Super 6 Elimination Round Preview:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1525288891OuKxFlM.jpg

Saturday night in The Underground of Las Vegas, Nevada. 20 men step into the cage for Konflikt FC and only 10 leave the winner.

Main Event is between Emo Hoxha(0-1) vs Erik Killmonger(1-0). Hoxha is muay thai

fighter who loves to get in the clinch and bang away. Killmonger is a boxer who

just wants to get in there and punch him in his stupid looking face anyway possible.

His words not mine. What will happen will it be another decision fight for both of them

or will one guy put the other out on his shield.

Prediction: Killmonger by KO

Co-Main Event is between Floppy D and Shane Sharp. Floppy(2-0) is a striking specialist

with 2 wins by KO under 2 minutes. Sharp(4-0) also is a striking specialist with 4 wins

by KO and 3 of them under 20 seconds.

Prediction: Sharp KO

Shintaro Mifune vs Broseph Stalin is the third fight on the main card. Mifune(3-2) is

a wrestler that is starting to add some extra nuances to is game. Stalin(3-0) is a striker

who has won 2 of his by KO. His striking is very crisp and technical.

Prediction: Mifune TKO

Noddy Holder vs Pasal Quantum is the fourth fight on the main card. Holder(2-1) has 2 wins by

KO and 1 Loss by KO. He is a muay thai, wrestler with a strong clinch game. Quantum(2-1) has

2 wins by submissions and 1 loss by KO. Quantum is grappling specialist. Can Holder keep

it standing and KO Quantum or can Quantum get it to the ground and submit Holder?

Prediction: Quantum Submission

Bjorn Lothbrok vs Jon Rudskogen kicks off the main card. Lothbrok(3-1) usually wins by decision.

Rudskogen(2-1) like to stand and sling leather. Can Lothbrok withstand Ruskogen shots long

enough to take it to decision.

Prediction: Rudskogen KO

Undercard Predictions:

Bear KO

Sheik KO

Dude KO

Chinaman KO

Fighter KO

What is going on Saturday in Las Vegas? What another MMA event this week at The Palmtree?

Yes! There is so get your tickets for this event while supplies last.

The Main Event is between Bubba Drew and Marek Wieczorek. Drew(2-0) is a well rounded fighter

looking to take the fight and jump on any opportunity he sees an opening in. Wieczorek(5-0)

he has won every single fight by KO. This will be his first step up in competition from

fighting on the local scene though. For all you MMA enthusist out there this fight alone

promises to be worth the $150 admission.

Prediction: Drew by submission.

The Co-Main Event is between Tj Bidon Dillashaw and Joe Jennings. Dillashaw(1-0) is a

boxer and wrestler having competed in both for his high school team in Brazil. He won his first

fight on the local scene in just 28 seconds by a devastating KO. Jennings(2-1) is a

wrestler and bjj practioner. He went to districts in wrestling for his high school in Arkansas.

Prediction Jenings by submission.

The third fight on the main card is between Terry McCallum and Andre Lawson. McCallum(1-1) is

a bjj specialist. He won the New Zealand bjj finals before going pro in MMA. Lawson(1-1) is a

grappler in every sense of the word. He was decent takedowns and a good sense of what to do

when he gets the fight there from his bjj background.

Prediction: McCallum by submission.

Eric Drenthe and Skip Halo are the 4th fight on the main card. Drenthe(0-1) is a muay thai

fighter from the Netherlands. He moved to the states to ploish the other aspects of his game.

Halo(1-2) is also a striker who's only win has come by way of submission.

Prediction Drenthe by KO

The fight to kick off the main card is Luke Forthold and Brian Scott. Forthold(2-0) is

a boxer and a wrestler. He has won both of his fights by KO. Scott(1-2) is a bjj fighter

and won his only win by submission. The story of this fight will be can Scott get this

fight to the ground?

