  1. SCRAP 4: Santana vs Anderson Hello ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, as always, this your host Sam McCarthy, all mic'd up and ready to bring you the preview of a very special and historic event here at SFC, cause tomorrow night the wait will finally be over, as the shiny new SCRAP FC Light Heavyweight title is set to make a grand entrance into the MMA world, and boy i can't wait to see who would end up being the inaugural SCRAP FC champ. But if you think that's all this event has, then ya'll are in for a big surprise my friends, cause the talent on show tomorrow is definitely gonna be worth the entry fee, you don't believe me? Well, let's take a closer look at the matchups so you can decide for yourself then... UNDERCARD BOUTS 1) Asher Smif (0-2) vs Yago Ramos (2-3) {Middleweight Bout [185 LBS]} Prediction: Yago Ramos wins via TKO (Round 2) 2) Fred Schneider (0-0-1) vs Rocko Yajaw (0-0-1) {Super Heavyweight [265+ LBS]} Prediction: This is a grudge match of epic proportions to see who goes through to the next round in the tourney, so i think Rocko Yajaw wins via Unanimous Decision 3) "Jonesmann" Jones Anderson (2-1) vs Nikolai Ignatiev (2-0) {Middleweight Bout [185 LBS]} Prediction: Nikolai Ignatiev wins via TKO (Round 3) 4) Danielos "Pawlik" Tiger (9-15) vs Gabriel Lauzier (6-6) {Middleweight Bout [185 LBS]} Prediction: Gabriel Lauzier wins via TKO (Round 3) 5) Cavalho Atunes (6-3) vs "Jarl" Tobias Jorgensen (2-4) {Middleweight Bout [185 LBS]} Prediction: Tobias Jorgensen wins via KO (Round 2) MAIN CARD With the rookie's time in the limelight finally over and done with, it's time for the big boys, attracting the big crowds and getting the big bucks to step into the middle of the cage and put on a show, so let's not waste anymore time and see what we have in store for ya tomorrow night... 6) Bo "Hulk" Hogan (6-5) vs Turner "Buzz" Meeks (6-10) {Light Heavyweight Bout [205 LBS]} Starting off our main card, we have a very interesting looking matchup amongst two relative veterans of the sport, who are coming into this bout off the back of pretty damning form off late, and with both of them not used to going the full distance and preferring to either finish off or get finished off by their opponents, this one is a bout sure to bring some entertainment to all our loyal fans. Now Bo Hogan is a grappler and a wrestler, who after starting off his career with some relative success, like being involved in a title fight over at (Money Promotions) off the back of 3 successive wins, has found himself and his career stagnating since then... but after 3 successive losses to follow up the failed title challenge, he finally seems to have got that mojo back with a pretty dominant victory in his last ever fight at Money Promotions and therefore will be hoping to continue that minute winning streak to mark his SCRAP FC debut in style, and send out a clear signal to the rest of the division, that he is not here to mess about. But standing in his way and trying to send a message of his own will be a Muay Thai specialist in Tuner Meeks, who let's be honest, is going through a rough time in his MMA career at the moment. I mean it wasn't as if he was anything brilliant in the first place, but he was still winning a fair few in the beginning phase of his career, but ever since he signed with Highland, his abilities seems to have nosedived and his confidence seems to have fallen off a cliff. But nonetheless, he'll no doubt try his level best to win this bout, not just to stop the rotten losing streak he's on currently, but to remind himself how good a fighter he can actually be. Hence if it were me, i'd not wanna miss this bout, cause a wounded hungry wolf, is a hard challenge to deal with. Prediction: Bo Hogan wins via Submission (Round 2) 7) Axl "The Axe Hammer" Cailean (8-2) vs Emilio Ortega (2-2) {Middleweight Bout [185 LBS]} So next up we have yet another classic Striker vs Grappler matchup between two guys whose confidence levels and experience levels are probably at different ends of the spectrum, but with both coming into this bout after suffering pretty brutal and embarrassing loses, expect some fireworks on show tomorrow night, cause both of em will have a point to prove to themselves as well as the SFC hierarchy above, that they are the real deal, so i'd personally suggest to keep a close eye on this fight. Now, Axl is an exceptional Kick-boxer who had a start to his career which many young fighters can only ever dream off, and fair play to him, he did cap off his early with a Middleweight title win at Iron Fist Championship. But ever since then, his form at Rise seemed to dipped a little bit, but suffering a couple losses at a tough organization is