  1. I am looking for a good nutrition partner for my active Gym. We are financially stable and all loans paid off. In return I will help promote your company. I am the writer for DFL, Revolution Island and a few others. Combat Center (3865)
  2. DUEL#17 Myles vs Hunter 2 Grey Worm versus Azadshatru Singh With the pressure of coming off of mult-fight losing streak, both of these Warriors felt the pressure of needing the victory. Singh showed his fight experience by sprawling 12 out of 13 takedown attempts by Worm. Once Worm scored the takedown he was able to put his Black Belt Jujitsu skills on display. With Careful transitions within the second round he was able to Tangle his opponents limb and locked up a Kimura. **** Grey Worm: R2 Submission (Kimura) **** Nir Sosa versus Sparring Fighter 1 As predicted, this fight was on of the top bouts of the night. Both men went toe to toe using every tool within their arsenal to try and defeat each other. Neither men can go home and say that they did not do everything in their power to win, they left it all in the cage and the fans are appreciative. Sosa was able to neutralize Fighter 1 more, using his experience as a MMA veteran. **** Nir Sosa: Unanimous Decision **** Parker Phoenix versus Takashi Kadota Wow! is all I can say to describe this bout. DFL newcomer Phoenix can really stand and bang! Takishi Kadota came into this fight thinking he would welcome the newly signed fighter by embarrassingly beating him at his own strength. Avoiding the ground, both fight stood toe to toe for the majority of the competition. Man-oh-man, can Phoenix really put on a display of superior striking. When it was all said and done, Phoenix landed 28 significant head strikes compared to his opponents 2. **** Parker Phoenix: Unanimous Decision Bobby Tupper versus Rahkim Abdullah Though he scored eight successful takedowns, Rahkim Abdullah had a tough night against veteran Bobby Tupper. Bobby was able to scramble back to his feet after hitting the mat and wear his opponent down. By the third round, Abdullah was too tired to shoot and stood with the experienced striker. The excellent game plan implemented by Tupper's Coaches, was nothing less then pure genius. **** Bobby Tupper: Unanimous Decision **** Amir Lohan versus Jarni Kutsoo Ladies and Gentlemen, this match up right here is the purest example of 'believe in yourself'. Kutsoo, as many of you fight fans know, is probably one of the best BJJ Black Belts in the World. His skill set completely eclipsed his challenger Amir Lohan. Or so we thought. Lohan walked into the cage, forced the Black Belt to the mat and submitted him in under 40 seconds. Yeah you heard it correctly, the Brown Belt submitted the World Famous Black Belt in under 40 seconds. Message received Amir Lohan, we heard you loud and clear. **** AMir Lohan: R1 Submission (Triangle) **** Steve Pick versus Slade Wilson Slade Wilson didn't look like his normal self coming into this bout. He was completely out-matched by the Submission Expert, finding himself in one bad position after another. Steve Pick was able to finish his opponent. What left a bad taste in the fans' mouths was what was said by Slade Wilson after the bout. Wilson admitted to fighting on multiple injuries that made his performance lack serious desire. **** Steve Pick: R1 KO (Punches) **** Lyon Gaultier versus Dominic Tattum If we were to score the fight ourselves, we would see an extremely lopsided fight. Lyon Gaultier was able to land 65 overall strikes flush on opponent Dominic Tattum, who only found success with 13 strikes landing. Gaultier was able to dominate this very dangerous opponent proving to DFL that he may be ready for Gold. **** Lyon Gaultier: Unanimous Decision **** Edwin Jordan versus Rashad Wilkinson This fight I believe should have hit the Judges table, it could have gone either way if it had. Not many fans had not shown great interest in this match-up initially, but once the bell sounded their eyes were glued. Such a back-and-forth battle between these two veteran made for great entertainment. Their was Boxing, Wrestling, Jujitsu, Muay Thai; I mean this fight had it all. Towards the end Jordan did find success in his ground and pound, especially with the elbow that became the beginning of the end. I agree with many of the fans when they say that everyone believes it was stopped too early. This should have went the distance! **** Edwin Jordan: R3 TKO (Strikes) Tommy Mayor versus Rafael Cortez Cortez was outclassed on his feet in this bout by Tommy Mayor. Not because he isn't as good, but because he suffered a nasty cut from a right hand almost immediately. Only seconds later Tommy Mayor was able to open the cut up more, rendering his dangerous opponent nearly blind. Even when Cortez was knocked down; he was willing to take the fight to the mat where he could make up some of the points lost and get his injury doctored in between rounds. Mayor signaled the referee to stand his opponent. The next strike landed its way into the record book as one of the most brutal head kicks I've seen in years. **** Tommy Mayor: R1 KO (Head kick) Justin Hunter versus Darren Myles I think that it is officially been settled. WE HAVE A NEW LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION! Justin Hunter takes the Title back home and puts it back above his mantle where it previously proudly hung. Justin may have talked a lot of trash prior to this event but he backed up every word. Only thing left is a rubber match. Let's keep our fingers crossed. **** Justin Hunter: R1 Submission (Guillotine) **** NEW LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION
  3. What exactly is TWGC and how do I get my fighter to sign up? From what I can see, it is a Grappling Tournament. I would very much like to be apart of that. What are the qualifications?
