DARE 1 - Live from The Underground, Amsterdam (1,000)

155lbs: Marky "The Midas" Mark vs Mantak "The Mongoose" Cebu
Weight:164 lbs Weight: 162 lbs
Record: 1-0-0 (W-----) Record: 5-1-0 (LWWWW)

Pre:
Mantak "The Mongoose" Cebu is a high-level Muay Thai practitioner originally from Laos, Muan Xon before relocated to Las Vegas to become part of the prestigious Tayne's 4d3d3d3 Gym where he is said to spend countless hours sparring with his teammate CHOK DEE Promotions 205lbs champion Tayne Celeryman, known for his devastating leg strikes and thunderous body kicks it's safe to say this towering giant at 182 cm's tall has the reach advantage to keep most threats at bay, said to be one of the most self-confident fighters in his generation with a real propensity to knock people out at his leisure "The Mongoose" is no joke.

Mark "The Midas" Mark started his career as part of world renowned Krypteia class of 2016 based out of Bjorn's Elite Team training facilities in New York, finding initial success at SP ICON: Back to Reality on the 18th of February 2017 winning a Unanimous Decision victory over BJ "The Prodigy" Penn it was a surprise to many in the industry when Bjorn O'Donnel made the decision to part ways with "The Midas", fortunately, rising manager Adam Holland of the Aspire MMA organisation decided to make a pitch to Marky Mark and following the foundation of the Aspire Academy based out of Las Vegas it was set, "The Midas" was now part of Team Aspire. That was month's ago, with little word coming out of the secretive camp as a generation of combatants drill relentlessly to become the main eventers of tomorrow, with "The Midas" amongst the first to seek his fortunes in the cage.
When asked for comment Marky had little to say, in a brief yet strange encounter with "The Midas" on his way out of the Aspire Academy last week, reporter Janice Royce was able to catch a few words with the upcoming prospect.

Royce: "Marky is it possible to get a few words on your upcoming opponent Mantak Cebu? fans online are predicted he's going to knock you out! what do you have to say to that?"
Marky: "If I take him down, he's tapping out, it's that simple. If he hit's me ill just shake it off like my hero Taylor Swift, ya'mean?"
Royce: "Taylor Swift?!?!?"
Marky: "Eh... yeah, sorry guy's I gotta go, its time to take my medication... nobody wants a Cranky Marky!"
Marky: "Unless you do?"

Royce decided it was best to leave Marky to his own devices at that point, puzzled that a fighter would choose such a song for his prime time debut with newly established Daredevils MMA, the newest addition to the 290k+ ID range.

Preview for DARE 1

In Amsterdam's Underground, a new game will be in town. DARE 1 is about to change the landscape of Amsterdam's fighting scene. Dropping in an anything but subtle fashion, DARE 1 kicks things off with a teeth shattering bang! Ten fights, that will make up the first ever Daredevils MMA event, are scheduled for tonight.

Oddis Slajos (3-1) vs Tommy Gavin (1-0)

Bantamweight bout

The first ever Daredevils MMA fight and opener for DARE 1 will take place at 135. Oddis Slajos and Tommy Gavin will battle it out. All in order to see, who will be the first one to ever get his hand raised under the DARE banner. Despite not having fought much, both men have been in pro training for quite a while now. So either man's record greatly obscures their actual ability.

Thomas Raske (1-0) vs Spider Minor (1-1)

Welterweight bout

Following is a bout at 170, Thomas Raske vs. Spider Minor. This fight also pits two fighters against each other, who are at the beginning of their prize fighting efforts. Both have a very broad base of skills, taking the jack of all trades approach. So, just like in the fight before, it is kind of hard to see where this one might go. Which is often the best recipe for an exciting fight …… or a boring stalemate. Virtually anything can happen!

Ryan "Jaded" Parks (0-3) vs "Red Ribbon Armys" Android Eighteen (2-4-1)

Bantamweight bout

This fights pits two combatants against each other, who could both do well with a win, as both have losing records at this point in time. With Ryan Parks having an imperfect 0-3 to his name. Should he also fail to best Android 18, who so far has turned out to be not the sturdiest of Android's, then he will go down the path of whipping boy for all purposes.

Owen "The Crazy One" Kyle (3-4) vs Simon "Unbreakable" Udovich (2-0)

Super Heavyweight bout

The fourth fight will reveal to fans that Daredevils MMA also has a super heavyweight division. And in best 265+ tradition, two big sluggers will try to take their heads off. Don't let the four losses of Kyle foll you. All these came by way of submission. And he is going up against a KT fighter in Simon Udovich. So until the latter doesn't surprise us with some slick ground game, this one will be resolved on the feet, where both man have a 100% knockout ratio to their names.

Mantak "The Mongoose" Cebu (5-1) vs "The Midas" Marky Mark (1-0)

Lightweight bout

The undercard will be finished off by this fight at 155. Mantak Cebu is a Muay Thai stylist with a very active kicking game and a 100% knockout ratio. He will go up against Marky mark, who comes from a boxing background and is arguably the better grappler of the two, but has just one fight to his name. Cebu's six fights are likely to give him the advantage in the experience department.

Adam Baumann (4-1) vs Mark "The Smashing Machine" Kerr (1-1)

Heavyweight bout

The main card will be kicked off by two heavyweight youngsters, looking for some more glory in order to get their name out. Adam Baumann is the favorite here, for he is remarkably skilled for a fighter of 21 years of age and has shown already, that he finds ways to end fights, no matter where they go. He won two via submission and two via KO. Mark Kerr will have his hands full, but by the same token could gain massive recognition, should he manage to pull off the upset.

