I'm guessing by "this year" you mean "this season" instead yeah?

If it's 2015, it's pretty close. Do you give it to an already established name even though they didnt have a lot of 2015 fights? Light HeavyWeight would be my pick though even though Season 4 guys had more fights. He was 11-1 (2015), got to the tournament final, really high level wins at the time and all 6 of his non tournament fights were for the HG title.

If it's season 4, MUCH harder decision. I didn't follow it live as much, but I think a definite candidate is Nuke Laloosh. Two time Solitude Champion, end of season tournament winner, cracking wins specifically in the tournament and some great ones on the regular season. Maybe not the most qualified again since I didn't follow it.

If it's just last season then I honestly don't know. Tournament shook things up a bit. I'd go for Keto Belle as he was one of the very few (if not the only) Island's top fighters who finished as champions, top3 in their weight and won the tournament.

Well actually Patrick Seery finished as champion (14-1-0 record, his only loss avenged), top 2 in his weight class and won the tournament at 24 years old. But he's my fighter so I can't nominate him... :weeping:

How could I miss him? Definitely deserves a nomination. Main argument against him could be that he started late and didn't fought any good opponents (that probably why he stayed below my radar) but that argument was overthrown when he made his case against Chocula.

Tough lot to choose from, I am basing mine on quality of competition + records. Keto Belle, Darth Mauler, Ferdandu Palmier. All of them fought the best consistently and have great records to go along with it. Of course there are a load more i could name but those are the ones that stick out :D