Prediction Forthold by KO

Super 6 Elimination Round Review:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1525288891OuKxFlM.jpg

Shintaro Mifune won the main event against Broseph Stalin by submission in

round 1. Stalin came in and clinched right away followed by a quick guard pull

by Mifune. Mifune swept Stalin and landed a few shot and failed the first two

submission attempts before sinking in the kimura for the win.

Co-main was by Noddy Holder against Pascal Quantum. It only took 1 round for

of action before this fight was stopped due to a cut. It opened up with Holder

clinching. Holder defended 7 takedown attempts in the clinch and the only thing

that landed by either fighter in the clinch was elbows by Holder and he landed

all 25 elbow strikes he threw.

Jon Rudskogen won his fight against Bjorn Lothbrok in the 3rd. Both the first

two round were close but I had it scored one round a piece going into the third.

It was a jab that caught Lothbrok on the button. Fans were not happy with the

fast stoppage but I for one applaud the referee for the fast stoppage as he is

in there to protect both fighters and Lothbrok was clearly out when he fell.

So need for him to take any additional shots after the fall.

Fourth fight saw Floppy D with a win over Shane Sharp. Not much can be said about

a 27 second long fight. Sharp missed all 5 combinations he threw and D landed

every shot he threw. Sharp must have been out of it more than I thought as after

the fight in the cage he spoke and said he wanted to run it back because he won

the fight. I think he needs to be checked for a concussion and get CAT Scan to

see if there was some brain damage. Or he is just simply delusional. Not sure how

you can think you won a fight when you never touch your opponent and get rocked,

back mounted, and the ref saves you from getting wailed on.

The opener for the main card saw Voli Bear submitting Demir Tskhadaia. First

round was pretty much Tskhadaia gets the takedown Bear advancing position

and landing a bunch of strikes. Second round Tskhadaia gets a quick takedown

again followed by repeated sweep from both fighters. Eventually Bear gets top

position a second time misses a couple subs and lands a bit more gnp. Third

round Tskhadaia went back to the quick takedown again after having being bested

on the ground the previous two rounds. Not sure what his corner was thinking.

About as soon as Bear's back hit the mat he reversed the position. And in about

15 seconds after that lands an armbar.

Undercard outcomes:

Alarcon: Decision

Gomez: TKO

Grandi: Submission

Sheik: TKO

Hoxha: KO

KONFLIKT FC VII REVIEW:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1525292037ZEzUdIF.jpg

Saw Bubba Drew winning his fight against Marek Wieczorek in third. First round

was dominated by Drew on the ground and the second round was dominated by

Wieczorek on the feet. Third round Drew had enough of this and landed a takedown

and just went for any submission he could think of before finally getting the

back of Wieczorek and sinking a rear naked choke.

Co-main event saw Wife Beater TKOing Herb Brooks like his wife. Brooks kept

clinching with Beater even though he was the more aggressive and accurate striker

long range than Beater and Beater was more accurate than Brooks in the clinch.

Ultimately it was in the clinch that Brooks fell pray to Beater.

Third fight saw Jimmy Del Mundo TKO Darren Stephens in 37 seconds. Not much to

say about such a fight other than the bell rung and Del Mundo hit Stephens

with a flurry of punches and clinched him and Stepehns went for a takedown

in the clinch and failed and dropped to strikes.

Fourth fight on the main card was Decision victory for Isaac Frye over Royo Jones.

The fight opened up with both fighters cutting each other in the first round.

Followed by Frye outworking Jones and getting the nod on the scorecards. Second

round was more of Frye outworking Jones and just overwhelming him. Third round

Jones comes out strong knowing he has to win it this round and opened up Frye's

cut even more. Which Frye definitely felt as it put him on the defensive for

most of third round after that.

