I wanted to beat the shit out of the curly-haired prick Ira Wright but I've been hearing he's retired after them back to back beatings he suffered. Someone told me that Wright even flinched when they handed him a contract - poor fucker must be too traumatized. Get some treatment and come see man if you want another L to your name. "

DARE: RETRIBUTION PREVIEW

In misty Helsinki, on May the 9th, a night of young shining stars and flaming supernovas will ensue. For the length of ten bouts, in the land of polite coldness and enviable healthcare, both those things will be set aside for the Finnish crowd to beheld a night of gritty, scorching, self care-disregarding martial arts; a night of Daredevils approaches.

VLAD DARKO vs ALASTAIR DUNN

In the card's main event, two of the top 170 pounders are looking for a ticket to the very top of the division. Young phenom Vlad Darko comes off a TKO win against a tough young prospect, after having lost his title (and probably a large amount of neurons) off a brutal flying knee by the current champ Benson Whyte. For Darko, a win here would bring him one step closer to a rematch with Whyte, a chance at retribution, and a nice paycheck he can continue to spend in fixing his mandible after Whyte's knee. Across the cage from him stands Alastair Dunn, a seasoned fighter on a three fight win streak to show for his first three appereances in the promotion. He could be the next big thing in the division if he can prove himself against his biggest challenge yet, the former welterweight king of the org. Both fighters are willing to exchange leather all the way in this one, and I'm not talking about BDSM. Don't blink through this fight.

BENA BERR vs TREVOR LAWSON

The co-main event of the night features another two young hard hitting, death unfearing welterweights. #9 Bena Berr looks to shake off a TKO loss to main event draw Vlad Darko, and keep his ascension in the promotion going. He will be looking forward to a grueling slugfest against his opponent, and if he can get a dramatic knockout tonight, the rest of the division's top 10 will have a new worry to keep them up at night. His opponent, Trevor Lawson, is debuting in the DARE promotion, after a couple good wins in ABW. There's only two ways for Lawson to leave that cage: new KO in his MMA record, or new CAT scan in his medical one. With 14 KOs between the two opponents, this fight has ensured three rounds of exquisite violence (probably less than three rounds) for this explosive co-main event.

JAMIE BOUNTY vs ALEX PARKER

The champless 185 division is looking for its next king, and this fight is a chance for two ranked young talents two show which can be the baddest m'fer in Helsinki at middleweight. Despite a succesful run in the org, the title has been an elusive bounty for Jamie Bounty, but he's learned since his last crack at the gold and he has a new chance at prolonging his run for it tonight. A well rounded fighter and seasoned striker, he will be looking to keep control of the fight tonight, and go for his 7th win in the promotion. Looking to snatch that chance from him is the vicious Alex Parker. Let's put it this way: he doesn't fight a lot, but when he does, people get hurt, and he gets richer. 5 out of 5 wins by KO, Parker is a force to be reckoned, and he's looking to prove his power once again in this one. Statistically speaking, this fight should be pretty fucking brutal.

MIKE TYCOON VS BRIAN BAKER

Ranked #5 in the light heavyweight division is powerhouse Mike Tycoon. No, not THE Mike Tycoon, or in any way related to him, but he does have 16 KOs under his belt, so be excited about him fighting. He'll be looking to send another one packing and bounce back from two straight losses in the org. His opponent is an unknown rookie, with just 3 pro fights in his career, the boxing expert Brian Baker. Who is he? How did he get here? Will he make a name for himself against the animal they put him in the cage with? If he does, there might be a new terror in a not so packed division. Find out May the 9th in DARE: RETRIBUTION

UNDERCARD

SIVA TAVAU (#5) vs DANI POFFO (265 lbs)

YURI BEDLAMINOV vs MARV ELLIS (265 lbs)

TEODORS OZOLINSH vs RAGNAR DIAZ (155 lbs)

LOUIS PATERSON vs TOMAS LINDBERG (145 lbs)

POLLO TROPICAL vs FRANKIE ZIMMERMAN (205 lbs)

DARE 46: KRAZY (904418)

MAY 19TH, 2018

SPONSORED BY:

PREVIEW BY: JOHN DAUGHERTY

THE MAIN CARD FOR DARE 46 KRAZY WILL SOLIDIFY THE CONTENDERS FOR THE 135 LB DIVISION AS WE HAVE TWO OUTSTANDING BOUTS, WITH THE MOST IMPRESSIVE WINNER OF THE TWO FIGHTS GETTING THE NEXT TITLE SHOT VERSUS YURMOMMY, WHO IS FIGHTING NICK SHAMROCK IN OFC THIS WEEKEND FOR A RANKED SUPER FIGHT. WE HAVE EDGY BRAH VS. MIDICK AIKEN AND CHESTER DRAWERS VS. DESMOND FAIRBANKS.

WE ALSO HAVE A HIGHLY RANKED 155 LB MATCH UP WITH FUTURE TITLE IMPLICATIONS AS NEWCOMER BENS BULVER LOOKS TO TAKE ON EXTREME VETERAN FERNANDO OLIVEIRA.

AND THE CHERRY ON TOP, A 155 LB TITLE FIGHT BETWEEN CHAMPION JUNIOR VILSON AND JAN PAUL VALENS.

