Epicity Productions presents
Afterlife
Zhou vs Crus

Hello everyone, this past month has been an absolute pleasure to work with you all. I think this org has started out wonderfully and our event ratings for the first few shows has been pretty decent considering we start with no hype. We have only had a few hiccups and Afterlife will end up being our smallest card yet at 7 fights which is still pretty decent. The great news is our upcoming cards are coming along in excellent fashion and I'm really excited to see where we go from here.

If you haven't noticed, we now have a merch partner with Walhalla Clothing. Turbo is a great guy and it's been a pleasure to work with him so far. He has been making sure to send sponsorship to everyone on the card, if he missed you by any chance please contact him and he will set you up. Also, if you set your post fight speech to thanking your sponsor it gives a nice hype boost and helps up build ourselves up the rankings.

Sorry for not giving previews & reviews earlier but I have been really busy and I am doing everything by myself at the moment.

So let's start with our next card, Afterlife. I will start from the bottom.

AJ Mckenzie vs Young Buck:

Our first fight of the evening is going to be a match up between two young prospects who are 18 and 19 respectively. Both of these fighters are very similar and have focus most of their skills early on to striking and wrestling. While Young Buck clearly has the edge in boxing, Mckenzie clearly has the edge in wrestling and it will be interesting to see if he can use that to his advantage. McKenzei wins this fight in the clinch and if he stands and trades with Buck he could find himself with his first loss. This should be a great fight between these two young fighters.

Johnny Johnson vs Tapor Breakbones:

The 5-0 Johnny Johnson will make his EP debut against another fighting making his EP debut although he has been waiting awhile for this. This, in my opinion, could end up being a trap fight if Breakbones can get him to the ground and work his BJJ game. However, he is facing a guy who has a tremendous striking advantage and Tapor has none. Tapor might learn his lesson for the third time in a row hear that you need striking in this sport. I won't count him out though and he's shown he's no slouch when you enter his world. Should be intriguing to see if Tapor can make this a fight.

Snich Clinchwork vs Aidan "The Clock" McVeigh:

This is one of the fights on the card that I am actually looking forward to the most. Snich is fresh off his MMA and EP debut with a thrashing TKO of Jack Black. He looked impressive with what little time we have seen from him. His opponent on the other hand has much more experience coming into Epicity. He is 9-4 and has competed in multiple organizations. He is also a former Island fighter who has found a new home in Las Vegas. Despite the experience advantage this is actually a really close fight when it comes to their skills. Both are skilled muy thai fighters and Clinchwork lives up to his name with the advantage in this category. Aidan has better wresting however which also plays a big part in who can control who in the clinch. Should be a great fight even if the rating doesn't reflect my opinion.

Greg "Sir Kicks a lot" Smith vs Travis "Bam Bam" Davies

An evenly matched fight between two middleweights who both have had rocky starts to their career. Smith is a very skilled striker for his age and has exceptional stats in both boxing and muy thai. His striking is extremely dangerous but he lost in his debut fight being submitted by Baba. This showed the holes in his game and he now faces an opponent who is well rounded across the board. It's been known that well rounded fighters succumb to fights with specialty skills in certain areas. Davies is coming into this fight looking to disprove that assumption and hopefully use his skills to his advantage. He took Hoop down in his last fight against another skilled striker but was unable to finish him on the ground. Smith will be looking for the KO and Davies will be looking to do better than he did in his last fight and finish his opponent while he has the chance.

Julio "The Tiger " Cortez vs Johnny "Big Blitz" Yager:

As we dive further into the card we get our first higher hyped fighter on the card. Julio Cortez is 4-2 and has shown his ground skills 4 times over with submission finishes in all four victories. Ironically he lost his last fight by kimura which seems to be his own signature move. He will SURELY be looking to redeem himself after that loss. These opponents are complete opposites of each other. While Cortez is a ground expert, the more experiences Yager is a pure striker and will clearly be looking for the knock out. Both fighters strengths play into their opponents weaknesses so we will see who can capitalize first. Expect a first round finish from either fighter.

"General" Qasem Suleimani vs Chris "Xtreme" Johnson:

Our co-main event of the evening futures two fighters who don't have the most hype or a high p4p rating. Some would say this is a bad spot for this fight but these two fighters have already proven their skills are worthy. Chris Johnson at 3-8 could have easily called it quits and retired. Many thought he was on his way out with his incredible SEVEN loss streak. Then he got himself together and got the calling from Epicity Productions. In his debut he made the most of his opportunity and handily gained back some honor as he took out ALL of his frustration out on Rugal Gracie giving him a quick 27 second trashing. Chris Johnson is back in the game and he now takes a much bigger step up in competition. Qasem is only 2-1 but has already got people buzzing because of his clear undeniable talent. He is only 20 years old but already a sensational boxer who looks for the knock out. In his debut he also finished his opponent in under a minute. Johnson is more well rounded but Qasem's boxing might be the deciding factor here. Don't count Johnson out tho, Qasem has been knocked out before and Chris Johnson's rage might surprise the world again.

Shock "Awe" Zhou vs Chris "The Whirlwind" Cruz:

The main event of the evening!! With the title fight for this event scrapped, these two stepped up to save the event and be the stars of the show. Needless to say, they are already stars. This is a match up I wanted as soon as they were both signed by EP and it happens right off the bat. Shock is a very good striker with an awesome 12 knock outs to his name. He is well rounded but still has that specialty skill that makes him a huge threat. His is much more experienced and that could play a deciding factor in our main event. Chris Cruz is a star in the making. From what we've seen so far he is an excellent clinch fighter with sensational boxing to dirty box his opponents until they go to sleep. He has a slight boxing advantage but loses the striking advantage when you factor in Zhou's muy thai skills. Cruz' wrestling will most likely be the deciding factor of our main event. Zhou needs to keep this at a distance and Cruz needs to close the gap. This will be an interesting scenario to see play out. Who will get back on track and start their Epicity career with a win? Will it be the Whirlwind or Awe Zhou?! We will find out tonight!

