HFC 46 - Battle vs Yonic
Dre Battle
Record: 5 - 1
Key Wins: Samson Komua, Harry Olsen, John Smith
Key Losses: Samson Komua
Keys to Victory: Avoid the takedown.
-VS-
Daniel Yonic
Record: 9 - 5
Key Wins: Hefty Jack, Daaniel Teteny
Key Losses: Rahim Lloyd, Ademaro Dos Anjos, Leon Lentz
Keys to Victory: Get the fight to the ground and, do it quickly!
Key Takeaways & Thoughts: This fight is a classic ground vs striker matchup, but that's something that you don't often see in the HFC anymore. If Yonic can't get this fight to the ground, he's in big trouble. But only two months ago, Yonic was in a fight for the title with Dos Anjos. If he can get back to contender form, this fight may make it out of the 1st round.

FIGHT RECAP

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yonic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Battle is fending him off so far but Yonic persists. Nope, Battle circles away and we're back to standing.

Yonic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A punch lands to the side of Yonic 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Yonic shoots in looking for a takedown but Battle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yonic's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dre Battle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Yonic.

Yonic with a poor takedown

and Battle counters with a stiff right hand.

Battle scores with a jab.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/rocked.gif

Yonic is rocked!

Battle darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Yonic's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Battle before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dre Battle!

Dre Battle seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

"So, I uh, uh, yeah, I, um, uh, I don't really, you know, uh, I don't feel great about it. Daniel, dude, c'mon, he's just a little beaner. Business is business. I just wanna thank all my fans for showin' up to this human sacrifice and shoutout to everybody who been supportive. Fuck Joe Biden. Trump 2020. Had my sights set on Baruto in a number 1 contender fight but ADA gotta handle my light work. Is what it is. So I guess we gotta tell that commie at the top of the division he can get the business and then I'm taking the belt from the only Brazilian I'm cool with, ADA, hold it down for a real ninja."

Nati comes into the fight a hard underdog, but that hasn't stopped him from stepping up and throwing down the gauntlet. Looking to knock Sosa off his perch, Nati will come into the cage and leave it all out there. This is a war, and you can bet your ass Nati will give Sosa everything he's got. somebody is going to sleep, or if left to the judges, both fighters may end up in the hospital when this one is all over.

Prediction: Gotta go with the champ and his streak to win via decision, but it's going to be a close fight and don't count Nati out, he's got a shot.

"If that was Nati giving it all he's got, I feel bad for his wife bro."

Nati throws the cheesiest fiesta potatoes so I had to wear the belt while I worked some extra cardio with his Madre. After a few rounds she called me an Aztec warrior, and I say "no baby, it's just Hurricane Sosa".

SPEED BRAWLS III

Results in Review

Southanouvong DEFEATS Lloyd via TKO (Strikes) KOTN

Southanouvong came out aggressive and it paid off quickly. Lloyd was accurate, landing 75% of his shots from range, but Southanouvong was doing his best Gatling gun impersonation throwing 19 head punches in the first 90 seconds of the fight. Only 5 of them landed, but it only took 1 to get the job done.

Lloyd gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Southanouvong gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Lloyd is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Nagashima DEFEATS Motts via Decision (Unanimous)

Motts has the superior record, 10 KO's, an accomplished striker with a granite chin. Nagashima didn't give a fuck about any of that. His granite chine held out too, and this fight went to the judges. Nagashima got cut early in the first, but these two warriors slugged it out, danced in and out of range and the clinch, and even rolled around in the blood stained canvas of the cage for a while. Back and forth, but ultimately with Nagashima dominating the fight in all three rounds and walking away with the victory and a very nice hype boost.

Benedetti DEFEATS Mills via Decision (Unanimous)

Benedetti increases his record to 10-2-2 with an impressive victory over Lance Mills, handing him his 4th loss now. All three rounds dominated by Benedetti as he lines himself up for another crack at the title in the near future. Can he get the win in his third attempt against Sosa when those two finally do meet again?