"The Indian" Edgy Brah (314184) 9-3 VS. Midick Aiken (304148) 10-2

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15067144276129.gif http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/12/12b4.jpg

AIKEN, A FORMER KOFC 145 LB CHAMPION, WHO HAS 80% KNOCKOUT PERCENTAGE FROM HIS 12 FIGHTS IS AN OUTSTANDING TALENT LOOKING TO MOVE HIS WAY BACK INTO ANOTHER TITLE PICTURE IN DARE. WITH WINS OVER DARE TALENT DESALVO AND DUTROUX, HE IS LOOKING FOR A KO OF THE NEWCOMER.

BRAH, A YOUNGER PROSPECT TAKING THE LEAP TO A BIGGER ORGANIZATION AND IS NOT WASTING ANY TIME MIXING IT UP WITH THE BEST THE ORG HAS TO OFFER. ANOTHER FORMER CHAMPION IN HILO'S THE BEATDOWN , WHERE HE IS MOST NOTED FOR HIS HIGHLY ENTERTAINING SCRAPS WITH KLAY DEE (319235). BRAH WILL LOOK TO MIX UP MORE GROUND GAME AND STRATEGY VERSUS THE MORE AGGRESSIVE STAND UP FIGHTER IN AIKEN. THIS IS ONE HELLUVA MATCH FOR THE DIVISION GOING FORWARD.

Desmond Fairbanks (301619) 16-9 VS. Chester "Mad" Drawers (298930) 8-3

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w26.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26w1.jpg

FAIRBANKS, A TESTY VETERAN WHO IS 3-3 IN DARE, BUT IS ALSO A FORMER 135 LB CHAMPION IN COMBATE BRAZIL. HE ONCE HAD A 10 FIGHT WIN STREAK EARLY IN HIS CAREER AS HE LOOKS TO PUT 3 CONSECUTIVE VICTORIES TOGETHER TO PUT HIS NAME IN CONTENTION FOR THE TITLE. HE FIGHTS IN DIFFERENT STRATEGIES MOST DEPENDING UPON HIS OPPONENT. HE CAN WIN VIA STAND UP, WON A FEW ON THE GROUND, AND EDGED OUT DECISIONS.INE OF HIS MOST NOTABLE VICTORY IS WHEN HE STOPPED FORMER DARE 135 LB CHAMPION PETER MANUEL WITH STRIKE AT DARE X-MAS.

DRAWERS, HAS WON 3 STRAIGHT VICTORIES IN DARE, 2 DECISIONS AND 1 SUBMISSION. HE HAS NEVER HAD A TITLE FIGHT IN HIS CAREER AND HE WILL TRY TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN WHEN HE FACES FAIRBANKS. DRAWERS HAS MOST OF HIS VICTORIES COME BY GROUND SUBMISSIONS BUT BY CONTRAST HE RARELY GETS KNOCKED OUT, SO ITS SAFE TO SAY HE MUST HAVE A HELLUVA CHIN AND STRIKING DEFENSE TO COMPLEMENT HIS GRINDING GROUND ABILITIES. AGAIN, THE MOST IMPRESSIVE WINNER OF THE 135 LBS PAIRS ON THIS CARD, GETS THE OPPORTUNITY TO FACE YURMOMMY COME JUNE AND THE OTHER WILL HAVE TO PROVE HIMSELF THROUGH ANOTHER FIGHT.

"Little Eagle" Benz Bulver (314178) 11-1 VS. Fernando Oliveira (294360) 15-5

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15075644422801.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21b20.jpg

BULVER, A NEWCOMER BUT ALSO TAKING A LEAP INTO HEAVIER COMPETITION FROM CHAMPION AT THE BEATDOWN IN HILO, TO THE COASTAL KINGS OF AMSTERDAM. 11-1 RECORD, ALL WINS ARE VIA KNOCKOUT OR TKO WITH HIS ONE LOSS BY SUBMISSION AND THAT MUST HAVE BEEN A FLUKE BECAUSE HE IS A PURPLE BELT IN BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU. BULVER DEFENDED HIS TITLE 4 TIMES BEFORE HE TOOK THE CHALLENGES THAT DARE OFFERS. BULVER IS LOOKING TO MAKE A NAME FOR HIMSELF IN DARE BY TAKING ON THE VERY GAME FERNANDO OLIVEIRA.

OLIVEIRA, HAS BEEN GOING THE DISTANCE LATELY, AS HIS LAST 8 FIGHTS HAVE ALL ENDED IN DECISIONS WITH SOME SPLIT. HE DOES HAVE KO ABILITY, BUT HE HAS HAD A HARD TIME PULLING THAT TRIGGER IN HIS FIGHTS. I DON'T KNOW IF ITS HIS STRATEGY TO WEAR DOWN HIS OPPONENTS OR HE JUST DOESN'T TAKE THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PRESSURING HIS OPPONENTS. OLIVEIRA HAS LOST HIS 2 ONLY SHOTS AT THE TITLE BEFORE, ONCE IN DARE TO IBU, AND ONCE IN BUSHIDO TO VILSON....AGAIN BOTH WENT TO A DECISION. SO IF HE CAN SOMEHOW FIND THE RIGHT GAME PLAN AND USE MORE AGGRESSION HE MAY FIND THE EXCLAMATION POINT NEEDED TO MAKE A STATEMENT.