hardly the end of the world, especially as he won 7 on the trot before it, hence he'll be desperately looking to win this fight, to get his career back on track again, and kickstart his SCRAP FC career in style. As for his opponent, Emilio, who is a wrestler and a grappler by trade, well his SFC career didn't really get off the start he'd hoped for to be honest, as a humiliating 1st round defeat heavily damaged his chances of calling out the top brass in this division. But nonetheless, after now 2 back to back losses, i'm sure he'd be itching to get back in that cage, to not only correct all the wrong things he did in his previous fight, but also stake his claim as one of the most feared competitors across this division. Prediction: Axl Cailean wins via TKO (Round 1) 8) John "Animal" Burden (5-1) vs Joshua "Hood" Whitlock (5-1) {Featherweight Bout [145 LBS]} I'm not gonna lie, apart from the title fight later on, this is the matchup i'm most looking forward to tomorrow, and i have got good reason for that, cause these two probably are the most technically sound fighters you'll see across the divisions, but not only that, these two are coming into this fight off the back of a loss each in their previous bouts respectively, which ironically are the first defeats in each of their respective careers to date, hence there will be an immense hunger on both sides to correct to mistakes they might have made in their previous bouts, so whatever you're doing, don't miss this one cause it has all the ingredients of a fight of the night written all over it in my opinion. Now stylistically, although they both are more than comfortable being involved in a grappling or a straight up Kickboxing bout, i'd personally say if given the choice, John Burden will most definitely like this fight to play out more like a boxing match, as he possesses that lethal one punch knockout power which his opponent might not have in his arsenal. Alas, under new management now after losing his maiden title fight which he deservedly earned after 4 tremendous wins in a row over at RISE, Burden will definitely like to put on a show for his loyal fans to once and for all stamp his authority as the number one contender for that SFC Featherweight title. But what must be said is he's moving to an unknown territory, as all his previous bouts have been in the Lightweight division, so hopefully for his sake, he deals with the change like the champion he so wishes to be. But standing in his way trying to scupper his plans would be a very hungry Joshua Whitlock, also pretty much new to competitive matchups under new management, who after losing his first ever bout, which tbf was a test fight, is most definitely looking for a quick turnaround in his fortunes, and therefore he'll be very eager to win this bout so that he can prove to the SFC hierarchy above, that he is the real deal and the real contender to the inaugural a SFC Featherweight title. As for his fighting style, well he's a pretty well rounded fighter, who would probably choose to stand up and brawl it out with his opponent if given the chance, but contrary to his opponent, he's no slouch in the ground either, so if this fight actually turns into a boxing match, it would be a very close fight is all i'm gonna say, but what he might try and do is use his superior grappling skills to full effect by taking his opponent down early, so his tactical approach will be one to keep an eye on. Prediction: John Burden wins via Unanimous Decision CO-MAIN EVENT 9) Black Heart (4-2) vs Unang Zemin (9-5) {Bantamweight Bout [145 LBS]} The penultimate fight of the evening sees two old foes, formerly of ENIGMA, renew their personal rivalry, (dating back even to their Prospect 390K days where funnily enough, they never actually fought each other,) to once and for all give us the definitive answer as to who's the better of the two, so people, expect fireworks from the get go, cause if you want some entertainment, it surely can't get bigger than this rematch of epic proportions...so strap yourselves up, cause you're in for hell of a ride with this one... Now Black Heart is a Muay thai Kickboxer, and the former Prospect Bantamweight title challenger, who's arguably in the form of his life right now, and yeah, even though there was a blip in the road to success, he's been almost perfect in every bout he took part in under his current manager. Now stylistically, although he ideally likes to keep the fight on the feet, he's also more than capable of defending submission attempts on the ground. He's come close to the gold once before as mentioned above, but that elusive first title still eludes him, and after a couple bouts at ENIGMA, where he probably though that the competition