Mentor
I am proud to announce the winners of the GAMMA fighter of the year awards. The awards are given based upon the following criteria: 4 points for win 3 points for Title fight/Super fight 2 points for draw 1 point for loss 1 point per Fight of night award The following fighters gained over 55 points within GAMMA during the year: Papa Moosh Dambullah (330450) 83 Joosep "Little Bunny" Lohmus (325071) 80 Dougal McCraken (320702) 72 Anthony "The Law" Falcone (327510) 71 (Fight) Santino Lombardo (335790) 69 Song Turillo (327928) 67 Disco Kid (331200) 67 Shane "The Colonel" Raffington (345326) 60 (Title fight) Leonardo Da Vincible (318267) 58 Robert MacArthur Jnr (302907) 55 Joe "Shotgun" Clark (349146) 55 Technically Anthony and Shane could move up the ratings, Anthony can make top 3, depending on results, but nobody is beating Papa, so he is our #1 fighting in 2021! Mentor
Anthony will be at least at least 3rd, with a loss, but he will hold this position together with Dougal in such a case.
Mentor
With the final week of 2021 now over, we have the results of the top 3 fighters of the year: 1st Papa Moosh Dambullah (330450) 2nd Joosep "Little Bunny" Lohmus (325071) 3rd Dougal McCraken (320702) + Anthony "The Law" Falcone (327510) Anthony Falcone lost on the last day against Harley King, which means he gained just 1 point for that loss, putting him on par with Dougal McCraken (320702) for the 3rd spot. If Anthony would of won that fight, he would hold the 2nd spot and Dougal would be out of the top 3. So there was a bit of drama on the last day of the year 😉
Mentor
I am proud to induct Power Shark (94407) into the GAMMA hall of fame. A real life MMA fighter and long time member of the GAMMA roster. He seems to have recently retired from MMA Tycoon. At the moment he is ranked #38 among all GAMMA managers with a total of 271 ranking points. His overall record in GAMMA is 45-41-1, with a total of 14 title fights and 2 super fights to his name. One of the most reliable members of the roster, his fighters were always among the top fighters in the division, without any of them making it all the way to the Hall of Fame. A top notch guy outside the game, popular in the forums.

Mentor
GAMMA FON all time list: As many of you know, i am pretty crazy about my stats. In fact, we keep a full record of all our best managers and fighters of all time, which includes their all time wins/losses/title fights ect. Recently i made a full update of all the greatest fighters to compete in GAMMA (this is the current Hall of Fame fighters), to see which fighters have the most Fight of the Night (FON) awards! I have been giving FON awards based on the same formula since 2009: -The fighters needs to be in the top 3 most hyped fights (unless there is nobody in the top 3 fights with a KO/Sub, then i give to the winner of the next highest ranked fights). -Fight of the night award, i usually give to the highest rated fight in the top 3, unless they already received an award. -I never give 2 awards to the same fighter in the same fight. Based on this criteria, higher hyped fighters have an advantage, which means fighters who have more finishes. Bigger weight classes generally have more finishes on average. These are the top 20 of all time! (Next to their name is their total FON awards). Renan St Juste (102580) 50 Raz Matazz (25622) 39 Gunnar Steigelmann (196145) 32 Lao Shin (256055) 32 Farboleous Ricard (285507) 25 Jeremy Tonal (31632) 23 Fernando Prado (181926) 22 Jesse Custer (183716) - Jack Santoro 21 Arthur Curry (92326) 20 Jt Colossus (1688) 20 Thomas Bolleke (323315) 20 Gareth Keenan (272458) 19 Menace Defoe (268296) 19 Alan Bundy (21314) 19 Patrick Bateman (180187) 19 Jack Burton (17865) 18 Bubba Gumption (273905) 17 Rufus McTearson (186694) 17 Lukasz Wolek (255001) 17 Kenichi Shirahama (112324) 17 Ilya Mstislav Volkov (228159) 16 Cheez Itz (29886) 16 Renan is the top winner again. He is also the greatest GAMMA fighter. Raz moves up a spot to #2, having a long career generally helps 🙂 He got most of those awards early in his GAMMA career. Jeremy Tonal dropped down this list a lot, he is #2 all time but only 6th in this list. Mostly due to the opposite reason Raz is #2. His career was relatively shorter and he also had many fights outside of GAMMA and they ranked awards differently. Most of the other fighters are pretty consistent to their all time ranking, with exception of Patrick, Bubba, Kenichi and Cheez. These fighters are nowhere near the top 20 all time (most outside the top 30). All of them are HW or SHW fighters, which proves that like in real life, fans tend to draw more for bigger fighters. Either way, it was an interesting little addition to the GAMMA database.