Junior "Tarantula" Vilson (290550) 17-3 VS. "JPV" Jan Paul Valens (295077) 12-6

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14585508057943.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41w25.jpg

JPV, A FORMER 170 LB CHAMPION IN DARE ALL THE WAY BACK TO DARE 7 RETURNS AS HE IS RIDING A 2 FIGHT WIN STREAK AT 155 LBS TO TAKE ON A MONSTROUS OPPONENT IN VILSON. TRAINING OUT OF VALHALLA MMA, JPV IS A GRINDER WHO LIKES TO TAKE FIGHTS INTO DEEP WATER AS MOST OF HIS FIGHTS GO THE DISTANCE. HE HAS A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING IN HIS ARSENAL, NOT REALLY ELITE AT ANYTHING BUT A JACK OF ALL TRADES AND HOPES TO SURPRISE VILSON WITH LATE FIGHT TACTICS. WHO KNOWS WHAT HIS GAME PLAN WILL BE, BUT YOU BETTER BELIEVE THAT HE HAS BEEN DOUBLING HIS DEFENSE IN PREPARATION FOR THIS FIGHT.

VILSON, AS A CHAMPION AT 155 LBS IN DARE FOR THE SECOND TIME. HE HAS HELD THE TITLE IN BUSHIDO AS WELL. FIGHTING TOP TALENT LIKE KOH IBU, GIL JACOBSON, MARAT MAGOMEDOV HE IS AS EXPERIENCE AS A FIGHTER COULD BE AT 27. HE TOO IS LOOKING TO SEND A MESSAGE AS HE HAS HAD DECISIONS AS OF LATE, HE HAS ELITE LEVEL ABILITIES IN BOXING AND WRESTLING. WITH MAGOMEDOV WAITING IN THE AUDIENCE FOR THE WINNER OF THIS FIGHT ALL THE PRESSURE IS ON VILSON TO TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS AND SHOW THE CROWD WHY HE IS THE MAIN EVENT.

THE REST OF THE CARD

Humbert Humbert v John Anderson

Art Brock v Dr A Hedgeh

Rosco Ladd v Sam McCullen

Paul Crawley v Latka Gravas

Marcus Santana v Usko Matonen

Brock Steve v Tristan Lancier

Eyeam Yurmommy (292026) falls to Nick Shamrock at OFC

The DAREDEVILS 135 lb Champion traveled to Montreal to take on the OFC 145 lb Champion as the main event to OFC: Blood Night LI. It went the distance as Yurmommy had his best opportunity come in the 3rd round as he knocked down Shamrock but was unable to get the submission late as he lost by unanimous decision. The fight did get the honors of Fight of the Night and the OFC/DARE co-promoting fighters continues. Yurmommy has been silent since the defeat, but is expected to return to the DAREDEVILS organization to defend his title. DAREDEVILS is truly appreciative and excited to have Yurmommy as their champion and hope to see him on June 23rd!

4 CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS

SATURDAY 26, 2018

SPARTA'S PALACE, LAS VEGAS

VEGAS WILL BE EXCITING COME SATURDAY NIGHT AS WE EXPECT THE PALACE TO BE SOLD OUT AS DAREDEVILS MMA IS SHOWCASING TOP TALENT IN EXCITING FIGHTS THAT FANS ARE WAITING TO SEE. BESIDES THE TITLE FIGHTS, THERE ARE A PAIR OF UP AND COMING HEAVYWEIGHT PROSPECTS LOOKING TO EXTEND THEIR STREAKS IN HOPES OF A TITLE FIGHT THIS SUMMER, BUT DON'T GET TOO CARRIED AWAY AS THERE IS A WAITING LIST FOR THE HEAVYWEIGHT STRAP!

LETS LOOK AT THE 4 TITLE FIGHTS!

Bjorn "Ironside" Ragnarsson (295801) 15-2-1 VS. Aleksey "jaw-breaking" Borodin (300194) 12-4

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14631796236511.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14482222468252.jpg

SUPER HEAVYWEIGHTS

Bjorn, is ranked in the top 10 in the world at 265+. Training out of Blake Phoenix Champion Factory and managed by Blake himself he is on a 4 fight win streak since defeating former champion Seo Dae Young by TKO. He defended it against long time rival David Cerrone by KO in April. Bjorn relies on his pure strength and punching power as he transitioned from a fearsome Viking Chieftan to a two time champion.

Borodin, a heavier but smaller fighter also relies upon extreme punching ability as he 11 wins by KO/TKO. Although coming off a loss to Gordon Mundi, who will be leaving the organization after his next fight, Borodin has rebounded well in the past to take out frustration upon his opponents. Training at Cats Killers Academy MMA and managed by Aleksey Markov, Borodin is a true warrior who lives and dies by the punch.

"Attention Whore" Street Fighter (292591) 14-4-1 VS. Hillary Trump (297454) 13-6

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14688497191991.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14844302577091.jpg

FEATHERWEIGHTS

Street Fighter, riding a 3 fight win streak and holds the DARE 145 lb title for a second reign was sitting around practicing his ninja skills and getting bored waiting on the rest of the division to produce a challenger he then instead called out former DARE bantamweight champion Hillary Trump to move up and face him. Trump obliged as he too was wondering what to do after he lost his title to Yurmommy by submission.

Trump, although 13-6 record looks deceiving as most of his losses were early on in his career and he was on a 7 fight win streak before he got stopped by Yurmommy in the rubber match. Trump has elite striking and doesn't mind going to the ground as well. Trump is the shorter fighter of the two, which can mean he can stop the take downs easier and his power comes from underneath if Street Fighter doesn't use his reach to keep distance, Trump will look to power fight him close.

