I apologize first off for my absence of late, I have been having internet troubles and was not able to get online as often as I normally am. Thanks to Daddy Winger for stepping up and trying to get updated ratings out, but he is not familiar with the methods I use to rank fighters so you may notice some weird discrepancies from last month's* rankings. Sorry for any confusion, but these are the official RISE Rankings for 11/4/2018. The position arrows are based on adjustments from Winger's post and not the previous post made by myself. These are simply adjustments made to his listings. Again sorry for the inconvenience and confusion.

Hello, fight fans, managers, and critics alike! Welcome to the first installment of RISE! Above, a look at upcoming events, up and coming fighters, champion spotlights, interviews and more! Brought to you by Evil Empire, and the good folks at RISE.

Today we will be taking a look at an upcoming event, next Saturday's RFL 51- Stoddler vs. Morris. Big fights with big stakes on the line, so let's get right into it and see what RFL 51 has to offer.

Chris Omega vs. King Yelats

Kicking off the undercard is an odd spectacle. On the one hand you have King Yelats, an entryway gatekeeper who hasn't kept the door closed very often. In fact, he's been finished seven times in eight outings. On the other hand you have Chris Omega, a gym prodigy who came out of his first contest in an even draw. This one should be a walk into RISE for Omega, but a loss for Yelats could be the final coffin nail in a dead career. Hopefully Yelats rises to the occasion and makes this one a fight.

Seng Goku vs. Gato Wali

Our second fight is another case of a veteran gatekeeper testing a relative newcomer to the fight game. Gato Wali is a grappler, and when he comes correct he can be fearsome on the mat. However, our sources say he looks out of shape and sluggish in the gym, and his training camp has been a bit of a mess. His opponent is TWGC competitor Seng Goku. Goku is making his first foray into MMA, and he has been working on his boxing as well as tightening up his ground game. Wali better get it together or he could end up on Goku's highlight reel.

Josh Roffen vs. He Is I Am Him

HIIAH has retired, so hopefully he shows up for one last match. Josh Roffen has recovered from a rough start early in his career, and money problems have plagued him through training, but hopefully that can be corrected with what should be an easy win from a fighter who has apparently given up before the event.

Sagat Shanti vs. Mr. Miagi

After going for a three fight skid and getting cut by his former manager, Sagat Shanti is back, reprogrammed and ready to get back in the win column under Keyboard Warrior Kalle Derlude. Shanti is a striker of ferocious power, with all nine of his victories coming by way of knockout, most of them in the first round. A win here will put Shanti back on the road to redemption, but standing in his way is Mr. Miagi. Miagi also desperately needs a win, and his clinch game is brutal when he plays to his strengths and uses it. One of these guys may be looking for a job in commentary after this fight.

Minor Caugh vs. Franck Kodjia

Headlining the undercard, we have Minor Caugh vs. Franck Kodjia. Caugh, despite being a versatile and well-rounded striker, has been criticized as having no chin and sloppy grappling. He hasn't picked up a win in his last five outings, and I'm sure he is desperately hoping for a miracle on Saturday night. His opponent, Franck Kodjia, is a relative newcomer; a defensive grappler who likes to tie his opponents up in the clinch and wear them down. Destroying Caugh in exactly this fashion should be nothing more than a formality for the up-and-coming Kodjia.

Robert Bruce vs. Francisco Gonzales

The first fight on the main card brings us Robert Bruce vs. Francisco Gonzales, two scrappy featherweights trying to prove they deserve to stay at the top of the cards. Bruce likes to stand and bang, but Gonzales isn't afraid to trade shots either, and has the added advantage of being able to threaten a takedown. If Bruce can find a way past Gonzale's granite chin and manage to keep the fight standing, it could be a chance for him to get back into the main card for good. Most likely, he will be another notch in Gonzalez's win column.

Jeremy Jones vs. Dennis Wilson

Jeremy Jones has been a beast in his last two fights, dismantling Chuck Thompson for three rounds before knocking him out and dropping Joshua Syracuse with no formality in the first round. He's coming into this fight like a steamroller, but standing in his way is an unknown in Dennis Wilson, a grappler on paper who chose to stand and trade in his first outing (to his detriment). Hopefully Wilson has been working on his game plan, because he has no hope trading punches with a knockout machine like Jones.

Chief Bear vs. Wong Tong Chicken

Chief Bear hasn't been out of the first round in his last twelve outings. He is a savage who comes home with his shield or on it, and leaves everything in the cage. His withering ground and pound is fearsome, and his jaw is made of solid diamond. Despite some setbacks recently, he has been training in top form and appears set to make a comeback. His opponent, however, appears to be the worst matchup possible for a recovering Bear. Wong Tong Chicken, first of all, has POWER. He can accidentally knock you out with a jab. He's not the prettiest boxer at RFL, but god damn this man hits hard. Very hard. And on top of that, he's a submission expert with all the tools to capitalize on any mistake Bear makes from the top. All in all, this is my early pick for fight of the night, but I'm a bit biased because I'm a fan of grapplers. Too many X factors for me to make a prediction, but my instinct tells me that Bear is going to be too aggressive and too sloppy and get caught in an early submission.

