  1. lol, I'm no longer a step father but I am still alive. -not crying-
  2. He already acknowledged them many times. Now he just doesn't answer. He's straight up said, it is what it is, at this point and if you don't like it, don't play it. I mean, I'm paraphrasing but you get what I mean. You were in that thread a couple years ago as well. He doesn't care about the game and hasn't for years, he's content with the peanuts it spits out at him occasionally and as long as people keep paying for it things will stay as they are. The sadder truth is the day it stops making money isn't the day he gets serious about anything. It's the day the game is gone. I hope I'm not raining on anyone's hope as I'm just a negative skeptic who doesn't play anymore at this point but to me, that's the obvious reality of the true state of the game and I feel like most have come to terms with that. The only reason why this game is still here is because it ended up with a small but dedicated player base who have somehow remained passionate for over a decade and kept it alive. I wish I was still one of those people and probably still would be if not for major problems in my personal life over the last few years
  3. You could argue that the current state of the game is because of lack of changes, fixes and improvements. In fact, I would say that is by far the main reason. The game is to unfriendly to new users because of set up time and too tedious for most who managed to figure the first out to stick around long term. Quality of life and small fixes at least fixes that the second problem. I know for me personally, having to set my training for 20+ fighters over and over and over and then having to switch all the trainers alone has only gotten more and more tedious over the years to the point where I would put it off more and more. I know many who are still active are probably fine with it but for me personally, that's part of me being burnt out. It's not just training, it's being an org owner as you are and as mentioned, things like sending out sponsorships... All the things have elements that take 20 times longer EASILY then the should. Things that get tedious for a lot of people. Like being an org owner and having 30 tabs open and copy and pasting way too much when there is a simple fix than can change that. There are so many tiny things that someone with basic script knowledge could add or even a beginner could Google how to do(like a checkbox) and get done. If quality and quality of life didn't change bottom lines, Amazon wouldn't be as big as it is now.
  4. Yes it's lack of interest, which does correlate with real life but at the same time this is an alternate reality simulation game. It would be nice to have at least a fake world where kickboxing isn't fucked. Lack of interest is a big reason but you have to consider why that is. It's the lack of orgs which is due to lack of market along with the million broken things that go along with it. Kickboxing cannot generate PPV money like MMA orgs can, I already proved this by having every top kickboxer in the game and running then on PPV with enough hype where it should of generated around the same money a top MMA PPV org generated after a few events. The only time I made a decent chunk of change was with the fighters who also had good MMA hype on the card. Mike never figured out why I believe and stopped answering me eventually. My memory could be failing me tho but I am pretty sure I never got a start answer but as said above, I'm 100% sure kickboxing hype isn't being calculated and instead it's MMA hype still. This isn't the reason kickboxing it's a mess. It's a mess because there is many things that need to be fixed separated from MMA like records being added together, need of KT quick fights and TWGC format(which would go a lot looong way it terms of casual interest) other things mentioned here and small things that I petitioned to get fixed before that. KT will never be big in the game, even with all the improvements and fixes that will never happen, I mean even marketing my ass off and PMing most players in the game that I knew I barely had enough kickboxers to have full divisions which none of the spiritual successor No 1 KT orgs had. Even then the same title fights ended up being run back every 2-4 because of lack of bodies. At least adding KQFC and TWKC(lul) would help generate new kickboxers but those ideas where floated for years when I was around and I've been gone for a year and a half apparently. In the end, there is a ton of small fixes that need to be done and simple quality of life add ons that need to be implemented in the main part of the game that should take priority over kickboxing anyway. Has any of the training quality of life suggestions ever been implemented that makes setting training for 20 fighters and a frozen or whatever trainers easier? Like you know... The Select All button for trainers (and fighters) that would save sooooo much tedious clicking?
  5. The struggle of trying to stay excited about a browser game that hasn't had any real updates for 10ish years. Or whenever the Island started. Even small quality of life additions and game balancing spend years in the suggestions box before being implemented, if ever. It is what it is at this point.
  6. How good are those condoms you can get with a couple quarters in some truck stops from a brand you've never heard of before?
  7. Doesn't help that the game has been in a stagnant state of limbo, with a slow decline of new users and pretty much just multis keeping the game alive.
  8. What's going on lads? I've decided to make a somehwat small return to the world of MMATycoon... I have no VIP days left however and i've put 1.5 million up for 6 months of VIP. If anyone could help me out with that... that would be sublime.
