There will be a 50k signup fee Who is signed up : 1) Bijakonja 2) Scoobyskyline3 3) Deuce7 4) JLP 5) nandorossi 6) Jacman 7) Charles Allensworth 8) Groovemonkey 9) Dom Jaenkhe 10)Dean Sutherland 11) 12) Prizes 1st : 350k 2nd : 100k 3rd : 50k Post in this thread to enter, send me your 50k, and I will send you the link to signup at yahoo. PLEASE PUT YOUR MANAGER NAME SOMEWHERE IN YOUR TEAM NAME For example my team name is "The Tanaka Clan" That will help me keep track of who belongs to which team. Rosters : C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, 2 Util (play any position), 2 Starting Pitchers, 2 Relief Pitchers, 4 any type Pitchers In addition there are 5 Bench spots and 2 Disabled List spots. Rules : (I decided on these to keep things fair) 1) Once your team is eliminated from the playoffs, the team will be locked 2) 8 acquisitions per week maximum 3) Daily roster moves 4) Trade Deadline of August 17th 5) Minimum of 15 innings pitched per week required or else your team will lose all the pitching categories 6) League will be Head to Head each week 7) Top 6 teams make the playoffs (1 & 2 seeds get a bye week) 8) Playoffs begin the week of September 8th Stats Categories : (These are the scoring week to week. If your team beats your opponent in that category you get a win and they get a loss. Wins and losses determine the standings. Each week begins a new head to head matchup) Hitting Categories : Runs, Home Runs, Runs Batted In, Stolen Bases, Batting Average Pitching Categories : Wins, Saves, Strikeouts, Earned Run Average, Walks and Hits Per Inning Pitched (WHP) Draft Date & Time : Sunday March 16th at 3pm (Central Time... GMT -6) You can pre-rank as many players as you would like if this time does not work for you. Actually I encourage you to pre-rank players anyway just incase something comes up at the last minute. Looking forward competing with the other MMATtcooners. This will be my 6th fantasy league (3 NFL, 1 NHL, 2 NBA) with fellow Tycooners. First time was a long long time ago, and I got made fun of for picking Vlad Gurrero in the second round. I finished second in the league. Then the last one I did I was way into last place after a few weeks. Almost every player I drafted was on a down year or got injured. I was so pissed. Thankfully with baseball and basketball the seasons are long and that leaves plenty of time to climb back up the rankings after an early slump. I am trying to remember what season it was. I cant remeber who was on my team but I lost my top two pitchers for most of the season along with my 2nd basemen and an outfielder in the first month or so of the season. With the injuries and luck involved everyone has a chance until about June. That's when bad drafting luck will hit some teams and they will wind up needing to scour the free agent list daily. Yes, at times... but its better than weekly ones where if you have a guy get hurt on tuesday you're stuck the rest of the week without being able to substitute for him.