Epicity Productions presents
EP 9
Miller vs Octavius
Hello gents, gals or whatever bi-species person you may be (I don't judge). My name is Dick Hardwood, CEO and manager of everyday operations of Epicity Productions. First things first, I am very impressed with our last show, we jumped up the rankings and are moving up the Highstreet in the most crowded city for orgs in the game. Our progress has been steadily improving more and more and as I continue to learn from any mistakes and continue to bring in solid talent I am confident our rise in Las Vegas will only continue. There is a few big names ahead but I'm confident in our current roster and the incoming talent. 220k is the future stars of Tycoon and as we grow our fighters will gradually overcome.
Side Note: I really don't believe I need to explain what being a champion means... accepting the shot and becoming the champion means your fighter should be the best and he will take on the best as far as p4p/hype/popularity goes. I am pretty flexible and if you have any issues as long as they aren't backbreaking I will try and work with you.
Let's take a look at our last event... We had our highest event rating in 142.80 last night at EP 9: Miller vs Octavius last night and it could of been even higher with a few better fights. All in all it was a good event and we crowned our first Lightweight champion.
Ziadouh (1-0)
vs
Dawg (2-4)
The 25 year old Dawg takes on the young 19 year old Ivan and despite the age gap, this one is one-sided from the start by Ziadouh. He immediately rocks Dawgs and looks to finish but Dawg does a good job of keeping himself, albeit only momentarily as we would go back to the feet only to get knocked down by a huge right hand and finished in the mount. A good win for the young Ziadouh and a step back for Dawg.
Rabago (5-1)
vs
Moczymorda (8-3)
The next fight of the evening futures a former title contender in Adam Rabago facing off against newcomer Jacek Mocymorda. The first round is mostly fought at range with both fighters getting shots in but Rabago getting cut and eventually takedown by Moc. Rabago minimizes the takedown and gets a stand up by the ref. The rest of the round would be both fighters missing shots but Rabago does manage to return the favor by cutting Moc as well. Round 2 starts off with Rabago landing shots but then takedown once again. Rabago gets the sweep and what follows is an awesome round of back of forth sweeps and submission attempts. This was a tricky round to score. Round 3 starts with Moc getting the takedown but doing nothing with it and getting stood up. Rabago would continue to stuff takedowns for most of the round and land a few shots tho he misses most. Moc gets one more takedown before the end of the fight which surely muddles the scoring as we get a difference of opinion with the judges and end up with a Majority Draw decision. Surely a rematch coming.
Kozlov (9-8)
vs
White (3-1)
In our next bout we finally see White step into the cage and it's against another newcomer in Kozlov. White is a clear;y distance fighter while Kozlov a clear clinch fighter. This fight would be decided by who could assert their dominance more. Kozlov manages to get the clinch early on and lands some hard shots in the clinch but finally White breaks the clinch. White missed at distance and Kozlov gets the clinch again and things don't long good for White. However he breaks the clinch much quicker this time and keeps the fight at distance long enough to land strikes and eventually a big right hand which ends the fight and gets White his first win in EP with a big win over a vet.
Weston (7-1-1)
vs
Malone Jr (3-1)
The 7-1-1 kickboxer makes his Epicity debut against 3-1 Malone Jr(2-0 EP) in what has the makings of a stand up war. WEston immediately takes the fight into the clinch and does not relinquish that position for the entirety of the round. He outscores and dominates in the clinch in round 1, cutting Malone in the process. Big start for Weston. In round 2, the fight stays at distance and Malone starts to find his distance and lands multiple punches before dropping Weston with a big combo. Malone continues to to land strikes and lands a vicious uppercut that earns him the KO victory and a nice comeback in this bout. Big win for Malone Jr who is now 3-0 in EP and quickly rising through the ranks.
Jaa (4-3)
vs
Johnson (6-1)
The newcomer Jaa takes on Johnson who is in his third EP bout. Johnson is surely looking to regain some pride in his fight after being beaten at his own game in his last fight. Johnson starts the fight very aggressive and lands a shot through a lot of misses and gets the fight into the clinch. Jaa pulls guard successfully but this proves to be a fatal move. Johnson cuts through his guard easily and advances to side control. Johnson stays patient and looks for submissions while mixing in some ground and pound. He locks in a tight kimura and Jaa taps out at the 2:37 mark of round 1. Nice smooth win for Johnson who gets back on track.
Barclay (13-3-1)
vs
Zhou (13-8)
An interesting match up between the highly touted Barclay who is looking to get back to doing what he does best (winning) after losing to Lotus in his last fight. Zhou is also looking to get back to the winning side of things after a rough bout against the very skilled DeSilva. Neither fights wastes anytime in the opening and they immediately go to exchanging. Zhou gets the better of Barclay in the first minute. They continue to exchange with both landing but Barclay lands a huge head kick that messes Zhou up. Rocked and wobbily, Zhou gets hit with another head kick which puts him down in a tiiiiimber style knock out with earns Barclay the KO of the night.
Kung (7-2)
vs
Pennypacker (8-1-1)
Our co-main event of the evening futures a huge match up with the highest ranked fighter in the compaNy in Pennypacker makings his Epicity debut. The Middeweight champion of the now defunct Warzone takes on the man who gave him his single career loss, Stefan Kung. Both men have gone in different directions since their last fight. Pennypacker would go on to win the Warzone 185 title while Kung would come to Epicity and fight a 5 round WAR with McMann but losing in the late 5th round. This a huge opportunity for Kung to put his name back in the hat for Middleweight title contendership and for Pennypacker, it's a chance at redemption at the man who choked him out in the first round. The first round starts with Kung looking but nothing for the takedown but being easily foiled by Pennypacker who stuffs them and lands strikes of his own. The fight goes to the clinch where Pennypacker lands strike after strike while keeping the fight on the feet at all costs. We get back to distance and Pennypacker drops Kung with a big right hand. Kung recovers but continues to focus too much on the takedown and gets stuffed repeatedly as Pennypacker peppers him with strikes. Big round for Pennypacker. The second round starts out the same with Kung missing takedown attempts and Pennypacker hitting him with everything his got, landing a spinning backfist and then knocking him down with big hook. The round continues to play out the same as before but Pennypacker loses focus and Kung gets what he has been desperately looking for the entire fight, the takedown. Unfortunately the doesn't do him much good as he gets swept and mounted to end the round. Round 3 starts with missed takedowns by Kung until Pennypacker drops him with a right and then drops him again with a left but this time follows him to the ground and finishes him with strikes. Huge statement by Pennypacker in his Epicity debut.
Fun Fact: Kung went 1 for 38 in takedown attempts.
Miller (9-5-1)
vs
Octavius (8-1)
The main event of the evening is for the long awaited debut of the EP Lightweight championship. Miller is a very gifted kickboxer who has knocked his way to the top of the division while Octavius is a crafty submission artist who is dangerous but only in his own world. Round 1 begins and both fighters seem to be landing from a distance. Octavius is doing well despite the skill disa- oooh wait Miller lands a combo that puts Octavius on weeble wobble status. After a momentary clinch attempt and break, Octavius seems to get his wits back. Miller continues to batter Ocatvius with kicks and punches and Oct is helpess to get the fight to the ground. Miller lands a solid right hand that scores the first knockdown of the fight. Round 1 ends with Miller dominating the fight via kickboxing. Round 2 starts with Miller being aggressive but getting countered and knocked down by Miller and then getting countered again with punches that put him into dream land. A huge win for Miller that vaults him up the ratings into the top 1000P4P. Congrats to Jeffrey for becoming our first lightweight champion and I am sure he will represent the company well.
All things considered, this was our best event to date and the upcoming cards are shaping up to be better and better. Thanks to everyone who came to fight and as always, PM me if you need anything.
Dick out.

So Marvin Zerkle, you are the next victim who dared to step up against me. Really looking forward to this fight. You got the ground advantage, but be very aware i got fists, knees, elbows, and head kicks ready for you. i honestly dont know how you are going to stop all these possible nose-breaking weapons.

too late to duck this fight as its both ways accepted. But you can play death after you feel the power of the first punch of many to come

Embrace Thy Epicity

EP 13: Pennypacker vs Struicao is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by: Epicity Productions, in conjunction with Walhalla Clothing, and the LEGION OF DOOM fighting alliance. This event will be held on February 14, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevda, USA.

[PROLOGUE]

The middleweight championship of the world is on the line. The coveted championship belt lays vacant and two mighty contenders have stepped forward to earn their shot at global recognition. On the left, we have “Industrious” AG Pennypacker, a two time world champion that has never been defeated in a title bout. On the right, we have Dominick De Struicao, a hardened veteran of the WarZone fight league. De Struicao an Amsterdam native, will be making his first bid for championship gold.

