate fight night 4 where he showcased a wrestling clinic and won a dominant unanimous decision, since their last bout CKSM has also been busy, picking up another first-round TKO win back at Checkmate Fight Night 3 against Tri Quang Van. "The Wrestler" wants to redeem his only loss in Pro MMA and improve to 3-1, meanwhile "Razor" wants to keep his undefeated record intact and improve to 3-0, but only one can leave with the #1 beside their name, who will it be?

In our MAIN EVENT of the star-studded contenders night, we will see two undefeated ranked Heavyweight contenders! when #3 HW Santas B*tch (3-0)(2-0 in CC) takes on the #1 ranked HW Brian Snow (5-0)(CC Debut)

SB has put together a perfect string of KO/TKO wins, his most recent being a first-round KO back at Checkmate Fight Night 4, The Eritrea Native has some serious KO power and plans to do nothing more then send his opponent crashing into the canvas, but standing across the cage from him is none other then #1 ranked Brian Snow who is a perfect 5-0 and will not go down that easy, he also has a perfect TKO/KO finishing rate with all 5 of his wins coming by way of KO or TKO, he also has faced the better competition and has finished them all in the first round! My guess is someone is going to sleep in this one! but who will take the fall first and take their first Pro MMA loss?

- This card will also see -

#2 MW Shawn Michaels (4-0)(CC Debut) VS #1 MW One Wonder (5-0)(CC Debut)

#2 LW Bastion Berzerker (3-0) (1-0 in CC) VS #3 LW Connor MacLeod (3-0)(1-0 in CC)

#4 HW Olusola Oni (2-2)(1-0 in CC) VS #5 HW Hollywood Hitter (1-2)(1-2 in CC)

#4 MW Marc Vos (2-0)(1-0 in CC) VS #5 MW Jaxorus Imendos (1-1)(1-0 in CC)

Yuwanah Buhlshk (1-1)(1-1 in CC) VS #2 WW Van Der Veer Jr (2-0)(2-0 in CC)

Anthony McGregor (Pro MMA Debut) VS Rudy Giuliani (1-1)(CC Debut)

Rocky Falcone (3-4)(0-2 in CC) VS Craig Jordan (2-2)(1-2 in CC)

Eli Dorado (0-1)(0-1 in CC) VS Jorge Adesanya (0-2)(0-1 in CC)

CHECKMATE : THE CROWNING

Yes you read that correctly! Checkmate Championship will be crowning our first two champions!

We are gonna hold a random draw tournament style bracket to crown our champs!

The first two divisions that will be apart of this event will be the 155 and 265 division!

The top 5 contenders automatically get entered, along with 3 wildcards!

I personally have worked very hard and stayed up late to get this done tonight, it has been a work in progress for weeks now, but it is finally here!

there will be a 8 man tournament bracket for each the 155 and 265 division, it will have 3 rounds with each round being on a different event 2 weeks apart from each other, so your fighter has some time to rest and train for his next fight!

the rounds will consist of the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Finals, it will be a single elimination tournament so if you lose your out, but don't worry, you will still get fights just not for the title, yet, but get a win streak going and you will be a challenger soon!

like stated above the top 5 contenders will be automatically entered and 3 wildcards will also make it to the bracket (1 wildcard from each division is still up for grabs and will be decided by this Saturdays card!)

The offers for the first round will be sent out ASAP (all offers for the tournament will be sent out after this weekends event!)

I will list the fighters who made it into the tournament down below, and I will be releasing more news about the tournament and how it will works in the upcoming days, but for now here is the list of the fighters that made it!

155

The top 5 contenders!

Adrian Burnham (4-0)

Bastian Bezerker (4-0)

Carlos Villarreal (2-0)

Connor MacLeod (3-1)

TwoPiece Soda (2-1)

Along with these 3 wildcards!

Magnus V Karlson (3-2)

Rocky Falcone (4-4)

and the last wildcard for 155 will be named after this weekends event!

Now onto the 265 division

The top 5 contenders!

Jon Nolan (4-0)

Test "Lets See" Run (5-0)

Brian Snow (5-1)

Olusola "The Destroyer" Oni (3-
2)

Magnus Iii Karlson (4-1)

Along with these wildcard hopefuls!

Phy Ter (5-2)

Peter Schumacher (4-2)

And the last wildcard for the 265 division will also be named after the next event!

And If you don't have a fighter in either division don't worry! We will be crowning champions in all the divisions soon enough, and if your fighter did not make the cut, keep winning and become a top contender and you will see a title shoot soon enough!

I have also booked another Fight Night card so keep your eyes out for offers!

That's all for now! keep playing the human game of chess and don't stop until you get that checkmate!
