  1. @RioDJ I won the Blaze Featherweight Championship in my final fight on my current contract. I waited to see if management was going to offer me a renegotiation deal before I fought for the belt and they hadn't. Now I am a free agent, no I am THE FREE AGENT at one hundred and forty five pounds. I promise that my manager and I will make a decision ASAP on my future. We have gotten a ton of offers and some we've already turned down. More news to come shortly [ RDJ ]
  2. @BKLYNSTTN I won today , Ben Askren won today. We are the best at 170. Askren likes to talk out of his ass to his opponents. Fact is though that I am not only the better fighter but also the better talker. I'm not some 18nyear old beginner for you to beat up on. I'm going to level you. Talk shit now boi!!
  3. @CarterOrtizMMA The boss man Hare text me that I've been called out. I look everywhere online ? I see nothing. Boss says Little Igor Vovchanchyn text me and wants a fight, again I see nothing. You young boys get a taste of Gold and feel invisible but Little Igor is 5-3 , finished 3 times. That's not so invisible. I'm old man to you. I'm stepping stone to you. But unlike you, nobody has ever put a blemish on my career. You want a fight? Step up and call me out like a man. Xoxo Your Daddy, Carter Ortiz. ?
  4. "Giuliani lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Bargos falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!" The scene opens up inside a training room in Sydney, Australia. Rey Bargos is on the ground grasping with his younger brother. Everyone in the room has been a part of this training camp. Everyone in this room saw Rey fall from grace in his last fight and they all want revenge. As Rey locks up a RNC and his brother taps Rey lets go. He stands up and another fresh training partner jumps on the mat. This has been going on for forty minutes and Rey hasn't had a break. His manager and his head coach believe this next fight is a must win. They have Rey training everywhere for this camp , not just on his feet. " Last time he got put out , first time in his career. He woke up and didn't know where he was or what had happened. When we were in the back he was asking when the fight started. He didn't realize he had been knocked out already. That was tough to watch." Says Rey's manager. As Rey finishes another teammate on the mat he is given a break. He takes a sip of water and paces back and forth. " No days off…. Ain't got time for that shit." Rey says as he wipes himself down. A few hours later back at the fighter hotel Rey is sitting on his bed with his coach watching the Rudy fight. Discussing what he did wrong. Rey sees the knockout again and although he's seen it a bunch leading up to today it still bothers him. " I shouldn't of been that big into the damn clinch. He kept fighting it , I should've just stood and banged with him. It's okay though , we are going to run it back." Says Rey As the tape changes from Rudy to Guy River Rey notices a few things. He and his manager have studied all of his next opponents tapes. " Rey ain't going to say it but we all know he needs this win. He needs a boost of morale. He hasn't let that loss go , that's something that worries me. He needs to let that go and be ready for Guy." Says Rey's coach. Rey eyeballs his coach and nods in understanding. " I went into my last fight cocky , maybe on TV y'all saw this humble kid but on the inside I felt untouchable. Three straight wins , three knockouts in a row. After Frankie couldn't put me away I felt invincible. I felt like nobody is gonna knock me down let alone knock me out. All these sponsorships and all this money rolling in. I come from the dirt in Mexico, so having all this money and popularity it definitely inflated my ego. I needed that loss. I needed to remember that all this can go away in an instant. Looking at Guy I see a fighter that is confident in his skill set. We've seen him beat a really good submission fighter , we've seen him take heavy shots. I know about his ko power, I know about his wrestling. I am looking at this fight as a must win. My family back in Mexico depends on me to deliver. Tomorrow night you're going to see a side of Rey Bargos that you haven't seen before. I'm going out with a huge win or I'm going out on my shield. Tune in." Rey says as the scene ends.
  5. On the 14th of October Rey Bargos steps back into the cage for his chance to prove his worth yet again. 3 - 1 MMA , Bargos is looking to grow as a fighter and as a man at age 21. " I look at my losses in KT and MMA and I see a kid with lots of heart and little knowledge. You look at what I've done in my last three outings and it's proof to me that we are on the right path. Putting in the work , learning , grinding. I've had top tier guys offered to me but I had to say no thank you. I want to take my time on my walk to the top of the division. I want to be at my best when I arrive for my shot at the championship." Rey has been sparring with elite strikers as he steps up to fight Rudy "Ignition" Giuliani 4 - 4 MMA. Rudy is known for his boxing and Rey has to be ready for the best his opponent has. " Rudy is next , he is tough. I know he has KO's in all of his wins. Obviously his boxing and his strength are our biggest worries but I am confident in my skills. He has been knocked out cold four times in his KT and MMA career. I've never been finished in my career. We've had similar paths to get where we are. He was in KT but didn't blow up , I did KT but couldn't adapt my style to finishes. In MMA he finishes guys and in MMA I finish guys. This fight is really going to be fun for the fans. I am excited for them because I know the fireworks are coming!"