[OFFICIAL FIGHT CARD]

[MAIN EVENT]

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Middleweight Division, Championship bout) AG PennyPacker (9-1-1) versus Dominick De Struicao (6-1)

(Preview) “Industrious” AG Pennypacker is a Dutch knockout artist. He started his professional combat career in England, where he competed as a kickboxer to earn his rent. After going undefeated in three fights, Pennypacker decided to commit to mixed martial arts full time. He started his MMA career in the London based Impact MMA promotion, amassing a perfect 4-0 record. In his final Impact fight, he claimed the world light-heavyweight championship.

Following his final show in England, he decided to move back home to Amsterdam and signed with the WarZone MMA league. In his promotional debut, Pennypacker was defeated for the first time in his life when Stefan Kung, a JuJitsu brown belt and submission specialist, submitted him in just under four minutes. Pennypacker was crushed but didn't allow this bump in the road to slow him; he won his next fight, earning him a shot at the middleweight champion, Bryan Manibusan. After a very arduous fight, Pennypacker was declared the winner, and for the second time in his life: a world champion.

He would never get the chance to defend his title as once again, the company closed before offering him an opponent. Pennypacker was offered a contract to fight for rising MMA promotion Epicity Productions, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. He happily signed the contract under the condition that he be given an immediate rematch with the other Dutchman to sign with Epicity, the only man to defeat him... Stefan Kung.

AG Pennypacker faced Kung at EP 9, delivering unto Kung a beatdown worthy of the “Daaaaaaamn!” gif from that stoner movie, 'Friday'. Pennypacker dropped Kung three times, once per round, before finishing him in the third round. The one thing that you know about AG Pennypacker is that when he shows up to fight, he is going to put on a Muay Thai clinic. He is one of the premier middleweight strikers currently fighting for Epicity.

Not one to be out done, Dominick De Struicao made his own waves in the WarZone fight league, amassing a 5-1 record with the company composed of four knockout victories. Like his opponent, AG Pennypacker, De Struicao has been defeated on one occasion: when he was out classed by a superior clinch fighter. If anything, that defeat only served to turn up the heat and increase the intensity of Dominick De Struicao.

[CO-MAIN EVENT]

(Heavyweight Division) Shezzo Wicked (7-7-1) versus Johnny Rico (3-1)

(Preview) Shezzo Wicked started his career with five consecutive defeats in the QFC arena. However, Mr. Wicked was always that kid that would stick his hand in the mouse trap, get snapped, and then stick his hand BACK in the mouse trap until the mouse trap didn't see the point anymore. In lucky number six, Shezzo Wicked won his first professionla fight in a unanimous decision. Shezzo then fought a one-off fight under an oddly designed kiddies version of GAMMA. Finally, GAMMA was fulfilling the role of the creepy uncle that always seems to have candy, by taking kids off of the street.

Shezzo Wicked won three consecutive MMA fights in a row before making the transition to professional kickboxing (as opposed to unprofessional kickboxing, right? You know, where they hit each other with pies and stuff...). Shezzo would go 3-2-1 as a kickboxer, challenging the champion for his strap along the way. Shezzo returned to MMA with a hard fought unanimous decision victory in the QFC arena (for old times sake) before being signed by Epicity Productions.

Johnny Rico, who I thought headbutted Rocky in that first movie (but that was Spider Rico, my mistake), is a freestyle fighter with aggressive Muay Thai, great offensive takedowns, and effective ground n pound which is complimented by his JuJitsu brown belt. Johnny Rico is a two-time Knockout of the Night winner that is fresh off of a one-sided victory in his Epicity debut.

[uNDERCARD]

(Lightweight Division) Aleksandr Kozlov (9-9) versus Derek Patterson (5-4)

(Preview) Aleksandr Kozlov, who totally isn't a steroid junky from Russia, boasts that he has an amateur wrestling record of 100-1 (with the 1 defeat probably comin to a polar bear or something because: Russia) and a punching power of 1400 psi. He fought for smaller promotions before being signed by Insanity MMA promotion (which my sources tell me might be the guys that started that INSANITY workout that my spyware tells me to buy). In his Insanity debut, he knocked out Jin Yamato for the lightweight championship. He would go on to successfully defend his title once before the hard times set in. Despite having but one victory in his last five fights, he is still a very dangerous and unpretictable striker.

“School Boy D” (I was more of a scool boy C+ myself) Derek Patterson is a very high level ground fighter with absolutely stunning wrestling and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Despite these qualifications, he uses his abilities to pound on opponents rather than try to submit them. He is looking for his first victory in Epicity here in his third attempt.

(Lightweight Division) Julius Octavius (8-2) versus Heisenberg White (4-1)

(Preview) Julius “Son of Rome” Octavius fought the majority of his fights under the all too friendly sounding Hostility MMA company. He would go 6-1 with the company, claiming and dropping the lightweight championship along the way. He is currently 1-1 with Epicity. Unlike School Boy D, he uses his JuJitsu brown belt to submit his opponents, and he is god damned capable of it.

Heisenberg White aka Malcolm in the Middle's Dad is a Hostility veteran and high level fisticuffs fanatic. He has a legendary iron chin, boxing that impresses even the USPS, and knockout power that would stop a mack truck. His only weakness, if you can even call it that, is that he only holds a purple belt in JuJitsu. Despite this, he has remarkable wrestling to keep him on his feet.

(Heavyweight Division) The Rock (4-1) versus Ivan Ziadouh (2-0)

(Preview) The Rock is a kickboxer and a Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. After winning his professional debut in just 56 seconds, he signed with Epicity Productions. In his debut performance with the company, he submitted his opponent in just 27 seconds. To follow that up, he knocked his next two foes out with relative ease. For his most recent fight, he faced a long time veteran and journeyman slugger Chuck Moldoon, losing for the first time in a second round knockout.

Ivan Ziadouh comes from the Diaz school of fighting in that he is a boxer and a Jiu-Jitsu fighter. In his professional debut, he submitted his opponent in under two minutes. He followed it up with a first round knockout of his second opponent. He has only fought for Epicity Productions.

(Middleweight Division) Stefan Kung (7-3) versus Travis Davies (7-8)

(Preview) Stefan Kung is the long time nemesis of AG Pennypacker. Kung started his career fighting in the WarZone fighting league, making a name for himself as a dangerous submission fighter with powerful takedowns. He won his first seven professional fights but is currently on a three fight losing skid with the most recent loss being to Pennypacker.

Travis Davies is a veteran of the extremely unfortunately named Pomplinestine Fighting Championship s where he amassed a 4-2 record and challenged for the middleweight title. He is a freestyle fighter I ntaht he tries literally everything except elbows from the clinch.

(Middleweight Division) Wilder Wein (2-0) versus Paul Crown (5-4)

(Preview) Wilder Wein is one of the highest level boxers in the promotion, rated by coaches as being a truly elite boxer. He took two fights in the regional QFC shows, literally obliterating his two opponents with ease. And I mean that literally; there is nothing left of his first two opponents except shattered atoms and crying mothers.

Paul Crown is a submission fighter with such powerful takedowns that he actually knocked someone out with one. He is very evenly skilled across the board; he is an accomplished striker (in the gym at least), a devastating wrestler, and a JuJitsu brown belt.

