Some of these events may be sad for some people, but in general the events listed united mma fans as a whole, and they are one of the biggest moments in the sports history due to the hype and buzz at the time. My personal top 5 and reasons why I like it - UFC 229 - Conor vs Khabib - although I do like Conor and find his fighting style entertaining, he did take the trash talking too far and his antics such as throwing a metal dolly at a bus and calling Khabib's father a coward was way too much and was bad for the sports image. Seeing Khabib absolutely destroy him and choke him out was very satisfying, and hopefully it taught him to be humble -Ronda Rousey getting knocked out by Holly Holm - Ronda was way too overhyped, arrogant and thought she was invincible. Glad she got her overrated ass kicked -Conor vs Aldo - 13 seconds. The hype was insane, and the build up as well. Aldo really wanted to kill Mcgregor and rushed in like an idiot. Possibly the most embarrassing defeat in UFC history. -Jon Jones vs DC 2 - Cormier was arrogant as hell and talked about how he is going to rip Jones head off. Full plays some gangster 2pac music for his entrance, puts on a mean face and then gets emasculated, destroyed with head kicks, brutal GNP then cries like a baby on national tv -Amanda Nunes destroying cyborg in less than a minute was badass. She also whooped Ronda in 48 seconds. Truly the GOAT female fighter. Most Fedor wins. GSP TKO's Serra for revenge.. most of GSP's fights as well I still love to watch over Nick Diaz submits Takanori Gomi Nunes and Holm KO'ing Ronda Rousey Shogun KO's Lyoto Machida for revenge of the robbery earlier Wanderlei Comeback vs Stann and Cung Lee Dan Henderson KO's Bisping and lands flying elbow of death Conor KO's Aldo Frank Shamrock vs Phil Baroni - one of my favourite endings ever, with Shamrock telling Baroni and motioning "your going to sleep" and two seconds later Baroni is on the canvas and gets out to sleep immediately after lmao love it Lot more then 5 but all those moments had me yelling hahha 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All those years watching him , first as a prodigy, then as a journeyman, then as a has been, then disappear off the face of the earth and finally come back all those years later and win all the marbles against Hendricks who at the time was regarded as terrifying. Amanda Nunes VS Cyborg, Cyborg was an absolute machine, looked invincible for so long, that fight was the top of violence human race can produce with their fists. 2. Lyoto Machida VS Rashad Evans, Both undefeated, both hype trains, I loved the build up, and the fight itself. Also the first fight I saw of MMA. 3. Khabib Nurmagomedov VS Conor Mc Gregor, the building of this fight make me start to hate Conor, and every day the hate was increasing, so I felt great when he taps out. 4. Israel Adesanya VS Kevin Gastelum, What an epic fight, I hoped Adesanya to win, even if he is a little cringy, but though Gastelum was going to stop him, was a incredible fight. 5. Ben Askren VS Robbie Lawler, felt bad for this fight because I love the two of them, Askren is super entretaining, expecially out of the cage, I love to see his interviews and how he speak, I really want to see more.
