Hello everyone this is dugguu hazarra bringing to you the preview of one of the most highly anticipated cards of 2018 in Empire fc which is EFC: Bang vs DeSilva. This card full of exciting matches will take place in the Liberty dome on 20.10.18 and the event will have have our merchandising partner BONGOL BRAND as always helping us. So without furthur adeiu lets get straight to the undercard bouts.

(UNDERCARD BOUTS)

1.Sergio "Serge" Ball vs Kasper "Spitter" Iskold. (LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT)

So our first bout of the evening sees the undefeated heavyweight prospect Sergio Ball a future title contender go up against a young talented Kasper Iskold who will be under huge pressure to deliver in this fight as his career has take a huge step backwards.

Now Sergio Ball is a fantastic boxer with an undefeated professional record of [3 wins 0 losses].He is a former (Gentlemen's fight club) fighter but left that organization due to not getting sufficient fights. He will be looking to stand and brawl with opponent as his opponent is no match for him in boxing and therefore will be looking to win this fight at any cost to get himself the top 5 of the weight class and possibly into title contention.

Now Kasper Iskold is an up and coming youngstar who has a professional record of [1 win and 1 loss].He is a boxer and a wrestler who is able to fight on the ground as well as standing up but will be looking to get this fight to the ground as soon as possible considering his opponents strength standing up.He has only fought in QFC and has never fought in an organization so he will be looking to win this fight desperately to get his carrer back on path and break into the top 10 of his weight class

Prediction:Sergio Ball wins via (knockout Round 2)

.

2.Bruce"The Buriser"Bernier vs Don"The Destroyer"Fitzgerald:(WELTERWEIGHT BOUT)

Now in this match I have got a gut feeling that it is going to be one of the matches to watch out for in the whole event as two of the brightest prospects go head to head to find out who's the best.

Bruce Bernier is a classic (Muay thai) artist who loves to work in clinch and grappling,he is at the start of his career and has a record of [1 win and 0 losses] and is like his opponent a debutant in the organization. He has genuine KNOCKOUT POWER(KO) and will be looking to prove to everyone that he is not one to be taken lightly. He will look to fight mostly standing and clinching and working in close distance to his opponent as that is where he is great and will be looking to win to break into the top #5 of the lightweight category.

His opponent Don Fitzgerald is a relatively experienced fighter in the sport of MMA with a undefeated professional record of [4 wins and 0 losses].He formerly fought for (Bandai MMA) and also won a fight there so he has good experience for fighting in an organization as compared to Bruce Bernier who has no experience.
He is a finisher who finishes fights early which is proved by [4 wins and 4 1st round knockouts] and is also a classic (muay thai) artist and also a good wrestler but he will be looking to stand and brawl as he has the stronger punch. And He will be looking to win the fight to get into title contention as a early contender to the title.

Prediction:Don Fitzgerald wins via (knockout[KO] round 2).

3."Super"Antonio Salieri vs Head Coach "Mason Hartley".(LIGHTWEIGHT BOUT)

Now after the young inexperienced fighters have done their bit it's time for the veterans to go head to head to prove that they have still got it in their belly and haven't lost the plot and also to get their career back on track by winning the fight.

First up in this fight is Antonio Salieri. He is a veteran experienced fighters who has fought in many organizations before like (Gladiators MMA,Freedom Fighting Alliance(FFA),Knockout Fc,Extreme Fighting Association(EFA) and SYN Dare). He has been a title contender and has fought for the title in EFA AND FFA and therefore has been up there on top of the division before but his career has been on a decline since his move from (1885 lbs MIDDLEWEIGHT DIVISION TO 155 LBS LIGHTWEIGHT DIVISION) and therefore after a very promising start to his carrer he has a professional record of [10 wins and 8 losses].He has the potential to mix it up in a fight by standing and brawling and also going to ground. So he has to win this fight to get his career back on the right path.

His opponent Head coach is a real veteran of the sport carrying a record of [31 wins 23 losses and 3 draws].He has had a lot of highs and lows in his career but at the age of 39 he is probably nearing the last hurrah of his life. He has been a title contender in (Duel Fighting Championship,Epicity production (EP)and Powers Fighting Championship(WFC)).He has rubbed shoulders with some of the best in the world and has nothing to prove but his career has been on a steady decline since leaving [DUEL] and therefore he will be looking to win the fight to prove he has still got it.Like his opponent Head Coach is also a balanced fighter and has the potential to mix it up in the fight.

Prediction: Head Coach wins via (UNANIMOUS DECISION ROUND 3)

4.Frank"The Machine"Tyson vs Jo Boo:(WELTERWEIGHT BOUT 170 LBS)

This is a fight between two title contenders in the welterweight division and is sure to be an exciting one. They are both experienced as well as young and the winner of the fight could potentially fight for the title next.

First up is Frank Tyson,He is one of the most experienced fighters in this division and has previously fought in (The Island Title[TIT],Knockout Fc[KOFC],Iron man fight club[iFC])and carries a professional record of [10 wins and 7 losses].He is a deadly opponent for everyone in this division as he can submit ar knockout anyone and everyone in his day but i think in this fight he is going to stand and brawl with his opponent and potentially knock him out.He will want to win this fight to possibly become the outright contender for the title.