EP 13: Pennypacker vs Struicao - Review

http://i.imgur.com/4Ukwgif.jpg

EP 13: Pennypacker vs Struicao was a mixed martial arts event held by: Epicity Productions, in conjunction with Walhalla Clothing, and the LEGION OF DOOM fighting alliance. This event took place on February 14, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevda, USA.

[uNDERCARD]

(Middleweight Division) Wilder Wein versus Paul Crown

Round 1 - In the opening seconds of the fight, both men were swinging wildly in a furious attempt to take each other's head off. Paul Crown initiated the clinch but Wilder Wein broke free and circled back to the center of the cage. After eating a couple of decent shots, Crown dove for Wein's legs, trying to bring the fight to the ground; Wilder Wein easily stuffed the attempt. Wilder Wein connected with six solid shots to the head and body of Crown. Paul Crown was experiencing a world of hurt as Wein smelled blood and picked up the pace. Wilder Wein def. Paul Crown via KO (Punch) at 1:14 of round 1.

(Middleweight Division) Stefan Kung versus Travis Davies

Round 1 - Travis Davies clinched with Stefan Kung straight out of the gate; against the cage, Davies was landing short range punches. Stefan Kung managed to get double underhooks and score a trip takedown, landing him in the open guard of Travis Davies. As Kung worked to tighten his control from the top position, Davies threw his legs up for a quick triangle choke. Kung is a dangerous Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, and so he easily shrugged his way back into guard. Stefan Kung postured up and started landing ground and pound, and Davies capitalized on the moement and rolled into guard on top. Huge reversal for Travis Davies, who is normally known for being a brawler rather than a wrestler! As Davies worked from inside the guard, Stefan Kung grabbed the neck of Davies and put some torque on it, forcing the tap. Stefan Kung def. Travis Davies via Submission (Guillotine) at 1:23 of round 1.

(Heavyweight Division) The Rock versus Ivan Ziadouh

Round 1 - Ivan Ziadouh landed a big right hand right off the bat. Right as the commentator was raving about how Ziadouh was rumored to be training his takedowns to prepare for this fight, The Rock scored a quick trip takedown into half guard on top of Ziadouh. The Rock attempted four nearly consecutive submissions over the course of the next couple of minutes with not much coming out of it. Ziadouh managed to get back to full guard, slowing the pace down a bit with his effective bottom control. The Rock threatened with another submission, then got back to his feet. The second that Ziadouh stood, The Rock took him right back down; half guard once again. Ziadouh was working aggressively from the bottom, so The Rock stood back up once more. The Rock went for another takedown attempt, clearly trying to extend his lead on the scorecards, but Ziadouh was having none of it: he landed a few beautiful shots, using his speed and reach to get in and out. Ziadouh then scored his first takedown of the fight, landing non-ironically in half guard. This takedown conveniently rocked The Rock (heh), allowing Ziadouh to work for a submission, and control for the remainder of the round.

Round 2 - The Rock was clearly still hurt bad from that takedown earlier. He was on rubbery legs as he waited for the round to begin. The Rock went for a takedown and ran face first into the right hand of Ivan Ziadouh. Ziadouh quickly swarmed on his fallen opponent with unrelenting violence until the referee jumped in flying squirrel style a la Cecil Peoples. Ivan Ziadouh def. The Rock via TKO (Strikes) at 0:05 of round 2.

(Heavyweight Division) Shezzo Wicked versus Johnny Rico

Round 1 - Shezzo Wicked was landing shots early and freely, catching Johnny Rico with several decent blows. Johnny Rico was working very hard to take Wicked to the ground but just could not do it. Rico did manage to clinch with Shezzo for the better part of a minute but he exhausted himself trying to control against the cage and Shezzo just kept pushing forward, landing short punches. Wicked broke the clinch and immediately started working Rico with shots again. Just before the two minute mark, Johnny Rico got his long awaited takedown, landing in the guard of Shezzo Wicked. Rico passed to half guard and worked some short punches and elbows while controlling from the top position. The referee stood the fighters up and the two big men exchanged punches for the remainder of the round. Rico wanted to clinch, went for takedowns, but found no love from Shezzo Wicked.

Round 2 - Shezzo Wicked started this round out with a body kick and followed it up with kick after kick, with power punches. Johnny Rico dove into Wicked, clinching with him against the cage. From the clinch, Shezzo Wicked shrugged and said, "Okay", and continued his relentless pace of pounding on Rico. The two would spend nearly four straight minutes in the clinch with Wicked slapping Rico around throughout. After the four minute mark, Wicked broke the clinch and pounded on Rico with punches and kicks for the remainder of the round.

Round 3 - This final round was absolutely dominated by Shezzo Wicked. He was vastly superior on the feet, landing punches and kicks nearly at will. In the clinch, he was a savage, ripping Rico up with punches to the head and body. Shezzo Wicked def. Johnny Rico via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Lightweight Division) Aleksandr Kozlov versus Derek Patterson
Round 1 - Patterson ate a left hand early and dove in for a takedown. Aleksandr Kozlov stuffed it and pushed forward with wild, swinging haymakers, trying to take Derek Patterson out with one blow. Derek Patterson took a shot on the dome that cut him just under the hairline and the two fighters clinched very briefly. Both fighters were throwing strategy to the wind and just going for their game plans; Kozlov was throwing looping punches and Patterson was diving in for takedowns any chance that he got. As Patterson dove in for one takedown, Kozlov met him coming in with a big left hand that seemed to hurt him bad. Patterson took a big step back and Kozlov bum rushed him with more shots, catching him with a biggun and putting him out cold.
Aleksandr Kozlov def. Derek Patterson via KO (Punch) at 1:26 of round 1.

[CO-MAIN EVENT]

(Lightweight Division) Julius Octavius versus Heisenberg White

Round 1 - In the early goings, Heisenberg was landing the more effective shots, getting inside the kicks of Octavius and countering him with beautiful, technical shots. Julius Octavius received an early cut. Octavius sensed that he was falling behind the aggressive pace of White, so at the one minute mark, he started pushing forward at the behest of his corner. Octavius was finding no love with his takedown attempts but did land some hard shots including a spinning back kick. Two minutes in, Heisenberg White cracked Octavius with a huge right hand that wobbled Octavius and put him on the fast track to desperation takedowns, none of which landed. At the very end of the round, Octavius did manage to finally land a takedown and control for 30 seconds or so but you have to assume he lost this round in a huge way.

Round 2 - Back on the feet, Heisenberg White picked up where he left off before being taken down; hard punches, changing levels, landing counters. A minute and a half into the round, Heisenberg dropped Octavius with a right hand. Octavius got back to his feet but Heisenberg wouldn't let Octavius breathe. At the very tail end of the round, a badly bloodied Octavius ate a huge combination that sent him sprawling to the floor once again, but the round ended as he climbed to his feet.