is too extreme for him to get a early title shot, he's come over to new pastures here at SFC and therefore will be hoping to win this fight in style, to first off settle the debate about who's the better among the two, and secondly stamp his name potentially as the #1 contender for that inaugural SFC Bantamweight title. As for his opponent, well Unang Zemin is also naturally a Muay Thai Kickboxer, pretty adept at grappling too must i add, who so far has probably had the career of dreams of sorts as a young-star, as after taking part in the highly coveted Alliance World Championship, winning a respectable 2 out of a possible 5 fights in it, he straight away went off to win his maiden title over at Prospect 390k, dazzling everyone in the couple title defences since, before eventually losing the title later on. But even then his confidence never really took any major hits as over at ENIGMA, as apart from losing to his current opponent in what was eventually awarded the fight of the night, he had a relatively successful career there too, but of course that loss to Black Heart is still etched in his memory and it still probably haunts him, and therefore he'll definitely look to win this bout, to complete his revenge once and for all and show everyone that he is indeed the king of the SFC Bantamweights. Prediction: Unang Zemin wins via Unanimous Decision MAIN EVENT 10) Anthony "Sosa" Santana (9-1) vs Elijah Anderson (6-2-1) {Light-Heavyweight Title Fight [205 LBS]} VS So after 9 grueling bouts, the wait is finally over guys, as next up, live from the sold out Hyashi's Lounge in downtown LA, it's time for the main event of the evening... Honestly. both these fighters really don't need much of an introduction, but in case you need some insight, well Anthony Santana has been one of the most devastating KO artist over at RISE for some time now, and tbh, apart from that 1 devastating loss in his maiden title fight, he's had a faultless picture perfect career till date, and even that many argue was very unlucky, due to the massive cut he suffered. He made his SFC debut at the tail end of last month, and as expected absolutely dominated his opponent in all aspects of that fight for as long as it lasted. But, the one lingering doubt over his title credentials, as in handling off the pressure in tough situations, has still got some questions that are left unanswered, and therefore he will be itching to win this fight to once and for all prove to all his doubters that he is indeed the real deal, as well as accomplish his lifelong dream of winning a title at a major organization. As for his opponent, well Elijah is a very talented wrestler and a grappler, who tbh has had a pretty steady-eddy career till date, with some notable wins alongside some pretty disappointing defeats along the way while he was at RISE, but since then if his two back to back wins is anything to go by, he might have found a solution to winning matches again, but still, his performances so far has been nothing to rave about tbh. He will have a massive wrestling and grappling advantage over Anthony in this title fight, and therefore it's pretty much a given that he'll give it everything he has to try and take his opponent down to the mat, which in turn would give him a massive opportunity to win his first ever title, but alas all this may be wishful thinking on his part cause Anthony will definitely do his level best to prevent all this happening in the first place... therefore all in all, this fight may end up being a cagy tactical battle like most title fights, so we can only wait and watch as to who will reign supreme and be crowned the First ever SFC champion. Prediction: Elijah Anderson wins via Unanimous Decision and becomes the new SFC Light-Heavyweight champion. So with that we've come to the end of yet another event preview set to be hosted by our fascinating new organization called SFC, i hope you lot enjoyed the writeup, so until next time, ciao!
  2. Exactly, that's why i'm saying either the pool of fighters are too small or the bridge between 370k and 380k is just far too big imo, there's no sweet spot. I mean even if another 370k org decides to open up a contender org, it would probably be pretty successful.
  3. In my opinion, the 375k to 380k is really struggling atm. Yeah there are good, stable orgs with proper owners running them at both 380k as well as at 370k, but the transition in my opinion is too big straightaway, and there is no pathway that leads to the big boys at 370k, and maybe that's why loads of managers might even look to just train up their fighters more than actually sign up for an org, which could mean the complete death of the 375k id range. What do you guys think?