  9. I've been thinking about this for awhile... Really a bunch of different ideas i've been throwing around out there. Obviously, as some know, I have too much going on in my personal life to make a permanent return to running an org. As much as I would love to I know there's gonna be weeks where things snowball for me and this game will be pushed to the back of my mind. However, my interest in developing the KT side of the game has never waned... I've been throwing out ideas like Non-org associated Kickboxing Grand Prix - This one is a lot more simple than the net... Basically just fishing for interest here. If I were to create a KT Grand Prix org and run tournaments once every three months or so... What would the interest be? Would it be open weight or based off a few weight divisions? Would it be Open or ID restricted? Doing these periodically would give me the freedom to work on one when things are not so hectic and then wait awhile until the next one when things get rough. Basically it would be an 8 or 16 fight tournament based on the interest and if it's division based or open weight, there would be write ups for each round, a loser's bracket and substantial prizes for the winner(i'm thinking 1 million to the winning manager's account atm and 500k to the runner up, third place... get's a coupon to Arbys or something idk). When each tournament concludes... Everyone can go back to their MMA or KT orgs and I will hibernate for a minimum of maybe three months. That's a year in-game so it can be considered a yearly tournament like K1. If I can get Syn Kickboxing and 8 Limbs on board to allow their fighters to compete, as well as the big MMA orgs... Then this could be the first and only time in the history of the game that potentially top MMA fighters and KT fighters end up in the same tournament. To me at least... Bragging rights and the storyline aspect of it is the most interesting reason to do this and hopefully the top managers feel the same and are willing to give it a try. It really doesn't hurt a top P4P MMA fighter to lose a KT fight... but vice versa... If a top 100 MMA fighter beats the P4P KT fighter(and vice versa)... the bragging rights in-character and out would be well worth it. Now the biggest hurdle in the past was MMA orgs not wanting their top guys gone for a extended period of time but that was having fighters compete in kickboxing frequently... if we're talking about a single tournament... with 3-4 rounds... then that is a month tops(especially if Mike erases the injuries for each bout to make this happen) which isn't really that bad for one time thing(for most fighters).
  10. It should also cost more energy for spamming clinch attempts and guard pulling but i'm pretty sure both unrealistically cost any energy at all(I know clinch attempts for sure doesn't cost enough energy).
  11. This is quickly becoming an "I'm not touching that one with a 10 foot pole" type of debates now lol. Obviously killing 30+ women like Ted Bundy did and doing horrific things to their bodies afterward is definitely worse than the Floyd case. But that is just the act itself, one is a worldwide social issue and the other... Well, no one who kills 30 white women is getting away with it. The social issue here(and how fresh it is, most of the famous serial killers are from the 60s-90s) is what actually makes the Chauvin and Floyd names worse. No one is getting triggered by having to fight John Wayne Gacy. That being said, everyone is wayy to sensitive nowadays it's.. just so sad. If you're getting emotional about a fighter's name on a obscure MMA browser game... I suggest counseling. Camara though, since it's his thread... Should of been banned 10x over though so who cares what the reason was. The owner warned him, he did it again... that's it.
  12. Still no accept... or Grumpy Rabid declined. Typical... Notorious fight picker.
  13. I watch anime and read manga both... and a few Webtoons as most are trash. I've completely read... Hunter x Hunter Berserk (not finished) Fullmetal Alchemist Tower of God(Webtoon and not finished) Kubera (Webtoon and not finished) Tokyo Ghoul Tokyo Ghoul Re: (both mangas are better than the trash the anime became after season 1) Bleach One Piece Naruto Attack on Titan up until where the final season would begin I know there is more that I have completely read and some I still need to.
  14. This deserves a 7 year bump purely because... it's so relevant 7 years later that it's kinda funny... and sad.
  15. OMG RKJHEBJKVEB EVERYONE LOOK!!! Camara's powerful backers have finally arrived. They gon' start drop all the moneys on the hoes and shovels and a-a-nd they gon' sit down with Mike and let him know what's up. This truly is a historic day. Some will question whether this Frenz is truly a backer... or even a bottom... Some may question the timing and say, oh this is obviously Camara... But they're just skeptics! He has tons of friends and backers and his girlfriend and car are just one generic google search away. Not because they're fake... They're just famous. Like Jesus, Camara is gonna have a re-erection... cause teenagers typically get these... it's part of puberty. What was I talking about again? Oh right, backers!! They make it rain. Camara is an adult successful player and who trains and travels at the same time, all the time, 50% of the time. He won't stand for this... nor will his bottoms... I mean backers.