Rousey DEFEATS Barbosa via TKO (Strikes)

Never in my life have I seen two grown men so happy to hug each other, and then throw the other off almost immediately after contact.. it's like a Brokeback Mountain scene, only where when the men embrace, one shoves the other off and goes, "Fuck you, I'm not gay." Only to turn around and lock into another sweaty man hug.

Barbosa had been drinking a little too much earlier in the day, and about half way through the first round he'd had enough of the hugging dance as Rousey laid it on and finished the fight in brutal TKO fashion.

Gunner DEFEATS De Souza via Decision (Unanimous)

Another pillow fight where these guys were trying to show off for the judges instead of finish their opponents. Around here in the HARDCORE fighting championship, we like to call this style softcore. You know, the stuff you watch late night on Skinemax. Once again, a completely one sided affair where Gunner takes the win after dominating all three rounds.

Telegin DEFEATS Kirchen via KO (Punches)

In a fight with a lot more action than the fans bargained for, Kirchen squared off against Telegin in a slug fest of sorts. Kirchen was very aggressive on the leg kicks, trying to chop town his opponent, but he only managed to land 1 of the 26 attempted. He did mix up his attack very well otherwise, throwing a few of everything. But he seemed to go all in on the leg kicks and needless to say, that didn't work out so well. That's gotta leave a sour taste in his mouth.

Telegin, on the other hand, kept it simple.. he went head hunting, and he found some head in landing 79 of his 115 head shots. I sure hope that the medic sent Kirchen to get scanned for brain damage. Not many men can handle taking nearly 90 shots to the face and not be in fear of CTE.

Nofud DRAWS Martin via Majority Draw

BOOO Everyone hates a draw! The crowed, managers, and you know the fighters hate that shit. We'll have to get these two men back in the cage together in the not to distant future to see who the better fighter is. This is what happens when you leave the fight to the judges.

Saget DEFEATS Volto via TKO (Strikes)

Volto got the fight to the ground and went on a sub spam spree in the first, dominating the round. To start off the second, Saget decided to change things up and show off his striking skills a bit and in the first minute of round 2, Saget pops Volto with a huge head kick that put him in lala land, and then rushed in with a brutal flurry to end the fight.

Soldic DEFEATS Northwood via Decision (Unanimous)

Northwood was able to get this fight to the ground 4 times, but was never able to capitalize on the positioning. Soldic did a great job improving positions and keeping the fight away from Northwood while on the ground. When the fighters were standing, Soldic mixed it up well and showed off his striking enough to score the points needed with the judges.

Vaiduoklis DEFEATS Hooker via TKO (Strikes) FOTN

Holy fuck! That's about all that needs to be said about this fight. How can you give an opening fight of the night the FOTN honors? Wait, one fighter never even landed a strike in a 3 round fight? What the bloody hell do you mean FOTN??

Well, this was a fairly simple award from my view.. why, you ask? Don't mind if I do...

Vaiduoklis came out like a man possessed. He had the perfect gameplan and executed it at 99% efficiency. that other 1% was the lack of power, I suppose. He took the fight into the clinch and never let go, all the while unloading on the overwhelmed Hooker.

How could Hooker have earned the award when he never landed a single blow? The mofo survived all but the last few seconds of the final round getting the ever living shit beat out of him. HFC staff escorted Hooker to the hospital after the fight for a check up after absorbing 171 shots to the body and 94 to his head!

One fighter displayed excellence in game planning and execution, the other displayed amazing heart and toughness. I've seen punching bags in gyms that couldn't hold up to that barrage! What an amazing fight to start this event off with!

Excellent job by all of our fighters and managers in this event, so much so that I had to write up a review for a Speed Brawls event. That's something I never do!

HFC 46 - Slingin vs Lachance

Event Recap

Adim Bulb DEFEATS Ade Absame via TKO (Strikes)

Who's the baddest?!!?! Sho'nuff! it's Adim Bulb! At least in this night as he took out Ade Absame to kick things off with a beautiful TKO finish. Absame was able to score a couple of takedowns, but he didn't get the memo.. Bulb is the baddest! Sho'nuff, Ade figured this out as Bulb bounced back up with a quickness, showing off his escape skill. It is noteworthy of the highlight slam by Absame the second takedown. Lets take a quick look at that.