  4. SFC 3: Caetano vs Knights (Review) Hello and welcome back ladies and gents, this is your host Sam McCarthy back again, bringing to you the review of everything that transpired in yet another incredible event held over here at SFC 3, and let me tell you, when i say that these bouts had a bit of everything, i'm definitely not joking, cause the record amount of fans that turned up to a rousing Hyashi's Lounge yesterday definitely had their moneys worth. Now why do i say this you may ask? Well stick around and find out...which is precisely why let's jump straight into the action. UNDERCARD BOUTS 1) Tyrann Madden (4-5) vs "Groovy" Sage Rochester (4-7) {Featherweight Bout [145 LBS]} In the opening bout of the evening, Sage Rochester simply showed us a grappling and wrestling clinic and comfortably demolished the hapless Tyrann Madden in the first round itself, and that too without even letting Tyrann throw even a single shot. Impressive. Result: Sage Rochester won via Submission (Armbar) in 3:46 of the very first round. 2) Pedro Silva (6-0) vs Hans Machiels (0-1) {Featherweight Bout [145 LBS]} Next up, we saw another bout which basically was a one-way traffic, as right from the get-go, Pedro Silva took the initiative and completed a rather easy takedown from the clinch...And from there onwards till the end of the fight, it was one submission attempt after another from Silva which to be fair Machiels kept thwarting time after time, be it a guillotine, some kind of choke, kimura or even an arm triangle, everything was being repelled, but credit to Silva as in the dying seconds of Round 1, he finally hit the jackpot and locked in a deep triangle which resulted in Hans tapping out profusely. Result: Pedro Silva won via Submission (Arm Triangle) in 4:58 of the very first round 3) Brad Collins (1-0) vs Carr Cartwright (0-1) {Light-Heavyweight [205 LBS]} Well for once i got my prediction spot on...phew, tough jobs lads...anyways This bout between the two hungry debutants also somewhat ended up following the same rhetoric of the first two bouts, as Brad Collins just ended up being a step too far for Carr Cartwright, as Collins just outclassed his opponent in all 3 rounds, completing 7 takedowns in the process and just simply, with a 50% success rate and basically controlling the entire 15 mins on the ground, and yes although Carr may have ended up trying a couple submission attempts off his back and throwing in a couple kicks, and a few punches from the clinch after the referee TWICE stood them up due to lack of activity on the ground, overall it was a deserved win for Collins with all 3 judges voting unanimously in his favor. Result: Brad Collins won via Unanimous Decision 4) Alcide Almunecar (5-4) vs Yuvaraj Hallstro (2-2) {Welterweight Bout [170 LBS]} This fight had a bit of everything to be honest, i.e. an early takedown and tons of submission attempts off his back from a jiu-jitsu specialist all throughout Round 1, with Alcide repelling all those attempts and even getting in a few cheap shots on his opponent himself, add to that Almunecar apparently kept mocking his opponent by shouting "OLE" while dodging his takedown attempts, but come Round 2 everything changed, cause Almunecar just upped the ante right from the start off the round and absolutely hammered Hallstro with headshots and kicks galore. At first Yuvaraj seemed to be coping alright with them, but after just over a minute of the 2nd Round, Hallstro got Rocked with a powerful punch and that was the beginning of the end, as Almunecar seized his opportunity and went for the kill, which resulted in a powerful right hand to Hallstro's jaw followed up by some more strikes which forced the ref to jump in and stop the fight. Result: Alcide Almunecar won via TKO (Strikes) in 2:49 of Round 2 5) Akira Watanabe (6-0) vs Deep "Deep Bluez" Bluez (4-4) {Heavyweight Bout [265 LBS]} The final bout from our Undercard panned out exactly as it was predicted to be tbh, with Watanabe using his much too superior Muay Thai skills to full effect, as straight from the sound of the bell, he clinched up with Bluez, and from there on the rest was history, as that world renowned knee of Watanabe got to work on Bluez's body and head with almost unimaginable accuracy, among which one of them knee to the head strikes cut open a massive gash on Blue'z head which was then followed up by another huge kneed to the head resulting in a knockdown. Credit where credits due, Bluez did fight through it all and survived the onslaught, but only until another vicious knee strike completely knocked Bluez out cold. The class and precision of Watanabe's strikes did impress me a lot personally, and he's not one to be taken lightly. Result: Akira Watanabe won via KO (Knee Strike) 1:46 of the very first Round. MAIN CARD 6) Leg Day (9-9) vs Sauvo "Finninator" Korhonen (3-4) {Middleweight Bout [185 LBS]} The main card for the evening was opened up with a kicking masterclass from Leg Day, and as his name suggests, yesterday definitely belonged to his leg. Now it wasn't like Korhonon gave up and didn't put up a fight, cause