Now his opponent Jo Boo is a submission artist with most of his wins coming via submission. He has previously fought in (Knockout Fc[KOFC] and Freedom Fighting Alliance[FFA]) and has a professional record of [6 wins and 5 losses].He like his opponent will make his debut in this organization and will be looking to win the fight to be considered among the top #5 in the division. He will without doubt be looking to get this fight in the ground as soon as possible and control his opponent from there.

Prediction:Frank Tyson wins via [KNOCKOUT(KO) ROUND 3]

5. TBC VS TBC (185 LBS MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT).

(MAIN CARD)

6.Molokai Built vs Connor"Chameleon"Joieson:(135 LBS BANTAMWEIGHT BOUT).

This is going to be a straight forward stand up boxing match between to young knockout artists(KO) to see who's the best. Both of them are talents for the future and relatively inexperienced in terms of matches and both will look to win this winner takes all fight to strengthen their supremecy over the other.

First up is Molokai Built, he is a former (Skrap House MMA) Bantamweight(135 LBS) Champion and has also fought in Kings Fighting Championship(KFC).He carries a professional record of [4 wins and 3 losses] and is like many others in the card making his debut in this organization. He is making his comeback to the sport after a long time and as a stand up KO artist he will be looking to knock his opponent out in this fight to mark his brilliant comeback to the sport and break into the top #5 of this weight class.

His opponent Connor Joieson is another of the young gems of the organization.Just like his opponent he has also formerly fought in (Skrap House MMA)and also (Sydney Fight Nights). He carries a professional record of [4 wins and 5 losses].For a few months now his career is starting to fall from grace massively and therefore this will be a must win situation for him if he is to become one of the best.He is also a stand up fighter but his manager has decision to make as his opponent is much better skilled in terms of knocking opponents out and therefore i think he should stand and brawl to have any chance to win this fight.

Prediction:Molokai Built wins via (KNOCKOUT ROUND 2)

7.Boris Matusov vs "Dangerous" David DeCastro (170 LBS WELTERWEIGHT BOUT)

This fight is one i am looking forward to as it has all the ingredients to be fight of the night (FOTN) as it has two former welterweight champions of two different organization and both fighters have contrasting styles and can KO or submit each other anytime.

First up is Boris Matusov,He is a young lad yet he is experienced and by no means a newcomer to the sport. He is the former Budokai Fighting Federation (BFF)[WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION] and carries a professional record of [5 wins 4 losses(2 wins as champion)].He is a submission artist and will be looking to get this fight to the ground as soon as possible as he knows he is superior to his opponent in the ground. He is a very exciting lad as he either get's finished in the first round or finishes the fight in the 1st round and therefore will be looking to the fight to get into title contention.

His opponent David DeCastro is indeed dangerous as his name suggests as he is a potent finisher and can knock anyone out anytime. He is a former [bEACH FIGHTS (ISLAND)] welterweight champion and carries a professional record of [6 wins and 1 loss].As i said before he is a (KO) artist and will be looking to stand and brawl with his opponent. For him too 6 of his 7 fights have finished in the first round itself so he will be looking to win the fight to be outright #1 contender for the [170 lbs] title.

Prediction:David DeCastro wins via (knockout ROUND 2)

Barack Obama vs Scott Page (135 LBS BANTAMWEIGHT BOUT).

Now after a illustrious career and reaching the summit of MMA these two veterans are here to prove to everyone that they have not lost the minus touch. They have both fought in Gamma and hopefully they can teach and show the kids in the division how (fight of the night) looks like.

First up is Barack Obama,He is one of the most experienced fighters in the roster and has fought in some of the best organizations in the world namely (Gamma Duel,Evolution,Ontario Fight Nights,Synchronicity,Legacy,Canadian Fighting Championship etc and has rubbed should with the very best.He is a former Gamma Duel (BANTAMWEIGHT 135 LBS) champion and recently moved up to (145 lbs) after going to Gamma but after his loss he was heavily criticised so he left Gamma and came here to prove he has still got it.He is a submission artist with a professional record of [27 wins 27 losses 1 draw] and will be looking to get this fight to the ground to win the fight and get back that winning habit again.

His opponent Scott page is a former Holmgang (WELTERWEIGHT 170 LBS]champion and also a former fighter at Gamma at (170 LBS).But he has been o massive weight cut and has gone down to (135 lbs)to start a new chapter in his career by no means he is young though but still he wanted to start fresh. But now after his last weight cut he is struggling to make weight and we are not sure if the fight would go through as planned but none the less he has a professional record of [20 wins 11 losses] and will be looking to fight on the feet and fight for decision.

Prediction:Barack Obama wins via (submission round 3)

(CO-MAIN EVENT)

9. Samak Reunroeng vs Freddie "Kimura" Zamora (135 LBS BANTAMWEIGHT)

All the best talent and fighters of the organization look like they are from bantamweight division only as two young prospect collide in the co headliner to find out who's the best and deserve a shot at the title next.

First up is Samak Reunroeng,He is one who also wanted to start a fresh career at (155 lbs lightweight) at [iron Man Fight Club] but his experiment failed miserably too so he is back to where he belongs and he is back to be in the title picture again. He had a great time time at (The Global Colesium) before his career stalled and carries a professional record of [7 wins 4 losses 1 draw]. He has no particular style to be honest with you and probably will mix it up and try to fight and win by decision to get back in the right path.

