Fighter Ages

Can someone explain the art of picking an age for a fighter? For the longest I thought the younger the better, so I made all my fighters 18. Then I discovered that if you make them older then they actually gain more creation points(which makes sense I guess), then my Mentor told me to release all my older fighters cause I guess they don't learn as much or something like that. I'm not second guessing him or anything but can someone explain the benefits of creating a 18 year old fighter and why I should release my 24 year old fighters when they're the only ones winning.lol

Basically, make them 18 or 25. 25 would be for fun fighters. Guys you don't expect to be the best on the site ever, but you might enjoy fighting with them. That's what my orgs about right now. 18 year olds are for actually training and being smart with.

Older fighters start with more stats, but learn new skills much slower with much less years of learning.

Younger fighters start with less stats, but learn new skills much quicker with much more years of learning.

Basically, you only want to do 18 or 25 because 18 is the youngest (without buying it with VIP), meaning the most years of training. 25 is for your fun fighter that you dont want to be the best with. May as well give him the most stats and have fun with him instead of making him 23, which is basically like the worst of both worlds you know?

Basically what ^ said. 18yo you make so they could potentially be the best on the game, more of a long run type of thing. 25yo if you dont want to wait around training for a while and fight straight away. But after about 2 in game years 18yo skills will catch up to that of the 25yo builds

This.

25 year olds are for wins, and fun.. If you keep them in an id restricted or star restricted orgs they can do well but their stats probably won't be killer.