he did try to clinch up and sometimes even postured up as if he was preparing a takedown attempt, which would have done him the world of good, but alas that never happened and Leg Day completely outworked, out-struck and outclassed Korhonen in all aspects of this bout, comfortably winning the bout unanimously with the 3rd round being so one sided, all 3 judges gave it a 10-8 score in Leg Day's favour, and honestly, why wouldn't they? I mean if you look at the stats, 60 successful strikes to 2 is a pretty compelling argument for one 10-8 round at least. So all in all, back to the drawing board for Korhonen, and onto bigger and better challenges hopefully for Leg Day, about whom i gotta say, well done young man. Result: Leg Day won via Unanimous Decision 7) Nicholaus Strauss (3-0) vs Cole Orion (4-4 {2 Exhibition bouts}) {Welterweight Bout [170 LBS]} As predicted by the goat which is myself, thanks everyone, this bout did indeed end up being one of the most entertaining fights of the evening, so much so that it got named the fight of the night, and why wouldn't it be...i mean just look at these stats, 40-36 successful strikes in Strauss's favour, which really tells you the story of the how the fight played out in front of a roaring crowd tbh, as punches and knees and kicks were thrown all over the gaf, from both fighters who were literally SCRAPPING it out in the middle of the ring and trading strikes left right and centre...But ultimately a superior Muay Thai artist and a cut from a possible jab might have proved to be detrimental in Orion's hopes of winning this fight as just over halfway through Round 2, Strauss landed a huge uppercut that rocked Cole to the hilt, and seeing a massive opportunity to finish the fight, Strauss straight away jumped all over his opponent and unloaded a barrage of strikes upon Orion, resulting in the ref being forced to step in and end what would be one of the best bouts in SFC history. Result: Nicholaus Strauss won via TKO (Strikes) 3:47 of Round 2 8) Akio Kurosaki (5-5) vs Pocket Rocket (6-3) {Bantamweight Bout [135 LBS]} All i wanna say for this bout is, this is what happens when two grapplers try to pretend like boxers go head to head and decide that they actually wanna just keep standing on their feet and trade punches amongst each other...i mean to be fair to Rocket, he did actually attempt a lot of takedowns but they were immediately repelled by Kurosaki who had definitely put a lot of work on his takedown defence. But to the credit of both the fighters, they were extremely active on their feet with both of them trading a lot of punches between each other, allbeit none of them punches or kicks for that matter did any substantial damage to either, but the crowd were definitely enjoying this as the loud cheers and claps proved after the end of every round proved. Now at the end of Round 2, everything was as you were with both of them trading punches and Kurosaki with his dominant standup skills coming out on top in the brawl, but Rocket did throw a cat amongst the pigeons for a hot minute with a beautifully executed takedown, but unfortunately he failed to caputilise on it and the ref had to stand both of them up due to lack of activity. And from there on it was pretty much a one way traffic with Kurosaki outstriking his opponent and obviously coming out on top when the decision from the judges were read out to a elated crowd. All in all it was a very enjoyable fight, maybe lacking some killer instinct but worthy of a watch nonetheless. Result: Akio Kurosaki won via Unanimous Decision CO-MAIN EVENT 9) Pultti "Stun Gun" Pyssy (8-4) vs Hot Water (7-3) {Lightweight Bout [155 LBS]} The co-headliner of the evening brought to us two masters of their art in action, as two of the most dangerous lightweights on the roster put up an absolute clinic infront of the roaring crowd at the Hyashi's Lounge and showed us how simple technical stuff can make a huge difference. Now this bout started with two guys who were most definitely very well prepped about each others strengths and styles, as both seemed to dodge and sway away from each others kicks and punches rather easily, almost as if they can telegraph it, but the jabs and kicks kept flowing from both sides to be fair as the stats showed us in the end whereby both the fighters threw about 30 strikes each in the first couple minutes itself...but the main difference in this bout came from possibly a lack of concentration from Hot Water as a stiff Jab caught him by surprise and wobbled him, which in turn seemed to spur on Pyssy, who threw in a magical Head Kick, knocking Hot Water out cold, and winning Pyssy his third KO of the night award. Result: Pultti Pyssy won via KO (Headkick) 3:26 of the very first round. MAIN EVENT 10) Joachim "The Scheme" Caetano (8-8) vs Nightey Knights (13-5) {Bantamweight Bout [135 LBS]} vs So after 9 enthralling bouts it's finally time for the fight that you all have been waiting for, live from the near sold out Hyashi's Lounge in downtown LA, it's time....so let's jump straight into the fight. So Round 1 started at a