His opponent Freddie Zamora is one that came to MMA with a lot of promise but has not really delivered. He is a former Gamma Proving Grounds fighter and has also fought for the [bANTAMWEIGHT TITLE] in (Heavy Hitters Fight Club) and has a professional record of [7 wins and 5 losses].He is a submission artist and will be looking to get this fight to the ground where he clearly has an advantage and will be looking to win the fight to also like his opponent get his career back on the right path after a disasterous few months.

Prediction: Samak Reunroeng wins via (UNANIMOUS DECISION ROUND 3)

(MAIN EVENT)

10.Miro Bang vs "2 champ"Antonio Mauricio DeSilva.(205 LBS LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT)

The main of the evening sees the former (United States Fighting Championship) Light Heavyweight champion go up against a young inexperienced Antonio De Silva in the battle for supremecy.

First up is Miro Bang, He is a fighter of many a battle against top quality opposition and has a professional record of [27 wins 21 losses]. He has fought for the title in many organizations and was a champion too in (USFC).He is a submission artist and will be looking to get this fight to the ground and finish his opponent and prove that he is still the better of the two.

His opponent Antonio De Silva is a pretty young yet inexperienced fighter with a professional record of [3 wins and 1 loss].He is currently on a 3 fight win streak and therefore will be looking to win this fight to continue the streak and get into the #5 of the weight class. He is a KO artist therefore he will be looking to stand and brawl.

Prediction:Miro Bang wins via (Submission Round 2)

So this is where the show will end hope you have a blast.

Rosco "The Gentleman" Ladd (295897) vs. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson (267906)

FOR THE MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

185 LBS

Two cage veterans enter, one will emerge victorious as a new champion. Ladd and Anderson have never won a championship title in their career, and only Ladd has had the chance to fight for one until today. Never say never in the fight game of mma, and you can bet that both of these fighters will be ready for war when the bell rings on Nov 10th. Lets get a look inside the numbers.

Ladd (13-10-1) is on a 2 fight win streak, where he recently signed as a 12 fight veteran from the DARE organization and won his 1st EFC fight by decision against James Steel. Ladd has built his game around the stand up boxing with a little influence of the thai clinch. He possess wrestling abilities, although used more for a defensive measure. He does outrank Arn in jiu jitsu with a very impressive black belt and has been an Abu Dhabi Grappling Champion, but again he has never shown that he intends to fight off his back in MMA. Ladd feels very comfortable boxing and will go head, body, head, body and mix up some combinations in there. Not once has he used his legs to attack the opponent, which he may need to change up some to make himself a little more harder to gameplan for. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson (17-15) recently of Duel and OFC promotions come into the EFC with a highlight career head kick KO against Elliot Rockwell a little over a week ago. Arn is a smaller stockier fighter with great balance and insane flexibility. He began as a Kickboxer and displays great stand up from the clinch, kicks, and punches. Arn has had mixed results as a pro and has seen many losses come from going the distance and losing on judges scorecards. Arn has shown his versatility as a fighter and does win with 80% KO ratio.

Prediction: Arn Anderson by KO

170 LBS

Boris Matusov (330414) vs. John "Whistle Tits" Miller (331277)

We have a welterweight fight where the age difference is 6 years. Miller is older, but Matusov has the better record and as a 2 time former champion from Budokai Fighting Federation Matusov , (7-4) has won all 7 of his fights by submission. A highly trained brown belt in jiu jitsu he knows how to get people to the ground through his training at Lucky Liam's MMA Academy in London. He has trained with some olympic wrestlers and amateur champions as well. He said he liked his native Russia's sambo with freestyle western influence, I said ok.... and then he smoked a blunt right in front of me. Pretty confident fighter he is and he doesn't mind scrapping, but everyone knows where his game is. Miller's nickname is a side story worthy of 26 hours of game play on Fallout 4, or its something he got tagged with at his best friend's bachelor party, but either way Miller (5-5) is shorter than Matusov which should help him stop those takedown attempts, but does he want to stop them?? Looking over his fight statistics, it seems like he isn't sure he knows what his game plan is going to be. He is very rough around the edges and has strong to proficient stand up game, and has some grappling experience with 4 of his 5 wins coming by submission, I'm not sure he will want to do this with Matusov who will have the ground advantage.

Prediction: Matusov by Sub, RNC

135 LBS

Molokai Built (314236) vs. Freddie "Kimura" Zamora (319428)

An interesting match up here as we have Built (6-3), who is a great boxer with granite chin facing an abu dhabi champion who has the gas to go all night looking for that submission with Zamora (8-6). Built has the reach to keep zamora away, but he will have to outwork him with his feet if he wants to keep the fight away from the ground. I'm 100% positive that zamora will want to take built down, but he has a good arsenal from which to attack his opponents into exchanges that benefit him to go for the takedowns. He has shown great shoot fighting ability, but will go to the clinch if he has to. The big key is how will Built fight Zamora with his relentless takedown attacks? Well Built's last 2 opponents had better wrestling and higher level belt than he, and he was able to transition out of trouble and back on his feet a total of 9 times while defying multiple more takedown attempts. It seems as if Zamora may have a tough time with this fighter.

Prediction: Built by TKO

The lounge will be packed for these fights as New York loves the mma fight scene, pass the word around that these guys are here to entertain and fight for the sport they love. Modern day gladiators fighting not for money here at Empire FC, but for legacy and honor!