Iosefa "The Road Roller" Umaga (290695) 13-3-1 VS. Larry "The Butcher" Shreve Jr (290008) 19-3

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14631745726181.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14549547908012.png

HEAVYWEIGHTS C0-MAIN EVENT

Umaga looks to defend his belt for the 1st time since stopping former Champion Hulk Butane back in April. Butane has since left the organization and now former DARE Champion Shreve Jr. has a chance to win back gold.

Umaga has elite skill levels in many areas, but he also uses strategy to prove he is no fluke. Umaga has 10 wins coming by way of KO/TKO and has Championship level experience at Dissolution Fighting Championship and Bushido in his career.

Shreve Jr, also a highly skilled striker who also is an undefeated Kick boxer as well, has finish 16 of his 19 wins by KO/TKO. Shreve can use kicks effectively and has been very successful as he has held the belt for 4 different organizations! Shreve lost to Butane and rebounded with a tough decision win vs. Mueller. Now only one man stands in his way for gold, and with this being his last fight of his current contract this could mean the end of Shreve Jr. in DARE if he isn't successful.

"Master of Blue Steel" Harold Nicolas (296247) 16-6 VS. Krystian "Polish Hooligan" Soszynski (290338) 16-6

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14349797733652.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14553313898707.png

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHTS MAIN EVENT

Champion Nicolas looks to rebound from a non title super fight loss to AC Slater (237345) to defend the title for the 6th time in DARE. Although disappointed with his last fight, Nicolas has been the most dominant fighter in DARE history and looks to continue the model. 14 of his 16 wins have come by KO/TKO while only two have come by decisions. Nicolas is a very versatile and dangerous striker who has boxing and muay thai skills that leaves many of his opponents wondering what he will throw at them.

Soszynski was on the road to face Nicolas before but his chance was derailed when he lost a majority decision to Xafan "Demon Hunter" Kong (297561). He continued to train hard, and defeated his next 4 opponents in Stein, Tycoon, Magufuli IV, and Zimmerman that earned him the chance to take on Nicolas who is coming off a loss. The major advantage for Soszynski is that he has a higher level ground game than his opponent, but Nicolas has only one loss by submission is his career. Who will be the one to rule the division?

BEST OF THE REST

Jason Steele (299225) 13-4 VS. Adam Baumann (305008) 10-3

HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE CONTENDER ELIMINATION FIGHT

The winner of this fight moves one step closer to the title picture, although there is a waiting list as Brent "Beastmode" Boston (292393) 19-5 awaits the Champion on June 16th. Look for this winner to fight another contender in late June.

Gattsu "Iron Fist" Emelianenko (297602) 9-4 VS. Kvame "Brahma" Zulu (311722) 8-2

HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE CONTENDER ELIMINATION FIGHT

Another heavyweight fight that could produce the next DARE Challenger. Zulu, the younger of the two has produced 4 straight wins since joining dare while Gattsu has 2 straight wins. The winner could face the winner of Steele vs. Baumann for a chance at gold in July.

DARE 47 POST FIGHT

Well Dare 47 was the 2nd highest rated card yet with 374.51 rating in the Daredevils MMA organization, and titles were defended and lost, divisions have lost some exciting Champions as well. So lets get to it.

MAIN EVENT

2O5 LB CHAMPIONSHIP

"Master of Blue Steel" Harold Nicolas (296247) LOST TO Krystian "Polish Hooligan" Soszynski (290338)

Daredevils MMA HOF and Reigning Light Heavyweight Champion Harold Nicolas finally succumbed to Kryzstian Soszynski's winning streak as he stopped Nicolas with strikes in the 1st round of their title fight. A quick and violent fight as Nicolas had his early moments landing a chopping kick that put the challenger on the floor, but it all changed when the challenger grabbed him in a thai clinch from hell and that was the beginning of a ruthless exchange where Soszynski looked like he wanted to kill Nicolas. It was all over at 2:09 of the 1st round and we have a new light heavyweight champion.

CO-MAIN EVENT

265 LB CHAMPIONSHIP

Iosefa "The Road Roller" Umaga (290695) DEF Larry "The Butcher" Shreve Jr (290008)

Daredevils heavyweight champion looked to defend for the 1st time after he defeated the recently departed Hulk Butane against the Butcher the former champion. This fight also saw Shreve Jr have an early success with punches and kicks that is until the fight was in close quarters of the clinch. Umaga must have been ready as he completely dominated the fight from the clinch and Shreve Jr was denied the strap at 3:39 of the 2nd round. Umaga retains the belt.

145 LB CHAMPIONSHIP

"Attention Whore" Street Fighter (292591) DEF Hillary Trump (297454)

The Street Fighter......The Street Fighter......, what a whore for attention as he went the distance with former Daredevils 135 LB Champion Trump in a very entertaining fight. Each fighter had their moments, each fighter fought their hearts out, but only one seemed to stand out through it all as the Fighter was just a bit more controlling and landed more shots in the end. Trump tried early to use his ground game and submit fighter, but fighter fought it off and tried his own game. The rest of the fight was a series of kicks, strikes, blocks, and take down attempts. This fight really had it all. Props to Hillary Trump, who just recently lost his title and rubber match to the outspoken eyeam yurmommy to step up and take a shot at this one.