Absame has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bulb clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

From there, the fight was all Bulb's. He wasn't going to stay down, and once he took the fight into the clinch after that last slam, he didn't let go and just worked over Absame until knocking him senseless at the 4 minute mark. Seconds later, the ref had seen enough and stepped in to save the downed fighter.

Sean Dickinson DEFEATS Boxing Mcsparr Decision (Unanimous)

Our second fight of the night was our first Decision of the night. Some fans like the lengthy fights, most most of us here at HARDCORE prefer to see some blood and brutal finishes. But this fight earned a 76% approval rating from the fans, which is rare for a decision.

Dickinson dominated round one with a well rounded attack. Mcsparr got in some good shots, but Dickinson was the more aggressive fighter and as long as you're landing shots, we all know judges like to count up the blows.

Round 2 started off with an adjustment from Mcsparr after taking a nasty gut shot as he took the fight into the clinch. He worked the clinch well for 3 minutes before his corner had him break the clinch. A minute later, he cuts Dickinson, clearly winning the round at this point from a damage point of view, but Dickinson defended well and still managed to win the round.

The next few rounds were a clinch dance and the last round the guys were out of gas and just throwing anything they could trying to score points. The final bell rang, all judges scored the fight a complete dominate victory for Sean Dickinson.

Josephus Miller DEFEATS Michail Karnov TKO (Strikes)

Our third fight of the evening embodies what I love to see here in HFC. These warriors came out swinging for the fences and in less than a minute we were seeing blood! Miller got cut with a nice cross by Karnov, but we learned something about Miller tonight. When you cut him, and he sees his own blood, he goes into a berserk frenzy. At the 1 minute mark, Miller was bleeding and then saw blood. Miller then pops into and out of the clinch, possibly confusing Karnov a little, but at the two minute mark, this happened.

Karnov is rocked!

Miller cracks Karnov on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Karnov falls backwards against the cage. Miller follows up with more strikes that drop Karnov to his knees. Miller keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Karnov! This one is all over!

Keenan Eternity DEFEATS Horgen Stein via TKO (Strikes)

I told you, if Eternity keeps his head moving like he does in his pose, he'd avoid the big shot from Stein and take this one. He did get caught by a nice shot that cut Eternity, and again, we got some damned berzerkers in the HFC! Check this one out!

Stein catches Eternity with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Keenan Eternity has been cut.

A brief clinch dance and then Eternity gets some wise coaching from the corner, lets take a look at the replay for this finish...

Eternity's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Stein looks up at the clock. Bad move! Eternity lands a right hand from hell, dropping Stein. Eternity pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Tick-Tock the clock strikes again!

Shaquan Woods DEFEATS Dyami Yazzie via Decision (Unanimous)

And our second pillow fight of the night as Woods and Yazzie go the distance. Yazzie is the ground specialist, and he got a nice takedown approaching the 4 minute mark, but Woods with some surprising defense as he reversed position and found himself in mount. Woods didn't posture up, instead choosing to control and wait out the round, taking the round on the score cards.

Round two looked much the same, takedown by Yazzie, reversal and good defense by Woods. I'll give woods credit, he did work in a submission attempt in each round against the superior grappler, and maybe that helped sway the judges, but this fight was all about defense. Woods defended well on the ground, and Yazzie defended well on their feet. Neither fighter was able to finish and we went to the judges where all three judges agreed that Woods won the first two rounds, and in the end, the fight.

Dre Battle DEFEATS Daniel Yonic via KO (Punch)

Where are we fighting? HARDCORE FC, right? Yeah, Dre remembered that and gave the fans a beautiful finish which got a standing ovation. There wasn't much to this fight as it only lasted 32 seconds, so lets just watch the replay..

Battle darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Yonic's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Battle before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Malcom King DEFEATS John Bessant via TKO (Strikes)

It's always fun to watch King in action, and he lived up to his reputation tonight! He didn't waste time giving us some blood in the first round, but Bessant didn't go into a rage, instead he was on his heels the whole round and was completely out of it at the end of the round, saved by the bell.