EFC Horowich vs Rockwell (915000)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/15414860651541486965-picsay.jpg

Hayashi's Lounge - Montreal

Nov 10, 2018

BONGOL BRAND ($50 for all design) (5553)

The EFC hosts two events for all the lucky fans. Montreal will host the 2nd event of the day at Hayashi's Lounge. Bongol Brand will also be there selling some of their latest merchandise and also supporting the fighters with some sweet new gear. There were some rumors around town that there might be a major upset in some of the top fights tonight, so lets do a quick review of the top 3 main fights, and my colleague Mike Doldberg will talk about 2 more fights on the card that he believes are going to be those talked about for weeks to come.

Main Event 185 LBS

Mark "Multiverse Crocodile" Horowich (329244) vs. Lew "The Rock" Rockwell (307203)

Horowich (5-0) is 28 years old, 5 years younger than the well traveled veteran Rockwell (17-12-1). Horowich has won 4 of his 5 fights by submission and he looks to keep the trend going. Slightly taller than his opponent, he rarely throws any type of strikes of note to set up anything. He has had most success going into the clinch where he loves to use body locks and judo to get his opponents to the ground. The native Australian has proficient wrestling and a brown belt in bjj, but he also was one of last year's Island fighters that got lost in the jungle and hasn't trained in awhile. Now that he is out it will be interesting to see what in his game has changed now under new management. Horowich has had success so far as he won his debut with EFC with a decision win over Richard Volg. Rockwell, has way more experience than Horowich, and he also has more diverse fighting methods as he has shown the ability to set up takedowns with a little more offensive strikes than his opponent. Rockwell is a bit of a brain, as he is an author and editor and has founded a learning institute, all the while fighting and training his specialty of brazilian jiu jitsu. Important key is that they both claim to be better than the other at jiu jitsu, but Horowich has a higher level belt than Rockwell, Hmmm i wonder where he trained to get it? This match up is a classic grappler vs. grappler fight, but Rockwell could choose to stand a little more to set up a more favorable position in the fight. Rockwell has championship experience as a 2 time champion with Rebirth.

Prediction: Rockwell by Sub, Omoplata

145 LBS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE FIGHT

Kristof "Cannibal" Sienly (260427) vs. Tusing Pocc (288308)

Championship fights are always so cool to breakdown. Sienly (22-9-1) just recently defeated Ryan McCarthy for the EFC Title by punch KO at the end of October and requested a quick turnaround defense. Sienly has been no stranger to title fights over the course of his career as he has won title with promotions like Elite Canadian Fighting Championship, Executioner FC, Tradition Fight Club, Havoc FC, Canadian Fighting Championship, and Legacy. The biggest hype win of his career came when he beat Pako Laine (252555) by decision in 2015. Sienly at 35 years of age wants his title defense long as possible and he loves to mix up his stand up with many kicks as well as punches. Not necessarily known as a ground fighter, he seems to do well defensively and attacking wrestlers as he gets up which throws them off balanced and leaves them wide open for knees and kicks. Pocc (16-17-1) was given the opportunity to step up and fight Sienly here only after 13 days since he won the belt and prove that regardless of his journeyman record he has what it takes to become a champion. Pocc has 15 of his 16 wins coming by way of submission, and while recently unsigned and fighting on the regional quick fight circuit he has gone on a 3 fight win streak, all by submissions in different ways. Pocc is smaller than his opponent, which does give him a leverage advantage while he tries to shoot for his takedowns in majority of his fights, and that is where Pocc wants to be, but does he have what it takes to avoid the higher skilled boxing and grappling defense of Sienly?

Prediction: Sienly by KO, Uppercut

205 LBS

Hector "Mini" Davis (252585) vs.Jako "The Croc" Day (289645)

Hector Davis (19-10-1) hadn't fought since December 2017, but fought twice in one week in October and secured 2 armbar submission victories. Now he hasn't been training a lot, and he is going to have to be really ready to take this step up for his debut with the EFC against Day. Hector is an olympic wrestler with a black belt in jiu jitsu with a grind mentality to put his opponent on their back and try to collect a body part or until they go to sleep. Hector does has some KO power and has 7 wins by KO/TKO, but most of those were a couple of years ago, and since it seems he has one way he wants to fight. Day (17-12) is good at a lot of skills, but he is not great at any. He is a decision fighter to say the least where about 50% of all his fights goes to the judges scorecards. He will have the size, reach, and weight advantage in this fight with Hector, but he will have to fend off takedown after takedown from the "Mini" and also fight off constant submission attempts, where 5 of Day's losses have come from.

Prediction: Davis by Sub, Brabo Choke

Mike Doldberg's notes

Well, it looks like the fight between Wooden Pencil (198846) and Chinggis Khaan (282607) at 185 will have to wait, as it appears Khaan will not make the weight, hours before the fight he is still at 188.9 Lbs.

I really like the match up with Vasily "The Professor" Khrapov Jr (301736) vs. Wutang Lee "The Dragon" (283598) where both are on a winning streak, both have a brown belt in bjj, and both have the stand up with the edge going to Wutang Lee. Khrapov is a former KT fighter but was a more of a boxer in style as he didn't use a muay thai fight attack with knees, elbows, or kicks. Lee on the other hand has and it will be very interesting to see if they both stand up and fight each other or will someone gameplan a more clinch to ground centered fight. This fight winner should definitely be looking at a title shot soon at EFC!