265+ LB CHAMPIONSHIP

Bjorn "Ironside" Ragnarsson (295801) DEF Aleksey "jaw-breaking" Borodin (300194)

This is a bittersweet fight, as it was the last fight for Bjorn win or lose as he has expressed interests to move on to another promotion as this was the last fight on his current contract. A stalwart since moving up from the heavyweight division Ragnarsson displayed again why he truly is a champion. Borodin seemed to have the size advantage and instead of taking Bjorn down he got trapped in a ruthless thai fight that saw him land some shots, but ultimately it was Bjorn that demonstrated the superior game there as the fight was stopped at 2:56 of the 1st round. So with the defense of the title defense, Ragnarsson leaves the organization with a 6-2-1 record and 2 title defenses. Borodin, has to go back to train as the opportunity is open again for a possible run at the strap with Bjorn's absence.

The best of the rest

Jason Steele (299225) DEF Adam Baumann (305008)

HEAVYWEIGHT ELIMINATOR FIGHT

Where to begin? Two young, hungry, and successful fighters in the division looking for the next step in the title ladder. Steele has been undefeated since joining DARE, as he has taken out former champion veterans, young prospects, and middle of the pack dreamers. Baumann, and long time veteran of the early days of DARE who has a 6-2 record and defeated a long time former champion veteran himself. This was a showdown to determine who will take that next step.

Baumann went the distance in a hard fought contest, but ultimately Steele was too much in every aspect, you could say Baumann's game on the ground would have been the opportunity, but Steele was able to escape. A great fight, but Baumann will have to shore up his defenses before his next fight. Steele wins by decision and moves on to a title contender fight.

Kvame "Brahma" Zulu (311722) DEF Gattsu "Iron Fist" Emelianenko (297602)

HEAVYWEIGHT ELIMINATOR FIGHT

A highly anticipated match up to determine a title contender in the division happened with a BANG! Zulu, a newcomer to mma and has only been in the game a short time definitely has the potential that so many seek as he took out Emelianenko with knockout at 2:12 of the 2nd round. The fight started off with the 1st of 2 knockdowns by Zulu and then an aggressive clinch fight before he again sent Emelianenko spiraling off his feet. Gattsu, was really out of it early on after the 1st knockdown I don't think he ever recovered and was fighting off pure instinct as his strikes were not flush and he was easily countered. Zulu's raw power and aggressive strategy has seen him rail off 5 consecutive victories inside the cage for DARE.

Steele vs. Zulu

for #1 Heavyweight Contender Spot

DARE 53

JUNE 30, 2018

Interesting note: Steele has lost to Emelianenko twice in Duel Fight League, who was just beaten by Zulu by flawless victory

YOUR NOT GONNA WANT TO MISS THIS!

DARE says goodbye to Ragnarsson, as his 265+ LB Title will be vacated and a new champion will be sought.

Umaga will now face Boston on 6/16/18 for a 2nd defense of the title, while Boston is 3-0 in DARE.

Street Fighter is looking to step down to 135 lbs and either take on Champion Yurmommy, or take on the winner of Fairbanks vs. Aiken for the 135 LB Title.

Soszynski will look to defend in late June, possible winner of Magufuli IV vs. Alzate could be it.

Harold Nicolas is set to travel to Paris soon for a fashion convention, it is said that he will be going to a gym in Amsterdam while in Europe and work on his Muay Thai skills. I'm sure he will be ready for redemption come July.

There will also be some good byes as well as this will be the last dance for a few. Lets grab a beer and check out the main fights!

Gordon "The World" Mundi (268714) vs. "The Hamburger Helper" Jucal Jabneel (238487)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w13.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14021756461151.jpg

Now this is a huge affair of world hamburgers.... LOL. Ok, Ok. This was supposed to be a title fight for Mundi vs. Ragnarsson, but with the ID change from 290K to Open ID for the division put that on hold. Mundi displaying great KO ability has surprised even himself with his late surge. Entered into last fall's Openweight Grand Prix and won the first 2 rounds stopping Stahl and Meida before losing in the finals to Maxim Bok. He signed back on and has rattled off 4 straight victories, but most impressive is that 3 of those were against former division champions in Borodin, Dae Young, and Shankariya. While he definitely could be the future of the divison, he has since started losing weight to go down to heavyweight, where in essence he expressed interests at leaving the promotion after this fight. Dare owner John Daugherty and executive manager Jamie McKenna were saddened at the news but understands that this again will be a bittersweet fight that sends off a great fighter.

Jucal Jabneel, now lets now forget that even though Mundi has been "The World" around the division lately, recently signed Jabneel a 20 fight veteran from the great Synchronicity organization brings experience to the org. Jabneel has won his first 2 fights in DARE, and if he wins this fight, expect " The Hamburger Helper" to be looking for a championship meal come next. Jabneel is HUGE, compared to the dropping in weight Mundi and I would expect that to play a big part of the outcome of this fight. Mundi definitely will be quicker on his feet without the weight, but will he be able to get off the ground if Jabneel lands on top?

Gabriel Arones (299196) VS. Olajide Ban Gbus (293032)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/8/8b2.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b13.jpg

A tale of two heavyweights, a tale of two styles, and only one will win to keep the dream alive. Yes, I'm a poet. This is another heavyweight fight that will see, who will win their 3rd straight victory in the organization and get one step closer to identifying themselves as a true contender. Ban Gbus is a DARE veteran and has won 4 of his past 5 fights losing only to Lailiberte in a slugfest where he got caught. While Arones is a submission guru that likes to smother and strangle like a boa constrictor as he has 11 submission victories to his name. Arones is likely going to enter the Tycoon World Grappling Championship at heavyweight come this fall, but this is an mma fight. Ban Gbus will look to strike with Arones and avoid takedowns and clinches as this is surely what Arones will use in his arsenal of takedowns and trips to get the fight on the ground. Its pretty simple here, but interesting is Ban Gbus has no submission losses as of yet.