The second round Bessant finally came to his senses, but it didn't help him much. Here's a look back at the exciting Finish we love to see from King.

King circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Bessant to the canvas! Bessant doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - King keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Seelow Heights DEFEATS Ralph McGuire via TKO (Strikes)

AND NEW!! H..F..C.. LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT.. CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!!

And our first of two title fights of the night, the long awaited HFC and F&B title unification bout! Seelow Heights has been patiently waiting his chance at the strap after feeling snubbed winning the F&B belt only to have the org shut down right after. McGuire has been all over the place, from his beginning at the League of Madness and his eventual title loss to Mohammed Kahn, to his run up to capturing the HFC belt.

The champ came out swinging and cut Heights quickly. Taking the fight into the clinch he was working over Heights the entire first round, knocking him down and rocking him after the 3 minute mark. A minute later, another knockdown by McGuire and Heights was being completely dominated but somehow manages to hold on until the end of the round.

The second round starts and McGuire immediately attacks that cut, getting the blood frenzy of the ground worked up. Then, a HUGE head kick that puts Heights on the ground again, but somehow still concious he gets back up at McGuire's gesture. McGuire wants this KO bad, but so far hasn't been able to finish off the hard headed Heights. So far, both rounds have been dominated by the champ so far, well on his way to his first title defense.

Round 3 kicks off and we're seeing more of the same aggression by McGuire but after the 3 minute mark of the 3rd round, shit got real. This fight was all but over, McGuire dominating the fight in every possible way, and then this happens...

McGuire misses with a jab to the body and Heights counters with a crisp one two that drops McGuire! Heights thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves McGuire to his feet! McGuire is in big trouble!

McGuire is rocked!

BOOM! Heights lands a beautiful left hook that drops McGuire. McGuire tries to recover but Heights is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and McGuire lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

What an unbelievable turnaround and finish to this fight! What heart and determination and somebody better check that man to see if he's got metal plates in his head because holy shit what an ass whooping Heights was taking before turning this fight upside down. I can imagine McGuire is seething and already chomping at the bit for a a rematch to earn his belt back.

Ed Ford DEFEATS Guilherme Goncalves via TKO (Strikes)

Goncalves was the Madness champ prior to closing their doors. In his first every HFC fight, he took on Gorgon Patriot for the unification title bout and fell short as the HFC champ defended his title. Now, his second match was against a young hungry striker looking for title contention in Ed Ford.

Definitely one of the most brutal starts to a career in HFC having to face Patriot and then Ford, but that's what makes one HARDCORE.

Goncalves got the better of Ford in the first round, though it was a very close round. The second round started off the same, even to the point where Ford opened up Goncalves cut a little more. Goncalves, now trying to protect his cut, finds himself taking a variety of strikes from Ford including a huge right that dropped Goncalves, even though Goncalves popped right back up. A few seconds later, we take a look at the finish..

Ford cracks Goncalves on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Goncalves falls backwards against the cage. Ford follows up with more strikes that drop Goncalves to his knees. Ford keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Goncalves! This one is all over!

Slash Slingin DEFEATS Lucien Lachance via Submission (Triangle)

AND STILL!! H..F..C.. WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!!

And now, the moment we all have been waiting for. The main event, and our second title fight of the night! Tonight, both of our newly crowned champs put their titles on the line. We just saw McGuire unable to defend his after dominating the first two rounds of the fight, so the fans are already on their feet screaming at the top of their lungs before this one even kicks off. Who could blame them, already one amazing title fight, and a brilliant KO in the last fight, and now this? Let's GOOOO!!!

We've seen a ton of action so far tonight, several bloody faces, some fighters getting the piss beat out of them.. literally, and some amazing finishes.. this has been a night to remember! The cage is absolutely disgusting right now, COVID be damned, blood or no blood, piss or no piss, the show must go on! And this title fight is between two excellent grapplers who will be wallowing around in the blood, sweat, and tears (and yes, urine) that is still covering the canvas. Sure, our crews have cleaned up the mess some, but it is just now all mixed together into a maroonish glaze coating the cage. Maybe we should switch our canvas to that color to kind of hide the gore.. nah, fuck that, this is Hardcore!