There we go ! A quick review with some added notes about today's EFC fights in Montreal! We have a 145 Lbs title on the line and some serious contender type fights lined up for the fans at Hayashi's Lounge. Good luck to all the fighters tonight and party hard at the after party, where i will be smashed to crash!

EFC Boudain vs Raymaker (915225)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/15415858981541586828-picsay.jpg

Hayashi's Lounge, New York City, NY

Nov 17, 2018

Sponsored by: Bongol Brand

Welcome to Hayashi's Lounge in the Big Apple where the EFC is ready to explode onto the scene here with 10 great cage fights. They are wasting no time in preparing their new champions of the organization as they are going to have a new heavyweight champion tonight with a great match up. Lets look at the top 5 fights on the card and check out the analysis of each.

265 LBS CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT

"El Gordo" Dante Boudain (243029) vs. Kai Raymaker (310873)

There was once an old Lion who had lived in the jungle. The Lion had fought many battles and adversaries throughout his reign, but every once in awhile there is a young, strong Lion and takes his chance to dethrone the older King. This is the story of tonights Heavyweight Title Fight.

Boudain (28-11-1), an older Lion, a champion in 4 different organizations, and on a 13-1 streak looks to solidify his place in the EFC's heavyweight jungle. He will have to face a hungry and younger Lion in Raymaker (6-1-1).

Boudain is a dangerous stand up striker, who does not go or stay on the ground. He will make his opponents fight his game as he has done over the course of his career. At 38 years old, he has shown no signs of loss of skills, he may be a step or so behind his speed or agility, but his strength and sharpness from experience will maintain him. He has an 89% KO/TKO percentage of all his wins, and his biggest hype win of his career was when he knocked out "The Horse" DJ Maximus (249855) for a title at Aggressive Damage in 2017.

Raymaker began as a kickboxer where he went (2-0-1) before he decided to transition over to mma. Mostly because of the lack of Kickboxing organizations and events. He entered a tournament in the DARE promotion where he lost his opening round fight to fellow kickboxer monster Udovich by KO. Determined not to let this be his undoing, he has since been on a rampage training and winning his next 3 fights. Now at 23 years old and with 100% KO percentage in his wins, expect Raymaker to give his best for the first title shot of his life.

Raymaker does have the height and reach advantage over Boudain, but Boudain has the weight advantage along with years of surviving the jungle. No ground game necessary.

Prediction: Boudain by TKO, 3rd round

185 LBS

James "The Real Deal" Steel (275501) vs. Mario "Maori Boz" Jones (299793)

Steel (17-16-1) needs a win badly. He has been on a steep slump until his last fight showed that he might not be quite done just yet, but still he is going to have to put some wins together to show that he has the tools to fighting a high level. Steel is 3-7 is his past 10 fights, but dispatched Publius Sestius by KO in his last fight. With an excellent gas tank and grappling abilities, Steel needs to be able to finish his fights. His losses mostly come from the hands of the judges, so maybe he needs to change a few details in his game plans. He will stand and strike some, sometimes landing lots of leg kicks to set up attacks. He uses his strength of grappling well, but will need to inflict his will by taking Jones down as he has 10 submission wins. He is facing another fighter who had seen a recent slump, but has since rebounded with the EFC and now is 3-1 in his past 4 fights. Jones (14-8) has almost a 93% KO/TKO ratio from his 14 wins, and by looking at those fights he reminds me of Wanderlei Silva clone. Possibly a cuban boxer who defected to Canada, but there is no known background information on him so lets just leave it at that. He has incorporated leg strikes into his arsenal, and his leg kicks have buckled a few opponents in the past. Jones will need to keep this fight standing and not allow Steel to use his bread and butter. Jones does have a brown belt in jiu jitsu, so he needs to game plan his defense in case he finds himself underneath "The Real Deal".

Size and reach of these fighters should not play a huge factor, what does is how they will execute the game plans.

Prediction: Jones by TKO

135 LBS

Paul "G" Hewitt (289810) vs. William "The Prince" Fidnhasieunch (312359)

Hewitt (22-11) will be making his EFC debut as he is on a 3 fight win streak. He has a KO/TKO ration of 86%, and loves to keep the fight standing. Hewitt is a former Island Season Tournament semi finalists, but he has failed twice in championship fights. He will look to change this habit and make a case for himself by taking on former 3 time TGC 145 LB Champion Findnhasieunch. Known as "The Prince", William (18-8) has some advantages over his opponent. First he is younger, second he has championship experience, third he has won 8 of his fights by submission as he has a purple belt in bjj, while Hewitt does some wrestling but is still a novice white belt. This is where the fight should end up if you are "The Prince". Hewitt will need to have the best possible takedown defense and wrestling he can to stay upright while "The Prince" looks to extend his submission victories.

Prediction: Findnhasieunch by Sub, D'arce choke

135 LBS

Takumi Sagaki (320352) vs. Connor "Chameleon" Joieson (327209)

Sagaki (10-3) is a former Island Champion, who just lost a EFC title with a split decision loss to Samak Ruenroeng (315208). He will look to rebound and make his way back into title contention against Joieson (4-8) who is 1-8 in his past 9 fights. Sagaki has a black belt in bjj and is evident in his win percentage as he hold 7 submission victories. He has a solid game standing, where he uses his legs to attack the legs and bodies of his opponents before he off sets their balance and takes them down to the ground. A few years older than Joieson, they are virtually identical in height and weight. "The Chameleon" Joieson tries to hide his approach in his fights, but the nickname does him no service, as he almost entirely neglects to engage in any meaningful stand up. He has shown to be one dimensional and his opponents know it, if he can do something to change up his gameplan he could possibly catch them off guard. I see two outcomes as far as how the fight plays out, 1. Sagaki could keep the fight standing and use his strikes and leg kicks to batter his unsuspecting opponent, or 2. Sagaki welcome the ground fight and goes down willingly to show off his black belt. Option 2 is the only chance for Joieson.