The main card opener saw John Bugatti climbing back into the winner's circle

as he got the TKO win over D Chowder Jones. The fight quickly left to no

imagination what Bugatti's game plan was going into this thing. He quickly

clinched with Jones. Jones just as quickly broke the clinch. Then Bugatti

just as quickly clinched again. Then he swarmed him with punches in the clinch

until he dropped him, mounted him, and the ref stopped him.

Undercard results:

Forthold: TKO

Rage: KO

Dillashaw: TKO

Lawson: Submission

Drenthe: KO

Konflikt FC IX Preview:

Another Saturday night Las Vegas and another weekend of exciting fights at The Palmtree.

The Main Event is a title fight between Buddy Barnett and Moe Lester. Buddy Barnett(4-0)has quickly become a fan favorite gaining more of them by the hundreds every week. He also has definitely earned the trust of the brass of Konflikt to put on a good fight as evident by this being his fourth consecutive fight as the Main Event spot on the card and has won 2 FotN honors and 2 SotN. Also he is the winner of the 185 pound tournament that Konflikt had. Moe Lester(3-0) will be looking to show the youngster how the older guys do it. He has beaten up his opponents so bad in every fight that the ref has had to come to the rescue. These fighters are polar opposites as Moe Lester is a Muay Thai fighter and Buddy Barnett is I guess no longer a wrestler with a bjj game but has evolved inside the cage of Konflikt as a full fledged grappler now.
Prediction: Barnett submission

Co-Main Event is between Deer Hunter and Mario Rossi. Hunter(4-1) only loss coming by way of submission and all wins by KO. He will be making his Konflikt debut and coming to us from the local circuit. No secret coming from Belarus that he has definitely trained his kickboxing with some of the best. Rossi(3-0) is also a kickboxer and has won KOotN in both of his Konflikt fights. Rossi will be fighting out of the highly touted Project Cadmus gym and Hunter out of Conservative Mens Club.
Prediction: Rossi KO

Third fight on the main card has Ryan Skelator vs Do It Yourself. Skelator(0-3) has only known heartache inside the cage of Konflikt as he searches for that first taste of victory. Yourself(1-1) has been given a fight to see how well he bounces back from his first loss.
Prediction: Yourself submission

Fourth fight on the main card is Dwayne King vs Carl Watts. King(2-0) is another young prospect out of Project Cadmus. He has won both of his fight by way of submission. He has a technical striking game and as we have seen a good submission game, but we have yet to see his defensive side as he just hits foot on the gas pedal. Watts(1-3) is purely a striker and should have the edge in that department. Watts is currently training out of nowhere for this fight.
Prediction: King submission

The fight to kick off the main card is between Dorian Popa and Pyrrhus Epirus. Popa(1-1) is a boxer looking to bounce back after his loss in Konflikt debut. Epirus(1-0) is a kickboxer and a wrestler looking to start a winning streak.
Prediction: Epirus KO

Undercard Predictions:
White KO
Glover TKO
Maricone submission
Artz KO
Daddy Yo KO

Konflikt FC VIII PREVIEW:

Las Vegas on a Saturday brings home to places like The Underground where Konflikt will be having a night of fights.

Main Event Steve Butcher vs Pjotr Plumbowicz. Butcher(1-0) is an Australian boxer that has been working on his takedown defense and submission defense sense coming to mma. His last fight was his debut in Konflikt and saw his boxing in ful display in his dismantling of Ispa King. Plumbowicz(2-1) is a bjj from the Ukraine. He will be looking to test the defesnive grappling that Butcher has been training.
Prediction: Plumbowicz submission

Co-Main Event is Short Badass vs Robert Kortig. Badass(3-1) is a kickboxer from Iceland. As a kid he spent his free time in lush green meadows of Iceland training on a hill. He will be looking to showcase his kickboxing in his Konflikt debut. Kortig(2-1) is a German boxer and will be looking to prove that the punches of a boxer are better than the punches of a kickboxer. 2 men enter making their Konflikt debut and 1 man leaves with the crowd on his back.
Prediction: Kortig KO