Mentor
It is a proud moment to announce that Karim Johnson is the new Hall of Fame addition to the Tycoon world! Karim joined GAMMA after winning the Combate HW title and going on a long 14 fight winning streak before losing the title. His GAMMA career started with winning the title over Hiro Mirowaru, followed by 2 losses in a row. He made a quick comeback, avenging his loss to then champion Leonardo Da Vincible, beating him in their trilogy. He defended his title 3 times, before beating Viktor Babinski in a big super fight. We was in a long 4 month negotiation process with the #1 ranked fighter Kilo Maluga. He finally got his shot in their anticipated super fight, beating Kilo by KO and taking with him the Syn title and #1 spot in the game! This is the first time GAMMA has had a #1 ranked fighter since 2020. However we have had several #1 ranked fighters in our history, these are the list of top ranked fighters and the dates they achieved this goal: 2011-11-19 Jeremy Tonal 2012-06-23 Anton Chigurh 2013-09-15 Renan St Juste 2016-08-03 Matt Quin (239220) 2018-02-10 Saul Goodman 2019-03-16 Edward Kenway (253483) 2019-05-18 Pablo Maraçon (269807) 2020-01-30 Foot Fungus (302783) 2020-02-15 Snot Slurper (302782) 2020-04-04 Crotch Grabber (310041) 2022-03-12 Karim Johnson (347353)
Mentor
I was going through the large archive of GAMMA history and i decided to make the "all time leader" in GAMMA title fights. I do not have the stats of fighters still competing, so this includes those who are already in the HOF or are in line to join (ie, they are no longer in GAMMA). This is the top 20 of all time: Renan St Juste (102580) 29 Raz Matazz (25622) 26 Gunnar Steigelmann (196145) 26 Farboleous Ricard (285507) 23 Lao Shin (256055) 21 Thomas Bolleke (323315) 19 Gareth Keenan (272458) 18 Fernando Prado (181926) 18 Gerbert Bryant (241590) 17 Kenichi Shirahama (112324) 17 Alan Bundy (21314) 16 Krystian Wojnasiewicz (159688) 14 Saul Goodman (271572) 14 Mikhail Yudovich (15928) 14 Arthur Curry (92326) 14 Karl Denke (63718) 14 Alexander Khalifman (15927) 14 Patrick Bateman (180187) 14 Bubba Gumption (273905) 13 Matt Quin (239220) 13 Dao Sonnen (273645) 13 Rufus McTearson (186694) 13 Note: we had several fighters with 13 title fights joint in 20th place: Interesting to see some big names did not make the list (most notably of course is Jeremy Tonal). Jeremy spent most of his career on the super fight trail, which is why he did not make the top 20.
Mentor
I am proud to announce that Robin Yount (257101) has been inducted to our GAMMA Hall of Fame. Robin has been retired from the organization and the game since January 2019, so this is a late induction. He was managed by long time GAMMA great Dom Jaehnke (20196), who has been retired from the game some time himself. This induction is Dom's 3rd in GAMMA, taking him to 8th in the all time manager list. Robin had a total of 48 fights in GAMMA. His record was 27-20-1. He also had 13 fights in our Contenders and Rookie organization, which means he is one of the few fighters to go all the way from our 3rd tier to the top tier. He is the only fighter (as far as i remember), to win titles in all 3 tier's of GAMMA. He actually regained the Contenders title after being promoted, then demoted. His 191 total points gained, ranks him 23rd in the all time listings among the greatest of all time. If you count the fights in the lower tier orgs, he had over 60 total GAMMA fights! So he is on this list mainly due to his longevity, although he did compete for a GAMMA belt on 4 occasions. Robin also competed in 3 divisions during his career, the 155, 170 and a short stint in our Contenders at 185lbs. His biggest success was at 155lbs, where he upset Fernando Prado to win the title. He mostly lost against the very best, but besides the win over Fernando, he had massive wins against great all time GAMMA fighters such as Kira Miyata and Lao Shin among others. Mentor
GAMMA's anniversary is coming up in June, which means i will be doing the stats update for all managers. For all of you who do not know what that is, basically i keep a record of all managers who have won a GAMMA title over the years. Since we started in 2009, we have a total of 157 such managers! Many of those managers have retired, but there is a good deal of managers still competing at the highest level, in total there is about 40 current or former champions. The last time we did such a stats update, was June 2021, so I expect there could be some significant changes in the ratings. Based on the latest update, here are our highest ranking managers (i included just those with 200 points or higher): Whymer Van Mastodon (40116) 1527 Laz Staz (82447) 1270 Gale Hawthorne (22636) 1200 Alika Webb (62511) 917 Carlos Castenada (84794) 90 Grumpy Bastard (102643) 866 Dom Jaehnke (20196) 825 Gerbert Bryant (84742) 810 Bloody Gutz (3074) 773 Runt . Mentor