CO-MAIN EVENT

Mario Farina vs. Fedor Emelianegro

I'm going to cliché hell for this one, but in our co-main event, Somebody's 0 Has Got To Go!!! 8-0 Mario Farina has eight knockouts and formerly held the title before undergoing a change in management. Since then, new manager Grumpy Bastard has already got him back in the win column, and another victory here could have him involved in talks of title contention. His opponent, Fedor Emelianegro, has finished five fights in under eight minutes combined. He is Mike Tyson Dynamite in a box, and every time he connects could end the fight or his opponent's career. Or life. Both of these men pack serious heat, so don't blink when the bell rings. This one is for the just bleed fans (which is all of us, let's just be honest.). Safe bet that somebody is getting knocked out in brutal fashion.

MAIN EVENT

Tud Stoddler vs. Nick Morris

For the Main Event of RFL 51, RISE is proud to bring you Tud Stoddler vs. Nick Morris. 10-1 Stoddler recently came under new management, opting to fight under veteran manager Aylib 2.0. So far the decision has paid off, as Stoddler has gone 2-0 and acquired the RFL 155 lb Championship Title in the process. The new champion has never looked better, showing both the ability to weather a long storm and apply pressure over five brutal rounds as well as the ability to stop a fight on a dime. Anyone looking to take the RFL 155 lb belt has quite a fight on their hands. Nick Morris may be the man to bring that fight. At 7-3, Morris has shown a scrappiness and a willingness to take on all comers that drove him to the top of the RFL ranks. After a fight of the night decision victory in his last performance, Morris showed that he had the heart and the gas tank to struggle through a tough battle and scratch out a victory. Although he's never been to the championship rounds, Morris is a gritty and experienced competitor finally being given the biggest chance in his career. Will he have what it takes to take the top spot from Stoddler, or will he just be another stepping stone to the RFL champion's legacy? Tune in Saturday night to find out!

Be sure to set your clocks; RFL 51 is an event that no manager involved with this organization wants to miss. There is a title on the line, and even the undercard fights have implications within the division that could cause quite a stir in the event of an upset. After all, this is MMA, and that's exactly why we love it. See you all Saturday.

Sara Carbonara from BBC News Channel 5 has an exclusive interview with Camp Camara's killers Fedor Emelianegro and War Machine.

http://pelelepew.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/10_Sara-Carbonero-1.jpg

Interviewer: Hi boys, MMA fans all around the world want to know how your journey at RISE MMA is going.

War Machine: I just got here and honestly I am not impressed by this division one bit. It's basically good managers fighting the biggest cans you could find. This must be a front for something else, probably for money laundering or a male prostitution ring. They matched me with some noob but whatever I guess I will just have to demolish everyone until they have no choice but to give me the champ !

Interviewer: How about you Fedor? You had a competitive fight this past week?

Emelianegro: Fart Master is a great manager and our camps are very tight. But I came to dominate and once again my fight did not leave the 1st round so very happy with the result. Farina had the best undefeated record, now I do.

Interviewer: Who would you like to fight next?

Emelianegro: The champion of course. We come from a top camp and come to fight the best. We will easily take the belts and then defend them.

Interviewer: Anything else you want to tell your fans boys?

War Machine: No but if you are done we would like to gape you again like we did this morning.

Sara Carbonara: Let's do this boys !

Heydrich:

'I finished Jeremy Jones. Not bad a for a former free agent that lost 3 months training when I should have been in the gym. Just finished a guy more skilled than that chump Orndwarf has ever faced. Take a look at the number one contender, 'Lighty', fuck me, it must be great being 'champ' and facing those 28 year old fuck tards.

I can just see it, Orndwarf shitting his pants and Bruno saying 'Dwarfy chill man, keep training, there's loads of 25 year old creations on the roster and I'll keep the young guns fighting each other, its sorted bro.

Man the fuck up Orndwarf!'

Daniel "The Hammer" Orndorf: Heydrich, when you become relevant I'll worry about you. Until then shut the fuck up, chump! You are nothing and will always be beneath me. Jeremy Jones was the first fighter of any real quality you have faced to date and you think that means you're ready for a title fight? Fuck you! You are a chump. When and if you ever get to title contention, then I'll knock you the fuck out like everyone else who faces me. Punk ass, bitch. You're not even worthy of cleaning my jock strap. Worthless fuck.

'Daniel, care to explain how Lighty Lightheavy is a challenge? A 28 year old with rank because he was a 25 year old in a new org. He is a fighter on borrowed time, and you sir, are feeding off these fighters to pad out your record. That fight is a mis-match, its a disgrace, and you should be ashamed of yourself for hiding behind Bruno Falcone. You ARE a protected fighter, and come the day when you HAVE to face me, I will destroy you.

To be fair, if you or your mediocre management team had any sense, you would fight me now, delaying the inevitable will make your destruction more complete as I will bring more weapons the day we finally meet. You're chin will fail Daniel.

To my fans: I will be back in 2019, and I will remain undefeatable.'

One look at Anthony Falconer's road to the top 5 in his division tells the whole story.