Prediction: Sagaki by KO

135 LBS

Demetrious "DJ" Jorgensen (285130) vs. Santana Blaze (285240)

A fight between 37 year olds, Jorgensen (16-14) is smaller in size and has the advantage of a lower center of gravity. He has the skill advantage with wrestling and jiu jitsu over Blaze but has 1 submission win in his 16. He prefers to beat the living shit out of people, and when asked about using more submissions his response was, "Why go for a submission, when I can hit them in the ear? They hate that shit!". Jorgensen has a granite chin so he is willing to stand in the pocket some or take some hits along the way to get his opponents down to the ground. Blaze (18-12-2) has been inconsistent as of late, alternating losses, wins, with a few draws. He is looking for his 1st EFC victory against "DJ". Blaze has better primaries in the stand up and spends a lot of his time trying for a sweet combination with a kick or two thrown into it. Blaze will need to adjust himself and time his combinations and kicks a little better, maybe less aggression will give him better results. Blaze has had show ability to land some big punches so the KO is always there. This fight could be determined more by physical abilities, who has the best speed and strength as opposed to aggression or counter game plan. This should be a war.

Prediction: Blaze by TKO, crazy punch

The top 5 fights are predicted and broken down by yours truly, although it will always be better for you to see these fights in action. If your in New York, buy some tickets, invite your friends, drink some beer, and buy a shirt from the Bongol stand and enjoy your Saturday night! These fights are gonna deliver!

*Loogie walks into the post-event media conference...*

"Hey, hey folks! What's up baby!" *waves to what he believes are all his fans*

"Yeah man, so, like, you like that shit? Yeah you do, dontcha? What's that, did I know it was going to go different than my last fight? Well, ya know, last fight...man, I gotta tell ya, my trainers kept telling me I should work on some ground shit and all...but I was like, "f'da ground man!"...and yeah, Dheeb, he blasted me for it. Got me on the ground, started poundin' on me, and I kinda froze up and panicked ya know? I wasn't prepared at all, and that's all on me biscuit, ya know what I mean?

Oh, so what was different this time against Jamal Brown? Well, first...yeah man, Brown's a good dude. He's a lot like me man, he came into the game later in life like me, hasn't got a ton of pro experience either...but yeah man, apparently he likes to roll around with dudes on the ground too like Dheeb does. But man, after what happened last time, no way man, wasn't gonna go out like that shit again! What was that that that Bush dude said?...something like, "Fool me once, shame one you, fool me twice...ah hell, ya can't f'ing let that shit happen again!". So yeah man, my trainers said, "you wanna work on some ground shit Loog?" and I was like, "F' yeah, is it gonna keep me from taking a bad ass beat down again?!? Then sign me the f' up man!" So yeah, we did, we worked on it a little bit, and ya know man, I ain't great down there, but I was ready to try to keep it from getting outa hand, and that's what I did. Brown got me down once...but he tried that same shit Dheeb did, and I stuffed that shit...then, ref stood us up, and I went back to doing what we do like, ya know? Putting a f'ing beat down on him!

And ya know what? This friggin' conference is beat too, just like Brown. I'm out!"

*drops the mic and walks out like he's some sorta big shit and not the chump he really is...*

EFC Dheeb vs Stanky (915437)

HAYASHI'S LOUNGE, NEW YORK CITY

BONGOL BRAND ($50 for all design) (5553)

Welcome to the Big Apple where we have another mma event put on by Empire! We have had some great events so far as we will have some well known veterans and young talent ready to show the fans what they can do. We will breakdown and analyze the top fights on the card this evening.

MAIN EVENT 170 LBS

Waleed "Wolf" Dheeb (333801) vs. Franky Stanky (328475)

Dheeb (7-3) is on a two fight win streak and has some dangerous ground n pound skills where his opponents feel 75% of all his strikes on the ground and have resulted in 6 KO victories. The size and weight of each will be a non factor as they both equally size up nicely. Stanky (11-3) loves to fight in the clinch and doesn't like to go to the ground much. He has a great connection rate in the clinch and also has 7 KO's from his thai game. He will have to maintain the clinch and keep Dheeb from taking him to the ground, and if he can successfully do this Stanky will have the advantage the longer the fight goes on. For Dheeb, the ground fight is a must and depends completely upon it.