It didn't take but 1 minute into the first round for Lachance to pull Slingin down to the ground and the grappling war was underway. This was a back and forth submission spam fest between both fighters. There was not a whole lot of submission attempts and a whole lot of defensive grappling. These guys wrestled around on the ground like a couple of monkeys fighting over a banana to give to the local monkey whore. Slinging was 8/15 in attempts to improve his position where Lachance was 6/26. Slinging worked in 9/13 GNP trying to open up a submission, and where Lachance was unsuccessful in all 12 of his submission attempts, Slinging only need 17 attempts to finally lock in his.

I am surprised that Lachance didn't try to keep this fight standing more, as he was the first one to pull guard from the clinch and get a takedown. He was winning the striking contest both in and out of the clinch. I'm guessing he'll be looking back at this fight for a long time and re-thinking his strategy. Maybe he'll work his way back up and get a chance to make those adjustments.

But if you like the TWGC, you've gotten a great taste of that in MMA with an outstanding grappling match between these two ground specialist, and it ends with a successful title defense for Slash Slingin!

Thank you for tuning in HARDCORE faithful, until next time..

Stay HARDCORE!!!

HFC 47 - Wanker vs Slugs 2

Empire Indoor Arena, New York, NY.

14 Nov 2020

______________________________

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14760593138760.png

Massive Wanker

Record: 12 - 0

Key Wins: Boris Krylov, Doug Slugs, Lev Davidovitch Bronstein

Key Losses: Undefeated

Keys to Victory: Wanker just needs to keep doing what he's done. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. He's handled Slugs in the past so he already knows what he's getting into.

Key Takeaway & Thoughts: Wanker is undefeated and has already proven his ability to withstand the fighting style of Slugs. His ability to control the fight on the ground will determine the outcome of this fight.

- VS -

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w28.jpg

Doug "And The" Slugs

Record: 13 - 2

Key Wins: Chief Red Eagle, Raykuza Maui, Royce Camara Gracie

Key Losses: Massive Wanker, Royce Camara Gracie

Keys to Victory: Needs to inflict serious damage fast. Hast to avoid giving up control on the ground, needs to follow his tendancy with his cut victories. Doctor stoppage may be the only way he defeats Wanker.

Key Takeaway & Thoughts: Fun fact, Slugs has won 8 of his 13 victories by way of doctor stoppage. This is the most in HFC history. Don't cross this guy on the street!

______________________________

Gregory Motts

Record: 12 - 3

Key Wins: Keenan Eternity, Chief Red Eagle, Don Piano

Key Losses: Alex Ferreria, Chief Red Eagle, Platinum Fox

Keys to Victory: Must keep this fight out of the judges hands. Vanorden likes to win the fight on the score cards, strikes with more accuracy than power. Need to inflict damage and end this fight early.

Key Takeaway & Thoughts: Motts is a KO artist. Vanorden has never been KO'd.

-VS-

Bruce Vanorden

Record: 9 - 4

Key Wins: Xmus Jaxon Flaxon Waxon, Jaycen Solo, Ragnar Blaze

Key Losses: Aaron Wolf, Aatreya Mahrishi, Dro Qanar

Keys to Victory: Will try to score with the judges. Motts is a dangerous striker looking to finish. Needs to counter effectively and not give up the big shot. Good footwork and head movement, deliver some combinations and win with the judges. Or, break trend and try to counter KO the guy.

Key Takeaway & Thoughts: Vanorden is great at scoring with the judges, but has been effectively out scored with a good counter game. He has a boxing disadvantage while having a slightly better advantage in MT.

______________________________

Gorgon "The People Champion" Patriot

Record: 10 - 3

Key Wins: Georges Moxley, Olyn Seran, Guilherme Goncalves

Key Losses: Marcello Sosa, Kron Gracie, Aiden Steve

Keys to Victory: Copy and paste. Minimize Moxley's counter boxing and take him the distance. Must use his MT efficiently to do so.

Key Takeaway & Thoughts: Patriot has already won this fight once. He did an amazing job and will need to pull from the same hidden pull of umph to get another win against an elite boxer.