Round 3 - With two clear rounds against him, Octavius came out hard, looking to redeem himself in this final round; he threw a spinning head kick that hit nothing but air. Heisenberg made him pay with a body shot and followed it up with a looping left hand that put Octavius down once more. This time, Heisenberg swarmed him with shot after shot, until the referee dragged him off of a badly battered Octavius. Heisenberg White def. Julius Octavius via TKO (Strikes) at 0:11 of round 3.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Middleweight Division, Championship bout) AG Pennypacker versus Dominick De Struicao

Round 1 - Pennypacker slipped the jab and responded with a shot to the body of De Struicao. Pennypacker clinched and tagged De Struicao with short range punches that hammered him against the cage. Dominick De Struicao broke the clinch and circled away, eating a couple of leg kicks before being driven back against the cage by Pennypacker. AG Pennypacker landed more shots along the cage before the two fighters circled away once again. Pennypacker scored a takedown into half guard, landing brutal ground and pound for a solid minute, until the referee stood them back up. The better part of the next minute and a half was spent with AG Pennypacker hitting Dominick De Struicao with everything up to and possibly including the kitchen sink. De Struicao cracked Pennypacker with one big right handed blow that hurt him bad, and suddenly it was De Struicao pushing forward with strikes. Pennypacker clinched and worked his opponent over with short blows again.

Round 2 - Pennypacker was once again the more aggressive fighter, landing five or six shots for every one missed shot from De Struicao. Pennypacker clinched twice in this round, working De Struicao with punches against the cage. Despite his technical ability, De Struicao picked up the pace in this round and landed some solid shots, possibly bringing the momentum in his favor.

Round 3 - Pennypacker slowed down tremendously going into this round; his aggressive pack of four, five, six shots in a row had slowed to one or two looping shots that hit air. De Struicao landed a nice body shot, followed by an uppercut and a beautiful jab. Pennypacker, sensing that he was getting the short end of these exchanges, brought De Struicao to the ground, landing in guard. Pennypacker was landing some thunderous strikes from the dominant position but De Struicao timed his momentum and reversed him, landing in guard on top. De Struicao tried to control from on top, possibly stalling for a referee standup, but Pennypacker reversed back into the top guard once again. As De Struicao worked to sweep again, or possibly for a submission, Pennypacker passed to half guard. As Pennypacker worked the short shots from the top position, De Struicao exploded his way to his feet.

Back on the feet, Pennypacker was trying to land with the same ferocity that won him the early goings, but De Struicao was getting the better of him with crisp and technical strikes. This was a very close round that could have gone either way.

Round 4 - Pennypacker landed a beautiful right hook but De Struicao responded with a punching combination that backed the man up. As Pennypacker swung with another hook, De Struicao caught him with an overhand left followed by a big right hand that dropped Pennypacker once more. Pennypacker got to his feet one more time and ran face first into a right hand that put him back on the ground, badly hurt; De Struicao swarmed him with follow-up strikes and the referee halted the bout. Dominick De Struicao def. AG Pennypacker via KO (Punches) at 0:27 of round 4 to become the NEW Undisputed Epicity Middleweight Champion of the World!

[EPILOGUE]

Following a dominant first round by AG Pennypacker, Dominick De Struicao managed to change the momentum of the fight with a constant pressure on the feet. And now Dominick De Struicao is the undisputed middleweight champion of the world!

Epicity has finally cracked the top 50. It took longer than I wanted but that is a 20 rank rise in not too much time. I am hopeful to our chances to keep rising and next crack the top 30. Our talent level is rising more and more and we have a slew of good managers to help push us along. Hoarse has been amazing with keeping our org up to date with great Previews and Reviews and he deserves a big kudos for that. We are in a tough city, the most crowded for orgs in the game so it's also the toughest to survive BUT we are doing it and will continue to persevere and that's thanks to all our wonderful managers and their fighters.

EP 14: Bubberman vs Hardon is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by: Epicity Productions, in conjunction with Walhalla Clothing, and the LEGION OF DOOM fighting alliance. This event will be held on February 21, 2015 at The Palmtree Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevda, USA.

[PROLOGUE]

Light-heavyweight Champion Berry Bubberman will be defending his new title for the first time as he takes on the dangerous Medium Hardon. Following an extraordinary triumph against the deadly Frank Dozer, Bubberman has a roster filled with hungry contenders that want nothing more than to take his head- and his championship gold.

[OFFICIAL FIGHT CARD]

[MAIN EVENT]

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png (Light-heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Berry Bubberman© (5-2) versus Medium Hardon (6-4)

(Preview) Berry Bubberman, more often known as “The Legionnaire” by his fans, has an unflinching ability to withstand punishment, lightning fast reflexes to avoid the attacks of his opponents, and he tops it all off with thunderous knock out power. With all of these things considered, it is easy to understand why Bubberman has a reputation for being the most fearsome striker in the light-heavyweight division.

Bubberman started his career in Las Vegas QFC toughman competitions, knocking out two consecutive opponents. He then fought a single fight with the Umbrella Corporation, losing via unanimous decision following a grueling five round clinch war. After that setback, Bubberman would return to the toughman scene; he would be stopped in the second round due to a cut he received over his right eye.

With two wins and two losses in his professional career, it would have been easy to write Bubberman off as another failed prospect to live out his days fighting for QFC shows. And for most guys, maybe it would be true; Berry Bubberman is a different kind of animal, however.

He signed a single fight deal with Troid MMA, knocking out seasoned kickboxer Kojak Komodo in just over three minutes. Following this incredible performance, Bubberman signed with Epicity Productions, where he has truly come into his own as a championship level fighter.

In his EP Debut, Bubberman out worked gritty slugger Sean Kelleher to win his first ever unanimous decision victory. Bubberman was then tapped to challenge for the vacant light-heavyweight championship of the world. He was given the monumental task of trying to claim the empty title against the undefeated wrestling powerhouse Frank Dozer.

Dozer was seen as an astronomical favorite going into this fight; indeed, Dozer had been named the top prospect in the light-heavyweight division, with six consecutive victories under his belt, and no defeats. Dozer had won his first five fights via first round stoppage.

The fight would turn out to be an absolute barnburner with both men being beaten bloody within the first few minutes. Bubberman shocked the world in this fight by not only beating Dozer but by out striking him. Every time the two would clash, a violent melee would ensue, and Bubberman was winning the vast majority of the exchanges, keeping Dozer on the defensive. After easily out-striking him on the feet, Bubberman would be the first man to defeat Dozer midway through the second round, defeating him via TKO.

Medium Hardon started his career in the twice or thrice renamed GAMMA Junior Organization, fighting twice with mixed results. He would fight a one-off fight in the QFC cage against “Jigoro Kano”, obviously named in the likeness of the former #1 p4p fighter in the world: Jigoro Kane. Kano would not live up to the hype of his name, being beaten bloody and dragged out of the cage by doctors to save his life.

Hardon would fight the bulk of his professional career in the GAMMA Contenders league, going 2-3 with some highlight reel finishes (some of which were against him rather than for him).

The past is the past, however, and Hardon is riding three consecutive victories into this championship fight. Medium Hardon is an extremely well rounded striker, hitting you with any part of the body that he can connect with: punches, kicks, you name it. On the ground, he is a different animal. His ground and pound is second to none and you know that he's going to be looking to utilize that against Bubberman in this fight.

In this fight between Bubberman and Hardon, you have two fighters with checkered pasts; both have tasted defeat in their lives and both are on the biggest winning streak of their respective careers. Unfortunately, only one man can go home the undisputed light-heavyweight champion.

Knockouts: 4

Submissions: 0

Style: Muay Thai, Wrestling

Career Achievements or Accolades: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, Three Fight Winning Streak

[CO-MAIN EVENT]

(Welterweight Division) Dmitri Yurkov (9-4) versus Jeremy Smith (8-3)

(Preview) Dmitry Yurkov fought the majority of his career in regional QFC toughman shows with three single fight appearances in the Amsterdam Martial Arts Association league. Yurkov is known for having an iron chin and relentless pressure on the ground. His submissions are among the best in his division, although he has been submitted as well. Yurkov has never been stopped by a striker in his professional career.

