WarMachine Posted June 18, 2017 Report Share Posted June 18, 2017 Just watched the Covington v Kim fight and I've never seen Covington fight before so know nothing about him but I was impressed. Seems to be a great wrestler, smart and confident. Trains in a good team and is in a division that is wide open in terms of big fights. Anyone know much about him and is he a real contender to be watching out for ? He defo got a fan out of me. JLP Posted June 18, 2017 Report Share Posted June 18, 2017 I've been on the Covington bandwagon since his debut and he has improved an incredible amount since then. He's a great athlete, one of the best wrestlers at WW, and seems to have high fight IQ (I dont hate on guys too much for getting guillotined). I'd compare him to a better version of Weidman, but with out the good pop in his hands. I'd put him one notch below Usman as a guy I could see winning the belt in the next year or two.