- VS -

Georges "The Saint" Moxley

Record: 9 - 3

Key Wins: Hans Peter Baxxter, Ed Ford, Malcom King

Key Losses: Gorgon Patriot, Vasil Petrov, Lucien Lachance

Keys to Victory: Moxley must time his strikes well. If he gets too aggressive, Patriot can mix it up and score a lot of punches.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: Moxley lost their first encounter and it has to be sitting in the back of his mind that this is his chance to avenge that loss, and to sweeten the pot, walk away with the belt. He will be dialed in and focused, but he will need to be calm, cool, and collected and not get too one dimensional.

______________________________

Dillon Van Barle

Record: 7 - 3

Key Wins: Ragnar Ragnarsson, Kuuri Sando, Tashiro Sugawara

Key Losses: Miguel Duarte, Ko Van Den Born, Martin Alexander

Keys to Victory: K Keep the fight standing. Avoid takedown and capitalize on MT advantage.

- VS -

Ivan Izquierdo

Record: 12 - 6

Key Wins: Jonathan Boaler, Xmus Jaxon Flaxon Waxon,

Key Losses: Ronaldo Gomes, Seelow Heights

Keys to Victory: G Get the fight to the ground. Superior wrestling and large BJJ advantage over Van Barle. Avoid the banging with Van Barle and should be text book.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: s Ivan should be able to get the fight to the ground with superior wrestling. So long as he doesn't gas himself out trying to get it there, or get careless and caught by a big right, this fight should go his way. Van Barle has KO capability and holds the advantage from range, so he's a threat as long as this fight stays on it's feet.

______________________________

Joao Andrade

Record: 10 - 4 - 1

Key Wins: Mohammed Kahn, Yago Nascimento, Luke Davidson

Key Losses: Mohammed Kahn, Aatreya Mahrishi

Keys to Victory: Slider god mode. Need to be selective and land that one nasty lights out strike to finish the fight. Don't let this fight keep going as Jahouli scores well with the judges and always has the ability to finish with one shot.

- VS -

"Megalith" Maxim Jahouli

Record: 8 - 3

Key Wins: Jonathan Boaler, Chris Travis, Jet Gunner

Key Losses: Ragnar Ragnarsson, Dalim Husimovic, Wayne Johnston

Keys to Victory: Stay aggressive and keep the pressure on. Finish the fight, don't go for a decision in this one. Score points while standing but should consider taking fight to the ground at some point where he holds a considerable grappling advantage.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: Jahouli dominates this fight by way of primary skills. He looks like a heavy favorite, but Andrade has potential to KO as he did with a head kick against Lucroy, and anyone who can go the distance and win against Mohammad Kahn can stand and bang with anyone.

______________________________

Vladimir Kosamanov

Record: 5 - 4

Key Wins: Barnito Mustacho, Luke Valentine

Key Losses: Aingot Nofud, Lucien Lachance, Miguel Sandoval

Keys to Victory: Don't tap, be smart and score points. Very close fight, so just be fundamental and score with the judges. Don't let Pinto catch you in a mistake.

- VS -

Luis Pinto

Record: 7 - 4

Key Wins: Slash Slingin, James Howlett, John Bessant

Key Losses: Dyami Yazzi

Keys to Victory: Be accurate and aggressive while standing, score points. This thing could go the distance. Work for a counter takedown, but be cautious on the ground. Evenly matched on ground, but Pinto is a more aggressive finisher on the ground. Use that experience advantage.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: This is one of the most evenly matched fights on the entire card. This fight can go either way, very likely to a decision. Pinto has had more success in his time and that experience will probably be the difference in this fight.

______________________________

Chris "Kenshin" Travis

Record: 8 - 6

Key Wins: Jim Fox, Adsawin Jindasawat, Konstantin Sogrin

Key Losses: Mohammed Kahn, Ralph McGuire, Maxim Jahouli

Keys to Victory: Sensational striker, has advantage standing and should never go to ground. Don't leave to judges as record is 3-4 in decisions. Finish fight, show killer instinct, then get high and rap about your victory.