  4. The maiden voyage for The Asylums' first ever MMA event has finally come to an end. Dreams were shattered and Champions were crowned. Asylum 1 offered six bouts including two open Title fights. Now its time to go over the winners and what we see for the future! First fight of the night featured 155 LB SFC Champion Joey "JJ" James against Boxing guru Stephen "Styme" Kaufman. The fight went in favor of veteran James defeating Kaufman by way of first round Submission (Triangle). This marks the 4th consecutive submission loss for the striker, his most recent only two days prior to James. Maybe its time to consider an exclusive KT career as he initially intended. ** Joey "JJ" James: R1 Submission (Triangle) Middleweight fighter Jim "Sterile" Bob had suffered difficulties during weight-cut and was unable to compete ruling the bout a No Contest. Marty Hughley was very upset not being able to make his professional debut and call for a new fight as soon as possible. The Asylum administration staff agreed to accommodate these demands due to the circumstances. ** NO CONTEST ** Moving on we found a very entertaining match-up between Boxer Richie "Dinkles" Wrinkles and Muay Thai specialist William Otero "Mr.Pain" Otero. This fight was probably one of the most exciting bouts of the night. These two warriors fought with nonstop action from bell to bell. When all was said and done the Judges favored the pressure and accuracy of Richie "Dinkles" Wrinkles scoring the bout 30 - 26. Otero doesn't agree with the Judges decisions and vows to come back and defeat the striker. ** Richie "Dinkles" Wrinkles: Unanimous Decision Benjamin "Mr.Buttons" Button makes his debut against Clinch fighter Herpes Henry Number Nine. Though the fight first looked as though Herpes Henry Number Nine had the win in the bag with successful clinch strikes. Button found a hole in the veterans game plan when he took him to the canvas. There were plenty of moments where it seemed that Herpes Henry Number Nine was close to damaging Benjamin to the point of defeat. Henry was able to score another successful take down and found access to Herpes Henry Number Nine's back as he was attempting to stand, with no hesitation he sunk in the Rear Naked Choke. ** Benjamin "Mr.Buttons" Button: R1 Submission (RNC) The Super Heavyweight Title fight was one of the most entertaining performances of the night! Big "Bad" Bear took on Super Heavyweight Kickboxing icon Stanley "Peter Puffer" Chrome. Right out of the first bell, Bear was able to score a takedown and maintain a dominant position for most of the fight. This was not an easy task. Chrome found was to avoid over 80% of incoming strikes, tiring his large opponent. Near the end of the round Bear was able to find an opening in Chromes guard and was able to land a strong strike, knocking out Chrome for the victory. ** Big "Bad" Bear: R1 KO (Strikes) Our Main Event was the 170 lb Title fight between NCAA Wrestler turned Jujitsu Purple Belt Gary "Goose" Gray against Boxing phenom Joe "The Beast " Tolken. This was the most anticipated fight of the night between these two very diverse fighters. All seemed to be on schedule as Tolken attempted to lock the grappler up in a clinch, which was avoided. Out of no where, Tolken decided to turn the tables and scored with a very impressive takedown. Unfortunately that was the beginning of the end. Gray was able to reverse the infamous striker and gain a dominant top position. Landing significant strikes from top Tolken shocked the fans even more when he attempted a Submission from bottom guard! Though the Submission was foiled, there may be more to Tolken then meets the eye. Once the Submission was broken, Gray was able to land a short punch that placed a cut into his opponents head. With his vision greatly impaired, Gray was able to advance into Full Mount and put his opponent out. Though Gray won the bout it seems as though Tolken was the favorite fighter. Experts did not expect him to find such success on the ground with this NCAA fighter. Many of his fans, myself included, believe if the fight was kept standing that there would be a different Champion today. Unfortunately all we, as fans, can ask for is a rematch. ** Gary "Goose" Gray: R1 KO (Strikes)
  5. For those who are confident and interested in putting your money where your mouth is, Free World Fights Betting Systems has opened up a line for Revolution Islands' October 22nd Event 'We are the Revolution' Don't let your fighters be the only one with something to lose! Show that you believe in them by dropping some cold hard cash!