frightening pace, with Knights being the aggressor in a standup contest for the most part, resulting in a straight right hand opening up a massive cut on Caetano's face, and it seemed like it's only a matter of time till knights knocks the living daylights outta Caetano, but then the pace of the bout seemed to dwindle away as Caetano clinched up to simply stop the barrage of strikes coming his way and then managed to take Knights down successfully to his relief, but that relief didn't last long as Knights showed his grappling skills and executed a stunning reversal to get himself on top and that's how the round ended. The second round pretty much followed a similar pattern as the first as Caetano managed to take Knights down early and then landed a few strikes on him from guard, but as time went by, the amount of activity on the ground didn't prove to be sufficient enough for the ref, which resulted in him standing both fighters up. After that Knights controlled the rest of the round with occasional punches throughout and that's all she wrote for round number 2. As for Round 3, people who hoped for a fiery end to a pretty drab fight were unfortunately left disappointed, as apart from a few heavy leg kicks from Caetano and a lot of missed takedown attempts, alongside a few clean jabs and hooks and right hand punches from Knight, nothing much happened tbh, but with a minute left till the fight, it seemed like someone told Caetano he needs a finish cause suddenly after a stiff jab onto a clinch, he tried his best to step up the attacking onslaught, but alas knights managed to survive it and eventually win the bout via the judges decision. In my humble opinion, this was a pretty boring fight, which had the potential for a lot more. Result: Nightey Knights won via Unanimous Decision POST FIGHT BONUSES FOTN: Nicholaus Struss vs Cole Orion KOTN: Pultti Pyssy SOTN: Sage Rochester Merch Partner GROOVE GEAR ^^Click on the name to view the company and buy the cheapest and most affordable merch you'll find anywhere across this platform. 7. SFC 3: Caetano vs Knights Hello ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, grandmas and grandpas alike, this is your host for the night, Sam McCarthy, bringing to you the next installment of the pure blood, sweat and chaos of-course, from an organization where destruction is the only method of survival, Live from the sold out Hyashi's Lounge in downtown L.A....welcome people...to SCRAP FC. And guess what, if that intro didn't get your knickers in a twist, well tell you what it will definitely do so now, as tomorrow night we have an absolute gem of a card to feast on for ya...Cause you know what, You want someone getting knocked out cold? Well we got that covered. You want someone to get chocked out? guess what? We got that covered too. So whatever you do tomorrow, don't miss this event. Anyways, since by now i know i have pretty much bored everyone to death, let's jump straight into the previews for tomorrow nights event, and oh boy what a banger it's going to be... UNDERCARD BOUTS 1) Tyrann Madden (4-4) vs "Groovy" Sage Rochester (3-7) {Featherweight Bout [145 LBS]} Prediction: Tyrann wins via a TKO (Round 3) 2) Pedro Silva (5-0) vs Hans "Rampage" Machiels (Pro Debut) {Featherweight Bout [145 LBS]} Prediction: Machiels wins via TKO (Round 2) 3) Brad Collins (Pro Debut) vs Carr Cartwright (Pro Debut) {Light Heavyweight Bout [205 LBS]} Prediction: Brad Collins via Unanimous Decision (Round 3) 4) Yuvaraj Halstro (2-1 in MMA) vs Alcide Almunecar (4-4) {Welterweight Bout [170 LBS]} Prediction: Almunecar wins via KO (Round 1) 5) Deep "Deep Bluez" Bluez (3-4) vs Akira Watanabe (5-0) {Heavyweight Bout [265 LBS]} Prediction: Watanabe wins via TKO (Round 1) MAIN CARD Right then, with the undercards now firmly behind us, it's time for the big guns of the organization to step into the line of fire and make this great opportunity count, so without further delay, let's take a closer look at those matchups... 1) Sauvo "The Finninator" Korhonen (3-3) vs Leg Day (8-9) {Middleweight Bout[185 LBS]} So starting off our Main Card will be a age old classic Grappler vs striker matchup between two guys, who possibly are a bit low on confidence to be honest, as they are both coming off of respective loses in their previous fight and will be desperately looking for a win to get their careers back on track again. Now Korhonen is a guy who is typically very well equipped defensively with ruthless brawlers as well as technical strikers, and is more than willing to take the fight to the ground, where he no doubt has a significant advantage over his next opponent at least, but there are also some major faults in his arsenal, whereby sometimes, due to lack of concentration he can get exploited and beaten up out of the blue...but when he is 100% focused, he is definitely tough as nails. So my suggestion to his opponents, don't let this guy take you down or is wraps. As for his opponent, well he is a former (Vandal Fighting Club Middleweight Champ) whose career as a pro has simply stagnated, and mind you i'm being extremely