Third fight on the main card is Jason Transporter vs Marcus Seneca. Transporter(0-0) will be making not only his Konflikt debut but his mma debut as well. Not much is known about Transporter other than he grew up around Iowa so you can suspect that he has some wrestling. Seneca(1-1) takes after the school of BJ Penn, Nick & Nate Diaz as he prefers hurting his opponents with his jab and dropping them from that and finishing it with his bjj.
Prediction: Seneca KO

Fourth fight on the main card is between Milson Bow vs Greyson Veto. Bow(2-0) is a wrestler that uses his wrestling to stop the takedown and stand up. Alreay posessing decent punches has been training up his striking defense until he needed funds and lost his gym membership. Veto(1-1) is a muay thai/bjj fighter who got submitted in his Konflikt debut. He will be more than happy to take this fight anywhere the wrestler decides to bring it.
Prediction: Bow KO

The fight that kicks of the main card is between Randy Engelhard and Hiroaki Hidaka. Engelhard(1-0) is a German grappler that won his debut in a close Split decision against Hardis Shidoku. Hidaka(2-1) is a Japanese striker looking to explode in Konflikt.
Prediction: Hidaka KO

Undercard Predictions:
Tt: KO
Okafor: KO
Jacobs: Submission
The Stupie: Submission
Sider: KO

Reporter: We recently caught up with Iron Sheik after his second round KO victory over El Toro Caca at the Konflict FC Super 6 Elimination Round. A man of few words, we managed to get him to open up a bit about his future at Konflict FC. View the full interview here:

Reporter: After a brutal and one-sided debut, a lot of critics are talking about your last fight, and your next one. Who do you think your next opponent will be? Any ideas?

Sheik: I have received no new offers; it doesn't matter. In my division, I will be King.

Reporter: Critics say your game is one sided and predictable. Are you more than just a one trick pony?

Sheik: I have had to do, nothing else. Fighting is easy. You hit a man, or grab him and throw him down. We are not dancing.

Reporter: With five wins and no losses, how long do you think it will be before you get a shot at the Konflict FC title?

Sheik: I don't know, and I don't care. Sooner or later that fight will come, and I will be ready for it. I have seen no man that scares me.

Reporter: That is a very bold statement. Hoddy McNeal, for one, might have some objection to it, since he currently holds the belt...

Sheik: Who? It doesn't matter. I just haven't met him yet, is all. Ask the others. But now, I must go. Thank you for your time.

Reporter: And there you have it. A few fights away from superstardom or obscurity, but so far he's off to a great start. Catch more of Iron Sheik and all of your favorite MMA up and comers at Konflict FC!

MMA LAS VEGAS NEWS:

Brian Pearson: I'm here outside The Palmtree with Buddy Barnett who just won the Konflikt FC 185 title. What feels better winning the belt or the tournament?

Buddy Barnett: Well they are both great feelings, have different benefits, and feel differently. If I had to choose while the tournament showed my growth from just being a talented high school state champion wrestler that didn't really know what he was getting himself into; into growing into grappler. I will continue to grow and keep improving to try and be the best champion I can be. Now with that said I would probably choose winning the belt. Sure I got a big check and a nice place to stay in for winning the tournament but I didn't get a trophy or a plaque or anything like that I could display showing that I had accomplished something. So winning the belt gets bonus points for that.

Pearson: You seem to be getting more popular all the time. Has that been difficult at all, do you like it, or has that changed anything for you?

Barnett: Well it has been great. I come to Las Vegas and people know me. I get more and more people cheering for me all the time when I come out to fight. Of course people recognize me all the time back home in St. Louis too. And I'm starting to get recognized other places as well. Like the other day in New York which is where I moved to train at the gym that Ikki Takeda set up for me and a few other guys; anyways I'm in a supermarket getting a gallon of skim milk and a guy walks up to me and says "hey aren't you Buddy Barnett that MMA fighter?" I told him yes and he told me he saw a youtube video of one of my fights and asked to get a picture with me. It was pretty surreal for me and I even gave him a spare ticket I had for my title fight tonight.