"Droppin Bombs On Ya Moms" The Prophet (6-3) vs Vike Nickolson (8-11)

Bantamweight bout

As we go up the card, more experienced fighters start to show up. The Prophet has proven to be a comparably busy youngster already, going 6-3 in his nine career fights at the still very young age of 22. He has weaknesses on the ground, which he will need to address, but is a dangerous fighter on the feet, where he is showing tremendous endurance and a reliable chin. An all around durable striker, who can be very dangerous if things become as scrappy as he loves them to be. His opponent, Vike Nicholson, is a journeyman, who is actually a very good wrestler and gets his best work done in the clinch. However, he is often far too content to keep things standing. Something that has cost him time and time again in the past and that he better wants to avoid against the violent Prophet, who will clearly have the edge in that department.

Ryan Riggs (10-1) vs Tony "The Twister" Spareno (1-1)

Heavyweight bout

Flowing is a fight that looks far more lopsided on paper than it actually is. Ryan Riggs, rocking a 10-1 record, may be tempted to think that he will simply run through Tony Spareno, who is just 1-1 so far. However, Tony's last fight was quite a while ago. And given his youth, it will be hard to properly estimate just how sizable the advances are, that he has made since. So Ryan Riggs better makes intelligent use of his heavy hands. Otherwise he may to have some explaining to do afterward.

Mike "Inner Chimp" Tycoon (14-4) vs Sampsa "Metsä" Pellervoinen (6-1)

Light Heavyweight bout

The co-main event will see to hard punchers collide. Both typically win their fights by knockout. But their paths to this outcome are drastically different from each other. Tycoon is a busy, hard-hittin' puncher, who is at home in the clinch and in open exchanges on the feet. Pellervoinen, in contrast to that, is a typical ground an pounder, who really starts going to work mercilessly and quickly, once he brings the fight to mat. He also has some submission skills, that he can use to his advantage. This one pits two stylistically different finishers against each other. Don't count on it going the distance!

Artie "Beer League" DeVanzo (39-23-1) vs Carlos Centurion (31-10-2)

Welterweight bout

DARE 1 will be concluded by this special main event. Both fighters signed exclusively for this opportunity to fight each other! They both are veterans of the sport with over 30 victories to their respective names. And should “Beer League” win this one, he would have his 40th win in dry wraps. That will be easier said than done, though. For Carlos Centurion is one tough, grizzled veteran, who has great endurance and has been put away decisively just five times throughout his career. He is a super busy puncher and leg kicker and also scores frequently in the clinch, using all of his limbs to great effect. DeVanzo will likely try to get some quality time on the ground going for him, where he will have the aggressive edge. This one is wide open, because both these veterans still have quite a bit of fight left and the experience to make it count. Don't miss this one!

Preview for DARE 2

Not even the wealthiest or most loyal of patrons in Wild Bob's Bar will know, what they have done to deserve a treat like DARE 2 taking place in their hovel of choice. And neither do we. But it will happen. Chairs and tables will be put to the side and a cage will rise. It will serve as a container for twenty pissed of individuals, squaring off in ten fights for guts, glory, bragging rights and, most important of all, your viewing pleasure.

Undercard

The Reverend Jim "Iggy" Ignatowski (2-1) vs Chapin Brisebois (0-3)

Middleweight bout

DARE 2 will be opened by a fight between a 22 year old prospect from a reputable division one stable (Ignatowski) and another 22 year old, who is rooting for his first W in his pro MMA career (Brisebois). Even though Chapin Brisebois is said to be a hard hitting striker he has yet to win a fight, going into his fourth outing. Three times an apparently underdeveloped submission defense bit him in the ass. Naturally his opponent, Jim Ignatowski, is heavily favored. And while a win over him would point toward a significant turn for Brisebois, one has to wonder if he hasn't bitten off way more than what he can chew.

Niko Alzate (3-1) vs Brian Baker (debut)

Light Heavyweight bout

The next fight pits a debuting fighter in Brian Baker against an other youngster, who has done fairly well so far in Niko Alzate. Alzate is coming from the same stable (and the same gym) as the aforementioned Jim Ignatowski. So the preparations for DARE 2 were probably running at full steam over there. And one would expect him to have a sizable edge against a debuting fighter. Brian Baker, who comes form a boxing background, has trained for quite a while already before considering his pro debut. Which makes him a wild card, that is tough to estimate. All that is known is that he hails from a boxing background. As does Alzate.

Fredrick "Tough Pride" Darcy (4-3) vs Jamal Thatcher (1-0)

Super Heavyweight bout

Fredrick "Tough Pride" Darcy, by his own account, is a wealthy snob, who just fights for shits and giggles. And his idea of fun is to go in there, slug it out like a mad man until one guy collapses. Be it him or his opponent. Both have been frequent outcomes in his fights so far and resulted in mixed success for the English money sack. Looking forward to meet him in the cage is Jamal Thatcher, who stands over two meters taller but is just slightly bigger than Darcy. Not much is known about him, other than that he knocked his first and so far only opponent out in a grand total of ten seconds!

Douglas "Muscle Hamster" Marvin (0-1) vs Steven Jr Williams (2-0)

Featherweight bout

Again, two fighters in the spring of their young careers are scheduled to throw down in this fight. The “Muscle Hamster” suffered defeat in his first pro fight and will look to redeem himself. If his first fight was any indication, he is a bit of a jack of all trades and a wrestle-boxer with an emphasis on ground and pound. His opponent, Steven Jr. Williams, has won his first two career fights and is an BJJ brown belt. Something that Douglas Marvin better wants to be mindful of, given that he lost his first fight by submission. And unnecessarily so, as he was winning it on the scorecards. However, there are rumors that Marvin's training camp was plagued by inconsistencies, as he looked terrible lately and is currently not on weight, the lazy bastard!

Joe Victoria (1-0-1) vs Titan "Crazy" Old (1-0)

Bantamweight bout

The last fight on the undercard figures to be a wrestling and ground fighting affair. Joe Victoria is a takedown artist and Titan Old is a submission grappler. Both come into this fight in stellar conditioning. A factor that is likely to make the difference here, should this become a grappling war of attrition. Joe Victoria is not known for submission prowess so far. But he is small and compact, which may work to his advantage when being tested by Titan Old in that respect. Both fighters have quite a chin on them. So this one is not too unlikely to go the distance.