polite here. His fighting style consists of moments of brilliance from one of the most vicious and devastating headkicks you'll see in the sport, otherwise you'd find him in the ground getting his head planted onto the mat by his opponent, so in my opinion if you are his opponent, just watch out for that headkick...avoid it and you're boogie. As for his weaknesses, well just take him down and find out. Prediction: Korhonen wins via Submission (Round 2) 2) Nicholaus Strauss (2-0) vs Cole Orion (4-3 {2 Exhibition fights}) {Welterweight Bout [170 LBS]} Right so next up is probably one of the most interesting matchups of the night, one which i'm most definitely looking forward to, to say the least, cause we have two guys with vastly different fighting styles set to square off in the middle of the cage with only one goal in their mind...that is to finish off their opponent before the decision is left to the judges, so if you want an entertaining bout with a guaranteed finish to bet on, well this is it. Like i mentioned above, these are two guys with vastly different fighting styles, and it shows, cause Strauss, although being more than competent and certainly not a slouch in the ground, prefers to much rather stand and brawl with his opponents like there's no tomorrow, and that so far in his career has worked a treat, cause with successive 1st round finishes, he is high on confidence, and will be looking to continue his unbeaten start to his career, which would no doubt take his name among the inaugral title fight in the 170 LBS category. As for his opponent, well his career has been a bit up and down to be fair, cause after the high of winning his first bout in a tourney, he was brought straight back down to earth in his very next fight where he suffered a devastating loss for his morale which caused him to be eliminated from the tourney. But since then, apart from two consecutive test fight losses, he's been pretty good to be honest, finishing both of his fights, and hence he'll be desperately looking to win this bout, to firstly mark his Scrap debut in style, and continue the momentum of winning competitive fights, which would no doubt propel him into a title contenders spot. Prediction: Cole Orion via Submission (Round 3) 3) Pocket Rocket (6-2) vs Akio Kurosaki (4-5) {Bantamweight Bout [135 LBS]} Up next, stylistically we probably have the most predictable matchup in the history of SCRAP FC, as two genuine grapplers are set to square of in the middle of the cage, to assert their early dominance inside this Bantamweight division, and send out a clear message to everyone at 135 LBS, that if they want that title, they have got to come through him. Now formerly of RISE Fighting League, Pocket Rockets stock is definitely on the rise, as coming off the back of 3 successive wins, he is gonna be licking his lips in the anticipation of yet another bout, which most probably one way or another will likely end up as a grappling bonanza, with neither fighter wiling to to stand and brawl with the other, and hence Rocket will feel like he'll have the slight advantage in grappling, and therefore would be very confident in his chances of a win, and straight away propelling his name into a possible title fight up next. As for his opponent, well Akio took part in the very prestigious AWC tourney, whereby although being pretty ordinary, he came out of it with some credit after securing a couple wins on the way, and has since gone onto have a pretty up and down career at Canadian Fighting Championship, with a win and a loss to his record back there. He like his opponent is another guy who although is pretty competent while standing up, does most of his damage after he takes his opponent down to the mat. So with a fresh start at a new organization, he'd hope to continue his winning run, and get one step closer to his dream of winning a title. Prediction: Pocket Rocket wins via Unanimous Decision (Round 3) CO-MAIN EVENT 4) Hot Water (7-2) vs Pultti "Stun Gun" Pyssy (7-4) {Lightweight Bout [155 LBS]} In our penultimate fight of the night, we probably have the the most highly anticipated match in SCRAP FC's short history so far, as two KO artists and former RISE fight league superstars square off for supremacy in what could be a pivotal bout, deciding the fate of the inaugral SCRAP FC Lightweight title fight contenders. Now Hot Water, is a former Prospect MMA Lightweight title challenger, who although possesses devastating KO power, just never seems to get over the line in clutch fights where it matters the most, as even in RISE, after successfully winning his first couple fights, when the going got tough in a potential decider for the number #1 contenders spot, he ended up getting knocked out just like his only title fight to date whereby he submitted rather easily and without much of a fight some people say. And hence with a fresh start to his career, he'd hope to once and for all prove his doubters wrong, and win this fight to fuel up his hopes of earning himself a potential title fight in the future. As for his opponent, well his career has