Smith would lose his championship in his first attempted title defense, in a fifth round submission defeat in a fight he was dominating. After rebounding with a decision victory over a game Johnny Luca, Smith would go on to lose two of his next three fights before being dropped by yet another manager. Jeremy Smith has signed with new management, signed with Epicity Production, and decisioned a dangerous opponent with a wildly inappropriate name in Wrestlefuck Wrestling.

Jeremy Smith also started his career in QFC shows before signing with Insanity MMA, where he would spend the vast majority of his fighting career. With only four pro fights to his name, Smith would challenge the reigning welterweight champion, Gustavo Meranda, for his title. Meranda was a Jiu-Jitsu brown belt known as much for his brawling style as for his deadly submissions. This fight was to be Meranda's fourth title defense but it wouldn't go his way at all: Jeremy Smith knocked him out in the first round with a brutal head kick.

As fate would have it, Jeremy Smith would lose his new championship in his first title defense; after almost fight straight rounds, Jeremy was the clear victor on the score cards, but at the last minute he rolled into a rear naked choke, compliments of a talented brown belt named Pierre Morrell. Smith would rebound with a decision victory against another scrappy veteran before being dropped by his management team. Jeremy Smith would fight three times, going 1-2 in that time, before being dropped once again. Smith signed with Epicity Productions and edged out the inappropriately named “Wrestlefuck Wrestling”, a name that will certainly become a household trend in no time.

[MAIN CARD]

(Light-heavyweight Division) Frank Dozer (6-1) versus Brian Pereira (5-3-1)

(Preview) Frank Dozer is a force of nature; with five of his six victories coming via brutal first round knockout, it is easy to see why Dozer was considered the favorite in his championship fight against Berry Bubberman. Frank Dozer took his first fight in a QFC toughman contest, knocking out his opponent in just thirty seconds time. Dozer immediately found himself fighting for the Hilo Fighting Championship based in Hawaii, where he made a name for himself as a truly brutal striker. He knocked out three opponents before moving to Los Angeles. He fought one fight for the California based promotion, smashing his opponent late in the first round. When Frank Dozer signed with Epicity Productions, it was clear that championship gold was in his future. Following a grueling kickboxing war against Boogie Knight, Dozer was paired up with another kickboxer by the name of Berry Bubberman. Pundits declared Dozer the champion before he even set foot inside the cage that night; Dozer was a record setting favorite going into that fight. Fans predicted a quick and brutal ending... they were right. Bubberman handed Dozer the first loss of his career, defeating him in the second round. One thing is clear: I would NOT want to be Frank Dozer's next opponent, knowing that he will be fighting to reclaim his status as the king of the light-heavyweight strikers.

Brian Pereira has no problems with Frank Dozer declaring himself the top striker; Pereira is a smothering wrestler with a brown belt in JiuJitsu. He may not always get the finish but his top control is second to none in the light-heavyweight division.

Pereira fought his first four contests in the Barbarian Fight Club with three quick submission victories and a decision loss against a gritty wrestler. Pereira fought a one-off fight for the Honor Fighting Championship, knocking out his opponent with brutal ground and pound, before signing with Unleash Fighting Championship, more commonly referred to as simply “UNFC Tokyo”. Pereira would find less success in Japan, going 1-2-1 during his stint there. He has to realize the implications of a high profile fight against a top ranked contender such as Dozer; the winner could easily find himself knocking on Bubberman's door.

(Light-heavyweight Division) Ruarc Lacy (6-5) versus Seymour Til Alexandros The Seventeenth (6-2)

(Preview) I decided before I even started writing this preview that I was going to refer to Seymore as “Seymore Alexandros” because as much as I respect everybody's choice to name their fighter whatever they want, I once had to write for a guy named “Cccccccc Cccccccc”. Yes, that is the letter C sixteen times. Seymour Til Alexandros The Seventeenth is an awesome looking name but there is no way that I type it out fully more than three times for one preview. Sorry man.

Ruarc Lacy is affectionately known as “The Meat Hook”, possibly due to his propensity for obtaining the “third hook” from the back mount. Ruarc began his career as an amateur wrestler, making his MMA debut in a QFC show. Ruarc Lacy made appearances on fight cards for various promotions throughout his career, including: Barbarian Fight Club, Impact MMA, UNFC Tokyo, and the European Fighting Championships. Using his powerful takedowns, Lacy would defeat the majority of his opponents via submission.

Seymore Alexandros is easily every bit the wrestler that Lacy is, but he prefers to utilize his style to pound on opponents, rendering them broken and beaten, rather than force them to tap out. Seymore also fought for Barbian Fight Club, holding a perfect 4-0 record with the promotion. He then took single fight deals with Honor Fighting Championship and Warzone MMA before signing with Epicity Productions.

(Lightweight Division) Che Hoe (1-1) versus Scott Watt (4-8)

(Preview) Che Hoe aka “Ho Chi Minh” is a 19-year old boxer straight out of the QFC and into the Epicity Productions cage. Despite being dominated on the ground by his first opponent, Che Hoe stopped his followup foe with just one recorded strike (although the final flurry should have been counted as well). Che Hoe has decent knockout power and is capable of fighting in the clinch or at a distance.

Scott Watt is an experienced fighter that utilizes his Muay Thai and submissions to overwhelm opponents. This veteran of twelve fights has competed in the QFC cage, in Honor Fighting Championships, and for Silent Fighting Championship. Like his opponent, Scott Watt is making his EP debut.

(Welterweight Division) Andy Barclay (14-4-1) versus Jeremy Jenkins Jr (3-2)

(Preview) Andy Barclay started his career with nine consecutive victories via lightning fast knockout; that ninth victory secured him the Honor Fighting Championship middleweight title. Following this victory, Barclay's management would be kidnapped by the Yakuza or something, and Barclay would find himself under new management. Barclay would never defend his championship, instead he was signed to fight for Troid MMA, where he would go 4-2-1, and challenge for the Troid welterweight championship. This former world champion is only 1-2 in Epicity Productions and he has a very difficult opponent waiting for him.

Jeremy Jenkins Jr is a Jiu-Jitsu brown belt that started his professional career in the TWGC 1 Los Angeles tournament. He would submit his opening opponent only to lose via unanimous decision in the second round of the qualifiers. Following this defeat, JJJr would sign to fight for Ultimate Pit Fighting – Montreal (my old promotion before I quit the game and my account got deleted, holla!), submitting his opponent in the first round. Despite showing promise in this performance, Jenkins would be released by his management team, and his UPF contract, before his new management secured him a place in the TWGC 5 Las Vegas grappling tournament. He would win his first appearance, only to lose in the second round of the qualifier once again. Jenkins would fight for Bushido Fighting Championship and Silent Fighting Championship, going 2-2 in that time, before being dropped by yet another manager. His newest manager signed him to an exclusive contract with Epicity Productions where he is making his debut.

[PRELIMINARY CARD]

(Light-heavyweight Division) Nick Swaggy P (4-0) versus AJ McKenzie (3-1)

(Preview) Nick Swaggy P is an undefeated brawler training out of the Ground Zero training facility, a private gym for elite fighters. Swaggy is the protige of the (in)famous fighter manager Mentor, which comes with a degree of pros and cons with the publicity. Swaggy started his career in the Brutal Association of MMA fighting league, knocking out two opponents before being signed by Epicity Productions. Since signing with EP, Nick Swaggy P has fought and defeated fellow slugger Young Buck twice.