Main Card

Yuri "Bedlam" Bedlaminov (2-2) vs Marv Ellis (5-2)

Heavyweight bout

The first fight on the main card will pit two hard hitters at heavyweight against each other. Yuri Bedlaminov has a big right hand and is an excellent puncher, but still was knocked out in both of his defeats, which raises questions about his chin. Something that his opponent Marv Ellis will probably have well scouted, since he has been proven so far to be a reliable finisher himself (four times by KO, one time by submission). Ellis is technically a versatile fighter, though not outstanding in any discipline. Whereas Bedlaminov has the more educated hands. And he better proves that or a third loss by knockout may be coming his way.

John Carter (8-4) vs Leszek Sobota (4-0)

Welterweight bout

In the next one, two fighters with 100% KO ratios will draw the line in the sand. John Carter has the undeniable experience edge in this one. He has knocked out everyone, who he has ever beaten. However, he also been beaten before the final bell in all of his defeats. Two times by knockout and two times by submission (though, one TKO was because of a cut). So in his 12 career fights he never went the distance. And this fight is not terribly likely to change anything about that. For his unbeaten opponent is a 4-0 unbeaten knockout artist himself. However, John Carter is clearly the most experienced fighter that Sobota ever had to share the cage with. Going 5-0 against him would be a marquee win for Sobota. Easier said than done, though.

"Magic" Mike Charles (6-0) vs Jon "JJ" Johnson (6-2)

Bantamweight bout

Magic” Mike Charles is one of the most promising prospects in DARE's 135 division. Unbeaten so far, he has proven himself to be a highly skilled grappler. With an admirably developed wrestling game and a brown belt in BJJ at the age of 21 one, many figure that he could go far. His opponent Jon Johnson is six years the older and not really much more experienced in MMA. But he won four out of his last five and is a super busy grinder in the clinch, who beats up his opponents with buckets of dirty boxing. Should his submission defense and positional game be on cue, then he could prove to be a very uncomfortable opponent for “Magic” Mike Charles.

Johnny Cage (21-7) vs Nova "Bombastic" Zigaman (17-10)

Heavyweight bout

The co-main event has two special guests facing off. Johnny Cage, a proven name in the world of MMA and notorious Journeyman Nova Zigaman will be at each other's throats. Both fighters are known for their vanity, to talk the talk and to walk the walk. When these two egomaniacs come to blows, one ego will be destined to leave with a bit of luster coming off, whereas the other will be even more insufferable. But that is all easy to forgive if we just focus on the fight itself. Cage is a striker, who cannot be bothered with the ground at all. He has a reliable takedown defense and is rarely tested in that respect. Zigaman is a bit of a surprise bag. He has no clear path to victory but also is not necessarily easy to game-plan against, for he has no glaring weaknesses. His MO however, is pretty clear, as he will push the pace and test Cage's takedown defense, since he is a ground fighter, who literally loves to get down and dirty.

Earl "Hogballs" Jeffries (5-3) vs Joe "All Blacks" Rokocoko (12-7)

Middleweight bout

The main event between Earl Jeffries and Joe Rokocoko pits two very aggressive fighters against each other, who have a similar approach to fighting. They both rely on their fists, but also handle themselves well in the clinch, where Jeffries' elbows are a noteworthy stable, which he uses to great effect. But both men got a bit too crazy in the past, which cost them. Great for us and potentially really bad for one of them! Rokocoko had yet an other change in management recently, So it will be interesting to see if that shows him improved or if it adds to the inconsistencies, which have dampened his career so far. But be that as it may, this fight is very volatile and could end in any fashion!

Preview for DARE ELIMINATORS

Daredevils MMA happily brings to you it's first addition of ELIMINATORS. Straight from the Underground in Amsterdam ten barely legal fights await. That's why it has to be done in the Underground. So that rich people with champagne and a sinister laugh can stand around the fights, bet on them, be delighted as blood sprays all over them and generally be pretty damn evil. Let's look at the 20 gladiators, who will bring entertainment to the spoiled, cocaine addicted yuppies in attendance.

Ruben "Diamond" Rivera (0-0-1) vs Cony "Barb" Davis (3-0)

Bantamweight bout

Ruben Rivera is a Muay Thai fighter. In his first fight he nearly exclusively tried to get by with a very pronounced kicking game. A tactic that he maybe wants to be way more conservative about, when he faces Cony Davis. For Davis is a submission grappler and would likely be presented with many takedown opportunities, should Rivera go to the well by throwing his legs around too much.

Lowell "Red" Bockert (4-0) vs Nigel "The Hammer" Gazelle (2-1)

Super Heavyweight bout

Lowell "Red" Bockert is unbeaten in his first four career fights at super heavyweight. Not bad so far, considering that KOs come fast in that weight division. He is a ground fighter, who can work submissions and ground and pound to get the job done. His opponent Nigel Gazelle so far lived and died by the knockout. Typical 265+ stuff. There are rumors that he had motivation problems for this bout. He will enjoy a reach advantage, but should Bockert get his hands on him, that will sort itself out quickly.

Terrace "Sinister Kid" Phillips (5-1) vs Randy "Magma" Cano (3-2)

Middleweight bout

Terrace Phillips has yet to be in a fight that makes it out in the first round and doesn't end by knockout. A puncher by trade, who uses his wrestling just defensively, Phillips is a scary striker indeed. Randy Cano can do a bit of everything but prefers to take things to the ground. And top control appears the position that he should opt for in this one. Because on the feet Cano is likely to be outgunned and endangered.

"Red Ribbon Armys" Android Eighteen (3-5-1) vs Vike Nickolson (8-12)

Bantamweight bout

On a mission of overcoming their losing records and climbing the ranks are Android Eighteen and Vike Nickolson. Nickolson is the more experienced fighter and should have a good shot at winning this one on the feet, since Android eighteen has been short-circuited four times already. But on the ground this may be the Android's fight to win. This fight will be won by whoever can dictate the level at which it takes place.

