It's hard to imagine any other organization buying those contracts for what they are worth and making a profit putting on Flyweight fights. I never got people being so concerned over fighters personalities, must be a pro-wrestling fan thing. GSP has a quarter of DJ's personality, drying paint is bored when he speaks, but he was the biggest star the UFC had for quite a while. Were you hard whenever Matt Hamill fought? Yeah, one saying that was popular because of how awkward and pathetic it was. It sounded like kermit the frog trying to be tough after he watched fozzie bear cuckold him by fucking ms piggy. What showmanship? Coming out in a lame karate outfit or maybe the long string of tepid decisions in championship fights? What rivalries are you referencing? Matt hughes was a decent rival. That's one. Are you counting Serra? Or retiring rather then rematching hendricks after getting the gift win? That could have been good, but GSP wanted none of that. DJ fights are far more entertaining then GSP fights ever were. He's easily the most skilled all around fighter in mma and a top notch athlete to go along with it. I dont know why the UFC refuses to push him, theres plenty of theories out there that make sense when you consider the UFC's previous decisions on who to push.
