Mooncutter
Like the heading says, I think Muay Thai should give clinch takedown defense. Maybe it already does, only Mike knows. But if it doesn't, it should. It should give a small amount of takedown defense even when not in clinch. But mainly, clinch takedown. It should also give a degree of takedown offense in the clinch. Throws is a big part of Muay Thai actually. Even if you kick his leg out and he falls, it's still a takedown in a real fight.
Rambo
I disagree. Clinch fighting isn't just thai clinch thai plum. It's (supposed to be) over/under grappling stuff too. Knowing Muay Thai wouldn't help prevent a judo throw or suplex from over/under.