Gordon Cummins (3-1) vs Chayton "The Falcon" Littlestone (5-3)

Middleweight bout

Gordon Cummins is an all action fighter, who has also yet to see a second round. Being just 20 years old, many of his skills are still work in progress. So it will be interesting to see if he has added any new facets to his approach, which so far consisted primarily out of head hunting with his fists … and nothing else. Chayton littlestone is a bit of an odd one. Apparently being difficult to handle, he is with his fourth manager already. Stylistically he is a sensational wrestler, who is awkwardly willing to scrap and neglects his wrestling prowess much more than he should. Also the chin is suspect. Depending on if Littlestone as his act together tonight or not, this may prove to be a very tough or a very easy one for Cummins.

Gregory "Big Boy" Belcher (7-1) vs Dmitry "Winner" Klokov (1-0)

Heavyweight bout

The main card starts with the heavyweights in action. Gregory Belcher is a young submission artist, who's only ever loss came in his pro debut, where he was on the wrong end of a very close split decision. Being under new management, he joined the ranks of DARE to take the next step in his career. His opponent, Dmitry "Winner" Klokov, may just have one fight under his belt, but is a very gifted striker with very good boxing and dangerous hands. But given that his first fight was against a bona fide can, going against Belcher now is definitely a steep leap up in competition.

Kampatimar Shankariya (8-5) vs John Smith (5-8)

Super Heavyweight bout

And we go one weight class up. Kampatimar Shankariya is an Indian Mauler, who is delightfully violent and embodies everything that is to be loved about 265+. His thirteen career fights amount to a total of 23 minutes spent in the cage! Either he or his opponent goes unconscious …. and it happens fast. His opponent, John Smith, went through the same number of fights in only 14 and a half minutes. That is not even one full fight! Anybody, who does not bet the under here, is a complete idiot!

Jesus Malverde (4-2) vs Jon Axe (9-6)

Welterweight bout

Jesus Malverde is seen as one of the brightest prospects from Mexican soil, since he is remarkably gifted for a fighter of 22 years of age. And even though he slipped in his last two, many still have him on the radar as a guy, who could or even should go far. In his path stands journeyman Jon Axe, who will test Malverde's chin if he isn't as sharp as he needs to be. Axe knows only one way to fight and that is slugging it out with the fists. Be it on the feet, in the clinch or on the floor. A Jon Axe fight is the closest thing to a sanctioned hockey fight that you will ever see.

Julius "The Grinder" Strom (6-2) vs Cartel Lopez (12-4)

Welterweight bout

In the co-main event two fighters at 170 will try to make their cases for consideration, for whenever the first ever DARE welterweight championship will be booked. The deceptively nicknamed Julius "The Grinder" Strom is anything but a grinder. A guy with a 100% KO rate, who has never seen the final bell, can hardly be considered as a grinder. He had a change in management recently. So maybe his approach will be different now. Cartel Lopez is as stoic a submission artist as you will ever find. He goes for the ground with reckless abandon and doesn't even bother with any sort of striking. Then he stubbornly looks for submissions. And twelve times he found them, resulting in a 100% submission ratio.

T-R-T Vitor (8-1) vs Buck "Moose" Brown (17-4)

For the DARE Middleweight Championship of the World

The main event will see the first ever Daredevils MMA championship and it is for the 185 strap! The always in great shape T-R-T Vitor looked absolutely chiseled at the weigh-ins. He seemed very pumped in interviews about the upcoming title fight. Should he win the DARE middleweight title, it would be second career title for him, as he also holds the Kings of Cage middleweight title. He will have to beat Buck Brown to earn it. Buck Brown is a very capable submission grappler, who rose to considerable fame by being one of the last Island season's top middleweights. Now he is amidst making the transition towards the rest of the MMA world. And he could do so with a bang, by securing the first ever DARE championship!

DARE 3 (889224)

PREVIEW

HARD KNOCKS ARENA, AMSTERDAM

SATURDAY AUGUST 12, 2017

SPONSOR- DAUNTLESS

BOOKMAKERS- UNDER THE TABLE

Daredevils MMA returns this weekend with another spectacular card featuring ten exciting bouts with a main card that will bring all the fans on the edge of their seats. Lets get started on the main card preview.

Steven Petersen 2-1 MMA "The Beast" Marat Magomedov 6-0 MMA

Steven Petersen will have a handful when he takes on former Carnage Lightweight Champion Marat Magomedov. " The Beast" holds a perfect 6-0 record and defended his title once before Carnage went out of business. He has dangerous skills on the ground with his sambo background, but five of six wins have come by stoppage due to his powerful striking. Petersen, although not as experienced has the tools available to spoil the debut of the former Carnage Champion. He is on a two fight win streak with both by KO. Petersen has remarkable stand up and is not afraid to fight on the ground as well. This should be a real entertaining fight, as we should expect it to not go to a decision.
Kayring Saiarr 5-1 MMA Suchart "Somboon " Cobb 4-0 MMA

Between these two warriors are nine wins, all nine are by KO. If there is a fight to expect a slug fest it would be this one. Both fighters are making their DARE MMA debut, but Saiarr has the slight experience advantage. Saiarr riding a five fight win streak, brings in exceptional boxing and a strong wrestling base. He will face Suchart Cobb a native of Thailand who will bring a pure muay thai stand up to counter the boxing pedigree of Saiarr. This could come down to who has more control to either clinch or break the clinch.

Connor MacManus 12-5-1 MMA Roger Dawson 5-0 MMA

MacManus is a two time former champion of Amsterdam Fighting League, a veteran and a warrior. Connor is on a two fight losing streak and is looking to make a statement here in his debut versus Dawson. If Connor MacManus is to succeed, he will need to use his expertise as a ground specialists as half of his wins have come by way of submission. Dawson, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana has a good blend of boxing with grappling skills. He has not lost a fight by submission in his career and shows that he has a great gas tank as he can go the distance in his fights.

