Make Mike Money - Ideas

Wow, a lot of additions for the rich managers!

We have to keep in mind that we can't start using VIP days in a way where it would advantage you over other. This isn't the goal of this game. Plus, Mike should have a lot to work on already (I'm still eagerly waiting for the smack talk system to appear in the game, this would be the biggest and greatest addition ever, since right now there's no easy way to do it, and it's pretty much the only fun thing about the game, that's what a social game should be about).

I don't like the name of the thread, "Make Mike Money". This is a game, not a money sink. We need to find improvements to make the game better, not get the creator richer.

If a game is great more people woll come and buy VIP.

I've thought of such an idea - Seminars on Sundays. Seminars from real MMA legends and stars - and they could teach your fighter what they're good at themselves. This is where rich people could spend their Tycoon cash on.

Lets say that we mark the amount of possible progress from seminar with a value from 1 to 10. Like Rory Macdonald's takedowns value would be 7 while GSP's takedowns would be ranked 10. So training with GSP would give you a better training in takedowns but Rory might let you train some other skills that he's good at. And lets say the max value for each fighter is 20. You'll understand from this example.

Royce Gracie - a session with him would increase your Submissions (10) and Defensive grappling (10). Cost 30000$ per session.

BJ Penn - Boxing (10), BJJ (10). Cost 30000$ per session.

Jon Jones - Elbows (10), Takedowns (10). Cost 30000$ per session.

Anderson Silva - Striking Defense (10), Muay Thai (10). Cost 30000$ per session.

Jose Aldo - Kicks (10), Muay Thai (10). Cost 30000$ per session.

Tyron Woodley - Punches (6), Takedowns (8), Takedown Defense (6). Cost 13000$ per session.

Junior Dos Santos - Punches (8), Boxing (8), Takedown Defense (4). Cost 17000$ per session.

Alistair Overeem - Knees (10), Clinchwork (6), Kicks (4). Cost 13000$ per session.

Martin Kampmann - Submissions (6), Striking Defense (4), Muay Thai (4), Takedowns (3), Punches (3). Cost 5000$ per session.

These were kinda examples of what I meant :)

Richer guys? I am poor. I work my ass off for all my money. No one gave me anything and I did not find a wife with a rich family. The only difference between a poor member in game and myself is how we spend our money in real life.

So if I choose to spend my real cash on this game and poor in game members do not. Why should I lose out? In game poorness is a choice, stop drinking alcohol or eating junk food one night a week and you also could have more in game opportunities if you choose to put that addition cash into your tycoon life.

We all choose to spend our real money on things we like. Hobbies, women, alcohol, food, porn, cigarettes. The list goes on and on. I choose to spend money here on this game, if you do not then that is your choice to not have more ingame.

You misunderstood me. There should be more ways to make Mike money, yes on that we can agree. But at the end of the day this is a game and we dont want to be able to simply buy unlimited press conferences for our Org to make it the best in the game when the people who dont spend that rl money stay at the bottom of the orgs.

The way for rl money to be spent is to spend it on things that dont make a whole lot of difference but are a nice addition, for instance IQ tests or something

My point being it shouldnt be that the people with more disposable income can buy their way to the top of the game, thats not what i want

Yeah because how you spend money in real life isn't a big deal at all...

You should lose out because if the game was like that then it would really just be you in it dominating over no one. Games such as these should require a bit of skill, a bit of good networking and a whole lotta luck. Not who can max out their credit card the fastest.

Unlimited fighter slots.

If you have the RL funds you can use them, and this benefits the game and Mike, but offers no advantage over those that don't have the RL.

I understand that some guys have low paid jobs, or are at school or university, but there are many that probably have an abundance of cash and actually think this game is cheap as chips.

Maybe it's supply and demand that's keeps VIP so cheap, which is fine because of the demograhics but Mike has a wealthy section of Tycoon managers that probably sit there thinking he is missing a trick.

If he goes unlimited he will see the cash come, and can re-invest into the game.

There will be managers who are against this, but IMO on a micro level, they aren't sat in bedsit in Leeds with wife and baby doing coupons. I'm also sure he would like to move out of Yorkshire because the accent sucks.

A 15 day VIP prostitute should temporarily raise your morale, but once you discover that she gave your fighter an STD, it should drop down to 0. Gotta spend a little more if you want them to be clean.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. As always, I really don't anything that's paying for a competitive advantage.

I wanna do the custom trophies one. How much do we reckon for a trophy you can use once / on one manager / fighter?

Org owner pays 30VIP days (presuming you're on about for tourneys etc.) - based pricing off of Custom Av pricing.