Pearson: So we know you just won the belt and probably don't know who you would face next but do you have any idea who you might face?

Barnett: Well I think Rossi makes a lot of sense. We both fought tonight and he is 4-0 and a fellow young, constantly improving, talented. and hungry fighter. So I think he makes the most sense probably. I mean he is really about the only guy that really makes sense. I mean Bugatti just got back in the win column and is 4-1 and I haven't fought him yet so I guess he would be possible too. No offers yet though.

Pearson: You seem to show a lot of respect for your opponents and general appreciation for the sport. Care to comment on why?

Barnett: I guess that is just part of who I am. Also I'm getting to do what it is that I want to do at such a young age. Most people aren't fortunate enough to get to do what it is that they really want to do. So I feel fortunate about that.

Pearson: I think in a previous interview you mentioned a guy that you heard was talented that would be joining your gym. Can you tell us who joined and anything about him?

Barnett: Sure thing. He is a young guy and still in high school. His name is Shen Kuei. I don't know a lot about him yet as I mainly just see him with coaches and haven't really had a chance to spar with him or anything yet. Looks like a good striker on the heavy bag. After he develops a little more maybe he will join the main class of guys. As of right now he's not allowed to.

Pearson: Can we talk to you again after you find out who your opponent will be?

Barnett: I would love to.

Konflikt FC VIII: Review

Main event Short Badass got the nod over Robert Kortig. It was a pretty close fight with Kortig getting the first round and controversial second round went to Badass. I personally gave the round to Kortig for his aggression. Third round was pretty much all Badass and he rocked Kortig but couldn't put him away. But I'm not one of the judges and Badass wins.

Co-main Randy Englehard submitted Hiroaki Hidaka by armbar. It started with Englehard getting the takedown in the opening seconds of the fight. And then he dropped some elbows on him to soften him up and saw the opening for the armbar and took it.

Yuri Boyka got the nod over Justin Sider. The first two rounds were won by Boyka for his aggression as he threw tons of shots landing virtually nothing. The third round went to Sider who picked up his pace and landed some good shots.

Steve Butcher got the KO against Pjotr Plumbowicz. It started with Plumbowicz getting the takedown and then they just basically rolled around trying to adavance position on eachother the entire first round. Second round opened with Butcher landing a shot and it was all over.

Stewie The Stupie gets the nod from the judges over Creed. It was a fight I agree with only one judge on that is Chris Downing who is the only judge that gave all 3 rounds to Stupie. The other two gave Creed round 2. Virtually all rounds looked the same. A bit of stand up at distance followed by the clinch and a bit of action followed by a takedown and some advancing position by both guys and failed submissions.

Undercard Results:

Milson Bow: TKO

Jason Transporter: TKO

Glen Jacobs: Submission

Thor Halo: TKO

Desmond Okafor: KO

Konflikt FC IX REVIEW:

Main Event saw Buddy Barnett capturing the first title at 185 in Konflikt when he submitted Moe Lester. The bell rang and Lester got taken down just as fast. Then Barnett quickly passed Lester's guard into half guard and worked the rest of the round in that position with strikes while looking for the occasional submission opening. Second round took place and they walked out Lester hit Barnett with a jab and then tried to clinch as Barnett circled away. After circling he darted in for the takedown. Shortly followed by Lester getting a sweep into the top position. Barnett saw Lester hanging his head low and sunk in a guillotine and ended the fight.

Co-main showed a close fight between Mario Rossi and Deer Hunter. Rossi got the win and won the first round pretty decisively and was the most clear round of the fight as to who won. Hunter won the second round but could have gone either way. Rossi got the third round on the judges scorecards but I felt Hunter should have stole the round after rocking Rossi with a minute and half left of the round and dropping him in the final 10 seconds.