  6. Sucker Punch Pro Series #8 post fight presser. After his thirty six second win by stoppage against Tua Graves the now 3 - 1 Rey Bargos spoke with media members for the first time this week. Press 1 - Rey we went all week without seeing or hearing from you or your manager. A lot of us worried that something was wrong but after that performance we now know better. What went into the media silence this week? Rey - I was just focused on winning. We got into Sydney early last weekend and we set up shop at the hotel. My manager and my three coaches just kept me focused on Tua. I knew he was going to be tough and I wanted to be ready. Press 2 - You've won three straight fights now for this organization. That brings your mma record to 3-1 with your only loss being to current lightweight Champ Frankie Logan. We've all seen the progress you've made but I have to wonder how confident are you in yourself? Rey - I believe hard work pays off and part of the reason you haven't seen me or hears from me is because we've been working very hard. My team is diligent, we are smart and we are improving daily. As I improve as does my confidence, I'd say it's at an all time high. Press 3 - You've cranked off three knockouts, confidence is growing and your name is as well. Where do you think you'll be ranked after this win? Rey Bargos - Honestly those rankings aren't my concern. I feel like I am one of the best in this division, I just have to keep growing. I look at all those guys in the top ten, top five on paper and I see myself beating most of them right now. Give me more time to grow and get better and those other two or three guys will fall as well. Press 4 - You seem to think you're top five material but the guys you have faced aren't top tier. The men you've beaten aren't ranked in the top 10. When will you face competition on your level? Rey Bargos - If you did your homework you would know in this fight and in three of my four fights in this company I was the underdog. I was picked to lose yet I have won three in a row. You talk about my level of competition like these guys aren't skilled?! You can't hype them up beforehand and then write them off after I knock em out just because you were wrong. You have to look at them as you did before they walked into the cage with me. Give me credit for what I have done. Press 4 ( again) - Okay then fine , you have been the underdog but looking out at what's next or who's next how do you see yourself ranked? Rey Bargos - I should be the underdog because if booked properly I'll keep fighting guys ranked better than me. If I had to guess I'd say Piney and I get paired up next. He'll be another brown belt that tries and fails to take me and submit me. I've proven to be hard to take down let alone submit. If they want to truly challenge me it'll be Raleigh St. Claire. We'll have to see what happens. Press 5 - You are starting to sound a little too confident. For a guy with three overall losses in mma and KT you are just now breaking even. Maybe you should focus on getting better and not what's next? Rey Bargos - Those KT fights mean nothing and hold no weight here in Sucker Punch mma. Honestly even if they did all it shows is I am extremely tough to put down. I fought guys years ahead of me. That's besides the fact. As far as me sounding over confident maybe you need to realize I have been woot for some time. I have been doubted for some time. I have been overlooked and counted out. The KT strikers couldn't knock me out and all these brown belts can't tap me out including the Champ. So if you don't understand my confidence take a look at my losses a little closer. You'll see what I know , I am not even near my prime and yet guys in there's haven't finished me or come close to it. To me it's all about the big picture and if I get Piney or Raleigh or whoever next you can bet on one thing from me … IMPROVEMENT. Rey steps away from the podium.