Tony Bunker (292517) vs. Vika Partio (297441)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w8.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14467542781348.jpg

This fight is more dangerous for Bunker than Vika, but with Vika on a tear and rising fast it made sense to match up a great top talent like Bunker with the youngster. Bunker has been up and down as he has fought the best in the division but come up short. He has fought some wars and is a HOF with the Bushido Promotion. Just look at the talent Bunker has fought....Vilson, Fighter, McGinnis, Jacobson, Judah, Snoats, Penn, McLaughlin, Trump, Dickinson. A Hell's row if you ask me. So Bunker has the championship level experience and ability, maybe with a win here over a rising newcomer Bunker will again get into the title picture for the division.

Vika is 4-0 since joining the promotion back in December, and has really taken it slow but is showing great promise. His most recent win versus Louis Paterson put the division on notice that he can hang with some names. Vika is a grinder who has more decisions than KO's, as Bunker has great experience knocking out competition but has also 8 decision losses to his name for those close fights. Vika needs to make a statement here, as Bunker also needs to deter this fight from going the distance.

Joseph "Joey-J" Jostrzebski (292065) vs. Marious "Hurricane" La De Hoya (298723)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14602447964753.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14211551462618.png

Two former champions, two division mainstays for several events, looking to solidify themselves and move up the ranks. Each are capable and qualified to do it, it will appear that it will all come down to game plan execution for this fight. Joey-J, had a setback a couple fights ago where he got caught by DeSalvo in an americana that ruined his streak and De Hoya split a couple of nice victories with a sour loss due to tko against Marc Dutroux. This fight will put either in a 2 fight streak that will keep them fighting other winners in a race to the top.

Joey-J has KO ability, but its his weaknesses that are his downfall. Going the distance and going to the ground are definitely not in favor with him, and it would seem that he would like to make a statement in this fight to show that he can overcome those flaws. De Hoya lives and dies by his boxing. A KO artist, needs KO's. He will take it to Joey-J and pressure him to fight his fight. Slightly smaller, he will try to work inside of his opponent to control his reach and try to combo Joey-J with some nasty uppercuts. I don't think De Hoya wants to go the distance, he has this aggressive attack plan to try to finish all of his opponents on their feet.

The best of the Rest

Thomas "The Warrior" Power (303956) vs. Khabib Babakov (305604)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14847831534251.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b16.jpg

Power is looking for his 1st win in DARE, a recent champion for the Gladiators organization has had a tough time losing one and having a draw for his first 2 outings looks to rebound and show off his true potential with Babakov. Khabib signed over from Angry Birds promotion after losing 3 of his last 4 fights, but was successful in his 1st fight in DARE winning a decision versus veteran Cody Chalke. Power definitely has an edge over Babakov in primaries and is the older fighter, but it will come down to execution of those abilities as Babakov has 6 KO's of his 9 wins is evident that he can put anyone on their ass in a hurry. Expect this fight to not go the distance.

DARE 48: MUNDI VS. JABNEEL (905006)

POST FIGHT REVIEW

"The Hamburger Helper" Jucal Jabneel (238487) DEF Gordon "The World" Mundi (268714) by DEC

In a knockdown, slugfest inducing flying hamburger fists, Jabneel solidified his spot to fight for the vacant DARE 265+ Title come 4th of July. Mundi suffered only his 2nd loss in DARE as he says farewell to the organization in this bittersweet farewell. Mundi looked a little small since he had been cutting weight hard in preparation for his future as a smaller heavyweight and the power generated by Jabneel was overwhelming.

Next up is a Title Fight for Jabneel on 4th of July vs. Expendable Crewman V (290211).

Gabriel Arones (299196) DEF Olajide Ban Gbus (293032) by DEC

Arones wasted no time taking Ban Gbus down to the ground in this technical ground fight where Arones used his superior grappling to dominate most of the fight. Ban Gbus began to show some life in the 3rd round by landing more shots and taking advantage of a slower Arones, but was unable to get the finish he needed. Arones couldn't get the submission, but controlling the fight and landing the ground and pound helped him to a decision win. For Ban Gbus, he needs to go back to training his escapes a little more, but has plenty of potential to turn around and make another run. Arones takes his 3rd straight victory in the DARE organization and also faces the biggest fight of his career next in Larry Shreve Jr.

Vika Partio (297441) DEF Tony Bunker (292517) by DEC

The rising prospect Partio outstruck the game veteran Bunker in all aspects and won all rounds on all scorecards. It won fight of the night as it was back and forth, with Partio making a statement as his technical striking was better than the opposition. Bunker did have a moment where he decided he should take the fight in a different direction and put him on his back, but the well versed wrestling of Partio allowed him to escape without taking any significant strikes from the bottom and return to his feet. This fight moves Partio basically one more win away from a shot at the title, while Bunker who is smaller decided to move down to 135 lbs and take on similar opponents and hope to change his luck.