Co-Main Event

Dawid Cpw 8-2 MMA Valentin "Second After God" Nasimentu 22-19 MMA

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39w24.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/18/18w21.jpg

A special 5x5 minute rounds for the co-main event pits two heavyweights, each at different points in their careers who will cross paths to glory. The 35 yr old Valentin is the veteran who looks to continue a path of destruction for those not ready. He will look to rebound from his last outing which was a loss in his 3rd attempt at a title. With no decision losses on his record, it shows us that he will go out fighting standing or on the ground. Dawid CPW is on a 5 fight win streak and can get it done standing or on the ground as well. Strangely enough he has no decision losses as well. The primary skill sets of both fighters are very similar, and it may come down to strategy vs. age.

Main Event of the Evening

Azar Qasi 19-11-1 MMA "The Little Ginger Prince" Chris Karter 15-8-2 MMA

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b16.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14520799494870.png

Chris Karter comes into DARE 3 with one thing on his mind, to show Amsterdam that he still has what it takes to be the fighter he used to be, a multiple organization title holder with several defenses to his credit. Karter has been on a slide as of late, and would like nothing better than to have this opportunity in the main event to show why he will be the last man standing. Karter has KO ability, but it has been awhile since it has been shown. He has fought many tough fights where he has lost to the judges, he needs to find a way to win either by striking or on the ground if he wants to change history. Daredevils Azar Qasi will be making his promotional debut in this fight, once a suitable opponent was found. He is way too experienced and skilled to be a regular fighter within the ranks of the promotion, so this falls perfectly with his train and fight on his own terms lifestyle. Qasi is very similar to Karter as he has had trouble losing out on decisions and to take this fight to the ground will be a strategy he may look to for success, as for Karter he has more wins by KO than Qasi. This fight may come down to which of these two have trained their mind more than their body, strategy will be of upmost importance.

Daredevils MMA will run it's fourth main show in front of 3.000 Dutch stoners. DARE 4 returns to the same venue that DARE 3 was held in, the Hard Knocks in Amsterdam. Also on this card: many, many new faces (half of which will be smashed in), who make their DARE debuts. Here is the card in all it's glory!

Steve "Cyber " Starting (debut) vs Kelly Newhouse (debut)

Super Heavyweight bout

Two debutantes at 265+? Fuck yeah! Clumsy violent men, wildly flailing at each other with aspirations and dreams of greatness! Do you know that feeling, when you are standing in a long line of people, bored out of your mind. But then a turmoil somewhere behind you puts you out of your stupor. You turn around and are delighted to see two idiots come to blows. This fight causes similar feelings. What a way to start the card!

Phil Baker (debut) vs Elton "Lost Chain" Korth (2-0; DARE debut)

Middleweight bout

Phil Baker is debuting as well. His opponent will be former prisoner Elton Korth, who is reported to have some motivational problems lately. Which is understandable. After a few years in prison, where every day provided the risk of being stabbed to death with a toothbrush or something, that bit of cage fighting has to be quite underwhelming.

Buddy "Dynamite" Dixon (2-2; DARE debut) vs Harold "Hateful" Meechum (2-1; DARE debut)

Heavyweight bout

These two DARE debuting heavyweights are both in desperate need of money. At this point they both would happily fight each other to the death in a parking lot if anybody would pay them for it. Both have tasted victory and defeat in their young careers. Two careless sluggers, who are young and need the money? This card is getting better and better!

Steven "The Warrior" Williams (3-2; DARE debut) vs "Ice Cold" Igor Vovchanchyn (1-0; DARE debut)

Featherweight bout

On paper Steven Williams is the more experienced man. Closer inspection reveals however, that he only has fought in the QFC bush leagues so far. Also his beaten opposition has a combined record of 1-6. And now he thinks, that he can hang with a crazy Russian, who goes by the moniker of “Ice Cold”? Preposterous! I believe he will be mollywhopped. And would this be an eighties to mid nineties martial arts movie, his head would bounce of the mat in slow motion, while his corner men (the baby-faced main character) would run to his aid and scream something among the lines of “Nooooo!” or “Steeeeeve!”. But since evil Russians are a thing again, maybe that is exactly what will happen. Tune in to find out!

Ibbe "The Ferret" Ribbler (1-1; DARE debut) vs Gorkem "Pretty Boy" Tuncer (4-1; DARE debut)

Lightweight bout

Ibbe Ribbler (is this an artistic name?) and Gorkem Tuncer are two Swedish up and comers. Tuncer has the advantage of being a bit more experienced and of having fought outside of the QFC already. However, after a coffee shop binge he presented himself in god awful shape during the weigh-ins, gazing red-eyed in the general direction of the audience. Good thing that this fight is contested at 155, where Tuncer doesn't have to cut weight. Otherwise the lazy fuck would miss weight for sure. But maybe he can pull a Jon Jones and win anyway.

Tommy Gavin (2-0; 1-0 in DARE) vs "The Devious" Gregory O Connor (4-4; DARE debut)

Lightweight bout

The main card will be opened by Tommy Gavin and Gregory O Connor. Gavin is the first man to ever win a fight in Daredevils MMA, since he bested his opponent in the opener of DARE 1. Trying to become one of DARE's own and finest, he now seeks to abuse Gregory O Connor. Realistically Gavin should have this in the bag. But with these young fighters you never know. One pair of tits in the wrong moment and it is all over!

Yuri "Boyka" Boyka (5-3; DARE debut) vs Elie Sounamana (2-1; DARE debut)

Middleweight bout

Yuri Boyka loves his last name so much that he also chose it as his moniker. He has yet to prove his beloved name outside of the QFC, where he has presented himself as a master of attrition, curiously winning most of his fights by decision. Something not seen often at this level of the sport. His opponent Elie Sounamana from Guyana is also an QFC only fighter, as far as MMA is concerned, but did compete as a kick boxer. His Muay Thai and striking power should be enough for him to be competitive in this one.

