Zello
What did you used to be so stupid about. I actually thought laundry in the game meant washing clothes.

I actively searched on "how to do laundry" instead of buying more clothes
Rambo
Not quite the same topic as the OP but silly rule of thumb from noob days. Fighter names... Wouldn't fight guys with retarded names like Fannypants Sissypack or Chuck The Cock Destroyer... shit like that. I'm still a brat when it comes to org names. Used to make guys in different cities and search the local gyms for slot to train, frequently checking places to see if there was an opening. Canadian Top Team was the premier public gym in Montreal.

I remember when starting out I would specifically look for a public gym that had a spot open and good training then make a fighter in that city and hope the spot was still open. jjsquirrel
When training in public gyms I was always putting my fighters in the sessions with the highest numbers. I figured the number must be the training quality. 1

pjrfin
Is this a bad thing? Am doing it now. Looking for gyms in different countries. No, nothing wrong with that. Most of us had to do that in the beginning. Veteran managers have their own gyms, or join friends gym.

jjsquirrel
so does the number indicate the number of people joining the session or is it the level of the trainer in said skill? It is the number of people, so lower is better.

It is the number of people, so lower is better. Except from sparring, where the more the better. (Yes, I know it's not that simple, but it's a solid rule of thumb) And for Cardio, Weights and Yoga, the number is irrelevant.

HareRumpler
me <- still a n00b! And yes, very much the laundry thing! And then having the audacity to think that when building a guy that I should try to have success with them the way I thought would work in RL, rather than how the engine will really deal with it. Not that I've even figured that out well...haha!
TJMitchell
Is this a bad thing? Am doing it now. Looking for gyms in different countries. Nothing wrong with it at all. It was a smart move, just following on from what Karter said and something I did as a noob.

aylib
Id try to train my guys at 0% energy, believing that that would ensure they're training technique, having heard that in RL skills are learned quicker if training fatigued (could very well be a myth). Thought clinch slider was meant to measure out striking distance between your fighter and his opponent.