I am proud to announce that Mark Harrington (48323) has been inducted to the GAMMA Hall of Fame!I have to say, this is probably one of the more emotional inductions for the point of view that, in most cases, a manager like Mark would be in our Hall of Fame ages ago. Mark is a GAMMA veteran and started competing in GAMMA over 10 years ago! However, he only recently competed and won a GAMMA title recently (which is the criteria for HOF inductions). He achieved this goal after Kevin Daughtrey (324925), a veteran with 32-28-3 record, won the GAMMA 170lbs title.Mark has a 73-80-5 record in GAMMA, a total of 158 fights. This would rank him 17th in all time total fights for the org. He also competed for GAMMA titles on 6 different occasions, Kevin being his most successful fighter. With a total of 394 ranking points, Mark ranks 25th all time as the greatest GAMMA manager. Consistency is what got him into the Hall of Fame, congratulations to Mark for his achievement! Mentor
Hello all, i did a stats update to see which manager had the best year overall. Usually i do two of these per year, but the last one was May 2021, so we have a whole year's worth of updating. I have not updated the overall (all time list) yet, but i will be doing that in the next 2 weeks, maybe earlier. Just as a reminder, we give points upon the following criteria: Wins = 4 points Draws = 2 points Loss = 1 point Title Fight / Super fight = 3 points In this list i only included those who had significant success (50+ points). Only managers who are currently in our HOF or have won/competed for a title are included. Here is the best managers: Carlos Castenada (84794) 249 Whymer Van Mastodon (40116) 161 Laz Staz (82447) 155 Mark Harrington (48323) 129 Rodrigo Rojas (101547) 109 Tev Clark (120079) 106 Runt . (108617) 105 Alex Maniatakos (126717) 92 Alexander Biro (81823) 90 Mike Hunt (39215) 85 Billy Arseworth (74054) 79 Bwang Jong Sr (91781) 79 Joe River (13987) 79 Frank Abbot (49418) 74 Randall McSweeny (14361) 72 Grumpy Bastard (102643) 70 Theksit Ruengruong (117485) 68 Action Jackson (123097) 64 Jack King (124211) 63 Stig Zapp (120455) 61 Alika Webb (62511) 58 Anti Kristus (12040) 57 Marky Mark (22640) 54 Corey Mcgraugh (123019) 52 Carlos dominated the year and was clearly the best overall manager in GAMMA! Carlos was already high up on the all time list, this could move him inside the top 4 or 5. Laz and Whymer (the #2 and #1 managers all time in GAMMA), battled it out for the second spot with Whymer just edging Laz out for the silver medal. For Whymer this was a comeback year, after a couple of years with below his usual level of greatness. This will also help keep Laz at bay, he was gaining ground for the #1 all time spot. Recent HOF addition Mark Harrington (48323) had his breakout year, winning the 170lbs title and competing for the 155lbs belt as well, so we can expect more from the veteran going forward. Rodrigo Rojas (101547) has been going strong for a while, he often has top level fighters in the org. Newcomer Tev Clark (120079) had his best year, last year he just joined the org, this was the year he won the titles and just missed out on the 4 + 5th places. Billy Arseworth (74054) had a very strong showing with 79 points, considering he has just one fighter in the org (that fighter is Joosep Lohmus, so it really helps, lol). All in all, most people on this list are either already in our Hall of Fame or candidates to enter it soon.
Mentor
Joosep Lohmus vs Song Turillo is the greatest MMA Tycoon rivalry of all time and here is why! Here is the key criteria which proves this point: Quality of Managers: Joosep was managed by 2 managers during this rivalry and both are in the MMA Tycoon Hall of Fame! Alex K. (84400) was his original creator and signed him up to GAMMA in the first place. He went 1-2 in GAMMA and his second fight in the org was against Song. Billy Arseworth (74054) Took over after that and the majority of this rivalry was under his watch. Billy was also voted as the manager of the year back in 2017 and is in most peoples books a top 5 or 10 manager of all time in this game. Song is also managed by a MMA Tycoon Hall of Famer! Also the manager of the year back in 2016. A top 10 manager at least in all people’s books. He is also the greatest manager of all time, currently in GAMMA’s history. So you have 2 fighters managed by 3 of the best managers ever. How many times do you have 3 top level managers involved in a 1 on 1 rivalry? Quality of the fighters Joosep’s highest ranking is #6, Song’s highest ranking is #7. Both are likely going to end up in the GAMMA hall of fame. Joosep is also the 2017, 205lbs fighter of the year. So it is a rivalry among 2 top level fighters. I know there have been rivalries (such as Kilo vs Karim recently), where we had 2 fighters who were higher ranking, but if we take the totality of all the criteria, there has never been a rivalry at this level before. Quality of the Org They are doing this all during a time when GAMMA was a top 3-4 org, PPV level. GAMMA is also one of the oldest running orgs in the game and our 205lbs title has been around since 2009. So this is happening at the highest or one of the highest levels in the game. I am pretty sure if we did deep somewhere in the regional or ID level, we had had some great rivalries, but among PPV level organizations, this is by far a unique case. Length of the rivalry This is a rivalry going back to 2019-11-02 and it is ongoing still. Their latest fight was last weekend, May 2022!! That is an ongoing rivalry of 2 ½ years! Most high end rivalries could go on for a year, especially in top level