Vitaly Minakov (4-3; DARE debut) vs Knutr Sveinsson (3-1; DARE debut)

Heavyweight bout

With Vitaly Minakov it has been pretty cut and dry so far: He either knocks his opponents out in under a minute or he loses the fight if it goes any longer than a minute. Showing complete disregard for such tactical nonsense like “pacing” (GAAAAAY!), he just swings with everything he has until he practically collapses on his own. Knutr Sveinsson however, is excelling at knocking out people himself. And he has a big reach advantage. So maybe he just has to extend his fist when Minakov inevitably runs towards him.

Danny Studge (11-1; DARE debut) vs "The Midas" Marky Mark (2-0; 1-0 in DARE)

Lightweight bout

The co-main event pits Danny Studge and Marky Mark against each other. And while an 11-1 guy vs a 2-0 guy would seem like a massive mismatch, in this case it isn't. Danny Studge has proven himself to be a collector of belts in three organizations. In fact, his last seven fights have all been title fights! A gold standard, hat he would love to return to. But he will have to beat Marky Mark first in order to do so. And Marky Mark is not your average beginner. Completely by-passing the obscurity of QFC fights, Marky Mark is looking to make an impact by taking the fast lane. And has shown decent skill so far, albeit he has yet to reveal some more killer instinct.

Bjorn "Ironside" Ragnarsson (10-0; DARE debut) vs David Cerrone (7-1; DARE debut)

Heavyweight bout

This main event could very well bring forth a title contender at 265. Bjorn Ragnarsson boasts an impressive 10-0 record. Something not often seen in the concussive heavyweight rankings. He is the last Carnage heavyweight champion, a 16 men tournament winner and strung all this together while maintaining a 100 % KO ratio. A force to be reckoned with and marveled at for sure! His opponent will be David Cerrone. A scary HW prospect in his own right. Cerrone has proven himself to be a versatile threat, winning three times by KO and three times by submission. He was a former Carnage HW champ himself and also won two fights by first round KO while competing at 265+, which is a testament to his power. Even though both men dominated on the same stomping grounds before joining Daredevils MMA, they never faced each other. This is bound to change by virtue of this fantastic main event!

Preview for DARE 5

From the Hard Knocks Arena in Amsterdam, Daredevils MMA brings to you the fifth installment of it's main show. A humble jubilee. But a jubilee nonetheless. And one of many to come. As such it is more than worthy of being headlined by two title fights, in which the first ever DARE Light Heavyweight Champion and first ever DARE Super Heavyweight Champion will be crowned.

Undercard

Ryan "Jaded" Parks (0-4; 0-1 in DARE) vs Tristan "The Spear" Lancier (pro debut; 5-2 in TWGC)

Bantamweight bout

Saying that Ryan Parks was up for a bumpy career start so far would be an understatement. He basically fell off a cliff. Looking to get a hold of anything in order to get things back on track, he agreed to now fight a debuting fighter. Tristan Lancier will have his very first MMA fight. But grappling enthusiasts may know about him already. For he is the reigning TWGC Division 4 champion! He now looks to transfer his skills into the cage, where he hopes to be equally successful.

Mark "The Smashing Machine" Kerr (1-2; 0-1 in DARE) vs Tony "The Twister" Spareno (1-2; 0-1 in DARE)

Heavyweight bout

These two heavyweights have much on the line. For another loss may very well put either man's job in jeopardy. Both guys use the clinch to control the action. But Mark Kerr typically looks to use it as an opening to the ground, where he has a nasty game of ground and pound game, should he get on top. If he doesn't however, he has shown himself to be very vulnerable. Tony Spareno likes to keep things standing. Often remaining in the clinch to punish his opponent with dirty boxing techniques. Both guys are still very crude, but their strengths in this one are clear cut. Could be a short one. For both men need a decisive win!

Spider Minor (1-2; 0-1 in DARE) vs Leszek Sobota (4-1; 0-1 in DARE)

Welterweight bout

Also coming from a limp start in their respective first fights for Daredevils MMA are Spider Minor and Leszek Sobota. Spider Minor is pretty much a straight-up puncher whereas Leszek Sobota is a wrestler by trade, who uses a controlling clinch game to wear down his opponents until he lands a money shot. His stand-up striking is certainly more crude than Minor's. Put the power in his knuckles is real and nothing to sleep on! Rather something to be sleeping because of it. He does have sometimes a tendency to get caught up in prolonged exchanges, where his wrestling prowess is useless. Something that he would want to avoid against the more technically versed Minor.

Diego "Rocky" Balboa (3-2; DARE debut) vs Clubber "Killer" Lang (1-0; DARE debut)

Light Heavyweight bout

After Clubber Lang killed Balboa's coach (sort of), it is nut cutting time! Be inspired and amazed how two men block all punches with their faces and fight in dramatic fashion!

……..

ADRIAN!

Ruben "Diamond" Rivera (1-0-1; 1-0 in DARE) vs Titan "Crazy" Old (2-0; 1-0 in DARE)

Bantamweight bout

Having won their first fights under the DARE banner, both fighters are eager to get a winning streak going. This one will be interesting! Rivera is a punisher in the clinch, using the combined forces of his wrestling prowess and MT background to batter his opposition with knees and hands alike. Titan Old on the other hand is a ground fighter and typically uses the clinch as an entry into his takedown attempts. Since this fight is very likely to end up in the clinch fast, the question will be if Old can get this to the ground in good time. Because if not, he will find himself in a place, where he'd rather not be.