AJ McKenzie is a veteran of Epicity Productions, having fought for the company three times now. Like his opponent, McKenzie loves to stand and bang, and is comfortable fighting in the clinch.

(Heavyweight Division) Isa Boletini (7-4) versus Matt Weston (7-2-1)

(Preview) Isa Boletini started his career fighting in the “Random Fighting” league. After losing his debut performance inside the first round, he was dropped by his management and picked up by a new team. Under this new leadership, now signed with Troid MMA, Boletini would go 3-1 with three brutal first round knockout victories to his credit, and one decision loss. Despite this impressive showing, Boletini would be dropped by a second management team. Boletini was picked up by a third management team, who found him three fights (in which he went 2-1 with two stoppage victories and a decision loss), and then dropped him like the others. Isa Boletini is now on his fourth management team and has once again gone 2-1 with two impressive victories and an uninspired decision loss. His next fight could be do or die, as he may not get a fifth chance to prove himself should he fail to perform in this fight.

Matt Weston is an extremely dangerous kickboxer with knockout power and a serious chin to support him. His kickboxing record stands at seven victories, two losses, and one draw. In victory, Weston looks like a world beater, stopping dangerous opponents with punches. Weston had two legendary fights against Shezzo Wicked; in their first fight, Weston hurt Wicked very badly early in the fight but Wicked managed to come back and take over the fight, resulting in a draw. In the rematch, it was Wicked that hurt Weston with an early strike, which helped Wicked earn the nod.

Weston has fought for the Silent Fighting Championship as well as the New Age Cage Fighting promotion. Matt Weston is 1-1 in mixed martial arts.

EP 14: Bubberman versus Hardon - Review

http://i.imgur.com/vE9RGCL.jpg

EP 14: Bubberman vs Hardon was a mixed martial arts event held by: Epicity Productions, in conjunction with Walhalla Clothing, and the LEGION OF DOOM fighting alliance. This event took place on February 21, 2015 at The Palmtree Casino & Arena in Las Vegas, Nevda, USA.

[OFFICIAL FIGHT CARD]

(Heavyweight Division) Isa Boletini versus Matt Weston

Round 1 - Matt "The Immortal" Weston, who bears a striking resemblance to The Godfather, was the early aggressor in this fight. He battered Bolentini with strikes, giving him a deep gash under his left eye, and then drove him against the cage in a clinch. Isa Bolentini tried to fire back but the control of Weston was too much for him; even more than that, Matt Weston was hammering Bolentini with brutal shots against the cage. Isa Bolentini never really showed up for this one. Matt Weston def. Isa Bolentini via KO (Punch) at 2:47 of round 1.

*Bolentini is a tough kid who has NEVER been knocked out cold before. This is a huge win for Matt Weston.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Nicky Swaggy P versus AJ McKenzie

Round 1 - Nick Swaggy P, not to be confused with Scotty P from 'We're The Millers' (know what I'm sayin'?), had a rough time in this opening round. The pace of AJ McKenzie proved to be more than he can handle, and very early on we saw Swaggy P swinging for the fences and hitting nothing but air.

Round 2 - To start this round off, Nick Swaggy P managed to land some beautiful early shots, cutting McKenzie over his left eye. McKenzie responded by clinching with Swaggy. McKenzie's pace against the cage was daunting to say the least; he hammered Nick Swaggy with punches in bunches, and Swaggy wanted nothing more than to escape the clinch. Around the three minute mark, a badly bleeding Nick Swaggy P stumbled off of a beautiful right handed shot, but he managed to stay on his feet.

Round 3 - Two rounds behind on the scorecards, Nick Swaggy P pushed forward with everything that he had in this final round... and got clinched up for his troubles. AJ McKenzie drove the nails into Swaggy's coffin with each blow that he landed. When the announcer read the scorecards, there was no surprise at the outcome. AJ McKenzie def. Nick Swaggy P via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

*It never fails to amaze me when people neglect to give their fighter the clinch skill. It is absolutely vital to have. Excellent work by AJ McKenzie for exploiting this weakness. Sweep the leg!

(Welterweight Division) Andy Barclay versus Jeremy Jenkins Jr

Round 1 - Andy Barclay was putting on a Muay Thai clinic early, with punches and kicks landing on Jenkins. Barclay gave Jenkins a cut off of a beautiful combination of strikes, and pushed him against the cage to land some knees. When Jenkins threatened with the takedown, Barclay thought better of his plan and broke free of the clinch. As Barclay got cocky and threw a wild roundhouse up top, Jeremy Jenkins Jr dove forward and took him to the ground: full guard. Jenkins easily passed into half guard. He threatened with an armlock and used the distraction to pass into mount.

JJJr got a bit cocky himself: he went for a quick armbar and got reversed. Andy Barclay repaid the kindness by going for a sloppy heel hook, allowing Jenkins Jr to reverse back into his guard. Over the course of the next minute, Jenkins crept his way into side control twice. Barclay was doing a nice job of staying busy from the basement but he still got dominated in this round.

Round 2 - Andy Barclay knew that if he let Jenkins take him to the ground again, it may be for the last time. So, he picked up the pace and came out of his corner swinging like crazy. Jenkins was quickly overwhelmed and fell after eating a powerful head kick. Awesome comeback for Andy Barclay! Andy Barclay def. Jeremy Jenkins Jr via TKO (Head Kick) at 1:22 of round 2.

*For his post-fight victory speech, Andy Barclay gave a shout out to Fury Nutrition Inc, his sponsor.

(Lightweight Division) Che Hoe versus Scott Watt

Round 1 - Call this fight the Tet Offensive if you will; Che Hoe (a clever twist on Ho Chi Minh) clinched early, controlling Scott Watt against the cage. Hoe took him on a trip to the ground with a trip takedown, landing in his guard. Hoe pretty much stalled half the round away from this position before repeating the process: clinch, control, takedown. This time, however, he pulled guard and caught Scott Watt in an armbar, forcing the submission. Che Hoe def. Scott Watt via Submission (Armbar) at 3:19 of round 1.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Ruarc Lacy versus Seymour Til Alexandros the Seventeenth

Round 1 - Ruarc Lacy (also known as 'Lacy The Savage' on the MMA Underground) was throwing hard shots early as Seymore Alexandros worked to counter his moves. Finally, STATS got his takedown into the half guard of Ruarc Lacy. As Lacy pushed for a sweep, STATS passed into side control. STATS controlled from his side mount for the better part of the round, although Lacy did manage to get back to half guard briefly. The two fighters finished out this round battling for position between half guard and side control as STATS landed ground and pound from above.

Round 2 - Much like the first round, Ruarc Lacy was pouring the strikes on Seymour, frustrating him with an intense pace. Seymour once again scored an early takedown into half guard. This time, however, Lacy managed to get back to full guard and immediately started submission spamming, allowing Seymour Alexandros to pass back into half guard. Ruarc got back to full guard, resumed his submission spamming, and caught Seymour with a triangle choke! That was a hell of a grappling battle, gentlemen. Ruarc Lacy def. Seymour Til Alexandros The Seventeenth via Submission (Triangle) at 3:58 of round 2.