Prediction: Dheeb by TKO, ground n pound

135 LBS TITLE FIGHT

Samak Ruenroeng (315208) vs. Rad "Mothafuckin" Dood (297827)

The champion Samak Ruenroeng will be making his 1st defense of the title at EFC. He took out Takumi Sagaki for the title with a razor thin split decision. Some thought that a rematch would take place, but Sagaki's team disgusted with the American judges opted to go back to Japan for awhile so a new challenger has arrived with 35 year old Rad Dood. Samak will look to impress more than the judges this time and solidify that he deserves the title out right without any doubts. Samak (14-7-1) has won 6 of his past 7 fights, and at 24 years old is about to enter the prime of his career. He boasts a fantastic amount of cardio and wrestling ability were if he doesn't win by KO, he will control the fight pace and outwork his opponents to get the decision. He is unbelievably versatile and has a lot of skills and techniques in his arsenal including kicks and clinch striking. Although he has a brown belt in jiu jitsu, its mostly for defensive purposes as he does not rely upon it to end fights. Dood (12-10-1) will test the champion some on the feet, but mainly to get the opportunity for a clinch or a takedown. Expect Dood as black belt in jiu jitsu and winner of 7 fights by submission to get Samak on the ground where he has the advantage. Dood, as a traveled and hardened veteran was once a champion in Club Street Wars promotion, but has since has some hard times and just recently went on a two fight streak on the regional quick fight circuit. This is Dood's opportunity for a title and a 3rd straight victory, believe me he will go all out and Samak will need to take him seriously.

Prediction: Ruenroeng by TKO

135 LBS

William Blake (250930) vs. Barack Obama (259181)

Two aging warriors will face off as a pair of 35 year olds clash on the main card here at EFC. Blake defeated Obama twice back in 2015, and this is the rubber match more for redemption for Obama than for Blake. Blake (33-16-2) will be the shorter fighter and is insanely flexible with world class boxing skills. His main style though is more of a brawling grinder, that loves to give punishment on the ground and work for submissions. Being the smaller fighter in most cases is a disadvantage with the stand up, so he must find a way to get inside close on his opponent and strike where he can also grapple and take them down. He defeated Obama by a rear naked choke and by decision previously. Blake is also a muti time champion from several past promotions and at one time was ranked 3rd in the world in his weight class. Obama (28-28-1) is wanting redemption. He has all the tools available to get the win, its just sometimes he has bad luck. With the sizeable reach and height advantage he could play the stand up fight game at all costs and keep the smaller Blake away from him. In the past Obama has used his grappling skills as he has 15 wins by submission, but losing out twice against Blake maybe he will change up his plan.

Prediction: Blake by TKO, ground n pound, Obama has some early success, but Blake finishes it on the ground.

265+ LBS

DJ Augie (275373) vs. Ken "Rockstar" Tanaka (284763)

Augie (14-9) is a serviceable veteran looking for an opportunity to get his mma career back on path. A 7-4 record with grappling matches and a black belt, means he can definitely fight on the ground, but his mma game has been a roller coaster as he snapped a 3 fight losing streak to win his last fight on the regional circuit. Augie likes to mix it up and scrap, but ultimately gets his opponents down where he can ground n pound and put his jiu jitsu on display. Tanaka (13-9) is the larger of the two and fights mainly with stand up wanting to avoid the ground fight. He has won all of his fights by KO/TKO and also lost 8 of his 9 in the same fashion. Living by the fist and ultimately losing by the same token. This fight should remain on the feet and away from the clinch for Tanaka to keep Augie from getting takedowns. Augie should avoid going into exchanges and pick and choose his strikes to get ahold of Tanaka.

Prediction: Tanaka by TKO

265 LBS

Sam Jetstrean (255532) vs. Lennart "Läskige" Lennartsson (297102)

Jetstrean (14-6) will look to strike and kick Lennart into submission. He owns almost 93% KO ration of his wins and will look to add to that number. He employs kicks well and has heavy belief that his hand speed and power is better than yours. He is currently riding a two fight win streak and looking to build his hype for a possible heavyweight title fight after he takes care of business with Lennartsson. Lennart ( 13-12) is 6 years younger than Jetstrean and has potential in elite boxing and wrestling primaries, but has been disappointing nonetheless as he has only won 5 fights of his past 16 and if he fails in this one it could be retirement for him. He has faced some tough competition in the past to his credit and at one time was on a 7 fight win streak and then the wheels came off. His biggest win of his career was earlier this year when he defeated Ray Stuckey by tko, but since has proven ineffective. Lennartsson has lost split between KO's, Subs, and Decisions with his only formula for success coming in the stand up. Maybe a different game plan should be implemented against Jetstrean in hopes of resurrecting his career.

Prediction: Jetstrean by Decision

There you have it folks, the top fights of the New York Card and the analysis of each match up. Empire FC is a growing organization looking to give veterans and new fighters the chance at the big time and to give the fans something to crave in the world of mixed martial arts!

EFC Irvin vs Maturov (915707)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/15423657121542363250-picsay.jpg

HAYASHI'S LOUNGE MONTREAL, CANADA

NOV 24, 2018

SPONSORED BY: BONGOL BRAND

Welcome to Hayashi's Lounge in the New Orleans of the North in beautiful Montreal, Quebec. We have a featherweight championship fight of great magnitude and some top challengers facing off for future title rights in the EFC tonight. Lets get a look at the top 5 fights of this evenings event and get you all ready for the Empire.

Main Event

170 LBS

Paul "Puma" Irvin (295514) vs. Boris Matusov (330414)

Irvin (14-10) is the older fighter that has more experience, but will this add up to enough to face a young, talented, and very hungry fighter in Matusov? "Puma" will need to pounce on this opportunity and secure a victory in hopes of a title shot in the future and it seems as if he will need to have a good game plan in order to secure this win. Irvin is 3-4 in grappling and has all 14 wins in mma by submission. He has a better advantage in his stand up than the younger Matusov, but it seems he is determined to grapple. If he truly wants to give his opponent a run for his money he will need to set up a good striking plan and counter Matusov and use his ground game as his best defense to stay upright, but if his pride is too much for him expect a ground chess game to ensue. For Matusov (8-4) he has much better wrestling and quickness on his side. Matusov fought less than two weeks ago where he submitted John Miller with a triangle and he experienced no injuries which allowed him to be clear for this contest. Irvin's debut in EFC is a tough one, but a good match up for both as Matusov will get what he asked for.