Welter Weight got the KO against Santos Maricone. Maricone came in and cut Weight quickly. After getting cut Weight dropped Maricone with a right hand. Then he quickly drops him with another right and jumps on him and the ref jumps in.

Ryan Rodriguez get the TKO over Ethan Glover. First round saw Rodriguez dropping Glover and Glover getting a takedown and the ref was clearly not having any part of a ground game on his watch as he stands it up quickly. Rodriguez drops him again and cuts him followed by another takedown by Glover and the ref going I said we are keeping standing and stands them up quickly again. Rodriguez dominated the first round. Second round opens up with Glover still being weak in the legs and gets dropped quickly and gets back to his feet. Then Rodriguez drops him again and motions for him to get back up before sending him to the canvas again and the ref stopping the fight.

Marshall Artz get the KO by head kick against Joel Nielson. It opened with Nielson dropping Artz and cutting him. Then the rest of the round was played out by Nielson clinching and pulling guard repeatedly. Second round was some distance fighting followed by Nielson clinching and Aryz breaking the clinch until the end of the round in which he lands a spinning back kick to the head that hurt and then followed it up with another head kick and finished the fight at the end of the round.

Undercard Results:

Pyrrhus Epirus: TKO by cut

Dwayne King: Submission

Do It Yourself: Submission

Joseph White: KO

Big Daddy YO: TKO

Konflikt FC X PREVIEW:

This week the Las Vegas crowd will only be treated to one event this Saturday by Konflikt and it will be at The Underground.

Main Event will be Alexei Volkov who has been tested inside these cages and has come out on top every time and Sonor Jasrai who has only fought on the local circuit with a 5-0 record and 3 of his 5 submissions are against the same guy and his favorite submission by far is the armbar. Volkov likes to use his wrestling to keep the fight standing and his boxing to thrash folks and Jasrai has some great takedowns and a good submission game,

Prediction: Volkov KO

The Co-main Event will be between Total Bastard and Sitmongkol Sitsongrit. Bastard(3-0) and Sitmongkol(1-0) are pretty much the exact same skill wise. Who will walk away the winner? Will there be blood? Will a little guy get rocked? By a ticket to find out.

Prediction: Bastard KO

The third fight on the main card is between Ted Lewis and Light Weight. Lewis(2-0) is a boxer that can throw hands with the best in the game. Weight(2-0) is a muay thai fighter with all the natural striking skills a young gun could have. Who's gon get their _ _ _ kicked? Who's gon their wig split?

Prediction: Weight KO

The fourth fight on the main card is between Eddie Brock and Koby Horder. Brock(2-0) promises to leave his symbiote at home for this one. With his opponent being such a skilled wrestler and submission artist I'm not so sure this is a great idea. Horder(3-1) is an accomplished wrestler with a decent submission game.

Prediction: Horder Submission

The fight that will be kicking off the main card will be between Jackin Off and Thomas Jackson. Off(3-0) is young and about as skilled as they come in the striking game. He's undefeated in mma, amatuer boxing, and professional kickboxing. Jackson(2-2) is a jack of all trades master of none type of fighter. He typically comes in and feels out his opponent and searches for a spot to attack. Will he survive long enough to feel Off out?

Prediction: Off KO

Undercard Predictions:

Fried: KO

Monster: KO

Alvarez: Submission

Lawn: Submission

Androula: KO

Konflikt FC XII PREVIEW:

Ikki Takeda: Hi guys I'm Ikki Takeda here with your preview of this Saturday's up coming event. I took a step back as I've been dealing with the loss of my rescue who I had for over 5 years and was like my daughter and I protected her from everything except for cancer. But enough of that let's get to what brings us here and get on with the show.