Main Card

Jordan Dahl (4-2; DARE debut) vs Mantak "The Mongoose" Cebu (5-2; 0-1 in DARE)

Lightweight bout

Debuting Jordan Dahl brings a very strong positional game to the table, that allows him to transition seamlessly, emphasizing his submission threat, which has won him the majority of his fights so far. But he will have to find his way past the striking game of Mantak Cebu, an MT stylist with very real power in his limbs. Cebu has lost his last two, though. Whether this lights a fire under his ass or if it is the sign of him operating at a level of opposition, that he is not equipped for, remains to be seen.

David Dickinson (11-7-1; 1-0 in DARE) vs Oddis Slajos (3-2; 0-1 in DARE)

Bantamweight bout

David Dickinson is a proven Journeyman, who can do a bit of everything. But all of his fighting ways lead to his BJJ black belt. His submission game is clearly his bread and butter. But he has many paths to find his way to it and can be patient if the circumstances ask for it. 10 of his 11 wins came by way of submission and he has yet o be submitted himself. Oddis Slajos is a ground and pounder, who throws quite a remarkable volume, once he gets on top. So Dickinson will have to be mindful about his approach to the ground game. For a wrong constellation on the mat could spell disaster for him given that his jaw is suspect.

Sampsa "Metsä" Pellervoinen (6-2; 0-1 in DARE) vs Ajala Awe (4-1; DARE debut)

Light Heavyweight bout

Not a man for long fights, Sampsa Pellervoinen has yet to see a third round. And only one of his eight career fights made it even out of the first. A wild and rugged wrestle boxer with bricks for hands, Pellervoinen is your quintessential MMA mauler. Phrases like “human cock fighting” were clearly inspired by him. His reckless approach however, maneuvered himself on the wrong end of a knockout twice. Something that he needs to be mindful of, when fighting the solidly chinned Ajala Awe, who throws quite a bit of volume ad is very accurate with it. Should Pellervoinen put him on his back however, then this one could turn really ugly for him.

Aleksey "jaw-breaking" Borodin (6-1; DARE debut) vs John Smith (6-8; 1-0 in DARE)

For the DARE Super Heavyweight Championship of the World

The co-main event will see the crowning of DAREs first ever 265+ Champion. Aleksey Borodin is heavily favored to claim this price. Built like a tank and with somewhat comparable power, the Russian giant is also very accurate with his striking. Making his power all the more deadly! But power isn't exactly a rare thing at super heavyweight. And John Smith, who secured all of his six wins by knockout, certainly has it as well. Borodin will have to be sharp. Especially early on. Because John Smith comes in swinging right away! And despite of him having a losing record, he actually has a 5-2 record over the course of his last seven. So he is much better than he seems on paper. And it never took him even two minutes to secure any of his wins. Don't even consider blinking!

Mike "Inner Chimp" Tycoon (15-4; 1-0 in DARE) vs Gobal Batra (8-4; DARE debut)

For the DARE Light Heavyweight Championship of the World

Gobal Batra is an all around capable fighter from India. Having been en route to become a promotional contender twice in his career, Batra ran out of luck on both occasions, when the companies (Carnage and the Amsterdam Fight League) closed their gates, just as he was stringing wins together. Now he gets to step up for a shot at Championship gold! He has to be super motivated, after these aspirations have been shut down two times, purely by circumstances out of his grasp. But he has easily the most demanding match-up in front of him, that his career has seen up until now. Mike Tycoon has emerged from the last Island season as one of it's most prolific knockout artists. 13 of his 15 career wins saw his opponents being dusted by his hands! He has one problem though, and that is his history of nasty cuts. 3 of his 4 losses where issued by the doctors. Something that could also become a factor in this fight, since Gobal knows his way around in a fist fight. Be it in the clinch or out in the open. Getting stitches and being such a hairy dude as the “Inner chimp” has to suck royally!

Preview for DARE Warlords

Straight from Helsinki's Kamppi Arena, Daredevils is bringing it's first installment of invading other countries. You know. Just like warlords would. But instead of sacking the place, we deliver a present. A fine card of action, including Daredevils MMA's very first title defense ever.

"The Monster" Lee Jung Park (5-3; DARE debut) vs Manuel Overide (0-2; DARE debut)

Super Heavyweight bout

Two DARE debuting 265+ pounders will get us started. Lee Jung Park and Manuel Overide are two hulking fighters. Standing both over two meters tall (especially Override, who is 220 cm), these two fighters are both just 19 years old. Lee Jung Park has already eight fights worth of experience. Only one of which was a QFC fight! Manuel Overide is a deceptive looking guy. He may look like a psycho, but he is actually fighting for a most noble cause if his Bio is to be believed. But he better starts winning soon. The orphans are counting on him.

Nigel "The Hammer" Gazelle (3-1; 1-0 in DARE) vs Jamal Thatcher (1-1; 0-1 in DARE)

Super Heavyweight bout

Following up is an other Super Heavyweight contest. These two fighters already had their first sniff at Daredevil's MMA competition. Nigel Gazelle was victorious in his first outing for the organization. Whereas Jamal Thatcher suffered defeat. Not much can be said about him, as his cage time out of two fights doesn't even amount in a total of two minutes. So he is a bit of an unknown quantity. Gazelle does have a slight edge in experience, but appeared to be in not the greatest of shapes at yesterday's weigh-ins. Good thing that they can be as fat as they want at 265+.

Gordon Cummins (3-1-1; 0-0-1 in DARE) vs Randy "Magma" Cano (3-3; 0-1 in DARE)

Middleweight bout

This middleweight bout is also one between two relative newcomers. Both with mixed success in their early careers. Cummins was only defeated once in his five career fights but drew in his first fight for Daredevils MMA. And Randy Magma, with his neutral record of 3-3, has to solidify his ways. His skill set is a bit all over the place, with nothing being really developed in a remarkable way. Whereas Gordon Cummins has proven himself to be a dangerous striker.