  7. Sucker Punch CSS 155# Finals Post Show Media After his round 1 win over Bobolo Jubbly the now 2-1 Rey Bargos made his way to the media center with Shadow Warrior sports drink in hand. A very jubilant Bargos sat down in his Ma Balls is Hot gear. He looked like he had just went for a stroll through the park not a fist fight. Media - Rey tonight you proved again that the fans and media just cannot count you out. How good did it feel to not only win but to win in that fashion? Bargos - Knockouts get everyone's attention but honestly I was just in a zone. I feel like I've grown so much lately. Tonight was good. Media - Everyone was talking about his ground game and even Donkey had money on you getting submitted. You stuffed all six of his takedown attempts. How did it feel to be able to control where this fight went. Bargos - Man, ( takes a drink) that was more nerve wracking than anything. I really want to be a great fighter and every time I make that walk I am nervous and fearful but lately I've been confident. I knew if I could stuff his takedowns that there wasn't any other way he could win. I told everyone that I am now these last two fights getting elite private training and it's showing as I am 2-0 at Project Training gym. To answer your question though I knew after that first takedown got stuffed that I had him beat but I had to maintain and be on my toes. I could just feel that I was stronger. Media - You and your manager had talked about calling someone out after the fight but then you just thanked the fans, what happened there? Bargos - I have a name in mind but I want to be patient. I decided that I am going to hold off on that name and keep focusing on getting better. Media - You have one fight left on your contract after tonight, that's public knowledge but what isn't public knowledge is your plans going forward. Is this your long term home? Bargos - ( Shakes head yes) Being here has done wonders for my career and to be honest I don't think I would have been this successful elsewhere. They put me in there with the now Champ and I proved my mettle. I couldn't be finished by him and since then I have ramped up my training and now I am on a tear!! I'm not sure who is next for me but I definitely want that contract extension. Media - Your first two fights here you came out wearing plain black shorts and a goonies tee but tonight you came out wearing a shirt and shorts from the Ma Balls is Hot signature line. Are you now getting sponsored? Bargos - ( Laughs ) It's funny because I was watching the preview show and they mentioned my Goonies tee and I looked at my coach who hates that shirt and I knew I needed to dress like a pro fighter. So while in Sydney I visited up MBIH and bought some gear then after the fight they approached my manager with a sponsorship offer. So I guess wearing their gear and getting the win guided me to it. Media - The last question to ask is what's next for you? You isn't call anyone out but how soon before we could see you back in the cage? Bargos- Hopefully not too soon. The thing that has helped me is that I've been given time between fights to learn and grow. When I started out in KT my problem was that I rushed into every fight. Now in mma I am slowing down , I have good coaches and I have a winning record. I am however excited to keep going. Tonight was a lot of fun after the fact and I feel like now people will stop doubting me. I have put a lot of time into this and now it's paying off. Before I go I want to thank Dark Knight Nutrition and MBIH Clothing for sponsoring me. I want to thank all my training partners at Project Training on Los Angeles and I want to thank my coaching staff, without them I am nothing. Thanks everyone!! With that Rey stepped down and made his way to the back.
  8. In less than 24 hours Rey Bargos steps into a cage again. Every time he does there is a sense of urgency. The 21 year old Mexican says it's his hope to establish himself as someone to watch. He allowed cameras to follow him in his preparation for mma fight number three. This is his story and maybe even HISTORY! 8/7/20 Los Angeles, California. " So my morning begins with Coach Vinny, I'm working on my sprawls and takedown defense. My management team opened up a private gym and hired a bunch of elite coaches after the Frankie Logan loss. So now I am consistently training one on one with elite coaches and they work me hard." As Rey tackles his first session of the day his manager Alex Conors is always looking on. He has spent time and money on multiple athletes he manages including Rey. " Rey is young , people look at his record and think he's washed up. The kid just turned 21 years old. He really likes sucker punch and feels he can grow there and I do too!!" After his first training session Rey drives to Glendale community college where he takes business management classes. " I want to be an entrepreneur one day. I want to provide for myself and my family back home in Mexico. I send them half of all I have. I pay for my own schooling through fighting. People laugh at my KT record but the money I made in those three fights paid for three years worth of college and took care of my parents. If I win this next fight who knows what's going to happen." 8/11/20 Rey is inside a Sydney gym with his training staff. After flying to Australia on the 8th to acclimate themselves they now feel ready to go. Rey is on the mats with training partner Carter Ortiz, Ortiz is an undefeated fighter with WCF IN hilo but he trains daily with Bargos in LA. Ortiz bin background and submission game is a big reason he is here. " Rey and I are best friends. We're on the mats all the time working to get better. I am super pumped for this trip to Sydney. Last time out he got his first win and tomorrow qe add to his legacy. Rey works hard for himself and his family , he is a good kid so why would you not root for him?" Says Ortiz as all four members of Bargos team walk with him on the beach. " The groundwork is laid, we would've liked for a few more weeks to prepare but we stepped up and took the bout. I know he wants to take me down and work submissions. I just have to believe that I can win this fight and I do. If he believes the mat is his safe zone well that's good because I have my own secret tricks and I am ready to make a statement. This isn't just Rey Bargos versus Bobolo Jubbly, this is all of Mexico City , all of Project Training and all the heart of Rey Bargos versus Bobolo. He may enjoy being a mystery but I'm not one. This fight game is my life and I depend on this to feed my family. I'm going out there fully prepared to put on a clinic. You want to scrap, you want to wrestle , let's do it."