- VS -

Alistair Ubereem

Key Wins: Tiago Da Costa, Brock Lesser

Key Losses: Don Piano, Keenan Eternity

Keys to Victory: Must be defensive and counter strike. Fight is going to be fought standing and is at slight disadvantage from range. Avoid the clinch, score with some punches but time a few good hard counter strikes and try to finish.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: Travis has the better skillset, but has been inconsistent at winning. Should have advantage over Ubereem on skill alone, but Ubereem has done more with less and rocking a much better record.

______________________________

Miguel "The Jukebox" Duarte

Record: 3 - 2

Key Wins: Dillon Van Barle, Frank Lucas

Key Losses: Arnor Sigurdsson

Keys to Victory: Don't enter fight with low morale.

- VS -

Xmus Jaxon Flaxon Waxon

Record: 8 - 7

Key Wins: Yago Nascimento, Ragnar Ragnarsson

Key Losses: Aatreya Mahrishi, Bruce Vanorden, Dro Qanar

Keys to Victory: Take the fight to the ground. Morale advantage, should dominate the fight from ground.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: If you come into a fight with shitty morale, you're probably going to lose. Duarte comes into this fight ill prepared which is unacceptable for this level of competition. If you need assistance on how to get morale up, check out the forums and/or the wiki for information.

______________________________

Bryan "Ferrari" Furry

Record: 6 - 5

Key Wins: Dale Holloway, Cung Wo Par

Key Losses: Kurt Wagner, Miguel Sandoval, Roberto Soldic

Keys to Victory: Find a way to get the fight to the ground. Black Belt will save your ass. Make sure you pull up in your Rari with some fine ass hoes, maybe you'll distract Smith.

- VS -

"The Gift" Walker Smith

Record: 3 - 4 - 1

Key Wins: Kron Gracie, Aiden Steve

Key Losses: Lance Mills, Nati Pisswater, Lorenzo Benedetti

Keys to Victory: Keep fight standing, work the clinch, avoid ground and win will be sound.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: Smith dominates the stand up game, range and clinch, while Furry dominates the ground game. Both fighters have about the same wrestling skills making it difficult for strait forward takedowns. Possibly counters, but most likely Smith puts an ass whooping on Furry before he can get the fight down to return the favor.

______________________________

Alesana Seia

Record: 3 - 3

Key Wins: Khabib Hellstrong, Darren King

Key Losses: Richard Pryor, Che Von Cru

Keys to Victory: Elite MT and Sensational boxing, use that advantage with proper sliders.

- VS -

John Smith

Record: 4 - 2

Key Wins: Samir Mourani, Viggo Gunnar

Key Losses: Dre Battle, Cayden Abner

Keys to Victory: Fight smart, avoid big shots, watch for MT use in clinch and kicking as Seia likes to mix in a lot of leg kicks. Work in and out of clinch, fighters match up well there and no clear cut advantage for Seia, allowing you to neutralize kicks.

Key Takeaways & Thoughts: Seia has a 3 - 3 record which is unbelievable considering how skilled he is. Perhaps there's a deeper flaw to this fighter, or perhaps just some bad luck. Look out for Seia to put it all together and go on a warpath through the division if he does.

Your new style previews are really good.

They are to the point and well written, very good job!

Hey man, I really appreciate that! It's funny how it works out, they are more stream lined and easier for me to do, less time consuming. And it appears that the bulk of managers enjoy the content. It gives me motivation to keep doing them. So truly, thank you.

As a fellow with ADHD that has issues keeping atention and reading a text wall EVEN THO it is good and I'm interested in it, I gotta say this is my favorite write up style so far.

Don't get me wrong, I love what Hare does with Sucker Punch, but I just cant get to finish it. This just hit that Goldlocks Principle like a bullet!

You don't need a prescription, just stay high like I do. You'll never even notice ADD. If you do, you'll forget about it soon enough.

Can't work like that tho

I will give 50k to the first manager who can predict the fastest finish on tonight's card accurately.

I will also reward the fighter who has the fastest finish with a 10k bonus post fight.

PM my manager profile for (in game, not forum) with your selection to be entered. As of fight start time, no additional picks will be accepted.