sort of gone nowhere at RISE, with good looking wins submitting as well as knocking out several of his opponents, but then coming up short and derailing his momentum vs one of the most dangerous fighters and a potential title contender over at RISE Fight League. Now Pyssy, when he's on his game could actually be one of the most feared guys in the division, cause not only can he knock you out in one punch, but he can also choke you out at the same time, but that's the thing, he needs to be on his game at that time, which is is sometimes not. So only time will tell which version of him turns up for this bout. Prediction: Pultti wins via Submission (Round 2) MAIN EVENT So after 9 exhilerating bouts and a night full of twists and turns, we have finally come to the bout that you all have been waiting for, you have been begging for, so let's not waste anymore time and jump straight into the fight.. Joaquim "The Scheme" Caetano (8-7) Nightey Knights (12-5) vs {Bantamweight Bout [135 LBS]} We started off the night in a classic bout of a striker vs a grappler, so it was only really gonna be fitting to cap off this brutal night of MMA, well for the fighters involved at least with yet another Striker vs Grappler mayhem, as two former fighters straight out of the Island and two former title challengers at various organizations across the map come head to head, for a final showdown to find out the ultimate king who's gonna reign supreme in the Bantamweight division. Now Joaquin is a guy who after having a very successful start to his young career, winning post event bonuses, competing in title fights, had just simply faded away into the shadow realm during his time at Highland...and with 3 losses in 4 under a new manager, things haven't got much better just yet, hence he desperately needs a win to not only boost his confidence, but also show everyone, that the once hot prospect who burst onto the scene with great performances is still alive and kicking. As for his fighting style, well let's simply put that he is a guy who would much rather take you down and keep you there, than stand up and brawl, and i'll keep it to that. As for his opponent, well he made a similar jump over from Highland, but unlike his opponent tomorrow, Knights is coming into this fight full of confidence after securing back to back wins under new management and is looking much sharper with his striking than under his previous manager...but with him now showing a similar class to what he did back when he broke into the MMA scene, the (Island season 13 winner) will be looking to mark his debut with another victory, to add to his momentum which could eventually lead to a potential title contenders spot in the future. As for his fighting style, well he'll look to stay at arms length and knock you out, simple eh? Not really. Prediction: Nightey knights wins via TKO (Round 2) So with that we've come to the end of the preview for SFC 3, i hope you liked the preview, so until next time (event review on Monday) ciao! *Turn your phones sideways if you wanna get a proper look at the writeups. 8. I mean mike doesn't actually do what we ask for 90% of the time, so maybe reverse psychology might actually end up working wonders.
  9. That logo definitely caught my attention, good job man.
  10. UPDATE: FENRIR UP FOR SALE Right lads, even tho i have only been running this company for a few months now, unfortunately due to work pressure from real life i am gonna have to put Fenrir Fightgear up for sale, so any interested parties can now bid on it, although i would prefer them to directly contact me so i can personally hand the company over to them and discuss the fee through negotiations...but if not then hopefully this company has a bright future and falls under safe hands. My manager profile if you wanna PM me: https://www.mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=133120 **Edit: Company has been sold.
  11. Funny how you and then your alliance buddies keep trying to have a go at me one after the other, it gives me some entertainment alright, anyways, i actually don't keep screenshots of convos i had with some knobheads who have way too much spare time in their life to literally chat shit, unlike you it sounds like cause you probably do keep some screenshots, which if true is really really sad, especially when we're playing a text based online game. Well guess what why don't you try and roll me off the face of the earth? I mean you already threatened to beat me up last time, so you might as well try this, and see for yourself where you're gonna end up after that.
  12. Well, the question should be do you really wanna revisit that conversation and see who started everything off Mr? And all that when i never said 1 bad thing about you before that...so you might as well keep that lid shut. Well guess what, Andy has got quite a reputation in this game for some words he chooses to call other members of the community who he doesn't quite get on with well enough, so i didn't really want anything to do with any of your alliance buddies, hence i might have blocked everyone.
