QFC hype loss and gain

To bring up again a subject that is endlessly discussed:

Please can we 1) minimise or 2) eliminate all hype increase and decrease from QFC fights.

Not QFC orgs, not QFC tournaments, I'm talking about the one off fights.

I have prospects I want to test fight more but I don't, as I care about my manager rank. Yes we all have this problem, yes some people don't care about their manager rank, yes people claim if you train your guy to 999.99 points you shouldn't have a problem (nonsense in my view); I just don't want my rank to depend on a random test fight where I am looking to see if I have a keeper or if I want to sack him and make another - which is all good $ for Mike.

Any chance of getting this changed?!

Also I am aware some orgs let you have one off fights v your own fighters to help fill a card etc, but I also just want the simple easy basic QFC fight option to be less ... deadly. It takes a while to climb the ranks with good wins over tough opponents, then all your gains can be gone with one QFC loss.

I suppose I understand your point. I do want a group of super humans though. Nothing will stop me ahahahahhahaha!!

I still think the hype hit could be dialled down a bit though. I'm not joking about slowly struggling up the rankings with a few wins here, a loss there, all against good quality opposition managers, and then having to test new prospects and dropping like a stone what with fighting noobs. Often noobs with 25 yr old ground fighters versus my stand up 18 yr olds.

You don't have to tell me about dropping like a stone for testing guys :D

Honestly, I think it is fine. QFC's are meant to be testing grounds, but with little to no hype loss, there is almost 0 risk attached to it. We already have a load of people set their guys up deliberately to lose to test confidence, imagine how many more there will be with reduced risk.

Just to show you, I fell from top 200 to sub 1000 for testing fighters. It is something I expected to get from losing 12 out of 14 fights.

I definitely think you have a point about low level (read new) fighters losing having an undue effect on manager rankings considering how hard it is to win at the top level (not that I have ever fought there). Perhaps a little sensible scaling would be useful.

Or you could try this to save opponent rank

I agree that something is off with the ranking system because if an important win in a top 10 org makes you win around 10 spots and a loss in a qfc makes you lose 40 spots, something is not right...

I think qfc's shouldn't have anything to do with hype or ranking.

Exactamundo!