  6. Only 24 hours left until The Island is once against rocked by two TItle Fights! Revolution Island once against set an action-packed card so intense that I would seriously question you MMA dedication if you miss it! Partnering with Darkness Clothing and coming to you live from the World Famous Hayashi's Lounge we bring to you: We are the Revolution Linking up with Free World Fight Bets, for all your gambling needs! This card may very well become the best event of 2016! Two Titles on the line! Two undefeated Champions! And one Rivalry finally coming to a close! Zhuy Hong vs Billy Garcia 135 lbs When an Organization puts together an Event, especially one as prestigious as Revolution Island, there are a lot of factors that are held with the utmost importance. In my opinion, there is no bout as important then the very first. This is the introductory fight that will set the pace and energy for the rest of the night, so why not make it the Professional Debut? That is exactly what the big-wigs at Revolution Island did! Island Top Team's next generation Muay Thai protege, Zhuy Hong, takes on grappling powerhouse Billy "The Horse" Garcia. Hong may own the edge over Garcia when it comes to a standing battle, but make no mistake, Garcia can do some damage if he gets top position on the mat. So it would seem as though this is going to be a classic striker versus grappler bout, but the 'X' factor in this recipe is that this is both fighters Professional Debut! No one will be more hungry then these two. Excellent pick to set the tone of the night. Frank Dux vs Anthony Jay Bronie 155 lbs Undefeated Dirty-Boxer Frank Dux takes on his own team mate and gifted takedown guru Anthony Jay "A.J.B." Bronie. This fight has "PERSONAL" written all over it. With both fighters training side-by-side out of Island Top Team. Though Dux may seem on paper to be the more effective striker, his counterpart Bronie will know all of his dirty little secrets in his standup game. So no surprises in this bout, I see this going the distance! Andre Galvao vs Anthony Pettis 155 lbs Jujitsu Brown Belt Andre Galvao may be known through out the World of NAGA and AGF as a great Submission Competitor, but in the Cage he is just making a name for himself. Galvao signed with Revolution Island because he wanted a real challenge of his skills, be careful what you wish for young warrior. Across the Cage is former 155 lb Champion "~Showtime~" Anthony Pettis. This is going to be his first fight back since losing his Title against current Champion Kingston Brown. Believe me ladies and gentlemen, this man nothing but hungry. Can Galvao's expert Submission skills secure a Tapout from the former Champ, or will Pettis prove himself as being too much for the young challenger? Brooks Sumner vs Dexter Frazier 205 lbs Coming off of Submission of the Night awarded victor, Brooks Sumner looks to utilize his Purple Belt level Submissions and earn himself another fight bonus. In order for Sumner to get his opponent to Submit, first he has to get him to the ground but the closer he get the more dangerous Frazier becomes. Frazier is not your average competitor, I see him more of a Boxer trapped in a Mixed Martial Artists body. Though he holds a Blue Belt in Jujitsu, Frazier looks for any opportunity to keep his opponent at the end of his jab. With some of the best In-and-Out techniques in MMA today Frazier will not let himself hit the canvas easily, Sumner is going to have to really earn this win. Now who wants it more? Zulu Zulu vs Emmitt Brown Jr 135 lbs "Zulu Boy" Zulu Zulu makes his Revolution Island debut while in the thick of a 3 fight win streak. He may in fact be the most unpredictable fighters to sign with Revolution Island. This Jujitsu White Belt has secured victories by Head Kick KO, fought to the Judges Decision and by Armbar Submission. On the other hand we have Emmitt "Doc" Brown Jr whom sits undefeated within the Revolution Island Promotions. With a two fight win streak on the line, JR has no intentions on letting his erratic opponent control the pace of the fight. He tends to lock him into his death-clinch and delivery some unpredictable punishment of his own. The Bad Guy vs Jamason Brown 265 lbs Fresh off of a two fight streak, The Bad Guy looks to keep the momentum as an undefeated fighter and bring it to the front door of his opponent. With his extensive Muay Thai background, Guy will look to contain the energy of his experienced opponent while dishing out significant damage. Jamason Brown is a highly decorated collegiate wrestler with devastating power in his ground and pound. The proud holder of a KO of the Night Award, Brown will be looking to TKO this Clinch Fighter and hopefully gain a shot at the Title. Mustafa Wagdy vs James Slogan 135 lb **** TITLE FIGHT **** 5-0-0 undefeated 135 lb Champion Mustafa "Waggers" Wagdy lays his Belt on the line against well deserved fellow undefeated striker James "Slug" Slogan. With 5 fights, all wins, all Submission victories, Wagdy faces his toughest challenge in popular Boxing wizard Slogan. Without doubt, Wagdy will have to get his opponent to the mat and work his worthy Jujitsu to impose his will, this may be the only way to defeat Slogan. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Slogan will have to succeed where every other fighter before him has failed and keep the Champion on his feet where he has the unparalleled edge in Stand-up war. This fight in my mind is a literal 50/50 bet. If the fight hits the Canvas the win will go to the Champion Wagdy. If the fight stay standing then the win would go to the challenger. There is one thing for sure, someones '0' has got to go! Brock Lesnar vs Ezekiel Curtis 145 lbs **** TITLE FIGHT **** This is the fight we have all been waiting for, folks! The 145 lb Title is on the line! Current Champion undefeated Submission expert Lesnar takes on Ezekiel Curtis in their highly anticipated rematch. Curtis and Lesnar first met back in September when the 145 lb Title was vacant. Once the bell was sounded, Lesnar controlled the fight using his brute strength and superior speed. The bout lasted only 1:27 of the first round where Lesnar impressively scored a takedown with four submission attempts, one of which being successful and securing the win. The loss humbled Curtis, then on a 5-0-0 win streak. It also released an animal. Since suffering his one and only loss to Lesnar, Curtis has been doubling his training time in the gym and filling in the holes that Brock embarrassingly exposed. Curis bounced back against up and coming striker Dylan "The Head Hunter" Blake and won the KO of the Night Award. Yeah, this kid is hungry for blood. Unfortunately for Brock Lesnar, he is on the menu. We are the Revolution OCTOBER 22, 2016 Hayashi's Lounge located on The Island Be there and Beware!
  7. After a record-setting birth as a Fight Organization, Duel Fight League has become the home for the most exciting bouts. The curse to being a part of one of the most successful fight leagues in world has its challenges. DFL already owns the title for most entertaining and brutal fights, how do we keep our legacy and trail burning bright. Ladies, gentlemen, fighters and managers alike may I proudly introduce Duel Fight Leagues' very own Smack Talk Thread! This a place where our fighters can sling a little dirt at their opponents face. Maybe call for a title shot or two. Let the world what you think of your up and coming fight or even the outcome of one you just had. Don't hold back, let it rip! Nothing racist, we may be Warriors but we still have class.
  8. ASYLUM: an institution for the maintenance and care of the mentally ill, orphans, or other persons requiring specialized assistance. 2. an inviolable refuge, as formerly for criminals and debtors The word Asylum has forever been associated with the criminally insane portrayed as such within movies, songs and books. Now lets step out of the normal locations of the word and step into where it truly belongs, the fight game. A new Fight Organization has risen that promises to embody the concept of rough, tough, insane and eye-opening entertainment. Simply named 'ASYLUM', this organization has hit the ground running and has already scheduled bouts to claim Champions on October 21, 2016 taking place at the Famous New York Micro-Arena. This potentially star-studded League is only in its beginning stages and are currently accepting all requests. Catering at this moment to the new up and coming fighters, each scheduled bout will consist of two of the hungriest fighters still trying to earn a reputation. What better way then to grow with an already growing league? Lets review the Headliners for this event: Our Co-Mainevent is between our big boy warriors, going at it unmercifully for the honor to become the very first ASYLUM 265+ LB Champion. Big "Bad" Bear has his undefeated record threatened by fierce striker Stanley "Peter Puffer" Chrome. This is a classic match-up between talented grappler against talented striker, which as we all know make the most unpredictable fights. Chrome, known for his superhuman-like strength, plans on keeping his opponent standing where he can deliver the most punishment. Bear has plans to force his opponent to the mat where he can, by his name, maul him to TKO victory and remain undefeated in his professional career. For the 170LB Title Joe "The Beast " Tolken takes on Jujitsu Purple Belt Gary "Goose" Gray. Tolken has made a reputation as one of the top Boxers in the sport and plans to land as many accurately deafening shots as he can on his opponent. Across the cage there is a man that prides himself with his Jujitsu capabilities and instinct to find the submission. Gray has been the subject of much discussion when the title 'Catch Submissionist' comes up in Gyms. If he is to have any chance to survive the bombing, which can only be compared to our entry into OIF 1, then he will need to Neutralize to the mat and find a limb. With the beginning so close all we can do is hope for more events that will chill our spine. Not every day that we see the birth of an organization that has the knowledge, experience and the connections to become one of the Top Leagues in the business. Join now or miss the boat. ASYLUM 1 October 21st MICRO-ARENA (NEW YORK) ASYLUM INSANELY ENTERTAINING
  9. What fight leagues need more members? This is more for startup organizations.
  10. I can definetly use some assistance with my account. I have multiple fighters and just opened a Gym. Maybe too much too fast