Ikki Takeda: The Main Event is a 155 pound contest at The Underground in Las Vegas. It is between Bobby Dazzler(3-1) and Carson Wood (2-1). Both guys are coming off a loss looking to get back in the winning circle. It is your classic striker versus grappler match up. As always the question will be can the striker Dazzler keep the fight on the feet and avoid the takedowns, and can the grappler Wood get the fight to the ground and empose his will? I know my thoughts on this is in the favor of Wood by submission. I won't be surprised either way in this fight.

Ikki Takeda: The Co-main is a 135 pound bout between two tough fighters in another striker versus grappler match up. Basket Case (5-1) has a wealth of experience as a striker and Disco Kid (1-1) has some of the best wrestling in Konflikt. There is no doubt in anyone's mind if Kid can takedown Case. The question is can he do it before Case gets the KO? My thoughts on this one is a resounding win for Kid by submission and a fight that is way too soon for Case to be taking on such an accomplished wrestler. But hey guys that's why I don't make the big bucks.

Ikki Takeda: The third fight on the Main Card is between Benjamin Boogie (2-1) and Pontso Pelti (0-2). Boogie is a well rounded fighter who has striking, wrestling, and some bjj and is the favorite in this fight. Pelti also a well rounded fighter and much better than his record would suggest. Both of his fights were against the same fighter losing them both. Once on the local stage and his introduction fight into Konflikt. I got to sit down with Pelti.

Ikki Takeda: Pelti thank you for sitting down with me.

Pontso Pelti: You are welcome.

Ikki Takeda: So you have a fight in just a few short days with Benjamin Boogie. What are your thoughts on your opponent and your state as a fighter starting your career out as 0-2?

Pontso Pelti: Honestly I don't think much about Boogie. I have the better wrestling to choose where this fight takes place and I think my striking is better. So I think I win this fight anyway I want to. Well I am starting out with a bad record but we all have to start somewere and I started my career only face 1 guy multiple times who KO'd me quickly both times and faster each time. Monster just has my number.

Ikki Takeda: Do you think you would like to avenge those losses to him?

Pontso Pelti: Well of course I do, but I'm 0-2 against the guy so no way they are going to let me fight him again anytime soon. So I will get better and just become a completely different person than he had saw the previous two times so that it doesn't matter if he has my number I won't be the same guy,

Ikki Takeda: I have you by KO in this fight. And I have to continue my show and all I have time for but I want to thank you for stopping by,

Ikki Takeda: The fourth fight on the card is a fight I will be having another interview with the champion of the 145 pound division and him not defending his belt in a 145 pound fight Hoddy McNeal (4-0) as he faces off against Andre Lawson (2-1). McNeal can a solid striking game and a great clinch with a good sprawl. Lawson has great takedowns and a solid bjj game but a suspect chin.

Ikki Takeda: I have McNeal here and my first question is why aren't you defending your belt?

Hoddy McNeal: I heard they had problems again with Nevada State Athletics Commission sanctioning a title fight.

Ikki Takeda: It seems that Konflikt is having some conflict getting approval for title fights as fights that are suppose to be title fights and champions being scheduled fights that aren't title fights. As a fighter is this a red flag for you?

Hoddy McNeal: Not really I didn't even know I wasn't defending my title until a couple of days ago. All I do is receive a contract with a name and a place to sign. I don't look it over. I just sign. I let my manager worry about the managing and the coaches worry about the training and only look at the name so I can tell the coaches who to train me for. As a fighter though finding out I think it kind of diminishes what being a champion means if you aren't defending the belt and its bad for the division as well.

Ikki Takeda: Thank you for sitting down with McNeal and you win by KO for the record.

Ikki Takeda: The fight that kicks off the Main Card is another 145 pound fight and is between the bjj phenom Nathaniel Fredo (3-1) and muay thai sensation Eric Drenthe (1-1). Both of these fighters have a loss to the other's strengths. What will happen when the cage door slams and these two collide? Time will tell Saturday. I have Fredo by submission though.