*In his post-fight speech, Ruarc Lacy gave a heartful speech about fornicating with dead women, I think. I was going to retype it here but I have instead opted to maintain my self-respect.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Frank Dozer versus Brian Pereira

Round 1 - In the early goings, the two men traded punches and kicks. Frank Dozer was coming out on top of the majority of the exchanges until Pereira scored a double leg takedown into half guard. Frank Dozer managed to get back to full guard and sweep so that he was on top, in guard. Pereira threatened with a triangle choke and worked himself into half guard. As the two fighters rolled for position and threatened with various submission holds, Pereira reversed himself to the top, landing in guard. As Pereira rolled for a leg lock, Dozer rolled into the top position! There was some fantastic wrestling on display already in this fight. Frank Dozer closed out the round in side control on top of Pereira.

Round 2 - Having flopped a pair of takedown attempts, Brian Pereira started pumping out the jab, trying to set up his wrestling game... and he paid for it when Frank Dozer landed a 1-2 combination that put Pereira on his back! Frank Dozer dove into half guard above Pereira. Frank Dozer controlled for about a minute until the referee stood the fighters up. Back on the feet, Frank Dozer lit Brian Pereira up with his striking for the better part of three minutes, clearly winning his second consecutive round in this fight.

Round 3 - Frank Dozer slowed the action down at the start of the third and final round. Pereira knew that he needed to win this round to win the fight, and by god he tried. He pushed forward with everything he had. The best move of the first minute, however, came when Brian Pereira lande a takedown into the guard of Frank Dozer. Pereira was working the pitter patter strikes early, rolled for a kneebar, and got reversed by Frank Dozer, who landed in side control. Frank Dozer worked for a submission from on top for a healthy chunk of the round, controlling Pereira until the referee stood them back up. On the feet, Frank Dozer really slowed the action down, and Pereira pushed forward with a series of wildly ineffective strikes. All in all, Frank Dozer only landed about four strikes in that third round, meanwhile Pereira landed with five of his ten shots in that time. Frank Dozer def. Brian Pereira via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

*The judges justifiably gave that final round to Pereira as Frank Dozer was playing it way too safe there.

[CO-MAIN EVENT]

(Welterweight Division) Dmitri Yurkov versus Jeremy Smith

Round 1 - As the color commentators joked about the fighters being paid to keep this fight standing, Dmitri Yurkov dove into a counter takedown off of a failed leg kick. Yurkov landed himself in guard. Jeremy Smith promptly reversed himself into the top position, full guard. Jeremy Smith was working the short range punches from above, but was very evidently playing it safe to avoid the submission game of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. Smith wanted to stand, Yurkov wouldn't allow it, so the referee stood them up when nothing happened for a solid minute. On the feet, Smith landed a nice shot that busted Yurkov open. The two fighters traded blows and Jeremy Smith was getting the better of them. About three minutes in, Smith landed a brutal one-two combination that put Yurkov down! Yurkov scrambled to his feet and ate a flying knee that put him out cold! Jeremy Smith didn't even wait to see if he was out, he immediately jumped on the cage and started celebrating with his corner! Jeremy Smith def. Dmitri Yurkov via KO (Flying Knee) at 3:29 of round 1.

*Jeremy Smith has the distinct honor of being the first stoppage due to flying knee that I have written about since 2010.

[MAIN EVENT]

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Light-Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Berry Bubberman© versus Medium Hardon

Round 1 - The Light-heavyweight Champion landed a left hook and The Challenger dove in for a takedown, full guard for Medium Hardon. Hardon went for a topside guillotine from guard but his Jiu-Jitsu just wasn't quite at that level. Berry Bubberman controlled the wrists of Medium Hardon and Hardon simply went for that awkward guillotine once more. Berry Bubberman sort of shrugged at the referee like, "Well?" and the referee agreed, standing the fighters back up. Back on the feet, Medium Hardon landed some beautiful counters off of the failed strikes of the Champion, cutting him up. Bubberman clinched and took over the round with his relentless pace along the cage.

Round 2 - The first three minutes of this round belonged to the defending champion as Bubberman was simply the better of the two on the feet. Hardon was landing some shots and staying busy but Bubberman was just the stronger striker. Hardon scored with a takedown three minutes in but Bubberman controlled him, forcing a standup. Hardon worked diligently to stay in the face of Berry Bubberman and match his intensity but that is truly a daunting task to say the least.

Round 3 - Berry Bubberman was swinging wild in this round and Medium Hardon managed to get inside with some beautiful counter-shots. Bubberman just kept driving forward, however, landing blows. For every five or six that The Champ would land, Hardon would land one or two blows. Still, by the end of the round, Medium Hardon was out pacing Bubberman on the feet. This round goes to the challenger for sure.

Round 4 - Medium Hardon picked up the pace in this round as Bubberman slowed down a bit. Medium Hardon clinched with Bubberman and the two traded shots. Bubberman stuffed a takedown and retained the clinch, picking up the pace late in the round. Hardon drove Bubberman against the cage and tagged the Champion with some great shots. This round was more heavily in Hardon's favor than the third round.

Round 5 - Sensing that his championship was in jeopardy, Berry Bubberman picked up the intensity, throwing beautiful kicks. Medium Hardon was unfazed, however, and so he stayed in the pocket and landed counters off of the wild, swinging, missing shots of the Champion. One minute in, Medium Hardon clinched with Bubberman and worked him over with short shots. Bubberman was trying to fire back but was eating powerful strikes. Two minutes in, Hardon scored a takedown into the guard of Bubberman. On the ground, Medium Hardon was ruthless, working Bubberman with hammerfists and elbows until the referee stood them up. He wasn't working to advance position; he was happy to just cause damage to the defending champion. With two minutes left in the fight, Berry Bubberman was gasping for air, and Medium Hardon picked up the intensity, looking to finish. By the end of the fight, the counter-striking of Medium Hardon was paying dividends as the Champion had slowed considerably. After five rounds of grueling, intense action, the judges have rendered their decision.

Judge Alan Glass scored the fight 49-46 for Hardon.

Judge Frank Dennis scored the fight 48-47 for Bubberman.

Judge Cecil Peabody (relax, not that Cecil) scored the fight 49-46 for the winner and NEW Undisputed Epicity Productions Light-Heavyweight Champion of the world: Medium Hardon!

Medium Hardon def. Berry Bubberman via Split Decision (49-46, 48-47, 49-46) to become the Undisputed Light-heavyweight Champion of the world!

*Holy shit. I write these reviews as I read the event meaning I don't skip ahead and know the results in advance (generally speaking). That split decision was awesome to write about as I read it.

[EPILOGUE]

Berry Bubberman and Medium Hardon fought their hearts out in this fight. Bubberman is not an easy man to best but Medium Hardon managed to not only win three of five rounds against him, but he outstruck him on the feet! Incredible performance from both men.

Also I just want to say that I have a good deal of history with Sean Watson's next opponent, Peter James. I was the writer for the organization James fought in, and I even fought him with one of my guys.

My fighter didn't win but I like to think that he did okay.

I don't want to talk about it.

^ Yup. I only record the winning streaks that take place in the org. It just wouldn't be fair to have a bunch of in-house win streak guys get replaced by a guy with 15 QFC wins and one EP win. Every single person on my "winning streak" list has earned their position on that list by smashing people inside the Epicity cage.