Marious "Hurricane" La De Hoya (298723) DEF Joseph "Joey-J" Jostrzebski (292065) by KO

Hurricane returns with a whirlwind head kick KO over Joey-J early in round 3. Although the honor of KOTN did not go his way, he was rewarded with a nice contract extension. Joey-J missed more than he landed and his punches just didn't have the same impact as the Hurricane's. De Hoya effectively set up his big strikes with crunching leg kicks that led to the weary Joey-J having his hands hanging too low where he got hurricane kick that sent him flying. Impressive Victory as Hurricane gets a huge fight next with former DARE 135 LBS Champion Hillary Trump, if he can win that it will be a jump up in rankings and his 3rd straight victory that will surely set him up for a possible title fight in the future. As for Joey-J, he continues to alternate spectacular finishes with getting finished, look for him to be very determined to get that win in his next fight.

The Best of the Rest

Joe Jordan (196358) DEF Maximillian Xezeron (237008) by KO

The veteran Jordan returned from a setback in his last fight to win KOTN honors with a head kick knockout of Xezeron early in the 2nd round. Jordan with his 11th total KOTN award mixed up good hard body kicks and punches from the stand up and the clinch to soften up his opponent. Xezeron cut and bleeding badly never gave up and continued to press the action landing a great combo before being introduced to the axe kick sent by yours truly. Face down and out, Jordan is 4-2 in DARE and shows no signs of retiring soon.

Joe Jordan (196358) will fight Aki Hiko (299236) on 4th of July.

155 lbs 3 Steve Sanchez Juu Dyon Submission (Triangle Choke) 1 02:56

DARE 49: WESSON VS. BOUNTY (905597)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1527259897images.jpg

209 Arena (21,209), Amsterdam

Preview by: John Daugherty

The 1st time ever for the DARE ORG to fight in the 209 Arena as this monumental event will be headlined by the crowning of the new middleweight champion.

Lets take a quick look at the main card

Main Event

Middleweight Championship

Dean "The Bounty Hunter" Wesson (293172) 16-9 vs. Jamie Bounty (296459) 15-5

Both fighters are stepping up with win streaks at their backs to take the vacant title since hall of famer Razmig Grigorian left the organization to fight in GAMMA. Both guys have great cardio and can take the fight in deep water, as they will both need it as this is a 5 rounder. The only thing I can say is that this is the fight to make and the organization is excited about the future of the division moving forward.

Co-Main Event

Light Heavyweight

Kassim "The Albino Warrior" Magufuli I V (300198) 10-5 vs. Niko Alzate (298548) 11-3

A pair of hard punching, switch kicking, and dirty fighters will clash as a very important co headliner for the event. Alzate is on a 3 fight win streak and Magufuli has rebounded from a tough loss to now champion Sosynzski. There should be a KO in this fight as both love to throw down. You can dissect each's record and stats, but the fact is whoever can execute their plan the best will be the victor. Title contender implications will be for the winner.

Heavyweights

Siva Tavau (299393) 15-5 vs. Edmond Honda (309430)10-5

A pair of ruthless motherfuckers here, albeit that they get the fight where they want it as they are more of a one trick pony so to speak. Honda has some boxing and thai skills that he has used to dispose of more than one opponent, but he also has an underrated ground game in which he used in his last fight choking out his opponent. Tavau, has background in maori wrestling, something he picked up on in New Zealand and thus has trained in a combat jiu-jitsu environment. Tavau can do either the ground and pound or take it to submission victory. This fight is a toss up.

Heavyweights

Samuel Douglas (297067) 8-3 vs. Guy Laliberte (299467) 9-5

A couple of heavyweights like this should definitely make for a great fight. Douglas came into the org hot and was once a top contender, but since his loss in a title fight to Shreve Jr he has cooled off, losing 3 of his past 4 fights. This fight will more than likely determine his future going forward. Laliberte has only 1 loss in Dare to top contender Jason Steele. He has shown the ability to stand and trade, but sometimes he can be a little sloppy. His lone dare loss to Steele was disappointing as he was unable to land strikes with effectiveness. Both fighters bring high skills into the contest and both are capable of a quick knockout.

The Best of the Rest

170 lbs

Alastair Dunn (291190) 13-8 vs. Trevor "Mad Dog" Lawson (307691) 11-10

205 lbs

Gobal Batra (296607) 12-7-1 vs. Muhammad Gartzen (296505) 7-1

205 lbs

Xafan "Demon Hunter" Kong (297561) 10-3 vs. Franky "Arch " Page (296547) 9-7

170 lbs

Kim "Ray-Ray" Babbitt (299701) 7-0 vs. Simon Budimon (299012) 8-2

145 lbs

Brando "The Tragedy" Reigns (294460) 7-3 vs. Walter "Heisenberg" White (295041) 3-0

265 lbs

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan (301112) 8-5 vs. Konstantin Sokolov (300739) 5-7

Welcome to Wild Bob's Bar and Grill, where you can eat a greasy ass hamburger, gnaw on some home cooked ribs, and get your taste buds watered with some good ole Sam Adam's Lager. Daredevils MMA brings you Submission Wrestling this evening where you get to see the 2nd round of the 300K ID Open 8 man tournament and a collection of veterans and newcomers looking to show their skills in grappling. Now of course all matches are 1x15 min rounds and if it goes to a decision it will be based off of points earned by the fighters during the match. There are no strikes allowed yet, but you can win with a submission as fast as you can pull it off. So lets look at the tournament matches first and then we will look at a couple of other notable attractions!

Tournament Semi-Final

"Touch Of Death" Dumba Diame Jr (316441) vs. Derek "The Reaper" Rogan (325927)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14453701498003.gif http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14261047341529.png

Diame Jr started off the tournament with a very impressive victory by guillotine submission against Aldo Crespo only 44 seconds into the match. Diame Jr tried in vain to get the takedown being denied only to catch Crespo in a counter takedown with a guillotine. Diame Jr has 8 total victories coming by way of submission , seven of those in mma fights. He is an extremely talented wrestler with a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and definitely has a lot of confidence coming into this match.