Prediction: Matusov by Submission, Kneebar

145 LBS Title Fight

Kristof "Cannibal" Sienly (260427) vs. Tyaf Daeland "Pacquiao" Puno (255969)

Sienly (23-9-1) defended his EFC title less than two weeks ago with an exciting fight that ended Tusing Pocc's chances as he was finished with a head kick KO. Sienly has a wonderful record and has held several titles in his career and now looks to make his 2nd title defense against a very tough veteran in Puno who is coming over after a disheartened final 3 fights in the CEC promotion. Sienly has been on a tear as of late, scoring knockouts with punches, kicks, and flying knees and he looks to continue with a game Puno. Tyaf Puno (15-8) is more superior in total primaries than Sienly and has been extremely popular and has a great reputation among mma fans around the world. Showcasing his skills in a variety of contests ranging from kickboxing to grappling, he has tried to show he is a true martial artist of this generation. Puno is the taller fighter with a better reach than Sienly and he must use this and not get caught into a wild brawl, which Sienly will look to do to throw him off his game. Puno has elite wrestling, but has lost half of his losses due to submissions, which is where Sienly may take advantage if Puno is not careful. This is a wonderful fight and could solidify Sienly's reign as one of the promotion's top fighters or it could catapult Puno into the limelight once again.

Prediction: A hard decision to make, but Puno should be favored. Sienly by Submission. Fight is great on feet, then someone slips...

265 LBS

Charles "The DeKalb Ripper" Bronson (282974) vs. Simon "The Holy" Vale (258550)

Big heavies are about to slam it down. Most people love watching the big guys go at it as they make the biggest noise when they fall. I have a feeling that this fight may be a FOTN candidate just because the ending will most likely result in a violent finish. Bronson (15-9) is making his 3rd appearance for EFC, after splitting his two fights he looks to win his second straight and work his way up the ladder. Bronson is a stand up guy....literally. He loves to strike, set up combinations and fight with dirty boxing. He is not much of a kicker, but occasionally throws a few to keep his opponents guessing. He likes to avoid the wrestling and ground game as much as possible although he sports a brown belt in bjj. Vale (21-22) after losing 5 in a row has won his past 2 fights and makes his EFC debut tonight. Vale is also a striker, but likes to use more attacks from his legs and knees than Bronson. The end is getting near for Vale and he knows this final push may be his last for a championship, expect Vale to give all he's got in stopping Bronson.

Prediction: Bronson by TKO, younger Bronson too much by 3rd round for the veteran Vale.

185 LBS

"The Android" Nick Sins (296441) vs. Chinggis Khaan (282607)

Sins (10-3) has won 5 of his past 6 fights and is making his debut in EFC tonight against Khaan. Sins was a kickboxing crossover who has developed a great wrestling game to keep his fights on the feet where he believes his training in thai is his advantage. Sins loves to head punch and loves to kick the hell out of opponents legs, he has had the most trouble though not finishing opponents and letting the fights go into the hands of the judges, albeit the nods have ended up in his favor. Khaan (13-14) has been sort of a traveling salesman bringing a couple wins back to back and then going on long losing streaks. His 1st fight in EFC ended up in a NC, because the aging Wooden Pencil forgot to sharpen his weight and he missed weight limit. Khaan is a wild striker and he has played the game and seems to be content with scoring some cool wins as well as losing them just as much. His fighting style reminds me of Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett as he loves to dish it, but leaving himself too wide open in exchanges. Khaan will need his best game plan to date if he wishes to spoil the debut of a widely touted Sins.

Prediction: Sins by KO, wild fight but Khaan swings too widely and gets an uppercut from hell.

145 LBS

Tusing Pocc (288308) vs. Leto "The Steel Shadow" Camille (328069)

Pocc (16-18-1) lost the title to Sienly by a head kick ko about 2 weeks ago and for some reason he is cleared by the doctors for this fight, it must be because its in Canada. Pocc will look to regain his momentum as he had been on a 3 fight win streak before his debut and title defeat. Pocc is a ground specialist and will look to go back to this to defeat Camille. Pocc is 15 years older than Camille and he will look to teach the youngster a lesson in the ground game. Camille (6-3) is looking to make a statement in this fight, or he could be shaking his head and think why did he take it. If Camille wants to win, he will have to end this fight in the 1st round and use his exceptional boxing skill to aggressively attack Pocc before he can get started on his own plan. He should aim for complete damage and aggression, for the longer this fight will go the better the chance for Pocc to get the fight down where Camille has lost 3 of his 4 fights by submission, and even though he has a blue belt in jiu jitsu, it will be no match in mma no gi with a brown belt veteran.

Prediction: Pocc by Submission, Straight Foot Lock.

There you have it folks, Mike Doldberg and I have analyzed and sorted out our expertise to give you a breakdown of each matchup. A title fight and several great match ups are going to happen in Montreal tonight! Make sure to check back and see how well we predicted the fights!