  9. " I have nothing to lose." Rey Bargos walks into the arena for his weigh in. " One hundred and fifty five pounds for Bargos." The Athletic commissioner says as Rey steps off the scale. Bargos gets dressed and makes his way down to the media for questions. Instead of waiting for questions Rey takes the microphone and begins to speak. " This tournament is everything to me, I shouldn't be here right now. My brother lasted one year in this sport, going 2-3 and realizing he wasn't built for this sport. I am sitting at 0-3 and this fight with Conor Notorious is my shot. If I fail then I walk away for good. I've spent the last few months training to be the best version of myself. Tomorrow night you get the best version of me, win or lose." Rey stands up from the podium and walks away.
  10. SFC 7 Went down Sunday night in Los Angeles, California at The Underground. Nine fights on this card with a pretty decent rating of 82. Let's get to it! Preliminary #1 Brian Spencer and Austin Smith competed at lightweight in what I truly feel was a snooze fest. Smith was more experienced with four pro fights but he surely did not show it. Brian Spencer won all three rounds because he was most active. Spencer dominated standing up and especially in the clinch but with that dais the only reason he dominated is because Smith was standing still just letting the punches happen. Spencer wins by Unanimous Decision record now 1-0 After the fight Spencer ran his mouth about how good he was and some fans were a little annoyed with his arrogance. Preliminary #2 Jorma Katkeroinen and Llias Lliadis were up next in a battle between two undefeated bantamweights, The fight starts with Jorma defending multiple take down attempts and making llias look like a bum at standing. Once Jorma gets the clinch it is all over from there as he just absolutely pummels Lliadis with some nice dirty boxing. Jorma then landed a nice knee and followed up with two very big upper cuts ending the fight. After the fight was over Jorma thanked the fans in attendance and got a very receptive applause for his showing tonight. Jorma is now 3-0 in his career. Preliminary #3 Heavyweights hit the cage as the big boy Emmanuel Kuntz took on a guy looking to break out in Stepfaner Sarejoe, This fight was a lot like the previous fight where one man Stepfaner wanted to take it to the ground but Kuntz kept it standing and took it to him. Kuntz bodys him against the cage and drops him to the mat Kuntz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to let him up. The fight continues and Kuntz just dominates Stepfaner with the upper cuts and jabs eventually cutting him. The fans were really into this fight because in such a short time they had a ton of action. Kuntz hits a nasty two jab combo followed by an uppercut that the fans could probably feel. Stepfaner slumps to the ground and the ref waves off the fight. Emmanuel Kuntz gets a huge win and keeps his undefeated record alive. Preliminary #4 The next fight was a middleweight bout that at first I was really looking forward to, Bastein Harris and Jeff Adams but it turned into some what of a boring fight. All three rounds were pretty stale with a lot of misses and not very many hits. At the end of two rounds I had it one round a piece and I have to dis agree with the judges who gave the fight to Bastein Harris. I think Harris landed more standing in the duration of the fight but he also pulled a lyoto machida and ran a lot in this fight. In the third round Jeff Adams had two take downs and even when harris had the upper hand on the ground he did nothing with it and just caught his breathe and rode it out. The judges gave it a unanimous decision to Bastein Harris which makes him 4-0 but I really hope that Jeff Adams fights for a rematch cause he damn sure deserves it. Preliminary #5 Jamie Walker and Vincent Clayton two heavy handed boxers at light heavyweight were up next and from the beginning it looked as this fight was going to end quick. A very faced paced start with Jamie Walker being cut just seconds into the fight. Both men were swinging for the fences but narrowly landing. The clinch game was being enforced by both men in riund one but Clayton with that huge cut on Walker probably took the first round. In the second round it is more of the same back and forth but Clayton lands a nasty overhand right out of nowhere sening Jamie into the cage wobbled and succombed. The referee is not quick enough and Clayton nails him with another ball blasing jaw shattering right hand before finally the ref can end this fight. Clayton improved to 3-0 but the unneccasary shots may have hurt his reputation. Main Card fight #6 Spiral Eagle and Vincent Spriggins took on one another in a Heavyweight fight, I thought going in that this was going to be a decent fight as both guys like to stand and bang and neither guy has all that much experience. Vincent could not get the fight started his way at all