Derek Rogan, or the Reaper secured his entry into the semi finals with a armbar submission win over Nicky Ryan. The match went almost 8 minutes, but Rogan being the biggest body in the tournament at almost 280 lbs used a takedown to control his smaller opponent on the ground as he smothered and frustrated Ryan until he couldn't defend anymore. Rogan is a little less experienced with only 3 total submission wins and doesn't have the highest level of wrestling credentials. He is a high level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with a brown belt, but the biggest advantage is using his size to control and wear down his opponent.

Tournament Semi Final

David Morrison Jr. (300012) vs. Roger De Santos (320201)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14715764437965.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39b31.jpg

David Morrison Jr advanced with decision victory over Sheikh Amun Ghosh in the opening round winning by points 35 to 14. Morrision Jr is insanely flexible and very agile which makes his ground game very dangerous. He can move in unbelievable ways to get positions. He rides the waves as he says, some say be water, he says be the rider of water. Morrison Jr. has been training exclusively for the grappling lately and will look to throw a few more different tricks at his opponent. To his credit, Morrison Jr is 5-3 in Tycoon Grappling, but 6-0 in mma with 3 by submission.

De Santos advanced with a razor thin decision victory over Rubens Charles in the opening round with a score of 13 to 12. Charles was a clear favorite there and it was a great battle between them. De Santos has a little size and is lanky and can use those limbs as weapons on the ground. He has a black belt and trains at Lovelair MMA in New York. An interesting note is that of all his grappling matches he has not been submitted yet, which means he values defense greatly and looks to use his defense as a means to counter offensively.

Heavyweights Open

"Ice Cold" Pablo Dominguez (275403) vs. Mamed "Cannibal" Khalidov (273286)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14358127959615.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14369649693174.jpg

Dominguez dominated Poto Tupu in the last submission event as he won by decision 11 to 2. Dominguez is an elite level wrestler with a black belt in bjj. Dominguez is also a Tycoon World Grappling Champion at heavyweight in Div II and riding a 4 match win streak. With his wrestling pedigree being championship level he can manipulate his opponents and deny them opportunities. He has yet to win a grappling match by submission yet, so lets see if he can 1. continue the streak and 2. get his first submission victory.

Khalidov was mostly an mma fighter that has had some success in tycoon world grappling, but couldn't get past the 2nd round of the finals in fall of 2017 losing to eventual champion Damian Brooks. Khalidov has the potential to defeat Dominguez if he can use his jiu jitsu like a heavyweight should, brutally putting the pressure on his opponent.

145 LBS

Matvey "The Gymnast" Pavlov (315727) vs. Guilherme Mendes (313733)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15188765842348.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15235436356190.jpg

Pavlov comes from Russia sporting the native gi of his national sport Sambo. Pavlov has great background in wrestling and bjj, but his heart is Sambo. Raised by a strict gymnastic family he learned discipline and the ability to work his body in ways some say "unnatural". He is also of championship pedigree winning the Marty Robbins Fight Ranch Featherweight Tournament and an Extreme Fighting Association Bantamweight Title. Bribed to be in the dare submission series to put his grappling only on display, he defeated Magomed "The Tiger" Khaibulaev (331719) in a Dare mma event by rear naked choke. Out of Pavlov's 12 mma fights he has 11 submissions, with his only loss against current EFA champion "Devilman" Takeru Kubota (321120).

Mendes brings an extreme amount of grappling experience into the match as a former runner up in Div IV of the Tycoon World Grappling Championships back in May of 2017 losing to Walter "Elias" Disney (310965). He has a record of 8-3 and is a black belt in bjj. He most recently competed in Empire Grappling where he won by decision over Adam Khabilov (327724). It's hard to say what Mendes will do, as he looks to get more experience on the mat in Dare before he looks at the world championships again this fall.

Mark "Money" Tyme (319324) vs. Guillaume Dupre (333929)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w3.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w12.jpg

The Main Event features Money Tyme vs. Guillaume Dupre.

Tyme has won 8 out of 10 mma fights by submission, and has a silver medal from the division 4 Tycoon World Grappling Championships where his record is 4-1. Great experience that includes a former featherweight title with The Beatdown in Hilo. Tyme looks to add to his list of victims tonight and to work on some interesting new techniques he picked up at Touch of Death Combat Academy. Props to Dupre for steppin up to take on money.

Guillaume Dupre last competed in early May defeating Houston Russell (332627) by armbar. He is a 25 year old, but a newcomer in the combat sports world. Born in France but now resides and trains in Japan at 空手Karate Choppushoppu. He is a competent wrestler that trains in Japanese Jiu Jitsu, which is an older style that could show its effect. As a purple belt, he has jumped in the shark tank to take on tyme, but he may be tired as he missed his early flight to New York and basically will be getting off the plane and on the mat for his match.

Other Fights on the Mat

Matt Chiasson (-111) v Charley Hanagan (-135)

Kim Il Sung (-111) v Xander Machado (-135)

Claudio Gadelha (-150) v Ryan Tubridy (+100)

Richard Kuklinski (-144) v Lucio Francisco Carmo (-104)

Daniello Pablo (+100) v Waldo Claudiano (-150)