organizations, because in most cases these fighters are peaked when they join. You rarely get 2 peaked fighters and future legends, join an org like GAMMA early, end up fighting as soon as they join and keep it going. For something like this to actually happen, you usually need an ID level org and get them to fight each other, when they are just starting out. The sheer quantity of fights between each fighter At the moment of writing this article, they have already competed 7 times. Their 8th fight will take place in June 2022 and the funny thing is that this could not be over! Most likely it is, but Song is 36 and Joosep is 37, both are top 50ish level fighters. We had fighters compete in GAMMA well into their 40s, so who knows. At the moment they are the best in the division, so it is not impossible. There has never been 8 fights between 2 fighters in a PPV level org and it is not as if I am trying to book them against each other! This is the first time I am booking a back to back and that is because they got a draw. With exception of one other case, there was always 2 or more fight win streaks between each fight and in each case they were the top contender. So they were fights that made a hell lot of sense. Also, it is not as if the division was so weak during the whole period and I was forced to put them against each other all the time, during this run we had fighters such as Anthony "The Law" Falcone (327510), Robert MacArthur Jnr (302907), Damagon "Eye of the Dragon" Ench rya (326581) , Thomas Bolleke (323315), Ryan Dinu (302783) around. These are all top 10-15 level fighters. I am probably missing some others out, but the point is, there was plenty of high end competition in the division during the whole length of the rivalry. The competitiveness between them The current score is 3-3-1!!! Damn. It is totally equal, both with 3 wins and their last fight was a draw!!! A damn draw in a 5 rounder for the title. Getting a draw in a 5 rounder is very unlikely, I had maybe 2-3 such cases in 12 years, but to get a draw when the 2 fighters are on a DRAW of 3 wins each? I mean, it would be tough to artificially get 2 fighters of this level on a 3-3-1. You could not get it to happen, even if you “fixed” the result, lol. Conclusion I am pretty sure, any one of the above criteria can be debated. You could debate that there have been rivalries between fighters who had better managers, where the level of fighters were better, where the depth of the division or the quality of the org was higher. All those points are “debatable” points based upon personal opinions. In fact, in some of those cases, I could agree with you! But show me a case, at PPV level where we had 8 fights, 6 of which are title fights, where the first fight took place over 2 ½ years away from the last fight, where the fighters were managed by 3 HOF managers (or even show me 2 HOF managers!). Where we have a 3-3-1 record with the 8th fight deciding who is the better of the 2 fighters??? This is where you have the Royal Flush in Poker and you know you are ahead or this is like when Vince Carter completed his Dunks in the 2001 dunk contest and the commentator (Kenny Smith, for whoever knows the NBA) said – ITS OVER, ITS OVER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kro3Caums2c&ab_channel=JimColton Yes, ladies and gentlemen (and others, I am talking to all those dragons out there) , It is truly over. This Rivalry is the best among 2 fighters in the game’s history, end of story.
Mentor
Happy 13 year anniversary of playing MMA Tycoon! Our random prize generator has selected a prize of 36 tickets in the Tycoon Lottery and we have given you 5 free spins on Spin and Win, so good luck! Thanks for your support of the game and have a great day! GAMMA was launched a week after i started this game, 13 years ago. 13 years in a row, no breaks, running an org. GAMMA 1000 is pretty close as well, so yeah. I bet there is players in the game today that were not born when GAMMA was started, that is how long ago we started this organization. What is also funny is that i started the org on the 6th of June, the same day my daughter was born (she was born 5 years earlier, so no, it was NOT the actual day she was born, lol). There is such a long list of managers i would like to send out the love to, but, to not leave anyone out, i will be posting 2 all time lists. The all time greatest manager lists and the all time winning % (among managers who have won a GAMMA title and have a minimum of a certain amount of fights in the organization). Thanks for the great fights and dedication over the years. 2
Daudy
Congrats on the 13 years buddy. I remember seeing your name around the nearly 10 years ago when I first started, and then lo and behold, you're still here when I come back. Also, I love the rivalry write up. It's one I've become more invested in purely because we sponsor one of the two, and I have a feeling we might even see another fight in the future. I couldn't believe that draw before today's rematch.

We are getting old in this game. Imagine that, 13 years! I bet there is players that are under 13y old playing this game now and yes, that rivalry is crazy. Song won the latest fight, so he is ahead, but who knows, it could not be over yet!