Ikki Takeda: And it's time for my undercard predictions. Jr by KO, Jensen by KO, McBoxingMan by submission, Satoshi by gnp, and Mailic by KO in a weird fight between two guys by the same manager.

IRON SHEIK

-------------------

The last man I fought, retired after being locked in the cage with me. Wilfredo Gomez is about to find out why. One day, somebody might beat me in a fight, but it will not be Gomez. First round, I will knock him out.

Good evening, fight fans! The tension is high in the offices of Konflict FC on the eve of Konflict FC XII, now that all the contracts are signed and the ink is dry the only thing we can do is sit back and wait for the fireworks. Here's a little bit of what Konflict FC XII has in store for you.

Konflict FC 145 lb. champ Hoddy McNeil is a god damn machine. After walking through the Kings of Konflikt tournament, the 18 year old champion is set to defend his title against all comers.

" A slow jab from Fredo misses its intended target.

McNeal lands a left and a right that send Fredo crashing to the mat, dazed. McNeal thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Nathaniel Fredo has been cut.

Fredo throws a body shot but no joy.

Oh Fredo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! "

"Fredo throws an off balance right hand

and McNeal counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!"

McNeil is set to face off against young submission specialist Andre Lawson, who has forced two of his three opponents to tap out. Well, to be fair, one of them wasn't able to tap out...

"McCallum content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Lawson has locked up a guillotine! Lawson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? McCallum is holding on here and Lawson must be using up a lot of energy. McCallum has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Lawson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!"

These two face off in a classic striker-grappler contest. Will McNeil be able to lay his powerful left hand on Lawson's chin, or will Lawson be able to weather the storm and drag his opponent down into dangerous waters? Tune in tomorrow for Konflict FC XII to find out!

Shout out to the fighters and managers here at Konflikt FC! You guys are among the best in the game, and it shows when it comes time to book a card. Thanks to you guys for always being ready to fight and responding to challenges quickly and efficiently. This helps us bring you more great events like the Super 6 Finals!

At 4-2 (2-2 in Konflikt FC), Japanese wrestler Shintaro Mifune is a veritable veteran among the young ranks at Konflikt. Although he dropped his first two fights here at Konflikt, he quickly rose to the challenge and shook off the cobwebs to secure two first round finishes. This has brought him to the Super 6 Elimination Round.

"Mifune raining down hammerfists from mount.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Mifune with good strikes from the mount here!

Mifune looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Skelator covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!"

"Mifune has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stalin uses from the top position.

Mifune is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mifune in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Stalin tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Mifune!"

At Super 6 Elimination Round, Mifune will face off against Thai Clinch specialist Noddy Holder.

"Quantum goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Nice elbow from Holder.

Quantum drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Holder lands an elbow inside.

Jeez, Pascal Quantum's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Holder gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Holder creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Quantum's defenses.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pascal Quantum's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!"

The 3-1 Kickboxer will be trying to use all eight limbs to turn this fight into a bloodbath; all three of his victories have come by way of doctor stoppage. It's a good thing his fight is the main event, or the rest of the field would have to swim through blood to fight each other!

Will the grappler have his way, or will the Kickboxer be able to keep the fight standing up? With Vegas odds at 5:1 in favor of Mifune and his Japanese submission wrestling, it's clear what the professionals think, but this is MMA and anything can happen once the cage is locked.

Also sharing the cage that night:

Voli Bear vs. Jon Rudskogen

Wife Beater vs. Jimmy Del Mundo

Dakota Otoua vs. Mikhail Popkov

Severi Damage vs. Jimmy Rage

Mikey McClean vs. D Chowder Jones

Eric Waylen vs. Herb Brooks

Damien Alvarez vs. Do It Yourself

Shawn MacArthur vs. Mister Happy

Lamont Banner vs. Herbert Mullin

Be sure to tune in and watch all of your favorite gladiators clash at Konflikt FC Super 6 Finals!