Kampatimar Shankariya (8-6; 0-1 in DARE) vs Lowell "Red" Bockert (4-1; 0-1 in DARE)

Super Heavyweight bout

Kampatimar Shankariya from India embodies everything, that is awesome about 265+. He replaces any technical finesse with glass cannon attitude. Somebody will be knocked the fuck out, before a stool makes it into the cage. Kampatimar Shankariya has yet to see a final round and yet to be in fight, where neither him nor his opponent get the clock cleared. He'll be facing Lowell Bockert, who uses his wrestling background to enforce ground and pound tactics. Bockert showed up in questionable shape, though.

Chosu McGrady (7-3; DARE debut) vs Billy Mundy (5-3; DARE debut)

Featherweight bout

Two DARE debuting featherweights will finish off this undercard. Both are not doing bad so far, but have yet to prove that they may be destined for greater things. Chosu McGrady is a wrestle-boxer from Ireland, who has a potent but also very detectable ground and pound approach to his fights. Billy Mundy is more versatile, uses an active kicking game and also has some submission prowess going for him. But he better should be careful with sticking his legs out too much. Because Chosu McGrady could be very well capable of resisting his submission threat and happily take this fight to the ground at his own leisure.

"Dr. Doom" Dementri Viscount (8-8; DARE debut) vs Paul "BAD GORILLA" Starker (8-3; DARE debut)

Heavyweight bout

This is a fight between two new entries to DARE's Heavyweight division. Dementi Viscount is a big heavyweight and has to cut nearly 20 pounds to make the weight. Accordingly he has spent more than half of his fights at 265+. But he was relatively more successful at 265, where he went 4-2. So signing for this weight class may be just the right career move for him. While his opponent, Paul Starker, has the more impressive looking record, he is also six years the older and was plagued by inconsistencies in management and training in the past.

Adam Baumann (5-1; 1-0 in DARE) vs Gregory "Big Boy" Belcher (8-1; 1-0 in DARE)

Heavyweight bout

These two heavyweights return to the Daredevils MMA cage for a second time and have both been victorious in their first two showings. Both have only been defeated once. Adam Baumann is a versatile finisher and has a solid striking game and submission prowess alike going for him. He is comfortable wherever the fight goes and can finish things standing or on the ground. Gregory Belcher is an up and coming Heavyweight submission artist, who is all about getting things to the ground asap and submitting his man. He typically simply chases takedowns and an average 63% hit rate shows, that he doesn't take long to get them. A very sturdy jaw line has so far made this detectable, yet hard to resist approach, viable for him.

Ruslan "Gladiator" Temirov (8-3; DARE debut) vs Vike Nickolson (9-12; 1-1 in DARE) - Bantamweight bout

This one could have major implications for the Daredevils Bantamweight title picture. A title, which is yet to be conquered for the first time. And Ruslan “Gladiator” Temirov could easily make a case for being a viable challenger. Since he was the last title holder of the 135 strap of Carnage. He is also on a five fight winning streak. But refusing to wait for a viable challenger for the Daredevils MMA title, he sought to return to action sooner rather than later. Vike Nickolson stepped up and is looking to spoil the arrival for the Carnage bantamweight champ. But there is no tip-toeing around it. The stars will need to aline perfectly for Nicholson, to make the upset happen. Because safe for the wrestling department, Temirov has massive stylistic edges over him everywhere else.

Jon Axe (9-7; 0-1 in DARE) vs Benson Whyte (11-4; DARE debut)

Welterweight bout

Feeling that he did under-perform in his first outing for Daredevils MMA, Jon Axe is looking to redeem himself by raining on Benson Whyte's parade. Being one of the more promising recent additions to DARE's roster, Whyte is still a developing but nonetheless relatively advanced fighter, who could go to places. But he'll have to get past hard hitting Jon Axe, first. Good thing that Whyte is quite capable in that regard himself. And Axe's jaw has cost him in the past. Bet the under in this one! Because I'll be damned if it goes the distance.

T-R-T Vitor (9-1; 1-0 in DARE) vs Libio Do Santos (9-2; DARE debut)

For the DARE Middleweight Championship of the World

The freak of nature cough that happened to become not only Daredevils MMA's first ever middleweight champion, but also it's first ever champion to begin with, is going by the name T-R-T Vitor. And as we all know, TRT stands for “Tremendously Refined Training”. The dude has abs! What is more important is that he is a complete savage in the cage. Having knocked out everybody that he ever beat! This makes him a natural …… a NATURAL fan favorite. He has to defend the Daredevils MMA 185 strap against Libio Do Santos. A fellow Brazilian and a man, who has the 100% submission ratio to match TRT Vitor's 100% K.O. ratio. It's a fight between to experts in their respective area. And what makes it even more intriguing is that both fighters, on the few occasions that they have been beaten, have succumbed to the exact thing that their opponent will bring to the table. A wild title fight is about to go down!

Daredevils MMA is a 290k + organization looking to put on exciting events around the world. We look to showcase fighters of different styles and backgrounds and will look to make fair fights. We also will hold Kickboxing events periodically and hope to bring more fans and managers into our organization's fan base.

New Contract Structure

We will be offering a more structured contract based by performance into our organization. This is to ensure the continued growth of the company finances as well as to create a more stable organization for years to come. Please review the new structure below.

New Fighter Contracts Base Structure

10 Fights won - 10 K

6-9 Fights won - 8 K

4-6 Fights won - 5 K

Under 4 - 3 K

Champions will get a 5 K increase when they win the title.

2 Division Champions will get 10 K extra per fight.

Champions who defend title successfully 3 times will get an extra 5 K per fight.

We will also be limiting our divisions to 12 total fighters in the future.

Inactivity of managers will result in cancellation of contracts.

I understand that we may lose some fighters due to the contract money changes, but to ensure our growth as a company we need to limit those amounts until we have more of a solid foundation.

"Magic" Mike Charles (301069)

So it took me a while to get over my first loss. But in that time it gave me the chance to prepare for my next contest.

Oddis, I don't like losing so i am sorry for what is about to happen to you in Hilo. You best be ready to tap, otherwise you risk permanent injury to yourself.