he was trying to counter but didn't land anything. Spiral landed head and body combos before knocking down Vincent and mauling him into comotos. Spiral ended this fight with one of the the most spectacular highlight reels in SFC history. Main Card fight #7 Next up another light heavy brawl with two guys not willing to goto the ground, Louis Litt and Benny Silver both have good records and both hope to capitalize with a win to propel them to championship gold. In the first round Silver is a monster in the clinch just executing with precise elbows knocking Litt to the ground and bloodying him up pretty good with a nasty cut. In the second round it was more of the same from Silver but Litt continued to try and push this fight. More clicning with elbows but Litt trys to get the fight to the ground by pulling guard once he does though nothing happens. The third round is more of the same with Silver clinching and battering with elbows, Litt starts to open up even more with that nasty cut and Silver continues away as the final bell rings. This fight is going to the judges, Louis Litt took a beating but he did not get knockout out which is just amazing seeing how he took over seventy elbows to the head. The judges are unanimous and the winner is ofcourse Benny Silver After the fight Silver announced to the fans that he is the future of MMA. Main Card fight #8 Co Main Event Undefeated 5-0 Bantamweight Lil Wayne taking on 1-1 Brown belt that is a gardener, yes it's a weird fact but hey the guy likes flowers. Seems like a huge disadvantage for Roberto but he does have a ground game. The fight begins and Roberto trys to instigate the clinch but gets rejected and again he gets rejected. Wayne lands a nasty three punch combo that puts roberto against the cage, Wayne then lands a nasty straight then puts Roberto out cold the guy weebles and wobbles and crashes to the canvas. Lil Wayne improves to 6-0 and Roberto is getting care by the doctors. Wayne opens up to the fans in his post fight soeech telling them that they are his inspiration. This guy has his head on his shoulders and has a very bright future. Main Event 4-0 Luiz Silva takes on 2-0 Nikita Klitschko for the vacant SFC Lightweight Championship of the world. The first round is back and forth with Nikita getting the edge by having the more powerful shots. nikita lands a flush head kick that swerves Silva and puts him on his ass. The second round was more back and forth action that had the fans out out their seats. Klitschko was more accurate though and probably got the nod but the action was on full tilt and Silva was trying to exchange. The third round both men are going back and forth but klitschko still has the upper hand especially when this fight goes to the clinch. Klitschko escapes the clinch and nails Silva with a mouth jarring head kick, Silva smiles at him and begs him to come forward and Nikita obliges landing another devastating head kick putting Silva out on his feet Luiz Silva is a zombie and Nikita starts pummeling him until finally the referee stops the damn fight. Nikita Klitschko is the new SFC Lightweight Champion. Nikita has nothing to say he is just very happy to be the new champ! SFC closed out one hell of a card tonight and we all look forward to the next event which is SFC 8 right here at The Underground on June 29th. Until then have fun and don't try this shit at home!.
  11. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/35/35w21.jpg -Richie Donovan- Marcin Vitomino, you and I are the top two active light heavys and I think it's time we go head to head. Whether it's for the title or not is not up to me but I want the fight. You man enough to except?
  12. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w13.jpg The Return of Dynamite Donovan- Vaughn- A month ago I go my block rocked by the hype machine better known as Benny Drakes " Life Partner" Denver Washington, Now as I prepare for my next fight I get another young guy and another hyped up guy in Calvin Tate. Getting my ass handed to me by Denver Dingleberry has taught me a little respect.. I don't respect Denver Dumbass but I do know that I cannot over look a young guy like Tate. I have been in Amsterdam working hard to better myself and my brothers careers... I hope your ready people..no more hype all fight I cannot afford another loss.
  13. I'd like to see Mike get in on this cause this is a great idea. Anything to bring life to fighters and have fighter to fighter interaction. It would be great for org owners and would also help co promotions al well. Hell of an idea right here.
  14. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w12.jpg -Jordan Donovan- Jamal Vasquez, last time we met in the ring the judges gave you the win.. the next time will be in the cage and it will be me with my hand raised as you are being carted out of the arena with a broken arm. I am coming to make a impact and you just happen to have been in my way.
